WWL Fall 90
Week 3
Mexico City Fire (1-1) @ Chicago Muscle (1-1)
(O) Cannibal (C) beat Solider of Fortune (MC) with Throat Slit. Time: 7:24 Fatigue: Soldier of Fortune-1 (MC) Massif (C) beat Actagon (MC) with Scorpion Deathlock. Time: 3:36 Fatigue: none (ME) Bounty Hunter (C) beat Chaos (MC) with Ambush. Time: 10:46 Fatigue: Chaos-1
Winner: Chicago 3-0
Injuries: None
NOTES: The home team just rolled getting the sweep. --- Actagon was visibly dealing with injuries and thus he did not last long in the Mid-Card --- In the Main Event the fans got to Chaos and he was as focused on the match as he should be. Bounty Hunter used Hunter's Claw right before the finish as he is starting to do. --- At the post-game press conference Actagon says looking back he should have listened to the team doctors and sat out this week. He thinks he will sit out next week unless he feels better. He does not want to hurt the Fire's chance of winning.
Rome Empire (1-1) @ Barcelona Conquistadors (1-1)
(O) Spike (R) beat Lord Nexus (B) with Megadestroyer. Time: 13:59 Fatigue: Spike-2, Lord Nexus-2 (MC) Pegasus (B) beat Vigilante (R) with Total Submission. Time: 11:00 Fatigue: Vigilante-4 Pegasus-2 (ME) Raven (R) beat Iron Mane (B) via DQ. Time: 6:22 Fatigue: Iron Mane-3
Winner: Rome 2-1
Injuries: None
NOTES: Spike continues his resurgent season by picking up another win. --- The Mid-Card saw a solid match between two rookies who seem to have bright futures ahead of them. --- In the Main Event another rookie, Raven, was rolling. He hit both of his finishers early in the match to wear Iron Mane down. Later after Iron Mane got in some offense Raven left the ring. Mane seemed upset to see his flow broken up and went out after Raven. After giving Iron Mane a DDT onto a chair the ref ended the match. This is Iron Mane's first DQ of the season.
New York Titans (1-1) @ Toronto Juggernauts (1-1)
(O) Whiplash (NY) beat Matter (T) with Thumbscrew. Time: 11:31 Fatigue: Matter-3 (MC) Dragonmaster (NY) beat Dreggs (T) with Dragon Drop. Time: 2:32 Fatigue: none (ME) Galactic Punisher (NY) beat Battering Ram (T) after a failed sunset flip when he just sat down. Time: 3:28 Fatigue: none
Winner: New York 3-0
Injuries: Matter has a mild injury but it should not affect him.
NOTES: Before the week started Toronto signed FA Tongsoon to a 1 season contract for $100K to fill the spot that Dreadnaught left when he went on IR --- Tongsoon started on the bench as everyone moved up a spot in the rotation and Matter made his season debut. --- Whiplash almost won with his finisher around the 5-minute mark but eventually did put Matter away with it. --- Dragonmaster made short work of Dreggs and secured the game win for New York --- Galactic Punisher was looking to bounce back from his quick loss last week and he got a pretty fast win himself. --- With the sweep, New York may decide to stay on the road as so far this season they have had more success on the road than at home.
Paris Legion (1-1) @ London Red Coats (1-1)
(O) Justice (P) beat Mad Jester (L) with a failed sunset flip he turned into a choke slam. Time: 3:05 Fatigue: none (MC) Mayhem (P) beat Lance At-Las (L) with Leap Of Doom. Time: 3:34 Fatigue: none (ME) Star Warrior (L) beat Massacre (P) with Cosmic Big Bang. Time: 5:03 Fatigue: Star Warrior-3
Winner: Paris 2-1
Injuries: None
NOTES: Mad Jester continues to be a disappointment for London in the Opening match position. They sure do miss Incredible Badger --- Mayhem, much like Spike, continues his redemption tour by picking up another win. This one secured the victory for Paris as London continues to struggle. --- Massacre wanted the sweep as he came at Warrior hard. A Gladiator Piledriver and The Cleansing both brought two counts. Warrior fought back and ended the match with his amazing finisher.
Los Angeles Stars (1-1) @ Las Vegas Aces (1-1)
(O) Invincible Krakan (LA) beat Quasar (LV) with Falling Face Slam. Time: 14:16 Fatigue: Invincible Krakan-1, Quasar-2 (MC) Exo-King (LV) beat Splatter (LA) via DQ. Time: 8:21 Fatigue: Splatter-2 (ME) Thantos (LV) beat Bishop Hell (LA) with Masterlock. Time: 2:01 Fatigue: none
Winner: Las Vegas 2-1
Injuries: None
NOTES: Quasar was making his WWL debut. Word is Pulsar Prime is not injured but the Aces were being cautious. He hit a High Roller finisher early and actually got a 2 1/2. Then it was mostly Krakan as he got LA off to a nice start --- In the Mid-Card, Splatter was rolling when Exo-King left the ring. That upset Splatter who rolled to the floor, grabbed the club he brings with him to the ring and thrust it forward into King's gut. That caused the DQ, the first of the season for Splatter --- Thantos felt the team win was close and he went out and dominated the action. As soon as Hell hit the mat for the first time and was down Thantos slapped on his finisher and got the win.
Highlight Match of the Week.
