WEEK 11: Morpheus b. Alpha Force to become the nnnnneeeewwww GWF World Heavyweight Champion with the Trip to Hades (***1/2). Down goes Alpha Force, and to a family rival! Wolf b. Doomsayer with a Slicing Heel Kick to retain the Interplanetary Championship (***).
Wolf: 5 Title Defenses.
WEEK 12: Morpheus b. Omega, denying the Omega family patriarch his shot at revenge for son Alpha Force's loss, with the Trip to Hades (****). Omega nearly had Morpheus down for the count, when Omega's rival, and Morpheus ally, K.O. Keller interfered, costing Omega the win!! Boo! Boo!!
On the undercard, Bloodline & Star Warrior DQ Mighty Grogan and K.O. Keller (***). Seems Keller is involved in chaos wherever he goes these days!
Morpheus: 1 Title Defense.
WEEK 13: Down goes Morpheus!!! DragonMaster b. Morpheus with the Titan Drop to become the nnnnnneeeewwww GWF World Heavyweight Champion (***3/4). Great match, full of a lot of back and forth action. DragonMaster scores one for the good guys!
On the undercard, the fantastic duo of Scion Nexus & Nitro regained the GWF World Tag-Team Championships with a win over Saber and Invincible Krakan with the Rise & Fall. The Titans are righting wrongs all over the place tonight GWF fans, and now hold the top 2 championships in the GWF!
Up next, in Week 14 for our new champion, is a trip to Rochester for a rematch with Morpheus, who was none too pleased at losing the strap! See you there GWF fans!

WEEK 14: Well, after enjoying a garbage plate here in Rochester, its time for some great GWF wrestling action! In a return bout, Morpheus b. DragonMaster with a Trip to Hades to win back the GWF World Heavyweight Championship (***3/4). DragonMaster, we hardly knew you! Good bout, with Morpheus seizing control in the last 1/3rd of the contest. On the undercard, Wolf DQ Wraith to retain the Interplanetary Heavyweight Title (**3/4). These two have some history, having a long, torrid feud at one point in time. Wraith's temper cost him this time, costing him the match and the belt. Wolf: 6 Title Defenses. WEEK 15: Morpheus DQ Pit Viper to retain the GWF World Title (**1/4). Pit Viper looked like a man hellbent on revenge at the beginning of this contest....almost as if he had a personal vendetta for DragonMaster losing the title last week ...but alas, it cost him in the end, as Morpheus retained the belt when Pit Viper just wouldn't stop with his brawling. Morpheus: 1 Title Defense. WEEK 16: Morpheus DQ Lord Nexus in a short but furious bout (**). What is with Morpheus and the Titans?? A lot of heat between them, to be sure, and Nexus clearly wanted to strike back for the Titans, but when the action spilled out of the ring, and Nexus fought fire-with-fire in brawling with Morpheus, the referee had seen enough, and called for the bell. Morpheus has been a bit lucky his last 2 defenses! Morpheus: 2 Title Defenses. Up next for our World Champion is a trip to MSG for a headline match with Thunder...don'tcha dare miss it GWF fans!

DragonMaster should know better than to eat a garbage plate before a match! I love the idea of Viper & DM switching identities depending on the match. Has a Jimmy Valiant/Charlie Brown feel to it, only with less hair!

WEEK 17: Morpheus b. Thunder with a Trip to Hades to retain the GWF World Heavyweight Championship in relatively short order this evening (**1/4). Surprisingly easy time for our champion tonight with a challenger of Thunder's quality, but Morpheus is surely no slouch, and he proved it here tonight! He'd better be in top form, as he has Omega up to bat next week! On the undercard, Godsend b. Exo-King II (i.e., the new one!) with a Kingdom Come (***1/4). Good bout, fair amount of heat between the two, and this resulted in a fun brawl for the fans to see! Godsend, ever the adaptable one, proved he can brawl or wrestle with the best of them. He remains a top contender (and probably always will be in this neck of the woods! ). He has gained, by virtue of this win, a shot at Wolf's Interplanetary Title next week! Morpheus: 3 Title Defenses. WEEK 18: In one of the GWF's signature rivalries, Morpheus b. Omega to retain the GWF World Heavyweight Title with a Trip to Hades (****1/2). Yet another great match between these two historic rivalries, one which saw Omega have 3 chances with his Tomahawk Chop finisher to put Morpheus away at the end! Morpheus showed incredible intestinal fortitude to retain the belt in this one GWF fans! This is (as it has been many, many years) a FEUD OF THE YEAR CANDIDATE.On the undercard, Godsend b. Wolf and ended Wolf's Interplanetary Title reign with the Hell's Threshold (**3/4). Godsend gains his first Interplanetary Title with this win over the "Savage One", now becoming a Triple Crown winner in the GWF (World, World Tag-Team, and IP). Sitting in on commentary this evening was the great Max Shield, who issued a challenge to Godsend for an IP Title shot after the match. Godsend indicated he'd be more than happy to oblige...could be a great matchup GWF fans! Wow....both of our singles titles are now held by Hall of Famers! Should be some fireworks ahead as the GWF's finest try to unseat these champs! Up next for our World Champion is a date with the talented Aegis, live from Boston, MA. Don'tcha Dare Miss it! Morpheus: 4 Title Defenses.

