Thanks for the comments. And now....THE MOTHERSHIP with Tony and David Tony started the show with a preview of tonight's main event between Patriot and Nikita Koloff. He said Patriot had a delayed flight but he's on his way to the building as they speak and WILL be there in time for the main event. Ranger Ross defeated Lenny Lane with a cross bodyblock. This was no easy task for Ross, who nearly fell in defeat. He survived numerous pin attempts by Lenny to come back and hit a cross body for the win. Ranger Ross spoke with Tony and David after the match. He said he's got his eyes on Ivan and Nikita and there are a lot of patriotic wrestlers in the area who would love a chance to shut them up, himself included. MAGNUM TA stepped onto the set and said he agreed one hundred percent with Ranger Ross. TA mentioned that everyone knows his past experience with Ivan and now he's back and more dangerous than ever with nephew Nikita under his tutelage. Magnum said he'd be watching the main event tonight closely and if the Russians try any "funny business" they can be sure they'll see him out there. Ross agreed. The two shoook hands and Magnum went to the ring. Magnum TA defeated Dirty Frank Dalton. The second long and hard match of the show. Dalton threw everything he had at Magnum, but TA fought back. In the end Magnum stunned Dalton with a dropkick long enough to get the rollup and the pin. Following the bell, IVAN KOLOFF jumped onto the ring apron and began yelling at Magnum. With TA distracted NIKITA came into the ring and floored him with a RUSSIAN SICKLE from behind. Ivan was whipping Magnum with his steel chain when Ranger Ross jumped in the ring to try to help. He was easy prey for the double team and got a clothesline from the Russian chain for his effort. Ivan and Nikita left the ring as personnel helped Magnum and Ross in the ring. Cut to commercial Raging Bull Manny Fernandez defeated Redd Dogg after the FLYING BURRITO.In a rematch from last week Redd Dogg once again showed great tenacity, but Manny stayed focused and got the pin after about six minutes. Jimmy Valiant called Manny over to the interview area after the match and asked where his head is at lately because his temper is causing all sorts of problems. Manny said he already apologized to Rich last week and everyone knows he wasn't trying to hit Tommy with the chair. Jimmy says everyone THINKS he didn't mean to, but a lot aren't so sure. The only way to show solidarity is to show up next week for a six man tag team match against JJ Dillon's Masked Assassins. Manny was hesitant to agree to tag with Tommy next week, but reluctantly agreed that it's time to stop Dillon and his men in their tracks. Rock N Roll Express defeated The Merchants Of Menace in an instant classic tag team match. This match had it all. Ricky kicked out of so many pin attempts when it looked like he was beaten, Robert got the tag and came in like a man possessed. Both teams were at the point of exhaustion after fifteen minutes of hard action when Ricky pinned Hugh Morrus with a Huracanrana while Robert stopped Street from getting involved. Before the main event David Crockett set the scene, noting that the Russians had taken out Ranger Ross and Magnum before Patriot had arrived at the building and now there's nobody there to watch his back as he steps into the ring with the massive unknown in Nikita. Nikita Koloff (w/Ivan) won by disqualification over The Patriot in a wild ending. Patriot held his own against the unpolished but dangerous offense of the wild Russian. In the end Patriot went up top for the Patriot Missile (okay, a deathjump) and Nikita moved. Patriot collided with the referee, who was knocked out cold. Things got wild from there as Patriot used UNCLE SLAM and covered, but there was no referee there to count. As he tried to revive the ref, Nikita got up and tried to pounce from behind but Patriot caught him in UNCLE SLAM AGAIN! Ivan, sensing that his nephew was in trouble, got in the ring to interfere, but was intercepted by Patriot. As the referee struggled to get up, Patriot booted Ivan in the midsection and grabbed the chain. Nikita ran at Patriot, but got back dropped over the top rope to the floor (roll "out of the ring"). Patriot followed, chain still in hand, and attacked Nikita. The referee saw this and called for the bell (brawl, both roll for DQ, Patriot missed his roll). As the show went off the air the Patriot was in the ring arguing his case with the refere as Ivan and Nikita raised their arms in victory as the headed back to the locker room.

