07-19-21 TULSA CONVENTION CENTER TULSA, OK Mildred Burke vs. Francine(Referee: Joey Marella) Burke was not at all pleased to be facing someone she thought was clearly below her and had no problem telling both Francine and Marella. Francine came to fight though and gained an early advantage. Burke battled back, but Francine continued to hold her own until both women collided with a double clothesline. Burke recovered first and pinned Francine with the ALLIGATOR CLUTCH. Johnny Saint vs. Lanny Poffo(Referee: James Beard) Saint took control of this match early and never gave up the advantage, pinning Poffo with a double arm stretch and cradle.‘Cowboy’ Bob Orton, Jr. & Don Muraco w/Mr. Fuji vs. Curt & Larry ‘The Axe’ Hennig(Referee: Dick Woehrle) This was a fairly even match with both teams executing multiple tags and gaining several near falls. Woehrle kept order throughout most of the match, but as the action began to escalate, Woehrle grew tired of both teams’ antics. Hennig locked Orton in a bear hug and Woehrle called for the bell, saying Orton quickly submitted.(Post match: Orton, Muraco and Fuji accost Woehrle in the ring after the match, but the Hennigs return quickly and a wild brawl erupts. Other referees and officials are finally able to return order after several minutes of intense fighting.) Jackie Fargo vs. Terry ‘Bamm Bamm’ Gordy(Referee: Joey Marella) Gordy opened up strong, but Fargo came out of the turnbuckle with a hard clothesline, turning the match in his favor. Fargo didn’t let up and beat Gordy with a roaring forearm.Leilani Kai w/Jimmy Hart vs. Candi Devine(Referee: James Beard) Several times throughout the match Kai thought she had gained the victory, but Devine proved resilient and kept kicking out of the pin attempts. Eventually Kai got the better of Devine and pinned her with a RUNNING SPLASH.Ricky Morton vs. Tommy Rogers(Referee: Dick Woehrle) This match was a fast-paced, spirited affair that started out with a handshake in a show of good sportsmanship. Morton pinned Rogers with a CROSS BODY BLOCK.Midnight Express (‘Beautiful’ Bobby Eaton & ‘Loverboy’ Dennis Condrey) w/Jim Cornette vs. The Bolsheviks (Boris Zhukov & Nikolai Volkoff)(Referee: Joey Marella) This match was a classic as both teams battled back and forth. The Midnights isolated Volkoff at one point and he was forced to endure quite a bit of punishment before countering a high risk move by Condrey from the top turnbuckle. It gave Volkoff the opening he needed to tag Zhukov. Zhukov ended up battling both Midnights and looked to have the upper hand before missing a turnbuckle charge. Zhukov crashed into the corner and Condrey rolled him up for the 1-2-3.Jack Brisco vs. Johnny Mantel(Referee: James Beard) This Texas vs. Oklahoma rivalry match didn’t last long as Brisco gained an early advantage and made Mantel succumb to a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK shortly thereafter.

Jumping on this early. I am also running official LOW only fed. No boots allowed!
Oklahoma over Texas again and not just on the gridiron.
Any idea if you plan on running Gordy singles only or if you'll team him with Steve Williams?

Any idea if you plan on running Gordy singles only or if you'll team him with Steve Williams? For now I'm just running him as a single, but I imagine I will team him up with Williams at some point.

