APRIL: K.O. Keller b. DragonMaster with a stomp to the chest, capping off an incredible comeback, to retain the GWF World Heavyweight Championship (***). Keller had a long way back in this one, getting in a big size hole early on (PROMOTER'S NOTE: DragonMaster put 4 tokens on him in a hurry!). He resorted to brawling tactics, which wore DragonMaster down eventually (hey, if you took a few too many shots to the head, you'd wear down too! ), allowing him to slam D'Master hard to the mat, stomp a mudhole in him, and apply the pinfall! DragonMaster had the World Title in his grasp, only to be foiled by Keller's resilience! On the undercard, in a battle of contenders, Bounty Hunter battled to a time limit Draw with Lance At-Las (***1/2). Good bout, very evenly matched. Hunter tried to win with power moves, At-Las utilized his speed and agility to stay in it. At-Las is showing himself to be an emerging singles star on the World Title stage....been a long time coming! Up next for Keller is a trip to MSG in New York, NY next month for a scheduled bout with his great rival Omega! Keller: 3 Title Defenses.

MAY: Omega DQ K.O. Keller when Keller walloped Omega with a chair outside of the ring, leading to him getting the hook....but retaining the World Title (**1/4). Another heated, albeit short, battle between 2 blood rivals! Tensions are always high between these two, and Omega has vowed that he and his family will not stop until the World Title is off Keller's waist!
On the undercard, Wolf battled to a time limit DRAW against Pegasus in a battle for the Interplanetary Heavyweight Championship (****1/4). Very good contest, with lots of back and forth. Pegasus had his chances, but our champion, while bloodied, would not be defeated!
And in singles action, Mr. Centra b. Beast Rider with the Vector One Verve (**3/4). Beast Rider showed a surprising amount of pluck in this one, but in the end, Mr. Centra was just too much.
As for our world champion, it appears that the Omega family is indeed determined to get that belt off of him, as he will face Alpha Force for the title next month, from Boston!
Keller: 4 Title Defenses.

JUNE: Alpha Force b. K.O. Keller with the Ultimate Force to become the nnnnnnneeeeeewwwww GWF World Heavyweight Champion, avenging his father for his troubles with Keller to boot (**3/4). Keller started out like a house on fire, but Alpha Force was not to be denied this evening, and once he gained control, he did not relinquish it, beating Keller from pillar to post for his actions against the Omega family. Take that K.O.!! Tonight was a convincing win for the Omega family, and for Alpha Force, who has proven to be a great champion whenever he has held the belt! On the undercard, in tag-team action, the team of Perfect Specimen & the legendary Lord Nexus b. Saber and The Invincible Krakan with the Pinnacle of Success in a rivalry that will never truly end (i.e., the Titans vs. CTA-102) (**3/4). Albeit a short match, it was intense, as these contests always are between these warring factions. For now, the Titans have the upper hand! Up first for our newly crowned World Champion is a trip to Syracuse, NY for a scheduled defense next month against Blazing Skull. And on the undercard, the GWF World Tag-Team Championship will be defended, as the champs Scion Nexus and Nitro take on the team of Saber & Krakan....can the team from CTA-102 gain revenge for their loss tonight? (PROMOTER'S NOTE: Well, I had Saber & Krakan scheduled to take on the champs next card, so although they lost tonight, losing a bit of momentum, I'm still going with it....heck, I love this feud, and after all, its up to me Promoter!)

JULY: Alpha Force b. Blazing Skull with the Ultimate Force to retain the GWF World Heavyweight Title (***1/2). Skull acquitted himself very well in this title contest, giving Alpha Force fits in the early moments of the bout. Alpha Force was able to rally and almost K.O.'d Blazing Skull with the power of his Ultimate Force finisher!
On the undercard, the team of Saber & The Invincible Krakan b. the defending champions Scion Nexus and Nitro to become the nnnnnneeeeewwww GWF World Tag-Team Champions (***). Down go the Titans, and to their hated rivals from CTA-102!! This rivalry has only heated up GWF fans, as for now, the stable from CTA-102 has the upper hand...and the belts!! Egads!!
As for our World Champion, he will next head to Philadelphia, PA for a scheduled defense against the great Pegasus.
Alpha Force: 1 Title Defense.

AUGUST: Alpha Force b. Pegasus with the Ultimate Force to remain GWF World Heavyweight Champion (**3/4). Impressive win by Alpha Force, over one of the GWF's all-time best! Pegasus brought the match to the champ to start, but our champion was not be denied this evening. Always good sparks between these 2 bitter rivals, as Pegasus has had a long-time feud with the Omega family.
On the undercard, Wolf DQ Marcus Colby (challenging from my bootleg fed!) to remain the Interplanetary Champion (**1/4). Good battle while it lasted, but just deteriorated into a Pier 6 Brawl pretty quickly, forcing the ref to call for the hook! Wolf's reign as IP champ continues GWF fans!
As for our World Champion, he will next head to New York, NY for a scheduled defense against Turbo (yes, the Turbo from early GWF bootlegging days!). See you all there!
Wolf: 3 Title Defenses. Alpha Force: 2 Title Defenses.

SEPTEMBER: Alpha Force DQ Turbo when the big man blasted our champion with a chair, resulting in Alpha Force retaining the World Heavyweight Title (**1/2). This match deteriorated quickly, as it seemed Turbo was just hell-bent on injuring our champion, versus actually winning the title (match spilled out of the ring several times!). Tensions were high afterwards, as there was no need for Turbo to resort to such brutish tactics!
On the undercard, Basilisk b. Perfect Specimen by COR in a rematch from earlier....nothing has been resolved between these 2! And Wolf retained his Interplanetary Title by defeating Marcus Colby with the Savage Face Claw in a very good bout (****1/2). Colby had his chances, but the wild man prevailed in the end with his devastating hold!
Well, Alpha Force will have to wait a bit to gain his revenge on Turbo, as he must head to Boston next month for a scheduled defense against Tex Remington (another bootleg blast from the past, courtesy of Tim Dalton!).
Wolf: 4 Title Defenses. Alpha Force: 3 Title Defenses.

OCTOBER: Alpha Force b. Tex Remington with the Ultimate Force to remain GWF World Heavyweight Champion (**). The wild and wooly Remington didn't know what hit him, as Alpha Force was not in the mood for a long title defense this evening! He steamrolled Tex with the Ultimate Force, flattening the challenger like a pancake, en route to retaining the GWF World Title!
On the undercard, Perfect Specimen b. Murdock with a piledriver (***). Spec was in good form this evening, and remains a top contender!
Up next for our champion will be a scheduled defense against Omega-family rival Morpheus!
Alpha Force: 4 Title Defenses.
(Okay gang, starting with my next post, and like I'm doing in my Legends fed, I'm switching how I "date" my cards. Whereas each card was equaling one month of game time, each card will now represent one week. I've used this model with another fed I've run for years, and like it better....after all, I'm basing this model on the World Champ touring the member territories, and I like having the champ making a defense in a territory at least once per week. Gives me more results for each "season" too, from which to determine the Award winners.
So, with the next post, we'll pick this up from Week 11, and from then on, I'll post a few weeks' results at at time, keeping it very simple!)