Frankfurt Knights (2-0) @ Glasgow Rangers (0-2)
(O) Incredible Badger (G) beat Wolf (F) with Burrow Blast. Time: 19:31 Fatigue: Wolf-4, Incredible Badger-2 (MC) Encubus (F) beat King Lear (G) with Second Coming. Time: 3:23 Fatigue: King Lear-1 (ME) Matador of M83 (F) beat Bloodline (G) with Bullwhip. Time: 3:00 Fatigue: Bloodline-1
Winner: Frankfurt 2-1
Injuries: None
NOTES: Incredible Badger is the rare man that can see Wolf across the ring in the Opening match and not bat an eye. Wolf went for an early cover and almost got the win. Then a bit later he applied Savage Face Claw but Badger broke free. At the end Badger went at Wolf non-stop. He hit three straight Burrow Blasts but did not get the pin. He went to the top rope and hit a flying elbow. Feeling he had Wolf vulnerable he went with another Burrow Blast and got the three count. After the match Wolf smiled at Badger and shook his hand. --- Encubus continues his impressive rookie campaign. He used Maffei Masterlock to soften King Lear up then hit Second Coming to get the win and even the game up. --- Matador of M83 wanted to show he belonged in the Main Event so he went right at the rookie Bloodline and finished him off fairly quickly. --- Frankfurt remains undefeated while Glasgow continues to look for their first victory of the season.

WWL Fall 90
Week 4
Chicago Muscle (2-1) @ Toronto Juggernauts (1-2)
(O) Matter (T) beat Cannibal (C) via DQ. Time: 4:38 Fatigue Matter-2 (MC) Massif (C) beat Dreggs (T) with Volcanic Drop. Time: 4:37 Fatigue: Massif-2, Dreggs-3 (ME) Battering Ram (T) beat Bounty Hunter (C) via DQ. Time: 8:48 Fatigue: Bounty Hunter-2, Battering Ram-1
Winner: Toronto 2-1
Injuries: None
NOTES: This was probably not the way Toronto wanted to win, earning to match victories via DQ, but they will take the win. --- In the Opening match Cannibal got caught using a wire with his finisher. This is his second DQ this season meaning he will be suspended one week --- After Massif evened up the game it came down to the Main Event. The end of the match saw Battering Ram leave the ring and Bounty Hunter go out after him. He attacked Ram but no DQ. They go back into the ring and Hunter tosses Ram out to the floor. When the ref tried to stop Hunter from going out after him Hunter shoved the ref and the ref fell thru the ropes to the floor. That is when the ref finally called for the bell. This is Bounty Hunter's first DQ of the season
Barcelona Conquistadors (1-2) @ Glasgow Rangers (0-3)
(O) Lord Nexus (B) beat Incredible Badger (G) with Titan Drop. Time: 10:15 Fatigue: Lord Nexus-1, Incredible Badger-2 (MC) King Lear (G) beat Pegasus (B) via DQ. Time: 13:52 Fatigue: King Lear-1 (ME) Iron Mane (B) beat Bloodline (G) via DQ. Time: 8:48 Fatigue: Bounty Hunter-2, Battering Ram-1
Winner: Barcelona 2-1
Injuries: None
NOTES: Incredible Badger got a rare loss in the Opening match. --- In the Mid-Card match, Pegasus tried to finish King Lear with Total Submission but King escaped. Pegasus got mad. He was still steaming a bit later when he left the ring. King Lear went after him and Pegasus brutally attacked him. He ignored the ref's orders to stop and return to the ring and even shoved the ref away. That resulted in the DQ. It was the first DQ for Pegasus this season. It was also the first win for King Lear this season. --- In the Main Event, at the end of the match Bloodline tossed Iron Mane out of the ring and went after him. Iron Mane grabbed him and tossed him into some ringside seats set up for the production crew. Bloodline lost his cool and instinctively grabbed a chair and tossed it at Iron Mane resulting in the DQ. This is Bloodline's first DQ of the season. --- What a wild start to the week. 4 DQs in the first 6 matches.
New York Titans (2-1) @ Los Angeles Stars (1-2)
(O) Invincible Krakan (LA) beat Whiplash (NY) via DQ. Time: 4:48. Fatigue: Invincible Krakan-1 (MC) Splatter (LA) beat Dragonmaster (NY) with piledriver. Time: 5:41 Fatigue: Splatter-1 (ME) Galactic Punisher (NY) beat Bishop Hell (LA) with Punisher Smash. Time: 3:56 Fatigue: Bishop Hell-3
Winner: Los Angeles 2-1
Injuries: Bishop Hell has a mild injury but will be fine to go next week.
NOTES: Another game and another DQ. At least there was only one this time. --- In the Opening match Whiplash hit Neck Whiplash on Invincible Krakan and made a cover but only got a two. He tossed Krakan out of the ring and went after him. A wild brawl ensued that saw Whiplash get the DQ. This is his second of the season so he will be suspended one week. --- Dragonmaster used Cobra Nerve Stopper and almost got the W. Later Splatter tossed Dragonmaster out of the ring and did the wise thing and waited in the ring for him to crawl back in. He then hit the piledriver for the win. --- LA had won the game but Galactic Punisher did not want his team to be swept. Early in the match he he came off the top rope with an elbow to Bishop Hell's head and made a cover. Then he hit Verdict and got a very close 2 1/2 count. He followed that up with Life Sentence and got a two count. After some more offense he hit a temple chop and the Punisher Smash for the victory.
London Red Coats (1-2) @ Frankfurt Knights (3-0)
(O) Wolf (F) beat Chopper Mattock (L) with Savage Face Claw. Time: 4:59 Fatigue: Chopper Mattock-1 (MC) Encubus (F) beat Lance At-Las (L) with Maffei Masterlock. Time: 2:57 Fatigue: Lance At-Las-2 (ME) Star Warrior (L) beat Matador of M83 via DQ. Time: 7:17 Fatigue: Matador-3
Winner: Frankfurt 2-1
Injuries: Matador of M83 has light injury and is questionable for next week. He might be able to go but the team will not know for sure until later in the week.
