Ahhh, yes... The old 'title belt is in my possession and therefore it's mine' angle... A total classic, my friend... Very excited for how things play out! The crazy thing is that whole situation came about because I rolled doubles on the pin. I got creative and came up with Wolf grabbing the title, a classic angle as you astutely noted, so now it kicks into gear the direction I was thinking of going in for the title situation once I realized Wolf should get his title rematch. It created a jumbled picture for Colossal Conflicts 2 but I'm happy with how it is shaping up right now. More on this will be revealed on the next show so stay tuned. I'm busy with my LOW fed at the moment (WrestleCade 14 weekend!) but I will get back to this soon. It's a classic plot device -- which is why it's survived for so long, imo... Your storytelling is simply superb, my friend... Keep up the awesome work! Now speaking of storytelling... Just in case you've missed it, I have a new COTG project going myself -- Future Shock Wrestling... My apologies for plugging this fed here... It's not something I normally do... But, I truly value your feedback and figured you might want to check it out... Thanks!

But, I truly value your feedback and figured you might want to check it out... Thanks! Absolutely not a problem my friend, you can plug your fed here. I'm loving your #Allelite flavored roster announcements in FSW. I meant to post in there earlier today when I was posting but I was rushing to get ready for work and barely had time to do what I did then lol. I'm going to be checking out more of FSW asap and as for Project 68 I'm going to try and finish out 2088 soon, just have to get my LOW business wrapped up. I just ordered 2089 and read through the handbook so I am pumped to be bringing in the new talent.

Galaxian Wrestling Federation - 2088 - Deimos 48 - Intergalactic Arena
* The Galaxian Commission appeared on the Holovision to begin the show and included were representatives from Aethra who were very unhappy with Wolf confiscating Spike’s GWF Heavyweight Title. The heated situation, which occurred at Deimos 47, was addressed directly, and the commission ruled that Wolf must surrender the title immediately or suffer the consequences. The crowd jeered that decision while the Aethran representatives roared their approval.
A countdown clock began with the commission summoning Wolf to the ring. Just as the clock was about to reach zero, Wolf made his way to the ring carrying the GWF Heavyweight championship. He glared at the Holovision screen and made gestures towards the Aethran representatives before handing the belt over to the referee. He let out a big howl and then grabbed the microphone. He made it known that he was not happy with being threatened by the commission and pointed fingers at the Aethran contingent saying that “true warriors settle it in the ring!”
With the crowd urging him on, Wolf declared his intention to enact his rematch clause for a shot at GWF Heavyweight Champion Spike at Colossal Conflicts 2. The commission responded that it is his right to do so and informed him that it would be taken into consideration. That did not please Wolf who howled in disapproval and dared the commission to stand up to the Aethran contingent and grant him his rematch. After some discussion, and heated discussion at that, it was determined that Wolf would indeed challenge for the title at Colossal Conflicts 2. The crowd roared in celebration as the Aethran team stormed out of the meeting room.
The Galaxian Commission announced that a new plan would be put in place to determine how the title situation unfolds at Colossal Conflicts 2, scheduled for Jupiter 50 at the Io Coliseum. It was stated that the new plan would be unveiled at Deimos 49 in order to give the participants time to plan strategy. As it stands, Wolf will face Spike for the GWF Heavyweight Title while Star Warrior, Thantos, Massif, and Invincible Krakan will still meet in a Fatal Four Way Match to determine who gets a title shot. That means that each man could be competing twice on the final event of 2088.
