I got the booster shot today at Moderna who is still paying me from being a vaccine volunteer last year. No side effects or problems other than a little arm fatigue where I got the booster shot this morning. Moderna wanted me to get this booster two weeks ago shortly after it got emergency approval but they contacted me the day after I got my annual flu shot and I had to wait 14 days after the flu shot before I could get the booster. Moderna did not require me to get the booster, but since I teach very crowded classrooms (up to 42 students) and COVID-19 has been hitting my school hard (I have students in every class currently out or recently out in quarantine and the teacher who teaches in the classroom diagonally from me just returned after being out 2 weeks with COVID-19 and a Science teacher quit after getting sick,) I chose to get the booster. Moderna today also gave me an updated vaccine card which I think I need to fly to Germany next month. I stand corrected. Shortly after I made that above post saying I just had a sore arm, I got sicker as apparently some side effects from today's booster shot finally kicked in. My arm is still weak but now I also have a slight headache and I am shivering even though I wrapped myself in a blanket. But still not as bad as I felt after the second vaccine shot. I am going to get some sleep and then hopefully feel better in the morning. |

Don't know if there is any connection . But since our 2nd booster (months ago) our iron in our blood for me , wife and mother-in-law have hit worringly nearly rock bottom . I have a different doctor to wife/mother-in-law . Anyone else had problems ?

Not for me. I just gave blood and my iron was strong. The tech even cheered that it was so high. I eat a ton of leafy greens and in the last month a bit more beef than usual. I have had no ill effects from the vaccine other than my day after the second dose.

I just woke up after sleeping for almost 9 hours. I feel much better but still feeling lethargic. I got hit hard by the booster but like that second shot it was just temporary and I was able to sleep through most of it.

Looking to get my booster tomorrow. Got my flu shot on Tuesday and it went great. Felt a little feverish but no big deal.
Really hope we can kick this COVID-19 thing in the head. Had to drive my wife to the ER this morning (she's fine) and I couldn't go in with her because of COVID. Not fun.

I had the vacccine but i still got it anyway. But im recovering nicely now.

USA - People complaining about having to wear masks on planes, some getting in fights.
China - People are being forcible removed from their homes so the government can turn said homes into COVID residence for people with COVID.
Being a silver lining kind of guy, I wonder if what is going on in China might help lead to people standing up to the Communist regime and fight for Democracy. It won't be this alone but it could be one of the straws that breaks the camel's back.