NOTES: Trying to get a win in the Opening match London swapped out Mad Jester for Chopper Mattock. Maybe not the best decision considering their opponent this week. Not a fun way to make your WWL debut. --- Encubus made short work of last season's Rookie of the Season as he made his case to be this season's Rookie. He used a Second Coming right before applying the Masterlock. With the win Frankfurt won the game and remains undefeated. --- Star Warrior was determined his team would not be shutout. He hit a Cosmic Big Bang early in the match but only got a two count. Toward the end of the match Matador left the ring and ended up grabbing Warrior's legs and pulled him out. He tossed Warrior back first into the ring then rolled him into the ring. In the ring Matador decided to toss Warrior out and went after him. Warrior scooped him up and body slammed him onto the floor. The ref ordered them back into the ring. Once in Warrior tosses Matador out and goes out himself. Matador lifts Warrior up and slams his back into the ring post. The ref thought that was too far and called for the bell. This is Matador of M83's first DQ of the season.
Mexico City Fire (1-2) @ Las Vegas Aces (2-1)
(O) Pulsar Prime (LV) beat Jack of Diamonds (MC) with Solar Strain. Time: 28:22 Fatigue: Jack of Diamonds-5, Pulsar Prime-3 (MC) Soldier of Fortune (MC) beat Exo-King (LV) with The Revenger. Time: 11:29 Fatigue: Soldier of Fortune-1, Exo-King-2 (ME) Thantos (LV) beat Chaos (MC) with a double knee lift. Time: 11:10 Fatigue: none
Winner: Las Vegas 2-1
Injuries: Jack of Diamonds has light injuries and will be hobbled for a couple weeks. Pulsar Prime has a mild injury that might have him miss next week.
NOTES: Jack of Diamonds was making his WWL debut as Actagon sat out to rest up from his injuries. Pulsar Prime returned from a one-week absence and picked up the win. He had Jack in his finisher and almost got the win but Jack got out. Pulsar jumped on him and applied it again to get that important W. --- Solider of Fortune gave his team a chance as he evened up the game at one win apiece. --- The Main Event was highly anticipated. Maybe more than any one single match in WWL history. The home fans mocked Chaos by chanting his name hockey style. They started before the men came out and continued thru out the match. Both men battled hard but the first pin attempt was the only one as Thantos pinned the most heralded rookie. --- With the victory Las Vegas is in first place.
Highlight Match of the Week.
Rome Empire (2-1) @ Paris Legion (2-1)
(O) Spike (R) beat Justice (P) with Megadestroyer. Time: 8:48 Fatigue: Spike-1, Justice-3 (MC) Vigilante (R) beat Mayhem (P) via DQ. Time: 10:47 Fatigue: Vigilante-4, Mayhem-1 (ME) Raven (R) beat Massacre (P) with Bladerunner. Time: 6:31 Fatigue: Massacre-3
Winner: Rome 3-0
Injuries: Vigilante has just a mild injury and will be good to go. Massacre has a light injury and is questionable for next week.
NOTES: Both teams were chasing Frankfurt for first place in the Conference. A win would keep either team just a game back. A loss would put that team two back. --- Spike was on fire. He rocked Justice when he came out of the corner with a nasty running lariat. He then performed his Megadestroyer finisher but only got a two count. Finally, Justice started fighting back. He hit a reverse piledriver and covered for a super close 2 1/2 and he couldn't believe he didn't get the pin. While he argued with the ref Spike started to recover. The end came when Spike leveled Justice with a flying clothesline off the top rope and then hit another Megadestroyer. Spike has really improved since The Cleansing. One has to wonder if New York is regretting trading him away. --- The Mid-Card was a wild affair. Mayhem was dominating the rookie. He hit the Danger Zone twice early in the match but did not get a pin. Later in the match he hits it two more times and each of them getting a close 2 1/2 count. Not getting the three on either attempt leads to him blowing his lid. He tosses Vigilante out of the ring then grabs the chains he brings down to the ring. He swings them and hits Vigilante. The ref gives some leeway but orders Mayhem back into the ring. He ignores the ref and hit Vigilante with his chains again leading to the DQ. As amazing as it is, this is Mayhem's first DQ of the season. Our fact checkers are better than yours and even we had to double check to make sure that was true. Almost every one of his matches last season ended with him getting the DQ but this is the first this season. --- Rome had the game win but were going for the sweep. --- Massacre crashed his shoulder into the corner when he rushed in and Raven moved. He never got on track after that and the rookie picked up the win for the sweep. Massacre is off to a bad start this season compared to how did last season.
North American Conference Record (match results)

Quick Question: Did you get the name "Las Vegas Aces" from the football video game "Blitz the League"? There's a team called that in the game! See? -- Todd C WTIC No I did not. I just thought it sounded cool and if anything, it was influenced by Ace Austin even if he is Atlantic City not Vegas. It is also possible that in my subconscious I had the memory of hearing of the WNBA team by that name. I try and give the teams name that connect to the city in some way. I feel some are good, some are so-so at best but meh.

WWL Fall 90
Week 5
Toronto Juggernauts (2-2) @ Mexico City Fire (1-3)
(O) Actagon (MC) beat Matter (T) via DQ. Time: 2:26 Fatigue: Actagon-1 (MC) Dreggs (T) beat Soldier of Fortune with Twist And Shout. Time: 11:11 Fatigue: Soldier of Fortune-5 (ME) Chaos (MC) beat Battering Ram (T) with Bow of Defeat. Time: 10:04 Fatigue: Battering Ram-2
Winner: Mexico City 2-1
Injuries: Solider of Fortune has a light injury but will be fine.