As the Galaxian Commission signed off, Wolf paced angrily in the ring demanding an opponent to “feed on”. Surprisingly it was Vanity that answered the call. The conceited star from Neptune, backed by The Creeper, pranced down the aisle announcing himself as undefeated in singles matches in 2088 and that he was going to make it 3-0 by taking out Wolf before he could make it to Colossal Conflicts 2…
01) Wolf (Andromeda 13) defeated Vanity (Nereid, Neptune, with The Creeper)
* A fired up Wolf went right at Vanity, who had The Creeper with him at ringside. Vanity had little in the way of offense as Wolf dominated the bout. A face rake led to a two count before Wolf, thwarting interference by The Creeper, went to the top rope deathjump style coming off with a Flying Cross Body Block for a snake eyes pin. Vanity and The Creeper jumped Wolf post-match until Reptillo made a surprise save. The AniMen allies cleaned house leading too…
02) Reptillo (Andromeda 13, with Wolf) defeated The Creeper (Nereid, Neptune, with Vanity)
* Wolf opted to remain at ringside to watch Reptillo’s back as he faced The Creeper, with Vanity in his corner. This one wasn’t pretty, but it was exciting all the same. It could have gone either way, and also nearly ended in a disqualification and a count out at various points. Both Wolf and Vanity got involved adding to the drama. The finish of a wild bout saw Reptillo lock on the Reptillo Claw Hold for a submission victory. Beauty & The Beast jumped Wolf and Reptillo afterward and, after both sides were separated, it was agreed that they would meet in tag team action at Deimos 49.
03) Norse Gods defeated AniMen of Andromeda
* The AniMen of Andromeda were back out for more action as Incredible Badger & Battering Ram faced the Norse Gods, Man-Mountain & Lightning. This one didn’t last long and featured some intense exchanges between the two teams. The Norse Gods pulled ahead thanks to the size advantage of Man-Mountain. That helped set it up for Lightning who caught Battering Ram with a Shoulder Breaker scoring a flash snake eyes pin. The AniMen were frustrated over the loss and roughed up Lightning who after recovering challenged Incredible Badger to a singles match at Deimos 49.
04) Actagon (Greece, Earth) defeated Death Knight (Altair)
* Actagon of the Greek Gods was primed for this singles match with Death Knight, representing the Galaxian Royal Court. This was a dominant performance from Actagon as he gave Death Knight little chance to counter his attacks. It took a third application of the Grecian Sleeper Grip, but Actagon put Death Knight away for a submission victory.
05) Bishop Hell (Parts Unknown) defeated Proteus (Greece, Earth)
* Proteus, the other-half of the Greek Gods, took on Bishop Hell, representing the Galaxian Royal Court. This was an intense singles bout that saw both men with chances to win. Proteus took control late and may have won it with the Overhead Toss, but Death Knight came to ringside and interfered. As Bishop Hell recovered and distracted the referee, Death Knight used a loaded glove on Proteus. Actagon ran down but was cut off by Death Knight and that led to Bishop Hell delivering Hellfire on Proteus for a controversial pinfall victory.
06) Flying Titans defeated Society of Death by Count Out
* The legendary rivalry between the Flying Titans and Society of Death was on full display in this special eight-man tag team match. It was the Titans of Lord Nexus, Billy Jo Boxer, Pit Viper & Pulsar going against the SOD foursome of Invincible Krakan, Mutant, Ghengis Khan & Splatter. This was a war from bell-to-bell. Pulsar nearly pulled off an upset when he caught Krakan, a former GWF Heavyweight champion, with Whirlwind for a big near fall. The Titans built up some great momentum after that until Splatter reversed it and nearly pinned Nexus with Hatchet Job.
Khan held control late using his Khan Nerve Pinch to great effect, but it was Boxer that turned the tide after a hot tag from Pit Viper. He hit a jawbuster on Khan who bailed out of the ring. During an eight-way battle on the floor, Boxer blasted Khan with a left hook that resulted in a count out victory for the Flying Titans.
07) Thantos, Exo-King & Killer Queen defeated Star Warrior, Massif & Mesmer
* A big six-man tag team bout featured Star Warrior, Massif & Mesmer against Thantos, Exo-King & Killer Queen. There were a lot of grudges here, none stronger than Star Warrior and Mesmer, Master of the Occult, looking to avenge Omega who was again injured by the Galaxian Royal Court. The latest injury puts Omega’s match with Exo-King in a Cosmic Cage at Colossal Conflicts 2 in jeopardy, but Mesmer has let it be known that he will step in for Omega if necessary. This was a bitter battle between the two sides which seemed to favor Thantos, “The Gamemaster”, as he played it cool most of the way. His ability to pick his spots led his team to victory when, with the others battling outside the ring, he nailed Massif with a running clothesline and then applied the Masterlock for a submission victory.