NWA WORLDWIDEwith your hosts, Bob Caudle and Gordon Solie Bob: "Welcome once again to NWA Worldwide. We have a trio of HUGE title matches on the show tonight, with your main event being Nick Bockwinkel traveling to Los Angeles to put the NWA World title on the line against the tremendous threat of Jim Londos." Gordon: "Londos is a man who can beat anyone in the sport on any given night. But first we go to one of two matchs from the Sunshine state this week as The Fantastics do battle with The Heavenly Bodies of Jim Del Ray and Dr Tom Prichard." The Heavenly Bodies defeated The Fantastics when Del Ray pinned Tommy. The Fantastics were on cruise control, seeming to have the match won when Dr Tom got a quick reversal and tag out to Jim Del Ray. The Bodies used a double suplex and JDR covered for the pin. Gordon: "A rare mostly clean victory for The Heavenly Bodies. And now on to Texas for the television title match between Don Curtis and Bull Curry." Bob: "And be on the lookout for a big debut as Texas welcomes Tully Blanchard back home." Before the bout in Texas Marc Lowrance introduced TULLY BLANCHARD to provide guest commentary for the following bout. Don Curtis used the SLEEPER to defeat Bully Curry to become Texas Television Champion.Bull pulled no punches in this one, but Curtis would not be intimidated and gave as good as he got. In the end Curtis stunned Bull with a dropkick and slapped on the sleeper for the win. Following the bout Tully Blanchard stepped into the ring with the championship belt in hand to give it to the new champ. Curtis reached out for the belt, but Tully pulled it away and said Curtis better understand he can hold the belt for now, but he's just keeping it warm for the real champion. Curtis pulled his title belt away from Tully and said anytime Tully's ready, Don Curtis is ready. Bob: "Tully Blanchard making an immediate impact on the scene in Texas." Gordon: "Indeed. And on that note, JACK BRISCO has returned to the sunshine state and you talk about impact, oh brother. Quickly establishing himself is the former world champion and new Florida heavyweight champion. But this week he faces the more than capable challenge of Bob Roop." Jack Brisco defeated Bob Roop via lateral guillotine to defend the Florida heavyweight title.Great action from bell to bell. Roop had Jack in trouble at one point, getting a near fall after a strong suplex. But Brisco rallied back for the win. BOB BACKLUND was in the HOT SEAT with BILL APTER. Bill recounted Bob's recent series of wins over rival Dan Severn and how he has had a virtually spotless record since coming to the NWA. His record is so impressive, in fact, that he has been named number one contender to the world title. Bob said hard work pays off and it always will. He stated that when his title match takes place he will make the most of the opportunity like he does with all things in life and hopes to be the next world champion. Nick Bockwinkel used the BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER to put away Jim Londos and defend the NWA world title. This was the battle of "choice C" since they both have it on move four of level 2 offense and it kept getting rolled. Bockwinkel had the advantage in that battle and ended up getting Londos down, then hit a piledriver for a near fall before going to the sleeper for the win. Gordon: "What a victory for the champion. And now we know he goes from the frying pan to the fire, as it were, because Bob Backlund is set to be the next to challenge for the title." Bob: "Bockwinkel will definitely get the chance to prove he is what he claims to be, and that's the greatest wrestler who ever lived. So far he has taken on the best in the sport and come out on top, but has he worn himself thin? We shall see. But for now, we're out of time. See you next week."

NWA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLINGwith your hosts Tony Schiavone and David Crockett Tony and David kicked off the show talking about the wild scene last week with the Russians, Magnum, Ranger Ross, and The Patriot. Patriot and Ross joined the duo and Patriot said nothing was settled last week but this week they've got both Koloffs in the ring for a tag team match so there won't be any back jumping this time. Ross added that Magnum is still hurt and Ranger Ross himself is a little sore from that clothesline with the steel chain, but that's not going to stop him from getting a piece of the Koloffs. Ivan and Nikita Koloff defeated The Patriot and Ranger Ross when Nikita pinned Ross. The match started with a brawl. Patriot and Nikita went to the floor while Ivan and Ross battled in the ring. Eventually things settled down into a standard tag team match. Ross got trapped in the ring and could not tag out as the Russians displayed superior teamwork. In the end REDD DOGG came out wearing a "USSR" bandana and distracted Patriot. Ivan tagged out to Nikita, who came in with the RUSSIAN SICKLE for the pin. Ivan, Nikita, and Redd Dogg went over to talk to Tony and David after the bout. David wanted to know "what in the WORLD are you doing wearing that USSR bandana, Rodney?" Dogg said he's come out here two times now and been screwed over twice. The Russians come in and all