Kowalski really popping up in a lot of feds I'm following. Good to see him even if he came up short against DiBiase. Firpo really put the hurt to Vampiro.

As always you have a great knack for booking and putting together fun cards. I really like the all women's shows and that was awesome to see Sherri Martel dethrone Mildred Burke. Sad to see Sherri drop it so soon to the Fabulous Moolah but the competition is extremely tough for that championship. The last MSG card was stellar complete with a Jimmy Snuka leap from the top of the cage (I'm assuming he did that!). You can't beat that.
I wouldn't worry too much about the Jack Brisco situation, though I do feel your pain as we have all had results that shocked us. You could actually build great heat around it as Steve Corino is the "King of Old School" after all. Imagine the taunting he could do based on that and then even better would be Brisco finally getting a big revenge win over him. I'm hoping you reconsider cutting Brisco before he gets another shot at Corino.
Anyway awesome fed my friend, looking forward to more action.

Card 51 – Boston Garden, Boston, MA
B.G. James & Barry Windham def. Texas Hangmen (Killer & Psycho) when Windham pinned Killer after a LARIAT – dud. This was over quickly will all four men seeing brief action before Windham countered a back drop attempt with a piledriver and then hit his finisher for the victory. Too Cool (Brian Christopher & Scott Taylor) def. Frank Dalton & Tommy Gilbert when Taylor pinned Dalton after THE WORM - ***. This was a thrilling back and forth contest in which either team could have taken the win but a key pin save by Christopher after an ATOMIC DROP to Taylor kept the action going and eventually Taylor was able to hit his crowd pleasing finisher for the three count from Morgan Dollar. “Iron” Mike DIBiase def. Mikey Whipwreck with a TOP ROPE KNEE TO BACK - **. There was a great pace to this one but the finish was not without some controversy as DiBiase used Dr. Mike Lano as a human foreign object to gain the upper hand and then hit his finisher back to back for the win. Flying Redheads (Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons) def. Vachons (Butcher Vachon & Mad Dog Vachon) by disqualification when Mad Dog used a chair to smash Lyons during a brawl on the floor - *. The Vachon’s antics before the bell did not impress Morgan Dollar so when Mad Dog used a chair on this opponent the official was more than happy to call for the bell. Vampiro def. Pampero Firpo with a superkick in a Boston Street Fight - **. This one was dominated by Vamprio who battered his foe to a bloody mess in a wild battle that spilled to the parking lot and back and featured the use of a turnbuckle wrench and steel chair before it was over. Buddy Rogers def. Killer Kowalski with a cross body block deathjump - ****. This was a display in brutality as Nature Boy took a thrashing for most of the match that saw the official get knocked down for several moves but managed to avoid a Bombs Away and then came off the top himself for the win. Larry Hennig & Hugh Morrus def. World Tag Team Champions Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal) w/Paul Ellering to win the Titles when Hennig pinned Animal after an elbow drop - **. The Warriors looked to have things going their way after a DOOMSDAY DEVICE to Hennig but a pin save kept the action going. Morgan Dollar was taken out for several moves and after he recovered Morrus and Hennig controlled the match and captured the gold in a shocker. Jimmy Snuka def. World Champion Ted DiBiase with a SUPERFLY LEAP to win the title - * ½. The fans were still buzzing after the last match and they were treated to back to back title changes as Snuka dominated the action from bell to bell, in and out of the ring, and took the win with his finisher from the top of the corner. News and Views: Things were turned upside down tonight with not one but two title changes as Jimmy Snuka claimed the World Title and the team of Larry Hennig & Hugh Morrus captured the Tag Team Titles, both in what must be considered upsets. We look for rematches for the titles with Snuka defending against DiBiase in Elizabeth, NJ (#54) and the Warriors will look regain the tag straps at the next Madison Square Garden show (#55) . . . Speaking of the MSG event, the card will feature a special F8ful Eight Tournament that will see eight competitors meet in a single elimination tournament with the winner getting to battle for the World Title at Showdown at Shea (#60).

Very cool that Snuka claimed the title with a big Superfly Leap... And of course, I'm stoked that Vampiro one upped the Wild Bull in that Boston Street Fight... Truth!

Double title change at the Boston Gardens! Snuka leaps his way to victory over Dibiase for the world title and Hennig & Morrus pull off a huge shocker beating the Road Warriors for the tag titles. I'm with Pariah on the Vampiro win, beating Firpo in a Boston Street Fight would be no easy feat. B.G. James & Barry Windham continue to roll, I have been very impressed by that pairing. I am really looking forward to the Showdown at Shea.

Card 52 - Armory, Waterville, ME
“Exotic” Adrian Street def. Ron Hutchison via count-out after a chair shot at ringside – dud. Street dominated his first appearance in the territory and earned lots of heat throughout out the match but non more intense then after using a weapon on Hutchison that finished the match.
Konnan def. Rock Riddle with a powerbomb into jackknife – dud. Another debut and another one sided victory as Konnan used his mix to agility and skill to frustrate Riddle from bell to bell. Jackie Fargo def. Lou Albano with a deathjump cross body - * ½. Three debuts tonight and three wins for the new commers. This was a classic brawl that saw Albano survive back to back ATOMIC DROPS early on in the match and later Fargo used a microphone cord to choke out Albano before getting the pin. Al Snow w/Head def. Steve Corino with a moonsault - **. This was an old school brawl that spilled in and out of the ring. Head made to appearances in the action and Corino made use of the ring bell. Snow hit two SNOW PLOWS but it was a moonsault that put an end to the action. Jack Brisco def. Angelo Poffo with a dropkick – dud. This was a statement match for Brisco who had struggled in the last few series of encounters and he put down his opponent in just two moves!
Iron Sheik def. Johnny Valentine by disqualification when Valentine used a chair to smash Sheik - ***. This was a hard hitting back and forth battle with Sheik attacking with boots and suplexes and Valentine hammering back with punches, chops and forearms. Both men traded finishers before things went to the floor and Sheik grabbed a chair. Valentine took the chair and used it and it cost him the contest. The fight carried on are the bell with Sheik retreating to the back and Valentine in pursuit.
B.G. James & Barry Windham def. Soviets (Alexis Smirnoff & Nikolai Volkoff) when Windham pinned Smirnoff after a SWEETWATER SUPLEX – dud. Windham and Smirnoff started the match off and neither man tagged out before Windham hit his finisher and took the win after only a few moves.

