Looks like you've capped off 2088 in glorious fashion, my friend... Here's my Top 3 Countdown for Colossal Conflicts 2! 3/ The Gladiators of Aethra continue their dominant reign in the tag team division... Can anyone beat Brute & Massacre for the tag belts? 2/ Pit Viper displays some disturbing behavior following his victory over Splatter in an emotionally charged battle... What kind of tormented thoughts are lurking behind that snakeskin mask? 1/ Wolf claims the GWF Heavyweight title from Spike at the top of the card and then successfully defends against Thantos in the main event! The Ultimate Savage is running wild! OWOOOOOOO! Thanks for the comments my friend. That was such a fun show to roll out and as you can see some hints were dropped for what is coming in 2089. Pit Viper is up to something, and the Titans have to be worried about what that could be. Wolf was not going to be denied. He powered through Spike and survived Thantos to leave as the GWF Heavyweight champion. It was an impressive night for the Ultimate Savage indeed. The Gladiators are unreal right now. I can't even believe the success that they had in 2088. There will be a lot of competition coming in 2089 so we will see how they fare. It will be a feather in the cap for whoever stops this run. I haven't started 2089 yet but will be rereading the book soon to get things going. I hope to have something done soon so I can get the new year started.

Just a quick update on Project 68. I have set up the full schedule for 2089 and have gone through the handbook, but I think I will give it another read just to be sure what direction I want to go in. This book is way more detailed than 2087 and 2088 so it's a lot to digest. I'm having fun with it though.

Galaxian Wrestling Federation - 2089 - Deimos 51 - Intergalactic Arena* Representatives of the Galaxian Commission opened the show by introducing a major new championship in the GWF which will be called the InterPlanetary Title. The prestigious new championship will be contested in a one-night eight man tournament scheduled for Deimos 60 at the Intergalactic Arena.
The participants were announced as:
Mesmer Spike Pulsar Bishop Hell Star Warrior Thantos Massif Invincible Krakan
The crowd cheered the announcement but those cheers turned to jeers as Thantos made his way to the ring flanked by Bishop Hell, Comrade Terror, Exo-King, Killer Queen and three GWF newcomers. It was an imposing looking group and Thantos took pleasure as the Galaxian Commission representatives fled the ring. He quickly grabbed the mic and scolded the commission for including him in a tournament that was “beneath him”. He said that his only goal is the GWF Heavyweight Title which was “stolen” from him at the beginning of 2087, and again at Colossal Conflicts 2 when Wolf escaped with the championship.
He said that he was removing himself from the tournament and competing in his place would be Mad Jester, one of the new men joining him in the ring. Mad Jester, scheduled for a match with Mesmer later on the card, laughed wildly as Thantos sang his praises. Thantos then discussed another newcomer called Tongsoon, who together with Comrade Terror would now be called Alien Corps. He expected them to take out Bomb Squad in their scheduled match.
Lastly, Thantos introduced Royal Overlord who he said would be the manager of the Royal Court consisting of Bishop Hell, Mad Jester, and the Royal Family, Exo-King & Killer Queen. He called this the greatest assemblage of villainy in GWF history and that no one, especially Wolf or the Federation Defense Fighters, would be safe.
Before he could go any further, Thantos was interrupted by Omega, the founder of the GWF and head of the FDF. Omega said that he officially retired as an active competitor at Colossal Conflicts 2, but he is still going to be very much involved in the GWF. He called Thantos an “ungrateful, arrogant betrayer”, which Thantos took exception to. The tension was thick as Omega said he would compete if called on but for now he is managing the expanded FDF which includes Star Warrior, Mesmer, Bomb Squad of Commander Sam & Adam Blast, and the newly arrived Galactic Punisher.
The announcement of Galactic Punisher drew a negative reaction from Thantos. Omega was then joined by Star Warrior and the aforementioned Galactic Punisher and a challenge was thrown down for a tag team match tonight. Omega said that Star Warrior & Galactic Punisher wanted Thantos & Bishop Hell. Thantos was furious but knew that backing down would be a blow for his new power grab. He reluctantly accepted the challenge, setting the stage for a huge main event…01) Beauty & The Beast (with Sweet Thing) defeated Neptunian Space-Croppers* The opening contest continued a tag team rivalry as the Neptunian Space-Croppers, Renegade & Beast-Rider, faced Beauty & The Beast, Vanity & The Creeper. This time there was a twist, however, as Beauty & The Beast were accompanied by Sweet Thing, said to be the new valet of Vanity. The Space-Croppers were faring well until a blind tag by Vanity led to The Creeper hitting a surprise Shoulder Breaker on Renegade for the pin. Renegade seemed unfazed by the loss as he stared at Sweet Thing, needing to be pulled away by Beast-Rider as Vanity smirked with delight. 02) Bounty Hunter (Orion, with Reynard B. Guile) defeated Reptillo (Andromeda 13)* The fired up Reptillo, who has taken exception to being referred to as a “weak link” in the AniMen, took up the challenge of a tough GWF newcomer called the Bounty Hunter, who was accompanied by his manager Reynard B. Guile. Reptillo was hoping to get off to a good start in 2089 and he fared well, firing back at Bounty Hunter several times. Bounty Hunter proved to be a formidable foe and, with an assist from Guile, he nailed Reptillo with Ambush! to score pin. 03) Fighting Titans (with Trainer Jim) defeated Society of Death* Shortly following Colossal Conflicts 2, the Flying Titans were dealt a major blow when Pit Viper abandoned the group to join up with a new manager called Darkos, The Head Assassin. With help from Invincible Krakan of the Society of Death, Darkos recruited Pit Viper away from the Titans. Even more shocking, Krakan sold the rights to Splatter to Darkos who somehow convinced former rivals Splatter and Pit Viper to team up as the Blood Brothers. Pit Viper’s betrayal of the Titans