Expected Kowalski to make the final, but Adonis continues his impressive tear. Like TTX, I would love to see Dynamite advance... But, I think Brisco will probably win. |

Jack Brisco (9) v. Dynamite Kid (21)
Morgan Dollar calls for the bell and the competitors shake hands. Brisco controls with a double leg and a power slam. Kick to the knee and kneebreaker works the lower leg. Suplex but Kid blocks a double leg takedown with a gut wrench suplex. Kid scales the corner but Brisco slams him to the mat. Brisco with a back suplex and quickly covers Kid 1, 2, ¾ (R3/P2). Tombstone piledriver and a power slam rock the British competitor. Arm drags but Kid counters a double leg attempt with a gut wrench suplex. Snap suplex knocks the wind from Brisco but only gets a one count (R9/P2). Another snap suplex and a knee drop. Whip to the corner and Brisco bounces out with tackle and they crack skulls. Both men regain their feet but Brisco executes a ROLLING REVERSE CRADLE for a two count (R6/P3). Brisco with a gut wrench backbreaker . . . one count only (R12/P4). Powerslam and lateral guillotine. Brisco traps Kid in a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK and advances to the finals (R4/P7).

Figured Jack would take it. Gordy is more likely but I still must cheer for Adonis.

Would love to see Adonis punch his ticket to the final, but I don't think it will matter if it's him or Gordy... Jack B is killing it!

Jack Brisco to win it all.
Tough decision between Gordy and Adonis.
But I have to go with Terry Gordy.

Terry Gordy (15) v. Adrian Adonis (35) Adrian Adonis is not a good mood and takes it out on Morgan Dollar before the bell upsetting the official. Adonis looks impressive with a whip to the corner and kick. Gut wrench backbreaker makes Adonis look like a monster but Gordy avoids a jumping knee smash and then follows with a lariat that nearly kills Adonis. 1, 2, kick out (R9/P2). Adonis is tossed outside and then crawls back in where Gordy traps him in a STF. Gordy misses a smash from the top and Adonis capitalizes with a jumping knee smash and another gut wrench backbreaker. Adonis off the top with a smash to the skull and then GOODNIGHT IRENE. Gordy powers out (R10/P20. Adonis traps Gordy in another GOODNIGHT IRENE. Gordy slumps but grabs the ropes (R5/P3). Adonis goes back to his finisher but Gordy backs him into the corner breaking the GOODNIGHT IRENE (R11/P4). Adonis jumps back onto Gordy again with a GOODNIGHT IRENE but Gordy smashes back against the buckles again to break the hold (R11/P5). Adonis has words for Morgan Dollar again and then mounts the corner . . . slam to the mat! Kick to the knee is blocked by Adonis but his windmill forearms have no impact. Gordy sends Adonis into the ropes and they cross over before Gordy connects with a back elbow. Double knees land and a lariat drops Adonis. Gordy with snap mare and then a charge to the corner but Adonis gets the knees up. Gordy with an elbow and then lifts Adonis for a tombstone. Blocked. Jumping knee smash lands. Back suplex from Adonis. Adonis mounts the corner. Gordy slams him to the mat. Lariat crushes Adonis. Adonis avoids a double knee drop. They go back and forth. Forearm to the chest knocks the breath from Adonis. Adonis blocks a kick and then executes a gut wrench backbreaker. Both men drop to the mat. Back to their feet and Adonis plants Gordy with a back suplex. Gut wrench backbreaker. Another gut wrench backbreaker and Adonis hooks the leg. 1, 2, ¾ (R7/P6). THE FANS CANNOT BELIEVE IT. Adonis wraps on another GOODNIGHT IRENE and earns a spot in the finals (R2/P7). Another big snake eyes finish for Adonis! I just wanted to say thank you once again to Cory Olson , Chad Olson and the entire Legends team for the effort they put into the card creations. Amazing work! Adonis has been absolutely fierce during this tournament... And I would love to see him take the whole ball of wax (especially since I thirst for some personal revenge against the man who took out my Vampire brother in the quarterfinal round)... But, I really cannot see him losing this one... Jack Brisco joins the elite group of Bobo Brazil (x2), Nick Bockwinkel, Road Warrior Hawk, Antonio Inoki (x2), George Hackenschmidt, Randy Savage (co-winner), Rob Van Dam (co-winner), Steve Williams and The Destroyer by winning the 11th annual Legends tournament... Let 'em roll!

Those dice love Adonis and I for one am not complaining though I have to pick Jack in the finals. Still cheering for you though Adrian.