WEEK 19: Aegis DQ Morpheus when Morpheus used some nefarious tactics to try and maintain ownership of the GWF World Heavyweight Title....which worked we might add....ending the match in less than satisfactory fashion (**1/4). The fans were very upset with this result, and voiced their displeasure, as Morpheus was less than upstanding in this defense. A rematch has been ordered for next week!
On the undercard, Rising Sun DQ Pegasus in a quick bout (**). Not much transpired here, other than Rising Sun was a little worse for the wear in receiving a few stiff punches from Pegasus! These 2 are long-time rivals, and nothing less is expected when they lock up!
Morpheus: 5 Title Defenses.
WEEK 20: In a rematch from Week 19, Aegis b. Morpheus to become the NNNNEEEEWWWW GWF World Heavyweight Champion, avenging his loss from Week 19, winning with the Final Salvo (**3/4). Aegis had his working boots on tonight, and was bound and determined to not leave the arena without the gold around his waist! All hail our new champion!
And our new champion, fresh off his short feud with Morpheus, will head to Toronto next week for a scheduled defense against Morpheus's ally Mighty Grogan!

WEEK 21: Aegis b. Mighty Grogan with the Final Salvo to retain the GWF World Heavyweight Championship (**1/4). Aegis was a steamroller tonight, not taking any significant punishment from the challenger, and retains the belt in a relatively easy match! Grogan, Morpheus, and KO Keller form a formidable stable of wrestlers, and Aegis has now defeated 2 out of the 3....not making any friends with these guys, that's for sure!
Aegis: 1 Title Defense.
WEEK 22: Aegis b. Killer Queen with the Final Salvo to remain GWF World Heavyweight Champion (****1/2). Great match, with the always tough Killer Queen! Queen has been a tough out throughout his GWF career, and showed incredible resilience once again, surviving 3 Final Salvo's in the last 1/3rd of the match! The fans almost started to support the notorious heel because of his great intestinal fortitude! Aegis was lucky to escape with the gold around his waist this evening!
On the undercard, Max Shield b. Godsend with the Omicron Force to win the Interplanetary Heavyweight Title (***). Another solid match this evening, with the fans loving the popular Shield winning the IP strap from the hated Godsend. Godsend was hopping mad about the result, saying he clearly had his foot on the bottom rope, and has demanded a rematch!
Aegis: 2 Title Defenses.
Up next for our champion is a trip to MSG in New York for a scheduled defense against Nosfera! And on the undercard, we are going to get that rematch between Max Shield and Godsend for the IP Title GWF fans!

Hello fans of the thread formerly known as World Championship Tour-GWF/COTG! Hello, hello....anybody out there? Is this thing on?? I've decided in an effort to simply consolidate all of my various feds, I'm returning to my former "highlights" style format where each card features matches from the various member promotions of my umbrella organization, Joint Promotions. I've run this style for years and years, which is consistent with my desire to feature World Title Tours, in that each card features the champs....at least one or two of them on each card, defending their titles. But, it consolidates all of my feds into single cards of action, which is better for my feeble head. So, I'll roll in my World Championship Tour-WWA/LOW thread into this one, and add in my bootleg fed's results as well, giving me my 3 main feds under the Joint Promotions umbrella, which are: *GWF: Home to official COTG, color and Black & White, all eras (I play Kronos-style). And....I do use favorite bootlegs in this fed from time to time as well. *WWA: Home to official LOW, plus LOW bootlegs that meet the card creation rules. *AAW: Home to fictional COTG-bootleg characters AND eventually, the Kronos wresters. I also will use any reimagined COTG wrestlers in this fed, such as the "Best of Set" released earlier this summer. This'll be simpler, and I'll simply post card by card results, to include my BIG supercard/PPV I'm currently in the middle of running. So, stay tuned for that fans! Also, you will see inter-promotional battles fairly frequently in this fed, so if you don't like Mandrill vs. Lou Thesz and other strange match ups, well, be warned! Enjoy, and look for the mid-season Supercard soon!