sent them into a state of despair, forcing them to turn to Trainer Jim, their new manager. Having trained Lord Nexus, Billy Jo Boxer and Pulsar, he was the perfect man to bring them back to prominence. Jim even changed their name to the Fighting Titans and this was their debut under new management. Right from the opening bell, the Titans took out their anger on the Society of Death and this turned into a mismatch. They isolated Mutant from his partners and it was Pulsar, perhaps the man most betrayed by Pit Viper, that scored the pin on his rival with Whirlwind. Lord Nexus grabbed the mic post-match and vowed that the Fighting Titans would be the team to beat in the GWF. 04) Powerhouse defeated The Headsmen* Two new tag teams looking to make an impact in the GWF squared off as Powerhouse, Massif & Earthquake, took on The Headsmen, Executioner & Death Knight. The latter team are part of the Masked Assassins unit headed up by Darkos and featuring Pit Viper & Splatter, the Blood Brothers. Darkos, who purchased the contracts of both Executioner, his right hand man, and Death Knight, was not at ringside with his men but helped to orchestrate a mid-match attack by the Blood Brothers that nearly saw Earthquake pinned. Powerhouse managed to rebound and won a hard-fought battle when Massif pinned Executioner after a Head Butt. 05) Mesmer (Dimension X) defeated Mad Jester (Unknown, with Royal Overlord)* The start of what could be an epic rivalry between the FDF and the Royal Court saw Mesmer, Master of the Occult, face the deranged genius of the Mad Jester. The Royal Overlord was in the corner for the Mad Jester while Omega, the manager of the FDF, opted to remain away from ringside. There is no doubt that Omega and Mesmer went over strategy beforehand as an opponent like the Mad Jester is bound to frustrate and confuse the opposition. This was a bitter battle that saw the Royal Overlord get involved after Mesmer executed Blackout. Mesmer managed to thwart that interference and caught a stunned Jester with the Mystic Hammer for the pin. 06) Alien Corps defeated Bomb Squad* The tag team battle between the Bomb Squad, Commander Sam & Adam Blast, and The Henchmen, Comrade Terror & Executioner, at Colossal Conflicts 2 was supposed to quell the rivalry. Instead, it has only grown stronger now that The Henchmen are no more. Executioner had his contract sold by Thantos to Darkos, becoming a part of the Masked Assassins. The masked man then claimed that he could “no longer win” with a partner like Comrade Terror, even though they had won against Bomb Squad. Comrade Terror took exception to that comment and recruited Tongsoon, a fellow war fighter from Cygnus thus creating Alien Corps, a duo with a hatred for all things human. This was another bitter battle between the Bomb Squad and Terror, along with Tongsoon who really impressed. It ended when Terror caught Blast in the Comrade Neck Clutch resulting in a snake eyes submission victory. It didn’t end there as Alien Corps disposed of Sam and proceeded to gang up on the young Blast. It was a vicious attack with Tongsoon capping it of with Battle Cry. Blast needed assistance leaving the ring after the attack. 07) Wolf & AniMen of Andromeda (with Amazonia) defeated Brute, Massacre & Spike* A crazy turn of events happened during the ring introductions for this big six-man tag team match pitting Wolf, the reigning GWF Heavyweight Champion, and the AniMen of Andromeda, Invincible Krakan & Battering Ram, against the Gladiators of Aethra, Spike and GWF Tag Team Champions Brute & Massacre. An unknown woman raced into the ring followed by Bounty Hunter and Reynard B. Guile. She quickly found refuge behind Wolf and the AniMen as Bounty Hunter and Guile stalked ringside. As GWF officials attempted to restore order, Wolf let out a furious howl and gave a deadly stare in the direction of Bounty Hunter and Guile, his “weasel-like” manager. He grabbed the mic and angrily called them out for stalking Amazonia the Savage, a female accomplice of his from the jungles of Andromeda 13, after she refused an offer of marriage from Guile. It was a chaotic scene that only died down once Bounty Hunter and Guile were ordered to the back. Amazonia remained at ringside, however, deciding to corner Wolf and the AniMen. This was simply put a war. Spike was looking to avenge his GWF title loss to Wolf at Colossal Conflicts 2 while Incredible Badger & Battering Ram were hoping to send a message to the GWF tag team champions. During the heat of the action, Bounty Hunter returned and interfered, nearly giving the Gladiators the win. Amazonia returned the favor later providing a distraction when Brute hit the Decapitator on Battering Ram. The furious battle ended when Wolf caught Massacre in the Savage Face Claw leading the AniMen to a submission victory. 08) Thantos & Bishop Hell (with Royal Overlord) defeated Star Warrior & Galactic Punisher (with Omega)* An epic main event got an added attraction as Omega decided to accompany Star Warrior & Galactic Punisher to the ring, countering the presence of his managerial counterpart Royal Overlord in the corner of Thantos & Bishop Hell. It was a last minute strategic decision by Omega who felt that the FDF needed to balance out the numbers against this triumvirate of Galaxian villainy. This was a match that exceeded expectations as both teams traded off offensive attacks and scored numerous near falls. Galactic Punisher made a most impressive GWF debut, hitting the Verdict three times only to have the villains find an escape from defeat. This all boiled down to one move, a controversial move that was in part the reason that Galactic Punisher made his way to the GWF – Hellfire. In the literal heat of the action, Bishop Hell unleashed the controversial move on Star Warrior and score the pin. As Omega and Galactic Punisher tended to Star Warrior, Royal Overlord joined Thantos and Bishop Hell in celebrating a huge win over their FDF rivals. Injury Report:* Adam Blast was injured in a post-match attack by Alien Corps, Comrade Terror & Tongsoon of Cygnus, and will be out of action for two cards. Commander Sam has vowed to fight on in Blasts’ absence and has challenged Tongsoon to face him at Deimos 52. Tongsoon eagerly accepted that while Comrade Terror, looking for his own fight, called out his former tag team partner Executioner.

