Earth 45 could really be an all-or-nothing event for the Aethrans... Will Spike claim the heavyweight belt? Can TitanPower dethrone the Gladiators as tag champs? Or will everything remain status quo? Lots of exciting possibilities! I agree with your take on this next show. The Gladiators have a lot on the line. I haven't had the time to roll it out yet but hopefully soon.

Galaxian Wrestling Federation - 2088 - New York, USA, Earth 45 - Niagara Tower of Lights
01) Beauty & The Beast defeated AniMen of Andromeda
* A major upset kicked off the show as Beauty & The Beast, Vanity & The Creeper, defeated the AniMen of Andromeda, Incredible Badger & Battering Ram. This was all AniMen who were looking to give their ally, Wolf, some added motivation going into the main event. The turning point came when Badger connected with Burrow Blast on Vanity, but The Creeper broke it up. He dropped an elbow on Badger and rolled Vanity on top for a two count. Vanity then tagged out allowing The Creeper to nail Badger with the Eliminator, a reverse piledriver, for a snake eyes pin.
02) Bomb Squad defeated Society of Death
* The popular Bomb Squad of Commander Sam & Adam Blast had their hands full taking on Mutant & Ghengis Khan of the Society of Death. The heel team controlled the early action, mainly getting the heat on Sam as Blast watched on with a sense of urgence from the ring apron. Once Blast got the tag he exploded and twice hit Megablast on Khan for big near falls. Now it was reversed as the Bomb Squad got the heat on Khan but in this case, they rode it to victory. Blast cut off a save attempt by Mutant as Sam executed Samβs Atomic Drop on Khan for the pin.
03) Pulsar (Titan, Saturn) defeated Death Knight (Altair)
* Pulsar of the Flying Titans faced Death Knight of the Galaxian Royal Court in singles action. The agile Pulsar exploited the lack of speed of Death Knight throughout the match. After a flurry of offense, it was Pulsar delivering a Reverse Piledriver (ch) on Death Knight for the pin just minutes into the match.
04) The Henchmen (with Thantos) defeated Greek Gods
* Another tag team showdown pitted the Greek Gods, Actagon & Proteus, against The Henchmen, Comrade Terror & Executioner. Thantos, βThe Gamemasterβ, was in the corner for The Henchmen giving them added ammunition. The Greek Gods fared well in this bout but ultimately it was Thantos who would factor into the decision. After being tossed to the outside, Proteus was assaulted by Thantos as the referee was distracted separating Actagon and Executioner. Thantos then fed Proteus to Comrade Terror, the legal man, and he promptly hit Atomic Warhead for the pin.
05) Bishop Hell (Parts Unknown) defeated Mesmer (Dimension X)
* Two of the more mysterious newcomers to the GWF in 2088 clashed again as Mesmer, representing the Federation Defense Fighters, faced Bishop Hell of the Galaxian Royal Court. The New York crowd was amped up for this one which saw Bishop Hell go into it with a two-to-one edge in their previous singles matches. Mesmer was hoping to even the odds, but it was the devastating and controversial finisher of Bishop Hell that would decide it. Hellfire came into play at the end, following a battle on the floor, and it was Bishop Hell covering Mesmer to score the pin.
06) Star Warrior & Massif defeated Exo-King & Killer Queen
* Grudge tag team action saw the FDF team of Star Warrior & Massif collide with Exo-King & Killer Queen representing the Galaxian Royal Court. This was a bitter battle with Star Warrior and Massif looking to avenge the injury suffered by Omega, Star Warriorβs father, at the hands of Exo-King and his crew. The FDF team went on a tear at the midpoint as they got the heat on Exo-King leaving a frustrated Killer Queen on the outside looking in. Massif used a debilitating abdominal claw on Exo-King paving the way for Star Warrior to hit Nova Launch for the pin. It was a huge revenge win for Star Warrior and Massif who will team again at Deimos 46 facing Thantos & Invincible Krakan, a preview of the Fatal Four Way top contenders match taking place at Colossal Conflicts 2.
07) GWF Tag Team Titles: Gladiators of AethraΒ© defeated Titan Power to retain the titles
* The team of Titan Power, Lord Nexus & Billy Jo Boxer, slowly climbed into contention and earned this shot at the GWF Tag Team Titles impressively held by the 2nd champions the Gladiators of Aethra, Brute & Massacre. The Gladiators have turned back team after team since winning the belts at Deimos 17 in 2087 and so Titan Power hoped to be the ones to topple them from the throne.