Thantos grabbed the microphone post-match and gloated over the win for the Galaxian Villains side against the FDF. He said that the FDF fought with emotion, but he fought with intent to win. He said that alone will guide him to victory at Colossal Conflicts 2 where he will end the night as the new GWF Heavyweight champion. Star Warrior and Massif were not pleased with the arrogance of Thantos but opted to leave with Mesmer, saving further conflict for another day.
08) GWF Tag Team Titles: Gladiators of Aethra© defeated Neptunian Space-Croppers to retain the titles
* The main event saw the Neptunian Space-Croppers, Renegade & Beast-Rider, attempt to stop the dominant run of the 2nd GWF Tag Team Champions the Gladiators of Aethra, Brute & Massacre. This was an interesting challenge for the Gladiators as Renegade and Beast-Rider have been known to pick up some notable wins, such as toppling the Norse Gods at Deimos 46. The Space-Croppers held their own in this championship battle until Massacre caught Renegade with the Massacre Slam for a near fall. That turned things around for the Gladiators as they got the heat on Renegade leaving Beast-Rider out of it. The finishing sequence saw Massacre nail Renegade with the Decapitator for the pin as Brute cut off a save attempt by Beast-Rider. It was a successful version ten title defense for the Gladiators, and one has to wonder who they will face at Colossal Conflicts 2, perhaps with an announcement forthcoming at Deimos 49.

Reptillo gets a chance to team up with the Ultimate Savage against Beauty and the Beast... WOW! That's gotta be like a dream come true for the young AniMan.
This card was punctuated by the Norse Gods scoring a big upset, Actagon proving he's just as good in singles as tag team competition and the Gladiators holding strong at the top.
Colossal Conflicts 2 is shaping up to be a show to remember, my friend... Excited for Wolf's title rematch. OWOOOOOOO!

Galaxian Wrestling Federation - 2088 - Deimos 49 - Intergalactic Arena * The Galaxian Commission issued a statement prior to the card that the determination match for who would compete for the GWF Tag Team Championship, held by the Gladiators of Aethra, Brute & Massacre, at Colossal Conflicts 2 would be decided in the main event. It would be a Top Contenders Match featuring Titan Power, Lord Nexus & Billy Jo Boxer, and the Greek Gods, Actagon & Proteus. In addition, it was announced that GWF founder Omega has sent word that he will compete against Exo-King in the Cosmic Cage Match at the big event. Omega in his statement said that he is going against doctors’ orders and will seek to avenge the injuries inflicted on him by the Galaxian Royal Court.01) Incredible Badger (Andromeda 13, with Battering Ram) defeated Lightning (Polaris, with Man-Mountain)* A competitive opening bout between tag team specialists Incredible Badger of the AniMen and Lightning of the Norse Gods had the crowd at a fever pitch. Battering Ram and Man-Mountain were in the corners for Badger and Lightning, respectively, but to their credit neither man interfered in the match. Both men had chances to win, including Lightning using the Norse Sleeper Grip two times late in the match. Badger managed to survive that submission hold and mounted a great comeback hitting Burrow Blast to score the pin. 02) Mesmer (Dimension X) defeated Death Knight (Altair)* Mesmer, Master of the Occult, was ready to step in for his good friend Omega at Colossal Conflicts 2 but with that part decided the FDF representative put his full focus on Death Knight. A member of the Galaxian Royal Court, Death Knight has been a thorn in the side of Omega and in turn Mesmer. Death Knight got off to a strong start but a slick counter by Mesmer led to him applying Blackout and it was all over. Mesmer scored a very impressive submission win over an FDF rival which had to please Omega and the rest of the Federation Defense Fighters. 