Galaxian Wrestling Federation - 2089 - Deimos 52 - Intergalactic Arena
* The Greek Gods, Actagon & Proteus, stood in center ring soaking in the cheers of the crowd at Intergalactic Arena. It has been a trying two years for the fantastic tag team from Greece, located on Earth, losing in three GWF Tag Team championship matches to the Gladiators of Aethra. Additionally, they got caught up in an intense feud with their rivals from Polaris, the Norse Gods, Man-Mountain & Lightning. All of that had taken a toll on them as Actagon announced, but in 2089 they are seeking new guidance and have found it.
The arena filled up with white, blinding light as a mysterious cloaked figure made his way to the ring. He joined the Greek Gods and unveiled himself as Solaris, God of Light. A revered spiritual leader from Proxima Centauri, Solaris was the trainer of Actagon who called on him to join the Greek Gods in the GWF.
Said to have the Power Cosmic coursing through his veins, Solaris accepted that request under one condition. Solaris said that with Darkos and his team of Masked Assassins (Pit Viper, Splatter, Executioner & Death Knight) poised to take over the GWF, and make life even more miserable for the Greek Gods, a union needed to be made. With that he called out the aforementioned Norse Gods. Their arrival caused Actagon and Proteus to be taken aback but they were willing to hear Solaris out.
Stepping in between the four men, the Greek Gods and the Norse Gods, the wise Solaris called on them to put aside their past differences and unite. He said that they should fight together, not against each other, in order to neutralize a threat like the Masked Assassins and Darkos. Adding that it would befit the greatness and ranking of both teams in the GWF, he called on them to make peace. It took a little convincing but then the four men shook hands to thunderous applause from the crowd.
Solaris said that henceforth the combined forces of the Greek Gods and the Norse Gods shall be known as the Supreme Gods, and that their quest to make a statement in the GWF begins tonight in the Intergalactic Arena…
01) Ghengis Khan (Mongolia, Earth) defeated Billy Jo Boxer (Titan, Saturn)
* The opening contest pitting Boxing against Karate saw Billy Jo Boxer of the Fighting Titans oppose Ghengis Khan of the Society of Death. Trainer Jim, the new manager of the Fighting Titans, was not at ringside as he and Lord Nexus had returned to Saturn for a prior commitment. Boxer didn’t look like he needed help as he dominated from the open, even kicking out of a pin off a Twin Thrust. Khan, however, turned the tables and after an extended Khan Nerve Pinch he hit a second Twin Thrust and scored the pin. Karate – 1, Boxing – 0.
02) Tongsoon of Cygnus (Cygnus) defeated Commander Sam (USA, Earth)
* Grudge match action saw Commander Sam of the Bomb Squad looking for revenge as he faced Tongsoon of Cygnus from Alien Corps. After Alien Corps, Tongsoon and Comrade Terror, injured Adam Blast at Deimos 51, Sam wanted nothing more than to get his hands on either man. Tongsoon obliged and this was a war, something Tongsoon is very used to having been in the war between Cygnus and Earth where he earned a deadly reputation. Sam did not back down and scored two near falls while also kicking out after Battle Cry. Tongsoon, however, followed up Battle Cry with a Flying Knee and covered Sam for the pin.
03) Bounty Hunter (Orion, with Reynard B. Guile) defeated Pulsar (Titan, Saturn)
* The popular Pulsar of the Fighting Titans faced dangerous GWF newcomer Bounty Hunter, who was accompanied by his manager Reynard B. Guile. Pulsar gave Bounty Hunter fits in this bout, often making speed-based counters. He also survived some of Bounty Hunter’s deadly techniques like the Snap Snare and Animal Trap. Guile wound up interfering with a leg trip from outside allowing Bounty Hunter to blast Pulsar with Ambush! for the pin.
04) Executioner (France, Earth) defeated Comrade Terror (Cygnus) by DQ
* A battle of ex-tag team partners saw Executioner oppose Comrade Terror, a rare battle of villainy in the GWF. Darkos, the manager of the Masked Assassins, was not at ringside but clearly masterminded strategy with Executioner. That became noticeable when Executioner distracted the referee as the rest of the Assassins swarmed the ring assaulting Comrade Terror. That set up a near fall for the Executioner and also lead to him turning the tide of the battle. Executioner hit the Headsman Guillotine but as he went for the pin it was Tongsoon of Cygnus interfering. Alien Corps ganged up on Executioner who scored a painful disqualification victory before being saved by the Assassins.
05) The Creeper (Nereid, Neptune) defeated Renegade (Nereid, Neptune)
* The ongoing saga between the Neptunian Space-Croppers and Beauty & The Beast, Vanity & The Creeper, has taken an interesting turn with the arrival of Sweet Thing. The stunning new valet of Vanity, Sweet Thing has drawn the attention of Renegade who has become obsessed with her. She was not at ringside to start but one could tell that Renegade was not in his best state of mind.
This may have been the best performance The Creeper has had since arriving in the GWF at the start of 2088. Renegade fought from the defensive most of the way, though impressively surviving Eliminator two times. When things looked to be turning around for Renegade, he was distracted by Vanity who came to ringside with Sweet Thing. That led to Renegade turning right into an attack by The Creeper who leveled him with a Piledriver (ch) to score the pin. Vanity laughed at the predicament Renegade found himself in and to add insult to injury he had Sweet Thing kiss him on the cheek as he retreated down the aisle, The Creeper in tow. 06) Royal Family defeated Greek Gods
* The first test for Solaris and the Supreme Gods was a tough one as the Greek Gods, Actagon & Proteus, took on the Royal Family of Exo-King & Killer Queen. Neither Solaris nor the Royal Overlord, manager of the Royal Court faction, were at ringside preferring to let their men battle it out. The Greek Gods were on a tear in this one, at one point nearly putting Killer Queen out on a tradeoff of the Grecian Sleeper Grip. Things looked good late when Proteus hit Overhead Toss on Killer Queen but Exo-King broke it up. Amidst the chaos, Exo-King hit Proteus in the back with a chair which was missed by the referee. That led to Exo-King tagging in and locking Death Vise on Proteus resulting in a controversial submission victory for the Royal Family.