Card 53 - National Arena, Washington DC
Melina def. Francine with PRIMAL SCREAM – dud. Melina made short work of her foe on this evening shutting down Francine completely and putting her away in less than six moves.
Ida Mae Martinez def. Joyce Grable by disqualification when Grable rammed Martinez into the ringside table - **. The speed and agility of Martinez caused Grable fits in this one and when the opportunity to do some damage on the floor, Grable took full advantage but the referee was not pleased and made the disqualification call when the ringside table and the seated officials were sent flying.
Nora Greenwald def. Judy Martin with a deathjump crossbody block - * ½. Greenwald started strong and never allowed her opponent to get anything going as Greenwald picked up near falls after a handspring elbow and a Northern Lights suplex before coming of the top for the win.
Jazz def. Madison Rayne by count-out - *. Jazz was a machine in this one twice using Southern Comfort to wear out her opponent and a fisherman buster sent Rayne to the floor where Jazz slammed Rayne hard onto the floor and it was enough for the referee to reach ten before Rayne could regain the ring.
Leilani Kai def. Trish Stratus with a RUNNING SPLASH - **. This was a competitive encounter that went back and forth before Kai really pressed the attack with a pair of butterfly suplexes and scoop slams that winded Stratus. Stratus kicked out after one RUNNING SPLASH but a second gave Kai a big win in a rare singles appearance. Sherri Martel def. Rockin Robin by count-out - * ½. Martel looked every bit a former champion as she dominated most of this encounter much to the displeasure of the fans and the finish came when Martel backdropped Robin on the floor and she could not return to the ring before the referee ended his ten count.
Women’s Champion Fabulous Moolah def. Mildred Burke with a SMALL PACKAGE - ***. Moolah took control of the action early and was relentless in her attack using both her finishers but Burke managed to just kick out after each and every pin attempt. Burke reversed a whip a ringside and Moolah went hard into the ring post and appeared on the verge of making a huge comeback when a defensive SMALL PACKAGE ended it.

Very cool that Melina opened the show with a win even though the match itself was a dud.
Moolah vs. Burke should make an awesome rivalry... Especially with a title tossed into the mix... Great stuff!

Kowalski took things too far when he used a chair to smash Corino across the back. Buddy Rogers def. Vampiro with a FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE - ***. This match was not very long but the intensity was off the charts with both men trading finishers early and the action going back to forth until Rogers trapped Vampiro in a second FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE for the win. Iron Sheik def. Johnny Valentine with a CAMEL CLUTCH - ** ½. Another intense battle that went back and forth with plenty of hard hitting until Sheik loaded up his boot and bloodied his foe and then picked up the submission victory. Vachons (Butcher Vachon & Mad Dog Vachon) def. Flying Redheads (Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons) when Butcher Vachon used a big splash on Bastien - **. The back and forth battle came to sudden end when Butcher used his size to crush Bastien with a splash and take the victory out of nowhere (snake eyes!)
Ted DiBiase def. World Champion Jimmy Snuka with a FULL POWER SLAM - *. This result left the fans fuming as Snuka totally dominated the action in the ring but DiBiase dragged Snuka to the floor and rammed him into the ring post. A bloodied Snuka was clearly knocked semi-conscious and DiBiase ended it in the very next move with his finisher.

The fans ate up the action and could not have been happier with the finish. Al Snow w/Head def. Killer Kowalski with a SNOW PLOW - ** ½. Kowalski got into it with Morgan Dollar and got under the skin of the official but once the action got underway this was a back and forth battle. Snow began to get the upper hand after Head got involved for the first of two times. Snow hit his finisher once but Kowalski kicked out but Snow followed with another SNOW PLOW immediately for the win. Vampiro def. Flying Redheads (Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons) when Lyons was counted-out of the ring - *. The Vachon’s cut off Lyons from the outset and struck with a double team attack and then Mad Dog nailed a Mad Dog Pounce that put Lyons in a heap of trouble but Lyons could not recover after Mad Dog Vachon dropped him gut first across the rails.

Snow and Snuka showed the fatigue of the two previous rounds but Snow managed to kick out after a SUPERFLY LEAP and that got the fans into the balance of the match but things ended without a three count. Snuka has booked himself into the World Title Match at Showdown at Shea!
Women’s Champion Fabulous Moolah def. Sherri Martel by disqualification - ****. Just a great back and forth battle with both women gaining several near falls as the action raged in and out of the ring. Moolah quickly grabbed her title and escaped the ring leaving a frustrated Martel in the middle of the ring.
Road Warriors (Animal & Hawk) w/Paul Ellering def. World Tag Team Champions Larry Hennig & Hugh Morrus to win the Titles when Animal pinned Hennig after a flying shoulder ram - **.
