Jim and Goron did the show open and went right to the opening contest.

Bull Ramos (w/Johnny Mantell) beat Keith Steinborn.
Ramos wasted no time here. Keith got some token offense at the start, but Ramos shut him down and won with his APACHE ELBOW DROP.

After the bout Ramos spoke with Gordon and Jim. He said everyone saw his foot was under the rope last week in his match with McDaniel, so nothing is settled. Ramos told Ross that Wahoo can brag all he wants, but he knows he didn't beat the REAL Chief, Bull Ramos. Gordon said Wahoo is not a hard man to find and he's sure McDaniel will not back down from a rematch. 

Kevin Sullivan and One Man Gang came out to talk. Sullivan wished Ramos well in his endeavor to dismantle Wahoo. He said they've clashed before and the wrestlin world would be a better place without McDaniel. Ramos left and Sullivan began to talk about Vader. He said you'd think he would be angry about what happened last week when Vader attacked him. But you'd be wrong, because it is just proof that the machinations of the Gamemaster have unleashed an unstoppable force on the world of pro wrestling. He said that once he can harness that power nothing will stand in the way of the Dungeon Of Doom. 

Kevin Sullivan (w/One Man Gang) beat Tiger Conway Jr.
Gang was at ringside for backup but Sullivan didn't need it. He stormed the ring and got the early advantage. Conway had a flurry of offense, but Sullivan was focused and maniacal en route to a pinfall victory after a vicious piledriver.

Piper's Pit featured Roddy talking with Rock Riddle and Disco Inferno. Piper noted that "Mrs Herman Munster" wasn't with them today, speaking of Chyna. Rock said Chyna is on a special mission and she'll be back when she is needed. Rock began to sing the praises of his "television champion" Disco Inferno when Jacqueline entered the scene. She said Rock runs his mouth, but he forgets what happened a few weeks ago when she pinned his shoulders to the mat. She threatened to do the same thing to Disco Inferno is he has the guts to face her. Disco said the television champion doesn't get in the ring with just anyone, especially not "some broad off the streets". Jackie ran at Disco, but Roddy intercepted her and told Disco and Rock to "beat feet" before he decides to help her. 

Big Van Vader beat Mark Fleming in three moves.
Vader wasted no time grounding Fleming and then finishing him off with the POWER BOMB.

Jim Ross valiantly tried to get words from Vader down the aisle after the match, but Vader brushed him aside and kept walking to the back. 

Gordon was in the broadcast area with Don and Rocky Kernodle. Don said he heard Williams and Gordy have come from Japan and they think they'll walk right into the territory and get a title shot. He said those matches are earned, not given, and the road goes through the Kernodle brothers. Rocky said he knows they have a rep in Japan as multiple time champions, but Don and Rocky Kernodle want to get back into contention and there's no better way to do it than to beat Williams and Gordy right now.

Steve Williams and Terry Gordy beat the Kernodle Brothers in a close contest.
Don and Rocky gave Williams and Gordy all they could handle. It looked like Rocky had a pin on Williams, but Doc kicked out right before the three count. WIlliams fought back and in the end it was a double football tackle by Doc and Gordy that got them the pin in about 12 minutes.

Bill Apter had Paul Orndorff and Bobby Heenan in the Hot Seat for a special pre-taped interview. Apter detailed the attacks and outright violence Paul has been perpetrating as of late in his attempts to get the attention of Macho Man Randy Savage, including interrupting his title match with One Man Gang in Baltimore and touching off a brawl that went all over the ringside area. Paul said everyone has seen him pick apart every challenge in the ring and do what even Nick Bockwinkel couldn't when he sent Bob Backlund packing from the territory. Now it's time for him to wear the crown as THE world heavyweight champion and he'll do whatever it takes to get there. Bobby said you can't ignore what Nick Bockwinkel did as world champion, perhaps the greatest ever, but in the end he lost to Savage and that's something Paul Orndorff will not do. He has Paul laser focused on winning the title back for the Heenan family and doing whatever it takes to keep it for as long as he wants. 

Sgt Slaughter pinned Nikita Koloff in the main event.
A war of a match was finally ended when Sarge hit the backbreaker drop and got the surprise pin before UNcle Ivan could interfere.

After the match Sarge spoke. He said he's tired of the Russians popping their heads up every so often complaining about this country and how they are treated unfairly and how they would take over with a fair chance. He said he just gave Nikita his fair chance and in the end it was Sarge with his hand raised. He then turned his attention to the United States title and Rick Rude. Slaughter told Jim Ross he figures there's not a better representative of this country than GI Joe himself Sgt Slaughter and he needs to be the one to shut up Rick Rude and show him that his arrogance and cockiness are not the American way. He then told the fans to end the show by standing and saluting the flag of the United States Of America. "And that's an order!"