07) Norse Gods (with Solaris) defeated Blood Brothers (with Darkos) by DQ
* After the controversial loss for the Greek Gods, Solaris accompanied the Norse Gods, Man-Mountain & Lightning, to the ring for their match against the Blood Brothers, Pit Viper & Splatter, of the Masked Assassins. Darkos was also at ringside for his men and The Head Assassin had a plan. Mere moments into the match, Darkos called out Headsmen, Executioner & Death Knight, and they hit the ring for a four-on-two attack. The Norse Gods won by disqualification but suffered a brutal attack. Lightning was hurled out of the ring while the rest tied a rope around the neck of Man-Mountain and hung the 568-pound brute over the ropes. Lightning recovered and, with the Greek Gods, made the save but it was too late as the Masked Assassins succeeded in injuring Man-Mountain.
08) Bishop Hell (Parts Unknown, with Royal Overlord) defeated Galactic Punisher (Cetus) by Count Out
* A highly anticipated main event between the Federation Defense Fighters and the Royal Court saw Galactic Punisher of the FDF face Bishop Hell. Accompanied by his manager Royal Overlord, Bishop Hell was looking to make a statement against Galactic Punisher. A supercop from Cetus, Galactic Punisher joined the GWF to tackle the rulebreaking ways of men like Bishop Hell, even requesting he cease using Hellfire. That did not sit well with Bishop Hell who used Hellfire to lead him and Thantos to victory over Galactic Punisher and Star Warrior at Deimos 51.
This was a tough bout, both men exchanging offensive runs and trading heavy bombs throughout. Bishop Hell managed to avoid both Verdict and Life Sentence keeping him in a favorable position in the match. Controversy would end it, though, as the fight went to the floor. Royal Overlord got involved distracting Galactic Punisher allowing Bishop Hell to deliver a piledriver on the floor. Bishop Hell tried to win it by count out but Galactic Punisher managed to get back into the ring. Frustrated, Bishop Hell took it back outside where he hit the Flying Cross. This time, as Galactic Punisher tried to get back in, Royal Overlord held onto his leg allowing Bishop Hell to win it by count out.
The crowd and Galactic Punisher were furious with the result as was Omega, head of the FDF, who came down to the ring. The GWF founder called out Bishop Hell and Royal Overlord for their actions. He stated that things are changing in the GWF, especially with the arrival of managers at ringside and so everyone will have to be on guard. He warned Royal Overlord that perhaps one day they would be in the ring against each other. Galactic Punisher added that this was just the start of his campaign against injustice and Bishop Hell would find that out when they meet again.
Injury Report:
* Man-Mountain of the Norse Gods suffered a neck injury at the hands of Darkos and his Masked Assassins. He will be out of action for two cards and Solaris, the spiritual leader of the combined Supreme Gods, was not pleased. The God of Light has requested a six-man tag team match for Columba 53 which was accepted by Darkos. As a result, it will be Actagon, Proteus & Lightning versus Pit Viper, Splatter & Death Knight at the Columba Parthenon.

Can't believe I missed the 2089 premier... Fortunately, I'm all caught up and very happy the Project 68 universe hasn't skipped a beat.
This is an eventful year for the federation... With the arrival of top notch talents like Galactic Punisher and Bounty Hunter... The introduction of managers and valets like Amazonia and Royal Overlord... And let's not forget one of the most emotional storylines ever... Pit Viper's unbelievable heel turn has got everyone's head spinning and I'm certain there are some (looking at you, Pulsar) that haven't even fully grasped the situation yet.
You're on a roll, brotha! And I'm very excited to see where everything goes from here!

Thanks my friend, you are spot on as usual. 2089 already has my interest with all of the new arrivals, especially with adding managers in. It definitely adds a twist.
As for missing the premier event, no worries as we are just getting started. Next show incoming...Galaxian Wrestling Federation - 2089 - Columba 53 - Columba Parthenon01) Vanity (Nereid, Neptune, with Sweet Thing) defeated Reptillo (Andromeda 13)* The opening contest was a thriller with Reptillo facing Vanity, accompanied by Sweet Thing. Reptillo put in one heck of a performance getting the Lizard Clutch on four times. Unfortunately for him, Vanity got a rope break along with two distractions by Sweet Thing and one by The Creeper to avoid defeat. Both Sweet Thing and The Creeper were ejected from ringside but somehow Vanity still prevailed. His handsome face busted open, Vanity mounted a late counterattack and hit the Pulverizer, his top rope elbow smash, for the pin. 02) Society of Death defeated Titan Power (with Trainer Jim)* Titan Power, Lord Nexus & Billy Jo Boxer, of the Fighting Titans faced their Society of Death rivals Mutant & Ghengis Khan in tag team action. Manager Trainer Jim was in the corner of the Titans hoping to lead them to victory. Instead, he saw his men go down in defeat albeit in controversial fashion. Late in the match, Lord Nexus found himself on the floor where Mutant, out of view of the referee, hit him over the head with the ring bell. Lord Nexus was out of it as he rolled back in and Khan blasted him with Twin Thrust to score the pin. 03) Galactic Punisher (Cetus) defeated The Creeper (Nereid, Neptune)* The Galactic Punisher of the FDF faced The Creeper, bodyguard of Vanity, in singles action. The Creeper has proven to be very tough to beat since joining the GWF and this match was no exception. He survived both Verdict and Life Sentence forcing Galactic Punisher to think outside the box. It wound up with a deathjump attack ending it as Galactic Punisher went up top and delivered a Flying Cross Body Block for the pin. 04) Mesmer, Massif & Earthquake defeated Exo-King, Killer Queen & Mad Jester (with Royal Overlord)* The first of two big six-man tag team matches in Columba saw the FDF represented by Mesmer and Powerhouse, Massif & Earthquake, facing the Royal Court team of Ex-King & Killer Queen, the Royal Family, and Mad Jester. Royal Overlord, the manager for the Royal Court, was at ringside while FDF manager Omega opted to remain in the back having devised a strategy with his team. That strategy worked as after a hard fought battle, which saw all six men have shining moments, the FDF took home the victory. The finish saw Mesmer subdue Mad Jester with the Demon Grip, setting up a tag to Massif who leveled him with the Volcanic Drop for the pin. 05) Thantos (Maffei II) defeated Beast-Rider (Nereid, Neptune)* The popular Beast-Rider, one-half of the Neptunian Space-Croppers, faced Thantos, head of the Galaxian Villains. Many have questioned Thantos pulling out of the tournament for the inaugural GWF InterPlanetary Championship, but the “Gamemaster" is bound and determined to claim the GWF Heavyweight Championship. He looked very focused here as, save for a later counterattack by Beast-Rider, it was all Thantos. The finish saw Thantos use a sleeper hold (ch) to wear down Beast-Rider before trapping him in the Masterlock for a submission victory. 