Edit: Click here to go straight to my title histories.
The early classics are an era of the GWF I've always loved. Years ago, I started an early classics fed (2006 according to the dates on my .doc files) and I always intended to post it here. I had wanted to wait until the early classics were added to Filsinger Games online to post it here, but I don't see that happening so I'm going to go ahead and do it now. I had played 21 cards and ended sometime in 2076 I think. So I'm gonna post all of those cards here (about one per day I'd guess) and once I get to card 21, then I'll continue playing all the way up until 2087. The goal here for me is to merge this early classics history with the history of my 2087 and beyond Fed so that I'll have a full back story and title history and all that all the way from 2074 up until...well up until the 2100s and beyond that too. I want to go as far as I can.
The style of this will be quite different from the style of my other 2087 fed as the GWF in the early days was more about the wrestling and less about the drama and story. So this will mostly be matches and results. I've noticed in some of my cards I have some summaries of the cards written up, but others are just the results. When I get caught up and start new cards again I'll add summaries to every card so there's a little more detail there.
Now since this fed has a lot of early classics wrestlers and that set has been out of print for some time now, if anyone has any questions about the wrestlers or the early history of the GWF, feel free to ask. I actually was surprised at how much stuff I didn't remember. Like how Solar Flare and Moonstrike were the GWF's first wrestlers from Titan and how Omega and Morpheus wrestled together as a tag team briefly in the early days. So I'm re-learning some stuff too.
So in a little bit, you'll see card #1, the first ever card in GWF history posted. Hope you all enjoy this era just as much as I do!