Brad Armstrong pinned Rip Rogers in a solid opening contest.
Really great action to start the show. Rip had his openings, but couldn't seal the deal as Brad rallied and used his RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP for the pin.

Ranger Ross defeated Cuban Assassin with a top rope bodypress.
The rivalry continues with each now having a win over the other. These two match up well and haven't had a bad match together in three encounters (1 draw and one win apiece). 

Harley Race pinned Mike Rotundo after a PILEDRIVER.
Rotundo took it to Race early with a series of arm drags, but Race slowed things down and gained control. Rotundo did not go down easy, getting a near fall after a hard standing dropkick. Race eventually established dominance and put him away in about ten minutes.

Wahoo McDaniel and Tommy Rich beat Bull Ramos and Johnny Mantell.
Intense rivalry here, as it was on from the opening bell until the end. Hard hitting between Wahoo and Ramos, chops and punches galore. In the end Ramos missed a charge in the corner and Wahoo rolled him up for the pin. 

Ravishing Rick Rude defeated Thunderbolt Patterson to defend the United States title.
Rude is gearing up for a challenge from Sgt Slaughter, but he didn't overlook this big title match with Patterson. T-bolt had a few opportunities to put Rude away, but Rick slipped out the back door and hit the RUDE AWAKENING to get the pin in about fifteen minutes.

Jim Ross and Gordon did the show open and were joined by Wahoo McDaniel. McDaniel said he heard Ramos talking last week and he didn't see any reason to keep him waiting. He promised to leave no doubt who the winner is this time and then he's got his eyes on the United States championship and anyone who gets in his way getting there. 

Wahoo McDaniel defeated Bull Ramos in another great match.

They just beat each other up again. Ramos hit the APACHE ELBOW but Wahoo kicked out. McDaniel went on to get the pin with a big TOMAHAWK CHOP. 

United States champion Rick Rude and Bobby Heenan came out to talk. Heenan said McDaniel looks like he's the next fool to step up and challenge his man Rick Rude, but just like Slaughter is going to find out at the next Pro Wrestling USA supershow, it's easier said than done. Rick Rude took over and said he already beat the deadbeat in the skirt and Private Slaughter is next. He said Piper's family must be ashamed to have to show their faces knowing their skirt wearing old man is out here every week making a fool of himself.

That brought out Rowdy Roddy Piper. He said Rude just made it personal, and he knows Sarge has the next US title match, and he may strip Rude of his title, but Roddy wants to strip Rude of his last shred of dignity tonight. Heenan told Piper he's not a matchmaker and there's nothing in it for the the US champ. Piper said he'd make it interesting: if Rude beats him, he never gets another US title match again. But if Piper wins he gets Rude in a cage down the line. COmmissioner Bill Watts made a rare appearance and said it sounds like a great idea. But he has one better: Bobby Heenan is banned from ringside tonight and if ANYONE interferes they will be suspended for 60 days.

The Fantastics beat Bob Cook and Keith Steinborn.
A nice welcome back to TV tpye match for Bobby Fulton and Tommy Rogers. They showcased their best stuff and Bobby pinned Cook after the PRESS SLAM/SPLASH tag team finisher.

Gordon spoke with Tommy and Bobby after the match. He welcomed them back to the territory and Bobby thanked him before changing the subject to the American Males. He said these guys started out running around acting like a second rate version of the Fantastics, but now they've shown their real colors and their real egos. Tommy added that they've met once in the ring and it ended with the Males running for the locker room. Next time they won't get away so lucky. 

One Man Gang (w/Kevin Sullivan) beat Sam Houston.
Sam gave it his all, but Gang was just on another level this time and shut him down inside of four minutes. The 747 SPLASH led to the pin.

Jim Ross welcomed World Heavyweight champion Randy Savage. Macho Man said he's going to be watching the next match real closely because he just found out that the no good Mr so-called Wonderful has the title match at the Pro Wrestling USA supershow. He finally gets his wish and it's going to be a wish he will wish he never made! Savage said Orndorff can have his cup of coffee in the big time but the cream rises to the top and Randy Savage is the cream of the crop. 

Mr Wonderful Paul Orndorff destroyed Mike Jackson.
Orndorff attacked at the bell and Jackson didn't stand a chance. A PILEDRIVER put him away inside of a minute.