06) Actagon, Proteus & Lightning (with Solaris) defeated Pit Viper, Splatter & Death Knight (with Darkos)* Six-man tag team action saw Solaris lead three-fourths of the Supreme Gods – Actagon, Proteus & Lightning – into battle with the Masked Assassins trio of Pit Viper, Splatter & Death Knight. Darkos, The Head Assassin, was at ringside for his men as well. This was a grudge match with great heat due to the Assassins having injured Man-Mountain at Deimos 52. This was a wild bout with both teams having chances to win. They fought as much outside the ring as they did inside and Darkos, attempting to avoid defeat for his men, twice attempted distractions. The finish of a furious bout saw Proteus score the pin on Death Knight after hitting a Flying Elbow Drop. 07) Star Warrior (Cetus) defeated Invincible Krakan (CTA-102)* One of the top rivalries in 2088 continues in 2089 with Star Warrior going one-on-one with Invincible Krakan of Society of Death. The two men had some torrid battles over the GWF Heavyweight Title and now both are set to compete in the upcoming tournament for the GWF InterPlanetary Championship. Star Warrior dominated from the open but was unable to put Krakan away. Krakan deftly avoided being put in position for the Nova Launch as he battled back throughout the match. The finishing sequence saw Krakan in control going for a knife-edge (ch) but Star Warrior countered that and nailed him with a Flying Dropkick (ch) to score the pin. 08) GWF Tag Team Titles: Gladiators of Aethra© defeated AniMen of Andromeda by DQ to retain the titles* The main event saw the AniMen of Andromeda, Incredible Badger & Battering Ram, make their second bid to win the GWF Tag Team Titles from the 2nd champions, the Gladiators of Aethra duo of Brute & Massacre. The Gladiators have been on an historic run as champions having held the belts since winning them from the then Flying Titans duo of Pit Viper & Pulsar at Deimos 17. The AniMen had the full support of the crowd in Columba who hoped to see a changing of the guard. Both teams were primed and ready and it showed as they engaged in a great championship match. The AniMen brought the fight to the champions and nearly won it when Battering Ram hit the Ram head butt on Massacre for a near fall. It was a wake up call for the Gladiators who began battling back with every weapon in their arsenal. They scored near falls on both AniMen, including Massacre hitting the Massacre Slam on Battering Ram. The AniMen mounted a comeback of their own but were unable to execute their tandem Andromeda Drop. That was key as the Gladiators stayed in it and later it was Brute hitting the Decapitator on Battering Ram. That looked to be it but Incredible Badger made a desperation save using a chair. That was all she wrote for the AniMen as the referee called for the bell. The Gladiators won by disqualification in what was a successful version twelve defense of the titles.

Rockin' on all cylinders, brotha! Let's do a Top 3 Countdown for this one... Shall we?
3/ The Supreme Gods (without the injured Man-Mountain) get a little payback against their Assassin rivals... Back when this game edition was originally released, I remember teaming Lightning & Proteus for an extended period of time while Actagon was having a bit of a singles run... They did quite well too!
2/ Mutant smashes Nexus over the head with the timekeeper's bell, leading to an upset victory for him and Khan over the highly talented TitanPower duo.
1/ Even though I have never considered myself a big fan of the Gladiators (especially when compared to most of my fellow promoters), it's IMPOSSIBLE to deny how they have dominated the tag team ranks in your fed... Twelve successful defenses... UNREAL!

Galaxian Wrestling Federation - 2089 - Puck Moon, Uranus 54 - New Globe Arena
01) Beauty & The Beast (with Sweet Thing) defeated Neptunian Space-Croppers
* The Neptunian Space-Croppers, Renegade & Beast-Rider, hit the ring for this opening match intent on getting the better of their rivals Beauty & The Beast. The duo of Vanity and his bodyguard The Creeper, now accompanied by Sweet Thing, have gotten off to a strong start in 2089 and looked to continue that. Renegade, enamored by Sweet Thing, the valet of Vanity, let that get the better of him here. He was distracted by her while fighting outside the ring and that allowed Beauty & The Beast to take over. It was a relentless assault that included Renegade being busted open before Vanity planted him with a Piledriver (ch) to score the pin.
02) Mad Jester (Unknown, with Royal Overlord) defeated Pulsar (Titan, Saturn)
* The conflicted Pulsar, having been betrayed by Pit Viper, may have made a mistake taking a match against Mad Jester, the unorthodox new member of the Royal Court. Accompanied by the Royal Overlord, Mad Jester looked like he had a little something to prove. After a brief offensive by Pulsar, Mad Jester took over and battered him including using a foreign object. It was over not long after as Mad Jester delivered a Piledriver (ch) and scored the pin.
03) Bounty Hunter (Orion, with Reynard B. Guile) defeated Lightning (Polaris, with Solaris)
* Solaris, God of Light, accompanied Norse Gods member Lighting to the ring for his match with Bounty Hunter who was accompanied by his manager Reynard B. Guile. With Man-Mountain currently out with an injury, Lightning was hoping to strike with a pivotal singles victory. That was not to be, however, as Bounty Hunter thwarted his opening move and locked on the Hunter’s Claw for a submission victory. It was a hugely impressive win for Bounty Hunter, much to the delight of his manager Guile.
