Glad to see you catching up on the posts my friend. Waiting eagerly for the next show.
(Funny I don't care much for Thesz at all but he's always going to give a strong performance so there's always that)

Is his color card as strong as his black and white one? Anywho, posting the next card now. Thanks again brother!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Basement Brawls - Month 1 - Card 10: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
January 22nd St. Anselms Church 4th Avenue & 82nd Street Brooklyn, N.Y. Start Time - 12:00 am.
Opening Bout: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Masked Superstar (With Lou Albano) defeated Road Warrior Animal (With Paul Ellering) via Pinfall - Superstar pinned Animal via his Superstar Clothesline at the 15:00 minute mark.
Tag Bout: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. Crime & Punnishment - Nick Bockwinkel & Harley Race (With Bobby Heenan) defeated Superfly Samurai - Jimmy Snuka & Giant Baba (With April Hunter) via Submission - Snuka submitted to Bockwinkel's BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER primary finisher - at the 6:30 minute mark.
Main Event: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. Frank Gotch defeated Buddy Rogers via Submission - Rogers submitted to Gotch's Rolling Kneebar at the 7:30 minute mark.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Match Notes & Observations: --------------------------------------------------------
1. A consistently ring shaking match that ended with Masked Supetstar pinning a bloodied Road Warrior Animal as ironically...Lou Albano distracted Paul Ellering before he could interfere...
2. April Hunter's tight t-shirted presence here winds up distracting everyone in attendance at ringside with the exceptions of...the referee...and Nick Bockwinkel...
3. After surviving Buddy Rogers's Piledriver pin attempt and Gotch having his head blasted into the timekeepers table by Rogers...Frank Gotch slowed down the pace via several painful holds including his GOTCH TOEHOLD finisher...
Individual Wrestler Scoreboard: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

▪ Bobby Heenan - (The team of Crime & Punnishment and only Nick Bockwinkel in singles competition).
Special Notes: -----------------------------------------
▪ The Dark Menace...our Owner in this endeavor said that Morgan Dollar had committed to becoming our referee for the rest of this year's competition but apparently now...that's not the case...the referee for tonight was someone I've never seen before...someone who simply calls himself Hector...
▪ After thinking about my grandmother for now about 30 minutes or so...I was then able to walk over to our Commissioner in this endeavor April Hunter...and report back that the suitcase full of cash has been deposited by a contact of mine at bank on the corner of 80th & 3rd avenue...only as long as I let him watch these brawls in person...so theres that...its harmless...besides...what could go wrong?...

Go Go Gotch.
Thesz offense is a mite lower but he got a new defensive attack to make up for it.

"April Hunter's tight t-shirted presence here winds up distracting everyone in attendance at ringside with the exceptions of...the referee...and Nick Bockwinkel..."
Nick Bockwinkel, I can understand. He's a man's man and is strictly business when the bell rings. Who is this referee Hector, and how did he get licensed as a referee? I demand answers! Is he even alive? Does he have a pulse?
In all seriousness, great show man. As I said before, really love your concept. And this show was a lot of fun. Can't wait for the next one. Which I'm thinking. Hawk loses next week as well. Taking the Road Warriors to 0-2 over these two shows. Salt of the Earth gets another win. And, of course, Bockwinkel over in the main event. Let's Go Crime and Punishment!

Go Go Gotch. Thesz offense is a mite lower but he got a new defensive attack to make up for it. Hey TTX! I am right there with you. Gotch has been Gotch lately so all is good. With these brawls, everyone wrestles each other basically twice over the course of the 144 cards in the year. Really looking forward to a few key matchups with Gotch for sure. Thanks for the skinny on Thesz's colorized card. That's kind of cool that even though his offense is a little less he sounds in a way even more dangerous because his defensive / countering is so potent. Going to be posting the eleventh card at some point today. As always many thanks brother!

Yep they will be creeping forward slowly but surely. April will be quite distracting in this - more to follow. Frank Gotch is the man. I always liked @pariahs description of him - he called Frank Gotch the Ty Cobb of wrestling, with his old school cast iron determination. It should be interesting to see how The Original Nature Boy fares in this competition as well. Going to be posting the next installment at some point today. Thanks a million for your support my man!