NOTES: Actagon was still hobbled a bit but he fought thru it. Matter ended up getting DQ'd after a wild brawl on the floor. It was his first DQ of the season. --- Dreggs dominated Soldier of Fortune and finally put him away to even up the game. --- The home crowd was behind Chaos all the way and he fed off of it. He controlled most of the action and finally put Battering Ram away.
Glasgow Rangers (0-4) @ London Red Coats (1-3)
(O) Incredible Badger (G) beat Mad Jester (L) with Death Dive. Time: 8:27 Fatigue: Incredible Badger-1, Mad Jester-1 (MC) King Lear (G) beat Lance At-Las (L) with Throne Strap. Time: 13:53 Fatigue: King Lear-2, Lance At-Las-2 (ME) Bloodline (G) beat Star Warrior (L) with Cosmic Big Bang. Time: 1:31 Fatigue: none
Winner: Glasgow 3-0
Injuries: None
NOTES: Badger won the Opening match as Mad Jester continues to struggle. --- King Lear and Lance At-Las had a really good match. King Lear, who almost won with The Coronation right before he did get the win, pulled it out and just like that London, the defending WWL Cup champs, hit a new low this season. They lost to the one team who had not won this season. --- The Main Event was a short one. Star Warrior tried to finish the rookie off with a Cosmic Big Bang early on but Bloodline moved and Star Warrior crashed and burned. Then in a bit of a shocker, Bloodlike went to the top and performed Star Warrior's finisher and scored the win. --- Just like that London hit an even lower point. They were shutout by the team that came in with zero wins.
Chicago Muscle (2-2) @ Los Angeles Stars (2-2)
(O) Invincible Krakan (LA) beat Hitman for Hire (C) with top rope clothesline. Time: 5:24 Fatigue: Hitman for Hire-4 (MC) Massif (C) beat Splatter (LA) with Massif Power Slam. Time: 9:46 Fatigue: Splatter-2 (ME) Bounty Hunter (C) beat Bishop Hell (LA) with Ambush. Time: 3:30 Fatigue: Bishop Hell-2
Winner: Chicago 2-1
Injuries: None
NOTES: Invincible Krakan hit back-to-back Falling Face Slams a couple minutes in. He did not get the win but he softened Hitman up. --- The home crowd was happy but the next two matches took them out of it.
Barcelona Conquistadors (2-2) @ Paris Legion (2-2)
(O) Justice (P) beat Lord Nexus (B) with reverse piledriver. Time: 6:53 Fatigue: Lord Nexus-1 (MC) Mayhem (P) beat Pegasus (B) with Leap Of Doom. Time: 5:41 Fatigue: Pegasus-1, Mayhem-1 (ME) Massacre (P) beat Iron Mane (B) with The Cleansing. Time: 5:12 Fatigue: Iron Mane-3
Winner: Paris 3-0
Injuries: Iron Mane has a mild injury that will not affect his wrestling.
NOTES: After Paris won the first two games it was suggested that Massacre might sit out the Main Event. However, even though he was battling some injuries he went out there. He dominated the match and got the sweep for his team.
Las Vegas Aces (3-1) @ New York Titans (2-2)
(O) Protues (NY) beat Pulsar Prime (LV) with flying elbow drop. Time: 2:18 Fatigue: none (MC) Exo-King (LV) beat Dragonmaster (NY) with Death Vise. Time: 7:06 Fatigue: Dragonmaster-2 (ME) Thantos (LV) beat Galactic Punisher (NY) with Satanic Skull Smasher. Time: 2:50 Fatigue: none
Winner: Las Vegas 2-1
Injuries: None
NOTES: Pulsar Prime was dealing with injuries. He tried to get the win but just couldn't. It did not matter as the rest of his team got wins as Las Vegas kept rolling.
Highlight Game of the Week.
Frankfurt Knights (4-0) @ Rome Empire (3-1)
(O) Wolf (F) beat Spike (R) with Wolf Skullcrusher. Time: 13:10 Fatigue: Spike-2 (MC) Vigilante (R) beat Matador of M83 (F) with Police Brutality. Time: 1:49 Fatigue: none (ME) Raven (R) beat Encubus (F) with Broadsword. Time: 5:45 Fatigue: Encubus-1, Raven-3
Winner: Rome 2-1
Injuries: Raven has a medium injury that should bother him for a week or two but he can wrestle.
NOTES: The top two teams in the European Conference were doing battle thus this was the Highlight Game of the Week --- The Opening match saw two guys who have been thru some wars outside of the WWL. Wolf almost won with his Savage Face Claw finisher around the 8-minute mark but Spike survived. Wolf still picked up the W. --- Frankfurt moved Matador of M83 to the Mid-Card as he was dealing with some bumps and bruises so this would give him a break and it also would let rookie Encubus experience the Main Event as he has been chirping a bit about, he should be there anyways. Since Rome was the home team, they set their lineup after Frankfurt and could have made moves to counter Frankfurt's lineup but decided to stick with their normal lineup. --- Vigilante made short work of Matador to even up things at a match win a piece. --- Encubus had a chance to win the game in a battle of rookies. About a minute and a half in he hit Second Coming and got a close 2 1/2. He looked frustrated. A bit later he hit another and thought he had the win but Raven kicked out after only one. Encubus started arguing with the ref. Raven recovered and started fighting back. He hit a deadly piledriver to set up his Broadsword finisher. --- Frankfurt lost for the first time this season and Rome tied them on top of the European Conference. --- In a post-game interview Encubus admitted that the Main Event is harder than in the Mid-Card but he will learn from his loss and be better next time.