they do is win. So he made a deal with Ivan to become their new cornerman and flag bearer so he can learn their superior Russian powerlifting tactics and learn how to strategize to overcome the bias of the USA and it's corrupt officials. So from now on you can call Redd Dogg, The Black Russian, because just like a stiff drink he will knock you on your.....! Rock N Roll Express defeated The Moondogs when Ricky pinned Rex.This was another top notch tag team match between two teams vying for a title match. Ricky looked to be in serious trouble at one point, but he fired up and made the tag out to Robert. Robert came in and hit a knee lift folowed by a back elbow and an enzugiri before going for the pin. Spot broke it up but Ricky got back in the ring to take care of him. One DOUBLE DROPKICK later and Ricky scored the winning pin. Tony and David were joined by NWA WORLD CHAMPION NICK BOCKWINKEL. Tony recounted his latest title defense over Jim Londos in Los Angeles and said Nick has been a fighting champion. Nick scoffed and said of course he has been, because when you're the best you want the world to know it. And the only way to let them know is to step in the ring night after night and defeat all of their heroes and would-be challengers. David said that's easier said than done against someone like the NUBMER ONE CONTENDER BOB BACKLUND. Nick told David the hardest part of any Backlund match or interview is trying to stay awake long enough to see the end. He said Bob is a good mat technician though and when the championship committee makes the match it will be another great defense for the best wrestler who ever lived, Nick Bockwinkel. Jimmy Valiant, Tommy Rich, and Manny Fernandez defeated Masker Superstar II, Grappler, and Spoiler (w/JJ Dillon)Or I should say, Tommy and Jimmy beat them. The masked men back jumped the heroes as they made their way to the ring. Jimmy and Tommy were thrown into the ring, but Manny stayed on the floor. He remained there the entire match as Jimmy and Tommy overcame the odds. Superstar II was DOMINANT every time he entered the ring, but in the end Rich got the THESZ PRESS on Grappler for the pin. After the match Manny made a miraculous recovery and jumped in the ring to celebrate as if he had scored the winning pin. Jimmy was a little put off by it, asking how Manny recovered so quick after the bell. Tommy was having NONE of it and shoved Manny asking what he was celebrating because he sat on the floor the whole match. Manny pushed Tommy back and the two began to brawl as Jimmy attempted to break it up.
And the stupid Superstation insists on playing Atlanta Braves baseball even though no one cares, so we're outta time on this short edition of WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING!

Time again for....CWA from Memphiswith ol' Banana Nose himself as your host Lance began the show by announcing that, as a result of what happened at the end of last week's show, Jimmy Hart's First Family will meet Dutch Mantel, Bill Dundee, and Tracy Smothers in the main event. Also, The Fabulous Ones will face the Gilberts in a rematch. "But first, let's welcome the NWA world light heavyweight champion Jerry Brisco!" Lance said the fans will be delighted to learn that Brisco will be in action next week to defend his title for the Memphis fans. Jerry began to speak when he was interrupted by the returning BRIAN CHRISTOPHER. Brian brought up his winning that light heavyweight title in early 2021, and rhetorically asked who he beat to get the title shot ( hint: it was Jerry in a gauntlet match...that I wanted Brisco to win....). "Okay, you got me," Jerry replied. "But now I'm the champ and let's not play dumb. I suppose what you want to do is challenge me, former champ to champ, to come fight you next week. Well as far as I'm concerned, if matchmaker Eddie Marlin agrees, it's a deal." PG-13 defeated Dave Sawyer and Bo Brown in a one sided affair.JC and Wolfie made quick work of the (fictional) enhancement talent. They won with ease with the HOOD DROP. Fabulous Jackie Fargo came out to say he's back and he'll be in the corner of Steve and Stan, The Fabulous Ones. But before we go to the ring, let's take a look at Steve and Stan training for the match in this special music video! THE FABULOUS ONES defeated The Gilberts when Stan pinned Tommy. The Gilberts took the fight to Steve and Stan at the bell, but the Fabs gave it right back to them. In the end the action spilled to the floor where Tommy tried to cheap shot Stan, but was blocked by JACKIE FARGO. Stan took over and tossed Tommy back into the ring, where he hit a SAVATE KICK for the pin. Ravishing Randy Rose pinned Frogman LeBlanc with the ROSE BOMB.A win is a win and Rose will take them as he gets them. Frogman actually got some offense in this match, but Rose tossed him to the floor, delivered a brutal body slam, then put him back in the ring for the finisher. After the bout Rose spoke with Lance. He said he's tossing his name in the hat to be part of the upcoming battle royal for a title shot at Austin Idol. While the others fight for attention he's going to sneak in the back door and win the whole thing. Lance was skeptical but said he applauds the confidence of Randy Rose.