04) Powerhouse defeated The Headsmen by DQ
* The large new team of Powerhouse, Massif & Earthquake, looked to build momentum as they faced The Headsmen, Executioner & Death Knight, of the Masked Assassins. Unfortunately for Powerhouse, Darkos, the mastermind behind the Masked Assassins, had something a little different in mind. At a key moment in the match, Darkos sent the Blood Brothers, Pit Viper & Splatter, into the ring for a four-on-two attack. Powerhouse won it by disqualification but that was of little concern as Earthquake was tied up in the ropes while Massif was victimized. It was brutal and, after GWF officials finally cleared the ring, Massif had to be carried to the back on a holo stretcher.
05) Commander Sam (USA, Earth) defeated Bishop Hell (Unknown) by DQ
* The popular Commander Sam faced the dangerous Bishop Hell in singles action. The crowd rallied behind Sam in hopes that he could defeat the Royal Court member. Bishop Hell had a great run on offense but after Sam countered an atomic drop desperation set in. Sam looked to be headed for a victory when Bishop Hell, regaining control, blasted him with Hellfire in full view of the referee. Commander Sam won it by disqualification but Bishop Hell showed just why he is considered one of the most treacherous wrestlers in the GWF.
06) Greek Gods vs. Blood Brothers was a Draw
* Tag team action was up next as the Greek Gods, Actagon & Proteus, representing the Supreme Gods led by Solaris, took on the Blood Brothers, Pit Viper & Splatter, of the Masked Assassins. The Greek Gods were on fire early, including Proteus hitting the Overhead Toss on Pit Viper. There was no pin attempt as Darkos sent out the Headsmen to interfere behind the referee’s back and it wound up with Proteus nearly pinned as a result. The Blood Brothers lived up to their team name as both men were busted open and bleeding from under their masks. That didn’t deter them and they stayed in the fight refusing to go down. Neither team was able to get the win and the end result was a time limit draw after a hellacious battle.
07) Thantos, Comrade Terror & Tongsoon of Cygnus defeated Star Warrior, Galactic Punisher & Mesmer
* A big six-man tag team feature attraction pitted the FDF team of Star Warrior, Galactic Punisher & Mesmer against the Galaxian Villains team of Thantos and Alien Corps, Comrade Terror & Tongsoon of Cygnus. This was a total war. Both teams had great runs on offense but strangely none of the six men could get their finishers in. That was until Galactic Punisher and Comrade Terror traded off theirs, Verdict and Atomic Warhead, for big near falls. From that point it was all hell breaking loose as both sides did their level best to win it. The finish came in surprise fashion as Tongsoon of Cygnus, narrowly avoiding a disqualification after spearing Star Warrior into the ring post, capitalized on that and hit Battle Cry on the popular star for the pin.
08) GWF Heavyweight Title: Wolf© (Andromeda 13, with Amazonia) defeated Spike (Aethra) to retain the title
* The main event saw the 7th GWF Heavyweight Champion Wolf, the only two-time title holder as well, put the belt on the line against former champion Spike. This return match from Colossal Conflicts 2, where Wolf regained the title, opened with Spike delivering bombs. Spike has been angry ever since that title loss but his early blitz nearly led to disaster. It was Wolf with a counter into a Savage Face Claw for a submission chance that was broken in the ropes. That was followed with a Face Rake and roll-up for a quick two count. Spike had to reel it in and he did, subsequently hitting the Super Destroyer for a big near fall.
The intensity kept building but when Spike delivered another Super Destroyer, Thantos surprisingly interfered to prevent a pin. Spike was furious as was Amazonia, Wolf’s unofficial manager, who began arguing with the “Gamemaster”. During all of this distraction, the Bounty Hunter and Reynard B. Guile showed up stalking Amazonia. Thantos took off as Wolf became distracted by Amazonia’s plight. Spike took advantage and unleashed another brutal offensive hoping to regain the title. Wolf somehow survived that, and with Amazonia now walled in by GWF officials, he caught Spike with another vicious Face Rake and rolled him up for the pin.
It was a successful version two title defense for Wolf, but one marred by some controversy. Wolf clutched the title belt and pulled Amazonia into the ring with him, glaring angrily at Bounty Hunter and Guile. Thantos, meanwhile, returned to ringside but was met head on by Spike. It was a big stare down between the “Gamemaster” and the young Gladiator of Aethra but cooler heads prevailed.
Bounty Hunter and Guile, who are allies of the Gladiators of Aethra, left ringside with Spike as Thantos grabbed the mic. He called out Wolf, claiming he earned a tainted victory in their main event at Colossal Conflicts 2. He said he wanted a rematch and that if Wolf had the, but Wolf cut him off. Howling at the Puck Moon of Uranus, Wolf accepted his title challenge and told the Galaxian Commission to sanction it.
Injury Report:
* Massif joined Man-Mountain as two big stars put out of action by Darkos and his Masked Assassins (Pit Viper, Splatter, Executioner & Death Knight). He suffered an injured left shoulder and at minimum will be out of action for the next three cards. His tag team partner in Powerhouse, Earthquake, is livid and has vowed revenge. In fact, he will get a chance at it as Earthquake will face Death Knight one-on-one at Deimos 55 under orders from the Galaxian Commission.

01) Actagon (Greece, Earth) vs. Splatter (Parts Unknown) was a Draw
* The opening contest featured the Supreme Gods represented by Actagon against the Masked Assassins represented by Splatter. The action was intense and included interference by the rest of the Masked Assassins, orchestrated by Darkos, allowing Splatter to score a near fall. Actagon weathered the storm and, late into it, avoided a corner charge by Splatter with a counter roll-up for a big near fall. With time running out, Actagon trapped Splatter in the Grecian Sleeper Grip but the masked man hung on ending the match in a time limit draw.
