It seemed as if Bagwell was going to win the match for his team as he tagged in after Scorpio had Larry reeling, but Hennig immediately countered Bagwell’s attack and pinned him after THE AXE.Post match: Scorpio seemed pretty frustrated as Long and Hughes had to actually stand between the two partners, but cooler heads prevailed and all four men returned to the back. (COMMERCIAL) (Russell welcomes the fans back to the program and announces it’s time for the main event. Solie explains how the former champ, Fargo, has been clamoring for this rematch for weeks and now he finally has his opportunity to regain the title. Heenan corrects him, claiming to be the actual host of the show. Monsoon tells Heenan then he should give the rundown of the show. Heenan rebuts that Monsoon is not the boss of him and since Heenan is the host he gives the orders. Monsoon says fine, then what does Heenan want to do. Heenan asks Monsoon if he has the show rundown because Heenan has seemed to have misplaced his. Monsoon says he does and Heenan then tells him to run down the show then. Monsoon does just that focusing on the main event, the scaffold title match between the Road Warriors and World Tag Team Champions Midnight Express.) George Hackenschmidt vs. ‘Wild’ Bull Curry w/ Capt. Lou AlbanoReferee: Bryce Remsburg Hackenschmidt used his wrestling skill to control Curry early on, locking in the RUSSIAN BEARHUG, but not able to get the victory. Heenan says he heard that Regal said some unkind things about Guerrera’s family in Mexico. Monsoon calls Heenan a fountain of misinformation before sending it to their colleague Gordon Solie who is standing by with Guerrera prior to his match with Regal’s friend, Mike Graham. Solie confronts Guerrera about his attacks on Regal and Guerrera responds by saying he is proving that Regal is not electric with the fans, but that Guerrera is, and he wants to be known as the real Mr. Electricity. Solie says that’s highly unlikely and Guerrera says he will go out and prove it against a man who is just as un-electric as Regal.) Mike Graham vs. Juventud GuerreraReferee: Joey Marella Guerrera was all over Graham and pinned him with a 450 SPLASH.(Monsoon comments on how Guerrera really put his money where his mouth is and Heenan responds by saying he’d like to introduce everyone to the new Mr. Electricity. Monsoon said he’s not quite sure he’s at that point yet, but he is definitely making a strong argument. Monsoon then sends it back to their colleague Gordon Solie, who has information on how the fans can see LOW action live. Gordon Solie explains that the TV tapings in Montreal and Toronto are sold out, but there are still great seats available for the TV tapings in Detroit, MI and Chicago, IL, as well as house shows in Milwaukee, WI and Rosemont, IL.) (COMMERCIAL) The Grappler & Long Riders (‘Wild’ Bill & Scott ‘Hog’ Irwin) vs. D’Lo Brown & PG-13 (JC Ice & Wolfie D)Referee: Dick Woehrle There was a lot of back and forth brawling in this one. We go to a video segment of Monsoon and Heenan shopping with ‘Sensational’ Sherri Martel. Martel tries on and models several outfits, including some lingerie. Ultimately Heenan is left carrying everything that Martel has bought and stumbles trying to put everything in the trunk of the town car, falling head first into the trunk.) ‘Sensational’ Sherri Martel vs. Trish StratusReferee: Bryce Remsburg This was a wild match in which a lot of it took place outside the ring. Martel turned this in to a very brutal contest with several hard-hitting moves. Stratus was up to it though and gave as good as she got. Martel looked to have things going here way, but telegraphed a back body drop, enabling Stratus to surprise her with a sunset flip for the pinfall victory.(Lance Russell welcomes Stratus to the interview area and congratulates her on her hard fought victory. Stratus thanks Russell and claims she’s ready for a shot at the women’s world title. Suddenly, Russell says, “Look out!” as Stratus is attacked from behind by Leilani Kai. Jimmy Hart is giving directions through his megaphone as Kai beats Stratus down then delivers a heinous piledriver on the concrete floor. Stratus is out as Martel finally rushes over to run Kai off and check on the fallen Stratus.) (COMMERCIAL) (Monsoon welcomes the fans back to the program then comments on the attack on Stratus before the break, remarking that Kai as well as Hart could be looking at a suspension. Heenan questions why Hart should be punished, since he didn’t lay any hands on Stratus. Monsoon counters with he was obviously the mastermind behind the assault. Heenan tells Monsoon that he assumes too much. Monsoon then segues and announces we’re probably about to see another assault as it’s time for our main event.) WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE SCAFFOLD MATCH Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal) vs. World Tag Team Champions Midnight Express (‘Beautiful’ Bobby Eaton & ‘Loverboy’ Dennis Condrey) w/ Jim CornetteReferees: James Beard & Joey Marella It is announced before the match that both members of a team have to be removed from the scaffold before the other team is declared the winner. The Road Warriors make their way up the scaffold first. The champs are very hesitant to climb the scaffold until it is announced that if they refuse to climb the scaffold and start the match, they will be stripped of the titles and they will automatically be awarded to the Road Warriors. Cornette is beside himself with this announcement then huddles up with his men. After a brief convo Eaton and Condrey make their way up their side of the scaffold. The action was slow as all four men attempted to keep their balance atop the scaffold. As the action carried on, Eaton paired off with Hawk while Condrey battled Animal. Condrey managed to injure Animal’s knee with a chop block, which put Animal at a disadvantage. Animal could barely stand and Condrey forced Animal over the side of the scaffold. Animal held on as long as he could, but Condrey stomped Animals hands, forcing Animal to lose his purchase on the scaffold and fall to the mat below. Now it was two on one as the Midnights attempted to double team Hawk. Hawk fought the Midnights off as long as he could, but the numbers proved to be too much and Hawk was sent to the mat below allowing the Midnight Express to retain the titles.(Monsoon comments on how dangerous a match of that caliber is and how it will take years of a wrestler’s career. Heenan responds by saying he expects the Road Warriors to retire tomorrow. Monsoon tells Heenan to please stop before thanking the fans for watching and inviting them to tune in next time.)
