Much as I enjoy a Fargo world title reign, Jack has become a big favorite of mine, so nice to see him win some gold. Fargo is pretty pissed off about it. Stay tuned to see how he takes out his frustrations.

10-20-21 MARKET SQUARE ARENA INDIANAPOLIS, IN Jackie Fargo w/Tracy Smothers, Road Dogg & Billy Gunn vs. Big Bully BusickReferee: Morgan Dollar Before the match even started, Dollar took charge and sent The Roughhouse Gang to the back. This infuriated Fargo and allowed Busick to gain an early advantage in his LOW debut. Fargo recovered and went on the offensive. Busick proved resilient, surviving several ATOMIC DROPS and a couple steel chair shots. Dollar grew uncomfortable with the escalating violence and disqualified Busick after he tossed Fargo through a ringside table.Leilani Kai w/Jimmy Hart vs. Toni RoseReferee: Dick Woehrle Rose gave quite the competitive showing in her debut and had Kai on the ropes a couple of times. Kai weathered the storm and pinned Rose with a RUNNING SPLASH.Brad Armstrong vs. Johnny SaintReferee: James Beard Saint made quick work of Armstrong, making him submit to the THREE IN ONE shortly after the opening bell.(Post-match: The Amazing French Canadians attacked Armstrong after the match and left him beaten and battered in the ring. Armstrong grabbed a mic, told the Canadians he had a partner and challenged them to a match at the next television taping.) Nora Greenwald vs. Fabulous MoolahReferee: Joey Marella Greenwald started the match fast and it was all Moolah could do to escape, which she did by rolling out of the ring. Greenwald followed and that proved to be her downfall as Moolah took over the offense and never relented. Moolah pinned Greenwald with a JACKKNIFE CRADLE.(Post-match: Moolah continued her assault as she signaled to the back. She was quickly joined in the ring by Toni Rose and Judy Martin, and the three of them pummeled Greenwald to near unconsciousness. The trio then began to destroy the ringside area, overturning tables, and throwing chairs, at one point nearly slapping a ringside fan, who got too close. Moolah then announced her Ladies Club was coming after the LOW World Women’s title and they wouldn’t stop until it was around one of their waists.) The Pitbulls w/Francine vs. Curt & Larry ‘The Axe’ HennigReferee: Morgan Dollar The Pitbulls tried to bully Dollar as the match started, but the Hennigs came to his aid. Both teams battled back and forth, executing multiple tags. The action eventually broke down as both teams brawled and both teams were disqualified.Frank Gotch vs. KonnanReferee: Dick Woehrle Konnan surprised Gotch early after countering a whip to the ropes with a piledriver and gained a near fall after a second one. Gotch recovered and went to work stretching his opponent from south of the border, ultimately making Konnan submit to a reverse nelson.Bobby Fulton vs. Ricky MortonReferee: Joey Marella Fulton and Morton exchanged briefly, but it wasn’t Morton’s night and Fulton rolled him up with a FANTASTIC CRADLE.George ‘The Animal’ Steele & British Bulldogs (Davey Boy Smith & Dynamite Kid) w/Lou Albano vs. ‘Hacksaw’ Jim Duggan, Ted DiBiase & Steve ‘Dr. Death’ Williams w/Terry GordyReferee: James Beard This match was over before it got started. Happy Friday Mad Kanter! Just caught up on all the grooviness here. Congrats to Jack Brisco and I am with TTX on this one I am also becoming a big fan of Jack Brisco. Truth be told I was a fan of his back in my Superstar Wrestling days. The Ladies Club is raising hell. Gotta love it. But In Mildred I trust. Great match summaries as always and really digging the "Post Match" section format. I am toying with that idea too but trying to find a place that is both typical and atypical. Keep on rockin my friend, looking forward to more. Hope all be good with you and yours!