Dutch Mantell, Tracy Smothers, and Bill Dundee won by disqualification over Austin Idol, Lanny Poffo, and Ox Baker when Jimmy Hart interferred.AGAIN Hart got involved in the match during a six-man melee, attempting to hit Mantell over the back with his cane. Dutch avoided it and Hart hit Ox instead. The referee called for the bell and awarded the bout to the fan favorites. After the match Jimmy and his men went over to Lance to plead their case. Jimmy said if anyone should be disqualified it should be Mantell's team because Ox was the only one who got hit with a foreign object, baby. He said he slipped on the apron and that's the only way he ended up in the ring in the first place, then he went to swat a really big fly that was on Dutch's shoulder (and he HATES flies, baby!) and hit Ox instead. EDDIE MARLIN appeared and said the only accident was allowing Hart at ringside in the first place. He said that will be remedied next week, when Hart's men will face Dundee, Smothers, and Mantell in individual matches and Jimmy will be barred from ringside.
Hart and his men protested like wild as the fans drown them out with cheers. And the show went off the air.

World Championship WrestlingSaturday at 6:05PM ESTwith your hosts Tony Schiavone and David Crockett Tony and David did the show open and then introduced Manny Fernandez and Jimmy Valiant. Tony recounted the events of last week that ended with a brawl between Manny and US champ Tommy Rich. Jimmy said it's like his brothers fighting and he needs to see it stop. Jimmy told Manny his temper is out of control. Manny said he intends to prove once and for all where his loyalty lies tonight when he takes out Grappler #1 the same way he stopped Grappler #2, so he can't get involved in the US title main event with Tommy and Spoiler. BUT, when- not IF, but WHEN- Manny becomes the number one contender to the US title Tommy won't have any excuses when he loses. Redd Dogg The Black Russian (w/Ivan Koloff) defeated Mike Jackson in two moves.Jackson gave Dogg a few forearms at the bell, but Dogg shook them off. He countered with an STO and the BLACKOUT for the pin. Redd Dogg and Ivan went over to talk to Tony and David. Dogg said after just one week the results are clear: Russian training methods are superior and the Black Russian is going to knock people on their backs like a stiff drink. Ivan took over, saying he has a match with Ranger Ross later and he will dominate that match of course, then it's on to shutting up Patriot and Magnum TA. And if they have anything to say about it, they can see Nikita! Raging Bull Manny Fernandez won by disqualification over Grappler (w/JJ Dillon)This was a really good match, JJ Dillon once again got involved at the end. The combatants were fighting on the floor when Dillon attacked Manny from behind. Grappler and JJ were beating on Manny when Jimmy Valiant ran out for the save. Jimmy went to help Manny up off of the arena floor, but Manny jumped up and nearly hit Jimmy with a big right hand. He stopped just short and apologized profusely to Jimmy when he realized what almost happened. The two shook hands and bro hugged it out before leaving. Ivan Koloff (w/Nikita) defeated Ranger Ross (w/The Patriot) via RUSSIAN SICKLE.Nikita's presence seemed to distract Ross. He started strong, then turned his attention to ringside. That's when Ivan took over and didn't look back, hitting the Russian Hammer before finishing with the SICKLE. After the match there was yet another face to face between Patriot and Nikita. There was some shoving, but a half dozen referees and officials quickly intervened and got the two men separated. Rock Riddle came out to talk with Tony and David. He said John Mantell couldn't handle them, Eddie Gilbert couldn't get the job done, but now Rock Riddle has taken over the reigns of the uncontrollable Moondogs and he will take them to the top. Riddle contended that he has the secret to beating the Road Warriors and it will only take one fair chance to prove it. Commissioner Bill Watts came out at that point and said Riddle is in the right place at the right time then, because the Road Warriors are in the building and they WANT to prove Riddle wrong in the ring, right here and now. Riddle hemmed and hawed and said his men needed time to prepare, but Watts insisted it's now or never so the Moondogs headed to the ring to await the champs. The Road Warriors won by disqualification over The Moondogs (w/Rock Riddle). With Riddle calling the shots from ringside, The Moondogs pushed the champs to the limit. They had Hawk in trouble until the hot tag out to Animal. The Warriors set up the DOOMSDAY DEVICE, but Riddle jumped on the apron to cause the distraction. The action spilled to the floor where the Moondogs once again used the bones they carry to the ring as weapons and drew the DQ. Number one contender to the NWA world title Bob Backlund came out to speak. Tony said the title match is imminent and promoters are vying to host the big title match between Bob Backlund and Nick Bockwinkel. Bob said it's an honor, but it's one he has humbly earned. Bob recounted his collegiate career and his various accolades in the pro ranks and said the NWA title is the major achievement he hopes to add to cement his position as the top wrestler in the sport today. Wildfire Tommy Rich pinned The Spoiler (w/JJ Dillon) to defend the United States championship.A fantastic title match was had in the main event of the program. Rich came on strong first, then Spoiler shut him down and took over for an extended period. Rich fought back, but Spoiler kept reversing him. In the end Rich hit a THESZ PRESS for the pin. Following the bout Masked Superstar II stepped over the top rope and stared down at Rich. Rich reared back with the US belt in hand as Superstar threatened to attack, but Manny Fernandez ran in with a steel chair and whacked Superstar in the back repeatedly until it knocked him out of the ring. Rich and Manny had a staredown and Manny said "no excuses when I beat you. No excuses."