02) Pit Viper (Titan, Saturn) defeated Proteus (Greece, Earth)
* It was the Supreme Gods versus the Masked Assassins in match number two as well, or the Greek Gods against the Blood Brothers as Proteus took on Pit Viper. Proteus was dominant in this bout but when he hit the Overhead Toss it was Splatter interfering to prevent a pin. That changed the momentum allowing Pit Viper to have new life.
Proteus turned it around late but missed a corner charge allowing Pit Viper to execute a Counter Roll-Up while holding the ropes for a snake eyes pin. Splatter returned helping Pit Viper jump Proteus leading to Actagon making the save. That set off a wild brawl between the Greek Gods and the Blood Brothers, the end result being that the Galaxian Commission announced a match between the two teams at Deimos 56.
* After that match announcement, the Galaxian Commission had a major announcement to make and revealed that GWF Heavyweight Champion Wolf will put his title on the line against Thantos in a rematch from Colossal Conflicts 2. This came after the incident between the two men at Uranus 54. The championship match will be the main event when the GWF returns to the Niagara Tower of Lights in New York, USA, for Earth 58.
03) Royal Family defeated Neptunian Space-Croppers
* The Neptunian Space-Croppers, Renegade & Beast-Rider, faced the Royal Family of Exo-King & Killer Queen in tag team action. As part of the greater Royal Court managed by Royal Overlord, Exo-King and Killer Queen are looking to make a mark in the GWF tag team division. The popular Space-Croppers have been distracted of late, largely due to Renegade having fallen for Sweet Thing, the valet of their rival Vanity. It took a while for Renegade to gain focus during this match, much to the detriment of Beast-Rider. The Space-Croppers looked strong late but in the end Killer Queen trapped Beast-Rider in Checkmate winning the match via submission.
04) Fighting Titans (with Trainer Jim) defeated Society of Death by DQ
* The long standing rivalry between the Fighting Titans and the Society of Death once again took center stage. Trainer Jim accompanied Lord Nexus, Billy Jo Boxer & Pulsar to the ring where Invincible Krakan, Mutant & Ghengis Khan were waiting for battle. He proved to be a key factor, at one point saving Nexus from being pinned after Krakan delivered the Falling Face Slam. The Titans benefitted from Jim’s presence and mounted a big comeback after the Society of Death had a strong run on offense. The finish saw Boxer nail Krakan with the TKO but as he went for the pin both Mutant and Khan broke it up. They quickly disposed of Nexus and Pulsar and assaulted Boxer with double-team moves. The referee saw enough and called for the bell giving the Fighting Titans a disqualification win due to excessive double-teaming.
05) Death Knight (Altair) defeated Earthquake (Ceres)
* The 6’6” and 387-pound Earthquake was out for revenge against Death Knight after the Masked Assassins faction injured his tag team partner Massif at Uranus 54. Darkos, manager of the Masked Assassins, sent in the other three to interfere at one point but Earthquake kicked out of the pin. Earthquake showed great resilience, even twice surviving the Cosmic Lance, but was busted open and in a bad way late. Frustrated with being unable to put him away, Death Knight used a Loaded Glove on Earthquake to score the pin.
06) Star Warrior (Cetus) defeated Vanity (Nereid, Neptune, with Sweet Thing)
* Star Warrior, the heart and soul of the FDF, faced the arrogant Vanity, who was accompanied by his valet Sweet Thing. She would play a big role in the match providing some key distractions but ultimately it backfired. After Star Warrior hit a Nova Launch, she attempted a distraction but the referee instead ejected her from ringside! She refused to leave at first but ran off when a love struck Renegade came out and gave chase. Star Warrior quickly regained control and hit another Nova Launch on Vanity to score the pin.
* The Galaxian Commission made an announcement between matches that the winners of the upcoming tag team battle between the Bomb Squad and Alien Corps would compete for the GWF Tag Team Championship at Deimos 56. The crowd cheered as Bomb Squad, Commander Sam and the returning Adam Blast, hit the ring awaiting their rivals…
07) Alien Corps defeated Bomb Squad
* Adam Blast, returning from injury, was fired up as he and Commander Sam prepared to face the men that injured him in Alien Corps, Comrade Terror & Tongsoon of Cygnus. The intense rivalry was heated up even more with the tag team title shot going to the winners. This was nothing short of a war. The thirst for revenge by Bomb Squad may have cost them as they found themselves on the defensive after some costly mistakes. Alien Corps seemed very prepared, unleashing their finishers several times for near falls. Bomb Squad showed great resiliency but fell in the end when it was Comrade Terror hitting a second Atomic Warhead on Adam Blast for the pin.
08) Incredible Badger, Battering Ram & Reptillo defeated Brute, Massacre & Spike
* A big six-man tag team main event saw the AniMen of Andromeda trio of Incredible Badger, Battering Ram & Reptillo face GWF Tag Team Champions Gladiators of Aethra, Brute & Massacre, and former GWF Heavyweight Champion Spike. The AniMen have been after a signature win and they got it in an explosive bout. The Gladiators, perhaps sensing danger from a tag team title challenge by Alien Corps, looked a little off as the AniMen dominated on offense. Reptillo nearly put Spike away with the Lizard Clutch but he was saved by Brute and Massacre. The torrid pace continued into the final moments where Battering Ram, with Spike isolated, delivered a deathjump attack followed by an AniMen Ax Handle to score the pin. It was a huge win for the AniMen of Andromeda and a big setback for the Gladiators one night ahead of what could be a trap match against the vile villains of Alien Corps.

Galaxian Wrestling Federation - 2089 - Deimos 56 - Intergalactic Arena
01) Galactic Punisher (Cetus) defeated Mutant (Unknown)
* the popular Galactic Punisher, the supercop of the Federation Defense Fighters, faced Mutant of Society of Death in the opening contest. Punisher was a force of nature in this one, dominating from bell-to-bell. Mutant never stood a chance as Punisher came off the top rope with Verdict, a flying knee drop, to score the pin.