They almost did that early when Nexus hit the Titan Drop on Brute. They also held the edge when the referee was knocked down after a deathjump attack by Nexus. The Gladiators had to fight from behind, especially Brute who took the brunt of the offense while the referee was knocked down. Massacre helped turn it around for the Gladiators by focusing his assault on Boxer. Brute chipped in with a running clothesline for a near fall before Massacre nailed Boxer with the Gladiator Piledriver for the pin. It was a successful version nine title defense for the Gladiators of Aethra. It will be most interesting to see which team steps up next to challenge them as we head towards Colossal Conflicts 2 at Jupiter 50.
08) GWF Heavyweight Title: Spike (Aethra) defeated Wolf (Andromeda 13) to win the title
* The main event saw the 5th GWF Heavyweight Champion Wolf put the title on the line against Spike, the prodigy of the Gladiators of Aethra. After an embarrassing loss to Reptillo of the AniMen, an enraged Spike gained a revenge win on him and rode that into this title challenge to Wolf, one who never backs down from a challenge. The early action was give and take, both men trading blows and executing counters looking to gain an advantage. The momentum turned after a double clothesline out of the corner that saw Spike recover first. That allowed him to execute the Super Destroyer for a big near fall. Spike looked on in disbelief as Wolf rose off the mat but clearly the champion was in peril. Spike pounced on him and hit it again, another big Super Destroyer from the top rope, and this time the result was a pin.
The New York crowd looked on in shock as Spike was crowned the new GWF Heavyweight champion. It was a stunning turn of events that led to this moment and the victorious Spike was joined in the ring by Brute and Massacre, the GWF Tag Team Champions. The three Gladiators held up the gold while a dejected but angry Wolf looked on from ringside. It was an epic moment for the Gladiators, one that was beamed home to Aethra as a proud planet celebrated the crowning of Spike. As for Wolf, he now stands on the outside looking in and one must wonder if there will be a spot open for him in the championship picture heading into Colossal Conflicts 2.

The Aethrans came... And conquered at the Niagara Tower of Lights... What more can be added to that? Just a monumental accomplishment for the Gladiators... Who now stand alone at the top of the GWF... Some would say that's how it was meant to be... Oh, snap!

The Aethrans came... And conquered at the Niagara Tower of Lights... What more can be added to that? Just a monumental accomplishment for the Gladiators... Who now stand alone at the top of the GWF... Some would say that's how it was meant to be... Oh, snap! As big of a fan as I am of The Gladiators, I was not expecting things to wind up this way. I was hoping for Wolf to continue his title reign, but Spike was determined to end it. I also thought that Titan Power could be the ones to dethrone Brute & Massacre but that didn't happen either. I have to admit it's pretty cool seeing all three Gladiators with the gold. I'm on a temporary hold with this as I'm busy gearing up for the year end in my LOW fed but rest assured, I will be back to the GWF asap. Here is the next scheduled card: Galaxian Wrestling Federation - 2088 - Deimos 46 - Intergalactic Arena 01) Greek Gods vs. Beauty & The Beast 02) Adam Blast vs. Death Knight 03) Mesmer vs. Exo-King 04) Pit Viper vs. Mutant 05) Pulsar vs. Splatter 06) Neptunian Space-Croppers vs. Norse Gods 07) Commander Sam vs. Bishop Hell 08) Star Warrior & Massif vs. Thantos & Invincible Krakan

Galaxian Wrestling Federation - 2088 - Deimos 46 - Intergalactic Arena
01) Greek Gods defeated Beauty & The Beast
* The GWF return to Deimos opened with great tag team action as the Greek Gods, Actagon & Proteus, squared off with Beauty & The Beast, Vanity & The Creeper. Both teams were on point here and it could have gone either way, Beauty & The Beast had the advantage scoring near falls with a Cropper Slam by The Creeper and the Pulverizer by Vanity. Proteus was the victim in both instances, but he fought back and made the tag. Actagon rallied the Greek Gods and nearly put Vanity out with the Grecian Sleeper Grip. Vanity was in a bad way now and, with The Creeper held at bay by Actagon, Proteus took it home planting Vanity with the Overhead Toss for the pin.
02) Adam Blast (West Virginia, Earth) defeated Death Knight (Altair)
* Adam Blast, the young protΓ©gΓ© of Commander Sam, had a tough draw in facing the robotic Death Knight representing the Galaxian Royal Court. Death Knight mauled the young Blast most of the way, twice striking him with a loaded glove. Blast had to dig down deep and he rallied late hitting a torpedo dive followed by Megablast for the pin.