ESPN Space Special Presentation
WWL Mid-Season Review
Howard Berman: Welcome to the twice a year annual Mid-Season Review. As always, I am joined by Alice Bundy.
Alice Bundy: Thanks Howard.
Howard Berman: Before we get to the review, we have some big breaking news. There has been a big trade in the WWL. Two teams who have not seen their Fall 90 season go as planned nor previous seasons for that matter have made a blockbuster, team lineup shaking trades. Barcelona Conquistadors sent their current Main Event guy, Iron Mane, and their Opening match guy Lord Nexus plus their 1st round pick in the Spring 91 draft to Toronto Juggernauts. In return, Toronto sent their current Main Event guy, Battering Ram, along with the main who started the season in their Main Event spot, Dreadnaught who is currently out for the season on the IR list, plus their 2nd round pick in the Spring 91 draft.
Alice Bundy: Wow, that IS huge. They practically swapped starting lineups.
Howard Berman: That is correct. Sources say that originally Toronto reached out to Barcelona about a deal for Iron Mane. They offered Battering Ram but Barcelona wanted them to throw in Dreadnaught. Toronto management was torn on that. Some think he is still a future star. Others are concerned over his injury history and thought it was best to make a deal. They had to hammer out proper compensation. When Toronto asked for Lord Nexus and a 1st round to be included to even it out Barcelona thought it was too high. They finally ended up with this deal. In a move to make this work out with rosters Toronto cut Tendron who they had just recently signed to fill the hole on the roster. Dreadnaught does not count against the roster of five men as he is on the IR list. Tendron becomes a FA again. He can sign another contract with another team or rejoin Toronto at any time on the current contract he has with them.
Alice Bundy: I understand the Barcelona GM wanting to make this trade. There are rumors going around that the Barcelona owner is not happy with how the team has been doing. They have never been above .500 since the WWL started and the owner is possibly in talks of selling the team. It is known that Moscow, Tokyo and Dubai are interested in having an WWL team. Of course, if one of these teams did get the Barcelona franchise, they would have to rename the European Conference.
Howard Berman: Now, on to the review of the first half of the Fall 90 season. There have been two huge disappointments so far. One is how the defending WWL Cup champions, the London Red Coats, have struggled this season. Of course, it seems every winner of the Cup has struggled the next season.
Alice Bundy: Most people point to the Red Coats losing their Opening match specialist Incredible Badger to free agency. They have not picked up one win from the Opening match this season.
Howard Berman: The second big disappointment is how the #1 overall pick from the draft, Chaos, has performed so far this season. He lost his very first match which was at home and has struggled on the road which was a concern. He has not been as big a bust as last year's #1, Mayhem, was during his rookie campaign as Chaos has won matches but it is close due to how much hype he had coming into the draft and season.
Alice Bundy: On the other side of things some teams are doing surprisingly good. Las Vegas, Frankfurt and Rome of all teams are standing at the top at 4-1. Vegas has been spearheaded by the man who is usually winning a lot, Thantos. An improved Pulsar, now Pulsar Prime, has helped too. Frankfurt is being pushed to the top by the arrival of the rookie Encubus. That and the unusual decision to place Wolf in the Opening match while he lets Matador of M83 and Encubus take the top of the card. It could be said if Matador had not been hurt this team might still be undefeated.
Howard Berman: Then there is Rome. The team that traded Thantos away along with most of the rest of their roster in hopes of getting the top pick and thus Chaos. They ended up missing out on that and it might have been the best thing for them. Instead, they have two hot rookies in Raven and Vigilante who feel they have a lot to prove to the critiques and are tearing things up in the WWL. Now, early we discussed the big trade that just went down. Alice, do you see any more trades being made before the trade deadline?
Alice Bundy: I do not think so Howard. My sources tell me that most teams feel like staying pat and seeing how things play out. Either they are in the hunt for the playoffs or for the top pick. The one name that has come up as a possible target is Brute. Rome signed him as a FA when they basically had no one but with the two rookies you mentioned doing so good and the improvement of Spike who they traded for, there has been no use for Brute in the lineup. Some teams might want him for either Opening match of bench depth but Rome seems happy to keep him for their own bench depth and if they do trade him, it will be a high price that other teams are unwilling to pay.
Howard Berman: You mentioned teams in the running for the top pick. Who do you see as being the top pick or at least the top targets for the Spring 91 draft?
Alice Bundy: Well Berman, right now there are about four names that stand out. Vengeance, Janus, Stalker and Prodigy. These men are likely to be the first four off the board baring some other names entering the draft pool. This next draft will not be as exciting as the last couple but still some solid names. If I had to pick now, I would say Prodigy would be the top pick. Another name to watch, while not being really good now but people are talking about down the road much like Pulsar and Ursa Major is a guy who goes by the name Enigma. He has some really good athletic ability but needs to adjust to the world of wrestling much like Ursa Major.
Howard Berman: Sounds good. One last thing before we wrap this up. Who will be the two playoff teams from each Conference? My picks for North America are Las Vegas and Chicago. They are on top now and will stay there. I think Vegas goes to the Cup. For the European Conference I got Frankfurt and Paris. Frankfurt will get back on track and Paris will push past Rome who I think fades down the stretch with two rookies at the top of the lineup. Frankfurt will face Vegas for the Cup.
Alice Bundy: I like the Vegas pick but I think Los Angeles catches and passes Chicago for the other spot. Vegas is my pick to go to the Cup as well. I think Frankfurt and Rome stay hot and go to the playoffs with Frankfurt also winning and facing Vegas for the WWL Cup. Well, that's our show. The first half of Fall 90 has been a bumpy ride and the second looks to be the same. So, buckle up buttercup and hang on. For Howard Berman I am Alice Bundy saying we will see you at the matches.