02) Bounty Hunter (Orion, with Reynard B. Guile) defeated Reptillo (Andromeda 13)
* There was no love lost here as the popular Reptillo took on Bounty Hunter, accompanied by Reynard B. Guile. Reptillo was taking up for his fellow AniMen of Andromeda who have become a target of Bounty Hunter and Guile. An interesting moment took place during this as Bounty Hunter had Reptillo in Animal Trap when suddenly Amazonia showed up at ringside. Her distraction allowed Reptillo to mount a counter-attack and lock in the Reptillo Claw Hold. Guile whined about her interference leading to the referee ejecting her from ringside. This later set up Guile involving himself as he tripped up Reptillo sending him right into Ambush! by Bounty Hunter for the pin.
03) The Headsmen (with Darkos) defeated Norse Gods (with Solaris) by DQ
* The return of Man-Mountain from injury saw him and Lightning, the Norse Gods, face the men that injured him in The Headsmen, Executioner & Death Knight. The Headsmen are part of the Masked Assassins faction run by Darkos who opted to accompany his men to ringside. That resulted in Solaris, leader of the Supreme Gods, accompanying his men to ringside as well. This created a very intense situation and no one was surprised at the nature of the result. The Norse Gods lost it by disqualification snake eyes style as Man-Mountain assaulted Executioner at ringside. It didn’t end there as both teams continued fighting post-match forcing a horde of GWF officials to break them up. No one was happy with the result and this rivalry is certainly headed to the next level.
04) Billy Jo Boxer (Titan, Saturn) defeated Ghengis Khan (Mongolia, Earth) by DQ
* A technical decision marred this classic Boxer vs. Karate matchup as Billy Jo Boxer of the Fighting Titans took on his rival Ghengis Khan of Society of Death. Boxer went at it alone, opting to have manager Trainer Jim return to the back after some pre-match discussion. This was a bitter battle that took place both in and out of the ring. Khan nearly took it early with a counter roll up on a missed corner charge followed by Twin Thrust. Boxer regrouped and scored a near fall as well with a counter running lariat out of the corner. Khan took it to the next level outside when, in his pursuit of Boxer with a chair, he tossed the referee aside resulting in a disqualification loss.
05) Mad Jester (Unknown, with Royal Overlord) defeated Pulsar (Titan, Saturn, with Trainer Jim)
* Trainer Jim was back out at ringside this time to stay as he accompanied Pulsar of the Fighting Titans. In the opposite corner was fellow manager Royal Overlord who led the crazed Mad Jester to the ring. A part of the Royal Court, Jester has proven to be a dangerous foe since his debut in the GWF at the start of 2089. He showed why as he roughed Pulsar up in and out of the ring, often trapping him in the Mad Sleeper Grip. Trainer Jim got involved providing distractions after Jester went for pins using a foreign object and his trademark Jagged Edge. Pulsar would rally back in impressive fashion but in the end it was Jester coming out on top as he scored the pin after an Atomic Drop.
06) Greek Gods defeated Blood Brothers by DQ
* Grudge tag team action resulted in a third technical decision on the card as the Greek Gods, Actagon & Proteus, faced the Blood Brothers, Pit Viper & Splatter. The respective managers Solaris and Darkos opted to not be at ringside for this one but in the end it would be clear there was a game plan by the latter. This was another intense brawl between two teams with no love lost for each other. The Greek Gods looked to be having their way late when the Blood Brothers got themselves disqualified as Splatter put Proteus through the timekeepers table. That left Actagon isolated in what would soon turn into a five-on-one assault.
Darkos lead Executioner and Death Knight to the ring where they joined the Blood Brothers in the attack. Actagon was brutally attacked in what was clearly a plan masterminded by Darkos. The Norse Gods headed down to the ring to help Actagon but were too late as the damage was done. Actagon had to be put on a holo-stretcher and taken to the back for medical observation.
07) Bishop Hell (Parts Unknown) defeated Mesmer (Dimension X)
* Two men who are certainly no strangers to each other squared of as Mesmer, Master of the Occult, faced Bishop Hell of the Royal Court. As expected this was a classic battle of good versus evil and one heck of a match to boot. Both men were on their “A” game and each had a chance to win it. Bishop Hell showed his ring smarts late when a Mystic Hammer could have led to defeat but he bailed out of the ring. Bishop Hell would use his controversial Hellfire on Mesmer but somehow the occult master kicked out of the pin. Mesmer would strike back hard but, after a battle on the floor, it was Bishop Hell connecting with the Flying Cross for the pin.
08) GWF Tag Team Titles: Gladiators of Aethra© defeated Alien Corps to retain the titles
* The Alien Corps of Comrade Terror & Tongsoon of Cygnus posed a serious threat as they challenged the dominant 2nd GWF Tag Team Champions the Gladiators of Aethra, Brute & Massacre. Crowd support was split for this main event between two heel teams but many in the crowd were hopeful of seeing the Gladiators relieved of the belts that they have held since 2087. Alien Corps did a great job of keeping the Gladiators on the defensive from the start. That included Terror planting Brute with the Atomic Warhead for a big near fall. The Gladiators fought back on the floor where both teams would spend plenty of time fighting. They almost won it by count out when Massacre speared Tongson into the guard rail. The intensity built throughout with both teams having chances to win. However, it was the Gladiators who prevailed when Brute pinned Tongsoon with the Decapitator. It was a successful version thirteen title defense for Brute and Massacre and one has to wonder who will be next to challenge and possibly end a now historic title reign.
Injury Report:
* Actagon of the Greek Gods was diagnosed with a right shoulder injury as a resulted of the brutal five-on-one attack by the Masked Assassins. He became the latest in a now long line of wrestlers injured by Darkos and his men. Proteus was visibly upset over what happened to his tag team partner and has vowed to seek vengeance. Solaris, the spiritual advisor of the Supreme Gods, urged Proteus to be aware of what could be a trap being set up by the Masked Assassins.