03) Neptunian Space-Croppers defeated Society of Death* After a disappointing loss in their GWF Tag Team Championship challenge at Deimos 48, the Neptunian Space-Croppers of Renegade & Beast-Rider looked to rebound against the tough Mutant & Ghengis Khan of the Society of Death. This was a great display of teamwork by the Space-Croppers as they cut off the ring, keeping Mutant in and on the defensive as an angry Khan looked for a tag. That key tag never came as the Space-Croppers took it home when Beast-Rider hit the Cropper Slam on Mutant for the pin. 04) Bishop Hell (Parts Unknown) defeated Pulsar (Titan, Saturn)* The popular Pulsar of the Flying Titans had a tough draw taking on Bishop Hell of the Galaxian Royal Court. Pulsar did not let that affect him as he took the master of Hellfire to the limit. This was a great bout as Pulsar held his own, even scoring a two count with a flying leg scissors into a cradle hold. It took great effort from Bishop Hell to win it, but he did when he executed the controversial Hellfire on Pulsar to score the pin. 05) Wolf & Reptillo defeated Beauty & The Beast* Tag team action saw Wolf & Reptillo, representing the AniMen, face Beauty & The Beast, Vanity & The Creeper, coming off the events at Deimos 48. Wolf is not one to have allies around, but he has taken a liking to Reptillo. This was a great display of offensive wrestling by the AniMen against a more experienced tag team. Vanity was in great peril when Reptillo trapped him in the Lizard Clutch, but The Creeper made the save. The referee quickly moved him back out and that set up the AniMen as they took turns battering Vanity. Wolf then locked on the Savage Face Claw and that was all she wrote as Vanity tapped out. The submission victory by Wolf also sent a message that he was ready for Colossal Conflicts 2 as he will face GWF Heavyweight Champion Spike in the opening match where the winner will defend the title against Star Warrior, Massif, Thantos or Invincible Krakan in the main event. 06) Executioner (France, Earth) defeated Adam Blast (West Virginia, Earth)* The first of two singles matches pitting the Bomb Squad against The Henchmen saw Adam Blast face Executioner in an all Earth-based matchup. Executioner got off to a strong start hitting the Headsman Guillotine and using an illegal foreign object, but Blast somehow kicked out. Blast showed great resilience coming back against his larger foe, but the masked man regained control. A second dose of the Headsman Guillotine by Executioner led to him scoring the pin. 07) Commander Sam (USA, Earth) defeated Comrade Terror (Cygnus)* The other-half of the Bomb Squad and The Henchmen rivalry took center stage as Commander Sam faced Comrade Terror, a former GWF Heavyweight champion. Sam struck first with Sam’s Slam and that set the pace for what was a wild battle between the two longtime rivals. Both men hoped to execute their finishers, Sam with Sam’s Atomic Drop and Terror with the Atomic Warhead, for victory but that eluded them. Instead, this was a bitter struggle fought in and out of the ring with disqualification almost coming into play. It was a late counter by Sam that led to him trapping Terror in an Abdominal Stretch which he cinched on for a snake eyes submission victory. Executioner hit the ring post-match and joined Comrade Terror in attacking Sam but then Adam Blast made the save to cheers from the crowd. That set off a wild brawl between the two teams which required referees and GWF officials en masse to break up. It was a prelude to a Tag Team Elimination Match between the two teams at Colossal Conflicts 2 and if this was any indication it would be a battle for the ages. 08) Top Contenders Match: Titan Power defeated Greek Gods* An all-important main event saw Titan Power, Lord Nexus & Billy Jo Boxer, and the Greek Gods, Actagon & Proteus, meet in a Top Contenders Match. The winners, as announced earlier by the Galaxian Commission, would face Brute & Massacre, the Gladiators of Aethra, for the GWF Tag Team Championship at Colossal Conflicts 2. The champions took seats at ringside to watch the match, knowing that they have beaten both teams in title defenses during 2088. It has been a remarkable run for the champions being undefeated in tag team competition during the year and having a total of ten successful title defenses during their reign. Titan Power got off to a strong start, but the Greek Gods were