Lou Thesz vs. Jim PowersReferee: James Beard Powers came out fast and surprised Thesz with a flurry, knocking him out of the ring. Thesz was not happy by this turn of events and returned to the ring with a chip on his shoulder. Thesz gained the advantage and took his time in punishing Powers before putting him away with a GRECO ROMAN BACKDROP.(Postmatch: Thesz is standing over the defeated Powers when he is attacked from behind by George Hackenschmidt. Leilani Kai w/Jimmy Hart vs. Jazz w/ Teddy LongReferee: Dick Woehrle This match turned into an all about brawl after a back and forth battle outside the ring, where both women exchanged suplexes on the concrete floor. Jazz had Kai reeling and Hart decided to get involved, trying to smash Jazz with the megaphone, but he nailed Kai instead. Jazz immediately locked in an STF, but Kai somehow made her way to the ropes. The battle continued as both women became fatigued. Hart was finally able to get the megaphone to Kai, who clocked Jazz with it. Kai covered Jazz, but Long distracted the ref. Hart and Long got into an argument at ringside and Woehrle had had enough and threw the match out, declaring it a no contest.(COMMERCIAL) (Gordon Solie interviews the bWo, who complain about continuing to not get any respect even when it’s obvious they are the most talented trio in LOW. They tell Solie how they will prove it by going out and beating their opponents tonight.) bWo (Stevie Richards, Blue Meanie & Super Nova) vs. Konnan, Juventud Guerrera & Super CrazyReferee: Morgan Dollar Both teams battled before the match broke down and all six men brawled outside the ring. Solie adds that there seems to be some real bad blood between the two teams and he isn’t sure if this one match will settle it.) Lou Thesz & Ed ‘Strangler’ Lewis vs. George Hackenscmidt & Alexis SmirnoffReferee: James Beard The match progressed evenly until Thesz and Hackenschmidt were in the ring together. Both men tore into one another brutally. The action continued back and forth until Thesz pinned Hackenschmidt with a THESZ PRESS.(Russell talks about how grueling the match was, as did Solie, who commented on what great athletes all four men are. Russell wrapped up the show and invited fans to tune in next time.) PRIMEHosted by Gorilla Monsoon & Bobby ‘The Brain’ Heenan
(Monsoon welcomes everyone to the broadcast and introduces Heenan as his co-host. Heenan interrupts and says he’s the host. Rock N Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) vs. James Gang (Kip & BG James)Referee: Morgan Dollar The James Gang had full control of this match, but it got away from them when the action spilled out of the ring. Kip grabbed a chair and despite Dollar’s warnings smashed it over the back of Morton, leaving Dollar no choice but to call for the disqualification.(COMMERCIAL) (Monsoon welcomes fans back and talks about how former champ Jackie Fargo is attempting to get back into title contention, but has a big test on the program as he faces Bob Backlund. Heenan calls Backlund Howdy Doody and doesn’t see how Fargo will have any problem beating his opponent tonight.) Jackie Fargo vs. Bob BacklundReferee: Joey Marella Fargo looked to gain the early advantage by brutalizing Backlund outside the ring. The match progressed with Fargo getting more and more violent, but Backlund was able to fend him off. The action spilled out of the ring once again, where Fargo found a metal pipe and smashed Backlund with it. Marella saw what transpired and disqualified Fargo.(COMMERCIAL) (Monsoon sends it Lance Russell, who is standing by with a special guest. Lance Russell introduces World Heavyweight Champion Jack Brisco and they discuss how Brisco welcomes all challengers. ‘Nature Boy’ Buddy Rogers comes out and trades barbs with the champ. The action returned to the ring and both women continued to battle. Moolah eventually gained the advantage and pinned Robin with a JACKKNIFE CRADLE.(COMMERCIAL) Danny Hodge vs. Johnny SaintReferee: Morgan Dollar This match was a classic. Saint dominated most of the early going, trying to wear Hodge down with multiple holds. Hodge survived and capitalized on his strength advantage, gaining a couple of near falls. Saint made a comeback and after things got a little chippy outside the ring was able to gain the submission with the THREE-IN-ONE.(Monsoon comments on what an outstanding match it was while Heenan seems to be preoccupied with something else. When Monsoon questions him, Heenan says there’s a fly in the studio. Monsoon says he doesn’t see a fly. Heenan retorts with Monsoon needing glasses before Monsoon sends it to their colleague Gordon Solie, who is standing by to tell us about where Legends of Wrestling will be next. Gordon Solie thanks Monsoon then tells fans their next two television tapings at Midson Square Garden and The Spectrum in Philadelphia are both sold out, but tickets are still available for the non-televised live shows in Washington, D.C. and Richmond, VA.) (COMMERCIAL) (Monsoon welcomes the fans back and talks about how excited he is for the next television taping at the mecca, Madison Square Garden. Heenan responds by explaining how much history there is at Madison Square Garden before slapping the table, narrowly missing “the fly”. Monsoon seemingly irritated with Heenan comments on the world famous Road Warriors being featured in the next match and making their first appearance in Legends of Wrestling. Heenan comments on how Hawk and Animal have won titles all over the world and now they want to add the LOW World Tag Team Titles to their collection. Monsoon says they will have their work cut out for them in this match against the father-son tandem of Curt & Larry ‘The Axe’ Hennig) Curt & Larry 'The Axe' Hennig vs. Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal)Referee: James Beard This match was brutal. The Hennigs looked to be up to the task as the Road Warriors isolated Curt early on and beat the crap out of him. Curt absorbed every bit of punishment before making it to his corner for the tag. Larry came in and matched power with the Roadies. The action continued back and forth, inside and outside the ring, with both teams executing multiple tags. Unfortunately for the Hennigs, all the high impact moves began to take their toll. The Roadies were able to get the victory when Animal pinned Curt following the DOOMSDAY DEVICE.(Monsoon talks about how the Road Warriors are going to be a force to be reckoned with in Legends of Wrestling then announces that the main event is coming up next.) (COMMERCIAL) (Monsoon welcomes the fans back and talks about the accolades of the men involved in the show’s main event. Heenan is still trying to kill the fly, but mentions how he knows what kind of talent Harley Race is and says to never bet against him.) Ed ‘Strangler’ Lewis vs. Harley RaceReferee: Joey Marella Both men spent several minutes exchanging moves before Race seemed to take over, hitting big move after big move. Lewis was able to stage a bit of a comeback, but Race stayed the course and put Lewis away with a PILEDRIVER.(Monsoon commented on Race’s deliberate pace and precision execution of high impact moves as reasons he was victorious. Heenan slaps the table again, rejoicing in finally killing the fly then notices a second fly flying around his head. Monsoon calls Heenan ridiculous before inviting fans to tune in next time.