07-21-21 HIRSCH MEMORIAL COLISEUM SHREVEPORT, LA Jim Brunzell vs. Tyler Black(Referee: James Beard) This was a high tempo, spirited match that saw both men gain some early near falls. In the end Brunzell got the duke with a HIGH FLYING DROPKICK.Beverly Shade vs. Melina(Referee: Joey Marella) After a brief back and forth where Shade tried to overpower Melina and Melina countered with her speed and agility, Melina gained the advantage and beat Shad with the LAST CALL.(Gorilla welcomes everyone to the program and introduces his co-host, Heenan. Monsoon and Heenan banter briefly on how excited they are for the debut episode of the show and the great action on the program including the team of Mad Dog Vachon and The Crusher being in action as well as Ida Mae Martinez and Jim Londos. Monsoon then explains that all the matches on the program come from the Hirsch Memorial Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisiana. Heenan responds by making an off-handed comment about Shreveport being the armpit of the state. Monsoon: Will you please stop. Heenan: You calling me a liar? Monsoon quickly changes the subject and directs attention to the first match on the show. Monsoon comments on what a talented wrestler George Hackenschmidt is and how many championships he’s won in his native country while Heenan comments on him being just another ham and egger trying to get famous by losing to superior American talent.) Doug Gilbert vs. George Hackenschmidt(Referee: Dick Woehrle) Hackenschmidt put on a clinic and flat outwrestled Gilbert. Gilbert made very little headway offensively as Hackenschmidt would quickly counter Gilbert when he attempted to go on the offensive. Hackenschmidt finally put Gilbert out of his misery with a cobra clutch suplex.COMMERCIAL (Monsoon and Heenan discuss how wild the next match is going to be and how “the official will have his hands full with this one.”) The Pitbulls w/Francine vs. Mad Dog Vachon & The Crusher(Referee: James Beard) Crusher and Vachon gained an early advantage and rode that all the way to victory, dominating most of the match. Vachon pinned Pitbull 1 after a running knee lift.COMMERCIAL ‘Sweet’ Stan Lane w/Jim Cornette, ‘Beautiful’ Bobby Eaton & ‘Loverboy’ Dennis Condrey vs. Stevie Richards(Referee: Joey Marella) Richards had the numbers against him, but proved resilient. After a long, grueling match in which Richards had to deal with distraction after distraction, Richards beat Lane with a STEVIE KICK.(The scene cuts to a festival, where Monsoon, Heenan and Ida Mae Martinez are judging a yodelling competition. All are dressed in traditional Swiss attire, but Heenan seems to have put his on backward. Heenan looks ridiculous and spends the entire time complaining about the smell of the livestock at the festival. Finally, Monsoon tells Heenan if he's so miserable why doesn't he just leave, which Heenan does, but in his haste, Heenan stumbles, nearly missing a goat then falls into the pile of defecation the goat had just left.) Nora Greenwald vs. Ida Mae Martinez(Referee: Dick Woehrle) Martinez came out of the gates quickly, but Greenwald countered when the action spilled out of the ring. Greenwald returned the action to the ring with the advantage and never let up, beating Martinez with a FLIPPING SEATED SENTON.COMMERCIAL (Monsoon and Heenan talk about how great the action was in the last match and how exciting it is to see LOW action when it comes to your town. Monsoon then throws it to our good friend Gordon Solie, who is standing by to tell us where LOW will be next. Solie: Thanks Gorilla, wrestling fans the LOW will continue it's tour through the South and Mid-South areas, making stops at the Dothan Civic Center, the Knoxville Civic Coliseum and the fabled Mid-South Coliseumin Memphis. Next up though is a big card at The Superdome in New Orleans, four different LOW World Champions will be crowned. Tickets are still available, but going fast. Don't miss out on your chance to catch all the great LOW action in a town near you. We'll be right back.) (COMMERCIAL) Jim Londos vs. Tracy Smothers(Referee: James Beard) Smothers looked to take Londos off his game using a rough house style of brawling, but Londos countered well, using submission holds in an attempt to keep Smothers under control and wear him down. The match was fairly even throughout, but Londos’ strategy took its toll and Londos pinned an exhausted Smothers after an AIRPLANE SPIN.(COMMERCIAL) (Back in the studio, Monsoon announces how the next match is the featured contest of the program. Moonsoon and Heenan discuss how great the debut show has been and how this next match should just be the icing on the cake.) Ivan Koloff & Ray ‘The Crippler’ Stevens vs. The Gang (Road Dogg & Billy Gunn)(Referee: Joey Marella) This match was a brutal brawl from the opening bell. Gunn absorbed a lot of punishment in the early going, but managed to tag out and The Gang gained the advantage. The action continued back and forth until Gunn planted Koloff with a press slam and made the pin.(Post match: Suddenly Jackie Fargo and Tracy Smothers hit the ring, joining The Gang in a vicious beat down of Koloff and Stevens. After leaving Koloff and Stevens in a heap, the foursome exited the ring and unleashed chaos on anything they could get their hands on, including a couple of fans at ringside. Fargo grabed a mic to introduce everyone to The Roughhouse Gang and claimed they are taking over. Officials and the other referees finally regained order, but the damage has been done.) (Monsoon and Bobby wrap up the show by talking about what everyone just witnessed. Heenan commented on how if you want something you just have to go out and take it, which is exactly what The Roughhouse Gang did. Monsoon replies by saying there's a right way and a wrong way to do things and Monsoon did not agree with how The Roughhouse Gang handled their business. Monsoon closes out the program by thanking the fans for tuning in and he looks forward to when they join them next time.)