able to absorb that and settle in for what became a great match. Offensive exchanges were fast and furious, as well as defense coming into play with some timely tags on both sides. The Greek Gods went to their finisher, the Grecian Sleeper Grip, and Boxer somehow survived three applications of the hold. Nexus survived one as well, but it was Boxer who was the worst for wear, having been busted open and in a bad way in the latter stages. The Greek Gods looked to exploit that but a key tag by Boxer led to Nexus turning things around for Titan Power. In a flurry of moves, he caught Proteus with the Titan Drop and scored the pin as the bloody Boxer cut off Actagon with a left hook preventing a pin save. Titan Power won it and earned the chance to face the Gladiators of Aethra for the GWF Tag Team Championship at Colossal Conflicts 2. It was a tough loss for the Greek Gods, but they showed great honor in congratulating Titan Power on their win. Brute and Massacre entered the ring holding up the title belts and got into a stare down with Titan Power, but no blows were exchanged. Perhaps the presence of the Greek Gods made them think better of that. The Gladiators left the ring sneering back at Titan Power holding the belts, as Nexus and Boxer looked ahead to what could be a golden moment for them on the biggest stage in the GWF. ********************

Here's my Top 3 Countdown:
3/ The eternal feud between Sam and Terror continues to escalate... And their respective partners are clearly not shy about getting into the mix... Bomb Squad vs. Henchmen... Classic!
2/ Wolf proves that he CAN function as part of a team, partnering up with Reptillo to score a decisive victory over Beauty & the Beast... The Ultimate Savage is building up momentum heading into his title rematch against Spike... OWOOOOOO!
1/ Both the Titans and the Greeks deliver brilliant performances in that top contenders main event... Can the dominant reign of the Gladiators be stopped? Or will they close out 2088 with the belts still in their possession?
All roads lead to Colossal Conflicts 2, my brotha! Bring it!

Wolf definitely has momentum going into the big event and that Titan Power vs. Greek Gods match was fun to roll out. Titan Power have faced the Gladiators before so maybe that will help them going into the title match. I haven't had time to roll out Colossal Conflicts 2 yet, but I hope to get to it over the next week.

Galaxian Wrestling Federation - 2088 - Jupiter 50 - Io Coliseum - Jupiter - Colossal Conflicts 2
01) GWF Heavyweight Title: Wolf defeated Spike to win the title
* Colossal Conflicts 2 got off to a hot start as Wolf looked to avenge his loss of the GWF Heavyweight title to Spike back at New York 45. The winner would have only a short time to rest up as they would be back defending the belt in the main event. Spike was aggressive right out of the gate but that backfired as a slick counter by Wolf led to a Wolf Skullcrusher and running clothesline for a two count. Wolf followed that up with a ferocious attack and within a few moves he trapped Spike in the Savage Face Claw. Spike fought to escape but Wolf had it locked in and got the submission.
The crowd roared as Wolf was crowned the first two-time GWF Heavyweight champion getting the show off to a rousing start. Wolf let out a howl of victory and thrust the title belt into the air in celebration as a defeated Spike bailed out of the ring. Still to come it would be four men – Star Warrior, Thantos, Massif and Invincible Krakan – competing for the chance to face a newly crowned GWF Heavyweight champion Wolf in the main event.
02) Pulsar, Reptillo, Renegade & Beast-Rider defeated Mutant, Ghengis Khan, Killer Queen & Death Knight
* The first of two eight-man tag team matches featured the popular foursome Pulsar, Reptillo, Renegade & Beast-Rider joining forces to face the combined Galaxian Villains team of Mutant, Ghengis Khan, Killer Queen & Death Knight. This was a hectic bout that saw the villain side twice save Mutant after Pulsar had him pinned with the Whirlwind. Luck wasn’t on Mutant’s side the third time around, however, as Beast-Rider caught him with the Bulldog Ride for the pin.