After the match Paul flipped the sweat from his brow in Macho Man's direction, picked up Jackson, and set him up for a second piledriver. Macho Man would have none of it and hit the ring to brawl with Orndorff. Macho was in control until an eye rake by Orndorff. Paul pulled back and went to clothesline Randy, but Savage ducked and sent Orndorff over the top rope with a backdrop. Heenan collected his man off the floor and led him to the locker room. 

Bill Apter was joined by The Rock N Roll Express in the Apter Chat segment of the show. Ricky and Robert talked about all of the challenges in the NWA and how they are ready for anyone and anything. They were interrupted by Steve Williams and Terry Gordy. WIlliams said they weren't here to cause trouble, but they are here to inform them that if they want a real challenge Gordy and Williams are ready and waiting for a shot at the Pro Wrestling USA supershow. Ricky got in his face and said as far as he's concerned the bigger they are, the harder they fall, and Gordy and Williams are going to make a real loud noise when they go "splat" after a double dropkick. 

Rowdy Roddy Piper beat Rick Rude in a non-title match.
With Heenan barred from ringside it was an even contest. Rude was hammering away on Roddy, but Piper would not quit. He came back and slapped on a SLEEPER to get the win in about ten minutes and guarantee himself a cage match with Rude at a later date.

Rocky Kernodle upset Ox Baker with a CROSS BODY BLOCK.
Ox just couldn't figure out the younger Kernodle brother on this occasion. He'd get a string of offense going, then get flummoxed by Rocky's agility. The end came in about five minutes when Rocky fought out of a nerve hold, hit a pair of dropkicks, then used the cross body for the pin.


American Males beat Scott Casey and George South.
Nice win for the arrogant duo of Bagwell and Riggs. Casey gave them some trouble, but in the end Bagwell pinned South with a YELLOWJACKET SUPLEX.

Wildfire Tommy Rich defeated The Spoiler.
Big time match between a pair of guys fighting to get back into title contention. Spoiler had the BIONIC CLAW locked on at one point, but Tommy fought back and ended up getting the pin with a THESZ PRESS in about ten minutes. 

Rock Riddle brought out his self-proclaimed television champion Disco Inferno. Rock said Disco is doing everyone a favor tonight by appearing at a non-televised event when everyone knows there should be lights and cameras on him at all times. Rock said the star power cannot be contained in a backwater town like Norfolk. Disco spoke and said he wants to make it special for them, and he knows there's nobody in the back who can touch him in the ring, so he issued an open challenge to anyone in the locker room to come out and face him. But he was not prepared for BIG VAN VADER.

Big Van Vader demolished Disco Inferno.
This was the kind of match I was looking for. Disco backed into the corner, pleaded, tried to run, but got caught. Vader tossed him into the corner and used a hammering forearm assault. A running body avalanche set up the RELEASED POWER BOMB and the win inside a minute.

Vader stomped away as angrily as he stomped his way to the ring. Rock jumped in the ring to help his man to his feet. Riddle got on the mic and reminded fans that since this match wasn't on TV the title was not on the line, and Disco is still YOUR world television champion. Disco stumbled around and waved to the fans, telling them, "thank you very much. You're a beautiful audience" in Elvis fashion as they booed and jeered. 

Harley Race pinned Hacksaw Jim Duggan.
Another strong brawl, but again Race pulls out the pinfall victory despite Duggan's best effort. Hacksaw once again survived a PILEDRIVER, but the VERTICAL SUPLEX knocked the wind out of him and allowed Race the chance to get the pin.

Gordon and Jim opened the show and were joined by Kevin Sullivan and his Dungeon Of Doom: One Man Gang, Missing Link, Ox Baker, and Eric The Red. Sullivan said everything is going according to plan. Vader has been unleashed and is just waiting to be brought into the fold, the territory is in chaos, and the machinations of the Dungeon Of Doom and the evil one are the cause. But the weak links have to be cut away or the chain will break, and there is one weak link in the Dungeon that must be dealt with. Sullivan turned to Ox and began chastising him for losing to a "low down, dirty Kernodle brother" in Norfolk. Ox began to try to explain himself but was immediately jumped and beat down by the other members of the Dungeon. Sullivan finally called his army off and said Ox was no longer a part of the team and he is lucky he is still breathing. Sullivan led his army away as Jim and Gordon tried to help Ox to his feet. 

Mike Rotundo won by disqualification over Rip Rogers.
Rip really poured on the offense early, but could not put away Rotundo. Mike fought back, but Rip took over again and the bout went to the floor after about six minutes. Rip slammed Mike on the floor and began two hand choking him as the referee came out of the ring to try to stop him. Rip pushed the ref and kept on with his assault until more referees and officials came out to pull him away. 