03) Mesmer (Dimension X) defeated Exo-King (Altair) by DQ
* The mysterious Mesmer, Master of the Occult, faced Exo-King, the head of the Galaxian Royal Court, in a grudge match. That grudge for the FDF representative was born out of Exo-King and Killer Queen injuring GWF founder Omega, a good friend of Mesmer. This battle was give-and-take most of the way but when Mesmer forged ahead and applied Blackout it led to Killer Queen running in. His interference resulted in Mesmer winning the match by disqualification.
Exo-King and Killer Queen jumped Mesmer post-match until none other than Omega made a surprise return. The GWF fan favorite helped Mesmer clear the ring in spectacular fashion and then grabbed the mic. Omega issued a challenge to Exo-King for a Cosmic Cage Match at Colossal Conflicts 2, a challenge that went unanswered. That is until the Galaxian Commission sent a video relay informing Exo-King that he would have to face Omega in the Cosmic Cage at the big event, but first he and Killer Queen would have to face Omega and Mesmer in tag team action at Deimos 47. Exo-King was not pleased and stormed off as the crowd cheered the announcement.
04) Mutant (Unknown) defeated Pit Viper (Titan, Saturn)
* The numbers game played a role in this match between faction rivals Pit Viper and Mutant. After a brutal struggle, Pit Viper looked to have it won with Venom Blast, but Ghengis Khan interfered breaking up the pin. The referee quickly ejected Khan from ringside allowing the match to continue. Later it was Pit Viper back in control, but Splatter made his way down and provided a timely distraction. That allowed Mutant to catch Pit Viper with a Face Slam (ch) for the pin. It was a bitter defeat for Pit Viper who has a Titan Death Match against Splatter at Colossal Conflicts 2.
05) Splatter (Parts Unknown) defeated Pulsar (Titan, Saturn)
* Splatter remained in the ring after the preceding match, pacing back and forth awaiting his opponent Pulsar of the Flying Titans. The Galaxian Commission intervened with a video announcement that if any of the Flying Titans or Society of Death members were to interfere, they would be suspended for the remainder of 2088. The playing field was set, and it was Pulsar taking the fight to his larger foe. He even caught Splatter with Whirlwind, but he kicked out at two. Splatter had to fend off some fiery attacks from Pulsar but in the end, he nailed him with Hatchet Job and scored the pin.
06) Neptunian Space-Croppers defeated Norse Gods
* The Neptunian Space-Croppers, Renegade & Beast-Rider, had a tough mountain to climb, literally, as they took on the Norse Gods, Man-Mountain & Lightning. They had to strike quickly, and they did as, in the opening moments, Renegade and the 568-pound Man Mountain went down from a double corner collision. Renegade recovered first and managed to apply the Spinecracker, a version of the Camel Clutch, on Man-Mountain. Beast-Rider cut off a save attempt by Lightning as Renegade cinched the hold on scoring a submission victory. It was a huge victory for the Neptunian Space-Croppers who afterward put in a bid to challenge for the GWF Tag Team Titles held by the Gladiators of Aethra.
07) Bishop Hell (Parts Unknown) defeated Commander Sam (USA, Earth)
* The semi-main event saw FDF favorite Commander Sam lock horns with the dangerous Bishop Hell, part of the Galaxian Royal Court. Most expected Sam to provide a difficult challenge but Bishop Hell, the master of Hellfire, came in with a solid game plan. He barely gave Sam room to breathe and used his agility advantage to control the action. Sam managed to kick out after taking a Flying Cross, but Hell kept up his offensive with follow-up deathjump attacks. The finish saw another deathjump attack as Hell connected with a Flying Cross Body Block for the pin. It was an impressive win for Bishop Hell who no doubt will be a force in the GWF heading towards Colossal Conflicts 2 and into 2089.
08) Thantos & Invincible Krakan defeated Star Warrior & Massif
* The main event was a preview of sorts for the big Fatal Four Way Match at Colossal Conflicts 2 where Star Warrior, Massif, Thantos, and Invincible Krakan will all vie for the opportunity to face GWF Heavyweight champion Spike in the main event that night. On this night, however, it was tag team action as FDF favorites Star Warrior & Massif teamed up against the Galaxian Villains pairing of Thantos & Invincible Krakan, the latter being the leader of Society of Death.