03) Norse Gods & Beauty & The Beast defeated Greek Gods & AniMen of Andromeda
* Formal tag teams joined forces for this eight-man tag bout as the Greek Gods, Actagon & Proteus, and the AniMen of Andromeda, Incredible Badger & Battering Ram, took on the Norse Gods, Man-Mountain & Lightning, and Beauty & The Beast, Vanity & The Creeper. The action was hectic in this one and featured a surprise finish as Lightning pinned Proteus snake eyes style with a Flying Elbow Smash.
Vanity and The Creeper attempted a post-match attack on Proteus but that was surprisingly stopped by the Norse Gods. The two tossed Beauty and The Beast out of the ring and then assisted Proteus to his feet. Actagon and the AniMen looked on in shock as Man-Mountain and Lightning simply left the ring drawing some cheers from the crowd. It appears there could be a new outlook for the Norse Gods going into 2089.
04) Tag Team Elimination Match: The Henchmen defeated Bomb Squad
Order of Elimination: * Commander Sam pinned Executioner – Sam’s Atomic Drop * Comrade Terror over Adam Blast by submission – Comrade Neck Clutch * Comrade Terror pinned Commander Sam – Atomic Warhead
* A long period of hatred and intensity came to a head in this Tag Team Elimination Match between the Bomb Squad, Commander Sam & Adam Blast, and The Henchmen, Comrade Terror & Executioner. It was a brutal bout that saw all four men absorb a good deal of punishment while suffering fatigue and in the case of Commander Sam some serious blood loss. The Bomb Squad took a two-to-one advantage when Sam eliminated Executioner but somehow Comrade Terror, a former GWF Heavyweight champion, found a way to victory. He defiantly eliminated Adam Bomb with his Comrade Neck Clutch while staring down Sam. That left Sam and Terror to go at it, renewing their own singles rivalry from 2087. In the end it was Terror planting a bloody Sam with the Atomic Warhead to score the pin.
05) Mesmer defeated Bishop Hell (Pinfall - Mystic Hammer)
* Another top rivalry took center stage as Mesmer, Master of the Occult, faced the dangerous Bishop Hell. It was the FDF against the Galaxian Royal Court on the biggest stage in the GWF. The two men went at it in a hard fought bout which featured some match changing defensive counters. Both men attempted deathjumps late but each were picked off and bodyslammed by the other. After an exchange of near falls, Bishop Hell attempted another deathjump but Mesmer was able to avoid it and follow up with a Mystic Hammer for the pin. It was a statement win for Mesmer who narrowly avoided being hit with Hellfire post-match.
06) Four Way Match for a GWF Heavyweight Title Shot: Thantos defeated Star Warrior, Massif, and Invincible Krakan
* It was now time to determine who would face Wolf in the main event for the GWF Heavyweight Championship as Star Warrior, Massif, Thantos and Invincible Krakan met in a Four Way Match. This was a one fall to a finish affair which made it even more hectic for the combatants as the first man to score a pin or a submission would get the title shot. It was chaos from the opening bell as the four men split off into pairs battling in and out of the ring. No one was safe from being hit from incoming fire as the struggle ensued. Each man came close to victory, especially Star Warrior after he caught Massif with a Running Star Blast.
The final moments saw both Star Warrior and Massif laid out on the floor as Krakan attempted to put Thantos away. That was easier said than done as Thantos, The Gamemaster, foiled an atomic drop by Krakan and rebounded off the ropes with a Running Clothesline for the pin. Thantos had achieved ultimate victory over three other top stars and won the right to face Wolf for the title in the main event. It was now coming full circle for Thantos who has never formally held the title due to being stripped of the belt by the Galaxian Commission for betraying the Galaxian Code in 2087.
07) Titan Death Match: Pit Viper defeated Splatter
* The torrid rivalry between Pit Viper of the Flying Titans and Splatter of the Society of Death culminated in a brutal Titan Death Match. Pit Viper introduced the Titan Death Match into the GWF in 2087 and unleashed it on his fiercest rival when issuing the challenge for Colossal Conflicts 2. This was simply put a war. They fought in and out of the ring and Splatter, in an attempt to evade defeat, twice survived Venom Blast. They even exchanged blows with a lead pipe on the outside with both men coming up the worse for wear. The finish of this brutality saw Pit Viper trap Splatter in the Cobra Nerve Stopper earning a hard fought submission victory.