Jim and Gordon were joined by Bobby Heenan and Paul Orndorff. Heenan said they are counting the days to Pro Wrestling USA and Mr Wonderful fulfilling his destiny by becoming the new world heavyweight champion. Orndorff said nobody has been able to touch him since he got here and Savage is just an inconvenience that needs to be dealt with. He continued that Savage jumped him last week like he did because he's scared and he knows he can't win one on one and face to face. But Orndorff vowed to do what Nick Bockwinkel could not and that is beat Savage and bring some dignity and respect back to the Bobby Heenan Family. 

Rocky Kernodle (w/Don Kernodle) pinned Bob Cook.
Cook gave him a challenge, but Kernodle got the pin inside four minutes after a cross body block.

After the match Missing Link and One Man Gang attacked the Kernodle brothers. They brawled until security pulled Gang and Link off of the Kerndoles and Sullivan directed his team to leave.

Don and Rocky went over to Gordon and Jim. Don said if the Dungeon Of Doom wants a fight they can have one later tonight if Watts will approve it. Commissioner Bill Watts came out and said he'd love to see Link and Gang act so tough face to face instead of jumping someone from behind, so the match is made.

Cuban Assassin pinned Ranger Ross.
The rivalry continues to build as these guys trade wins. This time it was Cuban Assassin coming out on top after a FIDEL'S BACKBREAKER and his feet on the ropes for leverage to get the pin.

Bill Apter welcomed Sgt Slaughter in the Hot Seat interview segment. Sarge said Rick Rude is on the ropes and come Pro Wrestling USA he'll be knocked down and out for good when Sgt Slaughter takes the US title and makes it the people's championship. Sarge promised that when he wins the title he will dedicate it to the people of the United States Of America and fight all threats to this nation, both foreign and domestic.

A very good tag team match. In the end Bobby pinned Riggs after the PRESS SLAM/SPLASH tag team finisher.

Roddy Piper was doing the intro for Piper's Pit when he was interrupted by Rock Riddle, Disco Inferno, and Chyna. Roddy threw his hands up and sighed "you again" before Rock took the mic to speak. Rock said he and his proteges have done nothing but bring entertainment to this place and they have gotten nothing but hate for it. Rock explained that Disco Inferno is YOUR television champion and comes out to bring smiles to faces, but people only want to boo and hate. He said Chyna is YOUR intergender champion but can't even get a serious challenge. Roddy stopped him and said maybe they should take on all challengers next week to see if they can defend those so-called titles, or if it's just a blowhard trying to get attention for his second rate talent. Disco got in Roddy' face while Chyna backed him up. Disco said that sounds like a great idea because he can take on anyone in the world under Disco television rules. Roddy said he doesn't know what Disco is talking about, but he'd better talk about three steps back or he'll be eating teeth. Rock had heard enough and gathered his crew. He said they'd be back next week to show that they're made of. 

One Man Gang and Missing Link won by disqualification over Don and Rocky Kernodle when OX Baker interfered.
the Kernodles had things in hand when Sullivan caused a distraction. Gang and Link took over and were in charge when OX BAKER ran out and attacked with a chair. He took out Link and Gand and went after Sullivan, who ran to the back to save himself.

After the match Ox went over to help Don and Rocky and the trio stood in the ring as fans began to cheer "Ox! Ox! Ox!"

Ross and Solie opened the show and were joined by contenders to the tag team championship Steve Williams and Terry Gordy. Doc began bad mouthing the Rock N Roll Express and telling what they were going to do to them at the Pro Wrestling USA supershow when Ricky and Robert arrived. Ricky said they're all four here so they might as well not wait and they could do it in the ring right here, right now. 

Rock N Roll Express beat Steve Williams and Terry Gordy in a 4 star non-title match.
Wow, I'm jut giving this away on free TV. They went about twenty minutes and Doc and Gordy beat the daylights out of Ricky and Robert, but could not get the pin. The Express kept firing back and Robert finally pinned Gordy to gain some mjor momentum heading into their title defense.

After the match Doc and Bamm Bamm talked to Gordon to save face. Gordy said that was okay because the title weren't' on the line and they took a whole lot out of Ricky and Robert. So when the title match happens it will be easy pickings because they already beat the Rock N Rolls half senseless. Williams said those idiots walked right into the trap and they don't even know it yet.

After that Rip Rogers came out to talk about his match with Mike Rotunda from the last show. Rip said Rotunda was in the wrong place at the wrong time because Rip Rogers has been disrespected since he got here and it's time for that to change. He pulled a can of pink hairspray and said since everyone here wants to act like a sissy he's going to paint their hair pink until he gets everyone's attention.

