I think the goal to get more promoters "rolling the dice" is something to shoot for for GalactiCon. I would think the best way to do this is to have some "informal" sessions on Zoom and pullup COTGOnline and play. At G-Con I rolled my on dice for the first match, but it wasn't smooth and we went from there with having one person roll all the matches. I am definitely up for getting together... On the consistent language...yep, we need to come up with a lexicon and publish it here as "Official Filsinger Games Speak to be used at conventions." And Finally, I would definitely pay a few more dollar to do a "virtual meet and greet" with the guest with an option to get something signed. My preference would be to have an option to get a Filsinger Games card singed by said guest. The guest thing...that’s interesting.

I have no idea how to organize a zoom call but I would be more than glad to assist with helping people learn how to roll dice, use the charts and the choices. Once you've done it a few times, it becomes pretty reflexive to the point you have to make sure you're still doing it in official matches (for instance in my own matches, I don't bother clicking on choice C or whatnot, I just roll the die and see if it succeeds)

If anybody wants to do and informal Online session or a few I would be more than happy to set up a Zoom and help out.

I agree it would be great to have more sessions to get folks more used to playing in the online system. If the road block is a zoom account let me know. I can't say I will always be able to play, but happy to utilize my FG zoom account to get folks together.

In the tournaments I was in, everything was extremely well run. And I'd rather have a moderator roll the dice 🎲 just in the interest of time. Thanks everyone!

I felt like these virtual cons get smoother and smoother each time. Panels: It felt like asking the questions in the chat let the panels speak openly and created less 'talk over' by the attendees as there's no way to que up or raise a hand and be called on, but perhaps have Sam or another MC moderate/compile any live questions and ask it to the panel as it appeared the panel individuals had quite a bit of their time trying to parse the chat for questions creating some awkward dead air. Trivia/Group Activities: Was a lot of fun, even though I did horribly, but it made me realize what my issue was with tournaments. Down time. Sometimes there's a lot of hurry up and wait in the tournament rooms, but everyone is involved and active during this quick trivia style games. Are there other activities that con attendees can do together as opposed to 2 at a time? Pure trivia makes sense, but what if there was one for each of the themes and then possibly 'classic' and 'modern' takes. Also there's other free games out there that could be outside the realm of the game that people can play together like www.geoguessr.com/ Also auctions are a great way to involve everyone actively! Guests: Guest signings and panels make sense. What about a twitch stream, artist room that during the con there could be an artist that took commissions and streamed their sketching process during the course of the con in a separate stream that could be called back to during the con? I don't know, I'm just thinking if there are possible secondary room streams that attendees could check in on if the 'A Stage' isn't necessarily their cup of tea. Essentially multiprogramming like other cons. Matches: Night at the matches as it pertains to Indies and Legends would be a great secondary room as I love what the guys have done over at Uncharted Territories curating some matches and talking over them. They could possibly give some insights on how they build cards for guys and girls and what matches may have influenced their designs of the individuals that are possibly just released or classics from the catalog.

I don't know how it would work or who would do it. But I think a booking panel might be fun. Maybe have a couple of guys with longee running promotions take questions or just a more casual chat about booking philosophies.

I had a blast! I enjoyed talking about Battle Lines and FTR. It’s hard to not accidentally spill stuff once I get talking lol
Really appreciate all the questions. It gets me thinking about different characters and stories etc...it’s a tough balance of wanting to talk all about the sets but not give too much away.
I love the whole set up. There’s prob room for improvement with a few things but overall very clean, a lot of fun,
Many thanks to Todd for all of his hard work setting these things up!

The highlight for me was watching Orrus (forget who had him) go bananas hitting UNSTOPPABLE SLAM over and over and over sparking Tournament Master to give us his incredible Orrus impression screaming “GET OFF MY PLANET!” lololol Something about Orrus being a futuristic crabby old man upset about his planet being invaded is hilarious to me.