Winner: London 2-1
Injuries: None
NOTES: It looks like London might have found their Opening match man. --- For Barcelona, new faces lead to same old results.
Los Angeles Aces (2-3) @ Toronto Juggernauts (2-3)
(O) Invincible Krakan (LA) beat Matter (T) with Falling Face Slam. Time: 1:36 Fatigue: none (MC) Splatter (LA) beat Iron Mane (T) via count out. Time: 9:44 Fatigue: Splatter-1, Iron Mane-3 (ME) Bishop Hell (LA) beat Dreggs (T) with Flying Cross. Time: 19:13 Fatigue: Bishop Hell-2, Dreggs-5
Winner: Los Angeles 3-0
Injuries: Dreggs had a medium injury but should not bother him much next week.
NOTES: Los Angeles swept Toronto who has not seen improvement with their new roster. --- The Main Event was a brutal match that saw both men breathing heavy after.
Glasgow Rangers (1-4) @ Rome (4-1)
(O) Spike (R) beat Incredible Badger (G) with Megadestroyer. Time: 5:27 Fatigue: Incredible Badger-2 (MC) Vigilante (R) beat King Lear (G) with Vigilante Destroyer. Time: 2:29 Fatigue: King Lear-1 (ME) Bloodline (G) beat Raven (R) with Cosmic Big Bang. Time: 22:24 Fatigue: Raven-2
Winner: Rome 2-1
Injuries: None
NOTES: Rome kept rolling getting the game win going into the Main Event. --- The Main Event saw the two rookies going at it. Last time Raven was victorious. This time Bloodline got the better of his opponent.
Mexico City Fire (2-3) @ New York Titans (2-3)
(O) Actagon (MC) beat Whiplash (NY) with Grecian Sleeper Grip. Time: 4:40 Fatigue: Whiplash-3 (MC) Dragonmaster (NY) beat Soldier of Fortune (MC) with Cobra Nerve Stopper. Time: 14:17 Fatigue: Soldier of Fortune-5, Dragonmaster-3 (ME) Chaos (MC) beat Galactic Punisher (NY) with Bow Of Defeat. Time: 2:11 Fatigue: none
Winner: Mexico City 2-1
Injuries: Whiplash has a medium injury but will be ok for next week. Soldier of Fortune has a light injury that should not affect him. Dragonmaster has a mild injury but will be fine.
NOTES: Actagon still nursing an injury was in the Opening match to give him a break. He hit a moonsault and covered then applies Grecian Sleeper Grip and after Whiplash got out applied it again to get the win and get Mexico City off to a good start --- Soldier of Fortune and Dragonmaster had a brutal battle in the Mid-Card match. Both men hit their finishers and their secondary moves but could not get the pin. Finally, Dragonmaster used his secondary move again and got the W. --- The fans tried to get to Chaos but he countered by picking up a quick win. Galactic Punisher was actually in control early then he tossed Chaos out of the ring. He went after him and Chaos caught him with a belly-to-belly suplex. Back in the ring a dropkick followed by the Bow Of Defeat to finish Punisher off. Don't look now but Mexico City is on fire.
Frankfurt Knights (4-1) @ Paris Legion (3-2)
(O) Justice (P) beat Wolf (F) with Shock Probation. Time: 3:25 Fatigue: Wolf-2 (MC) Encubus (F) beat Mayhem with Second Coming. Time: 9:04 Fatigue: Encubus-1, Mayhem-4 (ME) Matador of M83 (F) beat Massacre (P) with Bullwhip. Time: 2:02 Fatigue: Matador-1, Massacre-3
Winner: Frankfurt 2-1
Injuries: Mayhem has a very serious injury. It seems he avoided a season ending injury but he will be in bad shape for a few weeks. The question is will Paris shut him down, like last season, if they fell this season is over for them. Massacre meanwhile suffered a medium injury. He might have issues next week but should be good beyond that.
NOTES: The Opening match was a short one but they spent a lot of time out on the floor. In one sequence Wolf tossed Justice out of the ring and went after him. Justice smashed him against the ring and tossed him in. He hit Shock Probation and covered for a close 2 1/2. Justice then hit a reverse piledriver and covered but Wolf got his shoulder up at 2. He then hit his finisher again and got all of it. That ended the match and gave Wolf a rare lose in the Opening match. --- In the Mid-Card match just a couple minutes in Encubus hit a Gamemaster DDT. After the kick out he hit it again and again Mayhem kicked out. Then Encubus hit Second Coming but again did not get the three. Later he he hit Second Coming and after the kickout tossed Mayhem over the top rope. He waited for Mayhem to crawl back in and then he finished him off. --- Matador of M83 was still dealing with a left shoulder injury as he kept rotating his arm before the match. He went after Massacre hard wanting to finish the match quickly and that is what he did. Even for a short match there were quite a few pin attempts. --- With Frankfurt's win, Glasgow finds itself on the verge of elimination. If they lose one more time, they are out of the playoff hunt. Same thing if Frankfurt and Rome pick up one more win each.
Highlight Game of the Week.