This was quite simply put a war between both sides, each hoping to attain a momentum building victory. It came down to a split second a slick counter that saw Thantos score the pin on Star Warrior snake eyes style with a Counter Sunset Flip off the ropes. Star Warrior was upset with himself over the result, but he barely had time to digest it when Wolf, the former GWF Heavyweight champion, rushed the ring and attacked Thantos. That set off a wild brawl between all five men with Wolf pretty much going at everyone. It was a chaotic scene that only ended when a host of GWF officials, referees and fellow wrestlers could pull apart the five men.
The Galaxian Commission is going to have its hands full reviewing this matter as Wolf, being the former GWF Heavyweight champion, may have a claim to getting his rematch at Colossal Conflicts 2. It will be most interesting to see how this whole situation gets handled as momentum builds towards the final event of 2088.

Taking nothing away from the rest of the card (because the action was pulse pounding from start to finish as usual)... That main event really gave the fans something to talk about... Some might argue that Krakan AND Thantos gained a psychological edge over the opposition heading into the four way top contenders dance at CC, but we know the truth... The Gamemaster scored the fall by pinning his nemesis, Star Warrior, so HE is the one with the actual momentum.
And what about Wolf? The Ultimate Savage should not be counted out of the title picture... 2088 is about to reach critical mass, my friend... OWOOOOOOO!

Galaxian Wrestling Federation - 2088 - Deimos 47 - Intergalactic Arena
01) Ghengis Khan (Mongolia, Earth) defeated Reptillo (Andromeda 13)
* The underdog Reptillo, representing the AniMen of Andromeda, faced Society of Death member Ghengis Khan in the opening contest. This was a spirited battle with Reptillo holding his own against the feared Khan. He even survived two near falls on the standing karate kick. Khan took it to Reptillo late, though, and pinned him after delivering Twin Thrust.
02) Executioner (France, Earth) defeated Commander Sam (USA, Earth)
* Two Earth-based rivals clashed next as the popular Commander Sam took on Executioner. This was a tough battle as both looked to build momentum going into the Tag Team Elimination Match between Bomb Squad and The Henchmen at Colossal Conflicts 2. Sam had the momentum late delivering a series of big moves but then Executioner made a quick counter off the ropes. He caught Sam with a Counter Sunset Flip and grabbed the ropes for extra leverage on the pin.
03) Vanity (Nereid, Neptune, with The Creeper) defeated Pulsar (Titan, Saturn) by Count Out
* The popular Pulsar of the Flying Titans faced Vanity, the arrogant Neptunian who was accompanied to ringside by The Creeper. Having The Creeper at ringside paid off early as he ran Pulsar into the ring post out of view of the referee. Pulsar gamely fought back but had trouble gaining momentum. Vanity punished him with moves like the piledriver (ch) before taking it back outside. After a throat drop on the barrier, Vanity scrambled back inside but Pulsar couldnβt beat the count as The Creeper hung on to his leg. Vanity won it via count out in controversial fashion.
04) Greek Gods defeated Bishop Hell & Death Knight
* The Greek Gods, Actagon & Proteus, faced the unique pairing of Bishop Hell & Death Knight, representing the Galaxian Royal Court. Bishop Hell and Death Knight posed a strong challenge to the Greek Gods, including Bishop Hell unleashing the illegal Hellfire on Proteus for a big near fall. No one knows how Proteus kicked out of that, but he did and managed to make a much needed tag. Actagon nearly put Bishop Hell out with the Grecian Sleeper Grip, but he got a rope break. The Greek Gods staged a strong rally and, after a battle outside the ring, Proteus hit the Overhead Toss on Death Knight to score the pin.
05) Titan Power defeated Norse Gods
* Fantastic tag team action saw Titan Power, Lord Nexus & Billy Jo Boxer, collide with the Norse Gods, Man-Mountain & Lightning. Lord Nexus tested himself against the 568-pound Man-Mountain but often found himself at a disadvantage. The Norse Gods were looking good, using their unique combination of size, power and speed. The turning point came when Man-Mountain took it outside where Lord Nexus would gain control. Nexus battered the big man who barely beat the count out back in. Nexus then took out Lightning as Boxer, who had tagged in, nailed the groggy Man-Mountain with the TKO to score the pin.