And we're off the air with Manny and Rich standing center ring.

First time reading your fed. I like the way you have things out format wise. Easy to read and just enough information to get what is going on. Nice to see the use of Redd Dogg. I remember him from watching ECW Fan Cams back in the day. Happy to see Ivan Koloff get a win here. I need to start using him in my fed. I like Tommy Rich retaining his strap. Good stuff here!

Good stuff here! ........ Thanks, Lee. Over the years (AND years) of doing this I've kind of distilled it down to easily digestible format. I COULD do detailed match writeups and full interviews, but honestly most people don't have time or interest to read all of that. Guys like Redd Dogg are fun because they don't have a completely established identity in most fans' eyes . Of course he was a tough guy and good wrestler, he was Rodney Mack in WWE ECW, but who was that even? Here I can really have fun with him and there's no expectation of what he "should" be doing.

WORLDWIDE!with Bob Caudle and Gordon Solie Gordon: "Welcome to another edtion of NWA Worldwide. We've got a huge main event tonight when we go to Los Angeles where two of the greats square off in Harley Race and Lou Thesz." Bob: "But first, it's down to Tampa for an exciting tag team match beterrn the American Males and the Midnight Express." The Midnight Express beat American Males when Dennis pinned Riggs. The Males started with the advantage and had Bobby bouncing all over the ring. Things settles down and a nice back and forth match ensued. In the end Dennis used the FACE FIRST LEG SWEEP on Riggs to get the pin. Gordon: "The Sunshine state is a hotbed of great tag team action and that match was no exception." Bob: "And now on to Texas, where Tully Blanchard has come home and hopes to establish himself as a top contender to Don Curtis' Texas TV title. He will find that no easy feat as he meets the challenge of Cowboy Scott Casey." Tully Blanchard won by countout over Scott Casey.Casey had things going his way after about five minutes of action when he threw Tully into the corner. He charged and Tully moved. Casey hit the ring post hard with his shoulder and fell out of the ring. Casey was hurt and could not get back in the ring to meet the referee's ten count. Bob: "Sometimes one tactical error is all it takes to lose the match, espccially when you're wrestling the likes of Tully Blanchard." Gordon: "Indeed. And now we take a look at footage of a controversial title defense for the NWA ladies champion Jazz." Candi Devine won by disqualification over NWA women's champion Jazz.Candi began the match with a sneak attack. Jazz fought back and threw her out of the ring. At that point the champ laid on a beating, did not heed the referee's warnings, and got herself disqualified. After the match Candi spoke at ringside with BILL APTER. She said she should be declared the winner and new champion tonight because Jazz got herself intentionally disqualified. Jazz came over and said she got disqualified because she lost her temper at Candi attacking her before the bell. But it's a mistake she won't make twice. Next time she won't turn her back and she won't get disqualified because she's going to ask the championship committee to put them in a rematch under no disqualification rules to finish this once and for all and so Jazz doesn't have to look at Candi's face again. Candi slapped Jazz and the two fought to the back. Bob: "A volatile situation for sure. Next we head up to Minnesota where the duo of Red Bastien and Billy Red Lyons face Playboy Buddy Rose and Pretty Boy Doug Somers." Lyons and Bastien defeated Rose and Somers when Lyons put out Somers with the SLEEPER.The popular duo overcame the cheating tactics of Rose and Somers to come out on top after just under ten minutes of action. Lyons slapped on the sleeper and Bastien kept Rose from getting involved to break it up. Gordon: "Rose has voiced his aspirations of holding the world tag team championship, but I suspect he may need a new partner because he and Sherri have their work cut out for them with Somers on board." Bob: "Harsh words, Gordon. But also probably true. And now the main event we've all been wating for, we go to LA for Thesz and Race!" Harley Race pinned Lou Thesz after a PILEDRIVER in a classic. The match was pretty much everything you'd expect from the names involved. It started slow with holds and counters and once the feeling out process was over both men used everything they had to try to get the win. In the end Race Lou crashing hard to the floor and when Thesz stepped back in Race jumped and used the piledriver for the pin.