Chicago Muscle (3-2) @ Las Vegas (4-1)
(O) Cannibal (C) beat Pulsar Prime (LV) via DQ. Time: 2:10 Fatigue: none (MC) Exo-King (LV) beat Massif (C) with Death Vise. Time: 2:07 Fatigue: Massif-2 (ME) Thantos (LV) beat Bounty Hunter (C) with Masterlock. Time: 19:06 Fatigue: Bounty Hunter-2, Thantos-1
Winner: Las Vegas 2-1
Injuries: None
NOTES: The Opening match ended in a bit of a shocker. Pulsar was in control of the match when he tried to toss Cannibal into the corner. Cannibal reversed it then charged in. Pulsar moves and Cannibal ended up out on the floor. Pulsar went out after him and the two brawled. Pulsar lifted Cannibal and put him thru the Spanish announcer's desk resulting in the DQ. It is Pulsar Prime's first DQ of the season. --- Exo-King went out to even the game up. He hit an atomic drop and covered. Then a reverse backbreaker and a cover. He had softened Massif up he felt so he followed those up with the Death Vise and got the W --- After two quick matches the Main Event was a long affair but ended with Thantos getting another win to stay perfect this season. --- During the post-game press conference Thantos was asked what he thought about Pulsar Prime getting a DQ. He chuckled and said maybe Pulsar learned TOO much from him.

WWL Fall 90
Week 7
Paris Legion (3-3) @ Glasgow Rangers (1-5)
(O) Justice (P) beat King Lear (G) with Shock Probation. Time: 3:02 Fatigue: none (MC) Incredible Badger (G) beat Mayhem (P) with Borrow Blast. Time: 7:36 Fatigue: Mayhem-1, Incredible Badger-1 (ME) Bloodline (G) beat Massacre (P) with Cetus Master Lock. Time: 10:50 Fatigue: Massacre-2, Bloodline-1
Winner: Glasgow 2-1
Injuries: None
NOTES: When Glasgow made their debut it was in front of a packed house. Now, the place is just a bit over half full. --- Glasgow moved Badger to the Mid-Card in hopes of improving their chances to win and King Lear's as he was moved down to the Opening match. It did not work for King Lear but did work for the team. --- Mayhem came into his match in obvious pain and discomfort. He put up a valiant effort but it was in vain. --- Paris saw its playoff hopes take a hit with this loss.
New York Titans (2-4) @ Chicago Muscle (3-3)
(O) Cannibal (C) beat Whiplash (NY) with Throat Slit. Time: 12:33 Fatigue: Whiplash-3, Cannibal-1 (MC) Dragonmaster (NY) beat Massif (C) with Viper's Sting. Time: 4:50 Fatigue: Massif-1 (ME) Galactic Punisher (NY) beat Bounty Hunter (C) with Life Sentence. Time: 5:15 Fatigue: Galactic Punisher-1, Bounty Hunter-2
Winner: New York 2-1
Injuries: None
NOTES: With the North American Conference such a log jam, every win down the stretch is important. --- Whiplash was favoring his injury and Cannibal did not help him in that area. A win to get Chicago started but his team could not keep the momentum going. --- The Main Event saw two men who have faced each other season after season. This might be the last time the two men meet in the Main Event for these two teams as rumors swirl around both teams about needing a shakeup. Hunter could not get the W for his team in front of the home fans. --- New York with a big and important road win.
Rome Empire (5-1) @ London Red Coats (2-4)
(O) Spike (R) beat Chopper Mattock (L) with Megadestroyer. Time: 5:24 Fatigue: none (MC) Vigilante (R) beat Lance At-Las (L) with Police Brutality. Time: 22:13 Fatigue: Vigilante-1 Lance At-Las-6 (ME) Star Warrior (L) beat Raven (R) with Tomahawk Thrust. Time: 10:42 Fatigue: Raven-2
Winner: Rome 2-1
Injuries: Lance At-Las has a serious injury. He is questionable for the next couple weeks.
NOTES: This was a good matchup in the early days of the WWL. Not so much these days. London while winning the WWL Cup last season, are struggling this one. Meanwhile, the starting lineup for Rome were not even on the team before this season. --- Spike continues his rebound season in the Opening match to get Rome off to a good start. - The Mid-Card was a long match. Lance At-Las almost got counted out early on and seeing the beating he ended up taking one has to think if he could go back, he would have taken the count out loss. --- The rookie Raven came in less than 100% but gave a galliant effort. He survived two early Cosmic Big Bangs but eventually fell to back-to-back Tomahawk Thrusts. --- Rome is on the verge of clinching a playoff spot while London is looking to the Spring 91 draft.
Las Vegas Aces (5-1) @ Toronto Juggernauts (2-4)
(O) Matter (T) beat Pulsar Prime (LV) with Positive Charge. Time: 1:41 Fatigue: Pulsar Prime-1 (MC) Iron Mane (T) beat Exo-King (LV) with Beast Claw. Time: 10:54 Fatigue: Exo-King-2 (ME) Thantos (LV) beat Dreggs (T) with Tombstone Piledriver. Time: 6:32 Fatigue: Thantos-2, Dreggs-2
Winner: Toronto 2-1
Injuries: None
NOTES: A big missed opportunity for the Aces --- Pulsar Prime lost and lost quickly. It was announced after the game that Doomsday Creature will make his debut in the Opening match next week --- Exo-King could not get anything going against Iron Mane and the match and game were lost --- Thantos faced a banged up Dreggs and both men took it to the other. Thantos might have been sending a message with the move he used to get the win and keep his MVP chances alive. Could he become the first two-time MVP winner?