06) Comrade Terror (Cygnus) defeated Adam Blast (West Virginia, Earth)
* Adam Blast, the other half of Bomb Squad, faced Comrade Terror, the other half of The Henchmen, in singles action. Terror, the inaugural GWF Heavyweight champion, took sadistic pleasure in working over the young Blast to the point where Commander Sam ran down to ringside late in the match. Blast showed great resiliency, including a shocking kick out after taking the Atomic Warhead, but wound up being busted open. Terror was thrilled at the sight of blood and punished Blast some more. Blast mustered up some resistance, but a second Atomic Warhead prompted Sam to involve himself. That backfired as Terror fended off Sam and hit a third Atomic Warhead on the bloody Blast for the pin.
07) Spike, Massacre & Brute defeated Wolf, Incredible Badger & Battering Ram
* It was all-out war as the AniMen of Andromeda and the Gladiators of Aethra collided in six-man tag team action. Wolf led Incredible Badger & Battering Ram to the ring to face reigning GWF Heavyweight Champion Spike and reigning GWF Tag Team Champions Brute & Massacre. The Gladiators taunted the AniMen team with the title belts, holding them up in triumph and that action particularly perturbed Wolf who now finds himself on the outside looking in at the current championship picture as it concerns Colossal Conflicts 2.
There was nothing pretty about this encounter, both sides trading vicious blows as they attempted to score a notable victory. Spike somehow avoided getting in the ring one-on-one with Wolf, further angering the former GWF Heavyweight champion. Brute and Massacre did a masterful job of controlling the match, homing in on Battering Ram late in the match. A Gladiator Piledriver by Brute took Battering Ram out of it and Spike saw his opportunity to put it away. As Brute and Massacre fended off Wolf and Incredible Badger, Spike delivered the devastating top rope Super Destroyer on Battering Ram for the pin.
Spike taunted Wolf with the title belt post-match, an action not recommended given the status of Wolf. His blood boiling, Wolf jumped the champion and trapped him in the Savage Face Claw as the AniMen sent Brute and Massacre out of the ring. Spike was in a bad way, and, in desperation, he delivered a low blow to Wolf and bailed out of the ring. Wolf howled in pain but, looking to his left, he saw the title belt and picked it up. Spike had forgotten to grab it and now an angry Wolf had it in his possession.
A beltless and frustrated Spike attempted to take it back, but Wolf chased him off with some help from the AniMen. The Gladiators bailed to the locker room as Wolf clutched the GWF Heavyweight Title, howling in victory this time. This is going to create an interesting situation for the Galaxian Commission as Wolf now has possession of the prize that is going to be contested in the main event of Colossal Conflicts 2.
08) Exo-King & Killer Queen defeated Omega & Mesmer
* A grudge match main event saw the returning Omega and Mesmer, Master of the Occult, face Exo-King & Killer Queen of the Galaxian Royal Court. Omega had just been cleared to return and, already having Exo-King signed to face him in a Cosmic Cage Match at Colossal Conflicts 2, he was looking to inflict some pain here. Omega got off to a hot start and had Exo-King in trouble much to the delight of the crowd. Much of the match centered around Omega bringing the heat to Exo-King who desperately tried to tag out to Killer Queen. Late in the bout, Exo-King caught a break against the aggressive Omega and wound up trapping him in the Death Vise resulting in a snake eyes submission.
The Galaxian Royal Court should have been satisfied with snatching victory from the jaws of defeat, but it did not end there. They trapped the arms of Mesmer in the ropes and forced him to watch another brutal assault on Omega, the founder of the GWF and leader of the FDF. It culminated with Exo-King applying the Death Vise again and using the power of his robotic arms to crush the ribs and back of Omega.
Mesmer finally broke free with an assist from the referee and chased both Exo-King and Killer Queen out of the ring. The damage was done, though, and Omega had to be helped out of the ting, injured by the same men again. It remains to be seen if Omega can compete in the Cosmic Cage match, but Mesmer has offered to replace him if he is not cleared from injury by Colossal Conflicts 2.

Ahhh, yes... The old 'title belt is in my possession and therefore it's mine' angle... A total classic, my friend... Very excited for how things play out!

Ahhh, yes... The old 'title belt is in my possession and therefore it's mine' angle... A total classic, my friend... Very excited for how things play out! The crazy thing is that whole situation came about because I rolled doubles on the pin. I got creative and came up with Wolf grabbing the title, a classic angle as you astutely noted, so now it kicks into gear the direction I was thinking of going in for the title situation once I realized Wolf should get his title rematch. It created a jumbled picture for Colossal Conflicts 2 but I'm happy with how it is shaping up right now. More on this will be revealed on the next show so stay tuned. I'm busy with my LOW fed at the moment (WrestleCade 14 weekend!) but I will get back to this soon.