Rip Rogers defeated George South with THE HUSTLE.
South tried, but Rip picked him apart and got the win inside of three minutes.

After the match Rip went to paint South's hair pink, but Mike Rotunda ran out to chase him away. Rip left and Mike stayed for his upcoming match.

Mike Rotunda won by disqualification over Cuban Assassin when Rip Rogers interferred.
Mike went for an early pin when Rip Rogers jumped in the ring and attacked. 

After the bell, wouldn't you know it, Cuban Assassin held Rotunda while Rip Rogers spray painted Rotunda's hair pink. 

After the scene was cleared Jim Ross was joined by Rock Riddle, Chyna, and Disco Inferno. Rock said he's here with his proteges to show exactly what they're made of and to prove they are the champions they say they are. Disco Inferno produced a newly made television title belt and said he's going to the ring to see who is man enough to show up to challenge the champ. Meanwhile, Big Van Vader stormed the interview area and demanded that everyone leave because he had something to say. Instead Chyna got in his face and slapped him. A dozen members of the staff and security immediately jumped in and dragged Chyna away. An angered Vader took to the ring t attack Disco instead.

Big Van Vader decimated Disco Inferno and got the easy pin.
Second match, same as the first. Vader just picked him apart and got the pin after a big splash.

After the match Vader took Disco's television title belt and challenged Kevin Sullivan and his Dungeon Of Doom to come take it.

In Piper's Pit, Roddy was getting ready to interview undercard wrestler Bob Cook when Rick Rude burst onto the set and hit Roddy from behind with a steel chair. He took down Cook with a quick knee lift to the midsection and a Rude Awakening, then continued the beating on Piper. Rude grabbed the mic and said at Pro Wrestling USA he's going to defend his title against Sgt Slaughter, then he's getting in a cage with Piper at a later date and nothing will save Roddy from the ultimate beatdown. 

Before the main event Gordon talked with Wahoo McDaniel. Wahoo said he's going to be paying close attention to Ox Baker against Eric The Red because once again we've got a bunch of bad sports out here taking cheap shots and trying to gain an advantage by any underhanded means necessary. Wahoo said he knows what Sullivan and his men are made of, so he knows they'll try something and they're going to be in for a surprise if they do. 

Ox Baker pinned Eric The Red in a bloodbath between former partners. 
Eric used that big bone he carries within seconds of the opening bell, busting open Ox early. Eric kept attacking the forehead with bites and knees and elbows until the crimson mask was firmly in place on the face of Baker. Ox came back and they had a really long, hard hitting match until Ox floored Eric with the HEART PUNCH for the pin.

On cue, Sullivan led Link and One Man Gang down to the ring to attack. They were met by Wahoo. Ox and McDaniel held them at bay until the numbers advantage was too much. Suddenly Big Van Vader burst onto the scene and took out the Dungeon Of Doom, finishing by clotheslining One Man Gang over the top rope. He turned to Wahoo and Ox, but Wahoo was able to talk him down as the show went off the air.

Mark Fleming won by submission over Johnny Mantell.
Fleming grinded out a rare win here. Mantell didn't offer much offense as Fleming wore him down with knee bars and strikes before finally putting him away with the STF.

Sam Houston pinned Bill White.
Sam apparently decided to make up for Fleming taking so much time in the opener, as he hit the BULLDOG inside of a minute to get the quick win. 

Mike Rotunda and Ranger Ross beat Rip Rogers and Cuban Assassin.
Rip and the Cuban tried to jump start the match as the ring announcer was doing his thing, but the good guys reversed it and Rotunda slammed Rip's head on the timekeeper's table, then tossed him into the ring to get things started. The bout went back and forth for about ten minutes until Mike used the AIRPLANE SPIN for the pin on Rogers as Ross held Cuban Assassin at bay.

Chief Wahoo McDaniel won by disqualification over Missing Link.
Link absorbed a lot of punishment in the early minutes, but Wahoo could not put him away. Link got his opening and used his head as a blunt force weapon in every way possible: running, standing, and falling head butts that nearly knocked McDaniel silly. Eventually the action went to the floor where a desperate Link, unable to pin Wahoo clean, grabbed a chair and brought it down on the head of the Chief. Rotunda, Ross, and Houston rushed out to chase Link away before and more damage could be done.

Two men who are no stranger to each other wrestling for nothing more than to climb up the ladder of title contention. They went toe to toe with neither backing down for over twenty minutes. Finally Race slipped out the back as Rich tried an airplane spin, hit a back suplex, and followed up with his VERTICAL SUPLEX for a near fall, and then used the PILEDRIVER for the pin.