A strange turn of events happened post-match as Pulsar joined Pit Viper for a victory celebration but was ignored by his tag team partner. Eventually Splatter recovered and hit Pulsar from behind knocking him out. Instead of assisting Pulsar, Pit Viper stared down Splatter before leaving the ring drawing confused reactions from the crowd.
08) Cosmic Cage Match: Exo-King defeated Omega
* A match that almost didn’t happen went forward as Omega, battling through injuries, faced Exo-King of the Galaxian Royal Court in a Cosmic Cage Match. Omega, the founder of the GWF, helped introduce this match concept in 2075 and could think of no better way to deal with Exo-King. The Galaxian Royal Court was responsible for twice injuring Omega in recent weeks forcing the proud star to go against doctors orders to save face.
The crowd was solidly behind Omega who waited patiently as Exo-King took his time getting into the cage. Once the bell sounded it was on and Omega gave everything he had as he looked to extract some revenge against his larger foe. This was an uphill battle for the proud, injured star and Exo-King took full advantage of it. He used his size and power to dominate late and, after a King Power Slam, he covered Omega for the pin. Exo-King scored a huge victory and left Omega in a painful heap on the canvas.
Star Warrior entered the cage to help his father up as the crowd gave Omega a thunderous ovation. Omega would then stun everyone when he revealed that he is retiring as an active in-ring competitor effective at the start of 2089. He said that he would reveal his full plans in the new year but encouraged everyone to keep backing the FDF as they continue to move forward and build towards the future. Star Warrior raised Omega’s arm up in victory as the crowd gave him a long standing ovation. Many tears were shed at would could be the beginning of the end of a legendary career.
09) GWF Tag Team Titles: Gladiators of Aethra© defeated Titan Power to retain the titles
* After failing to win the titles at New York 45, Titan Power, consisting of Lord Nexus & Billy Jo Boxer, earned the shot at GWF Tag Team Champions the Gladiators of Aethra, Brute & Massacre, by winning a top contenders match. Having held the belts since 2087, the Gladiators were looking to survive an entire year as champions. They were also looking to retain glory for Aethra after their associate, Spike, lost the GWF Heavyweight Title to Wolf in the opening match.
Brute and Massacre were relentless early, getting the heat on Lord Nexus for an extended stretch. Billy Jo Boxer pleaded for a tag which finally came after a counter by Nexus. Titan Power fought back into it and scored a near fall on Massacre when Boxer connected with a left hook. Nexus exacted some revenge as well dishing out punishment to both Gladiators. It looked like there could be a changing of the guard but the Gladiators found a way out. Their comeback culminated with Brute nailing Boxer with the Decapitator for the pin. It was a successful version eleven title defense for Brute and Massacre who ended 2088 undefeated in tag team competition and still the reigning GWF Tag Team Champions.
10) GWF Heavyweight Title: Wolf© defeated Thantos to retain the title
* You couldn’t have asked for a bigger main event to close out Colossal Conflicts 2. Wolf, coming off regaining the GWF Heavyweight Title in the opening match, defending against “The Gamemaster” Thantos who himself came away with a huge win in the big four way battle. Both men were determined to leave the event as champion, having fought tooth and nail to get to this point.
This was a hard fought main event that saw a pivotal turn when Wolf got the better of Thantos as they battled outside the ring. Thantos would struggle from that point forward, suffering frustration at nearly every turn. Wolf hit him with some high impact moves, including the Wolf Skullcrusher, en route to putting it away. With Thantos in a bad way, Wolf trapped him in the Savage Face Claw and that was it. Thantos struggled to break it but eventually succumbed and the referee called for the bell giving Wolf a submission victory. It was a successful version one title defense for Wolf who will no doubt face some more tough challenges going into 2089.