Barcelona Conquistadors (2-4) @ Frankfurt Knights (5-1)
(O) Wolf (F) beat Lord Nexus (B) with Savage Face Claw. Time: 6:37 Fatigue: Lord Nexus-1, Wolf-3 (MC) Encubus (F) beat Pegasus (B) with Second Coming. Time: 13:33 Fatigue: Pegasus-1 (ME) Battering Ram (B) beat Matador of M83 with Battering Ram. Time: 17:25 Fatigue: Battering Ram-1, Matador-2
Winner: Frankfurt 2-1
Injuries: None
NOTES: Lord Nexus took the fight to Wolf, including hitting three Titan Drops in a row at one point, but only the second came close to a pin. Wolf had a nice bounce back win. Being in front of the home crowd and the Wolf Pack sure helped. --- Encubus completed the victory for the home team with a solid performance. He hit a Gamemaster DDT for a 2-count right before the finish. --- Matador of M83 could not complete the shutout and get the all-important 3rd match win but Frankfurt remains tied with Rome at the top of the European Conference. --- With the Frankfurt win, and Rome's win earlier, we see three teams eliminated from the playoff race. Glasgow, Barcelona and last year's WWL Cup winner London will have to look to next season for the chance to make the playoffs.
Highlight Game of the Week.
Mexico City Fire (3-3) @ Los Angeles (3-3)
(O) Invincible Krakan (LA) beat Actagon (MC) with top rope clothesline. Time: 18:54 Fatigue: Actagon-2, Invincible Krakan-2 (MC) Solider of Fortune (MC) beat Splatter (LA) with The Revenger. Time: 3:39 Fatigue: Splatter-1 (ME) Chaos (MC) beat Bishop Hell (LA) with Bow Of Defeat. Time: 6:50 Fatigue: Bishop Hell-4
Winner: Mexico City 2-1
Injuries: Bishop Hell has a mild injury that should not bother him.
NOTES: This ended up the Highlight Game of the Week due to being between two teams trying to stay in the playoff picture. --- Invincible Krakan got the Stars off to a good start that had the home crowd going wild --- Splatter could not secure the game win --- The home crowd still felt good. They tried to get under Chaos's skin. It did not work. He kept putting Bishop Hell in the Bow Of Defeat. Four times total, two early and two to end the match. Chaos sneered at the crowd after

WWL Fall 90
Week 8
London Red Coats (2-5) @ Paris Legion (3-4)
(O) Chopper Mattock (L) beat Death's Head (P) with Battle Axe. Time: 7:50 Fatigue: Chopper Mattock-1, Death's Head-1 (MC) Justice (P) beat Rogue (L) with Shock Probation. Time: 20:09 Fatigue: Rogue-1, Justice-2 (ME) Massacre (P) beat Star Warrior (L) via DQ. Time: 11:27 Fatigue: Star Warrior-1, Massacre-1
Winner: Paris 2-1
Injuries: None
NOTES: The Opening match saw the WWL debut of Death's Head due to Paris resting Mayhem. He almost won a few minutes in thanks to a knee to the crotch but Chopper hung strong. He is really starting to look like he might be the answer to London's Opening match position. --- Rogue made his season debut for Lance At-Las who was nursing injuries. Lance wanted to go but with the season over London was thinking of the future. Rogue hung tough pushing the match to just over 20 minutes but Justice was too much for him. --- The Main Event was another example of the weird season London is having coming off their WWL Cup win. Star Warrior got DQ'd. Yes, Star Warrior. Massacre tossed him out of the ring and went after him. They started to battle toward the Spanish announcer's table and the Spanish announcing team looked nervous. Especially when Warrior started getting mad. As it was Star Warrior lifted Massacre up in a choke slam but put him thru the French announcer's table. The ref ended the match. Au revoir to Star Warrior's squeaky clean image and au revoir to the French announcer's desk. This is Star Warrior's first DQ of the season of course.
Toronto Juggernauts (3-4) @ New York Titans (3-4)
(O) Matter (T) beat Proteus (NY) beat Positive Charge. Time: 2:25 Fatigue: Proteus-1 (MC) Dragonmaster (NY) beat Dreggs (T) with double karate hammer. Time: 4:59 Fatigue: Dreggs-1, Dragonmaster-3 (ME) Galactic Punisher (NY) beat Iron Mane (T) with swift kick. Time: 11:11 Fatigue: none
Winner: New York 2-1
Injuries: Dragonmaster has a serious injury. He is questionable for next week.
NOTES: Proteus made his second start in the Opening match this season. Matter hit back-to-back Positive Charge and got the quick win. --- In the Mid-Card match Dreggs put Dragonmaster in the Twist And Shout finisher three times in a row early in the match but Dragonmaster refused to submit. He came back and won the match to even the game. --- The Main Event was solid and Punisher got the win on his first pin attempt.
Barcelona Conquistadors (2-5) @ Rome Empire (6-1)
(O) Spike (R) beat Tendron (B) with Megadestroyer. Time: 1:09 Fatigue: Tendron-1 (MC) Vigilante (R) beat Pegasus (B) via DQ. Time: 3:00 Fatigue: none (ME) Battering Ram (B) beat Raven (R) with Battering Ram. Time: 13:23 Fatigue: Battering Ram-2, Raven-3
Winner: Rome 2-1
Injuries: None
NOTES: Rome keeps rolling. --- Tendron made his season debut as Lord Nexus has been struggling. Unfortunately for him, it was against Spike who made short work of Tendron. --- Thanks to Pegasus's hot temper Vigilante got a quick win and so did Rome. This was Pegasus's second DQ of the season meaning he will be suspended next week. --- Raven went for that all important sweep but Battering Ram was not going to let that happen. Battering Ram finished Raven off with a sequence of Battering Ram, Ram head butt and a second Battering Ram.
Chicago Muscle (3-4) @ Mexico City Fire (4-3)
(O) Actagon (MC) beat Cannibal (C) with Grecian Sleeper Grip. Time: 8:46 Fatigue: Cannibal-4 (MC) Massif (C) beat Solider of Fortune (MC) with Volcanic Drop. Time: 9:36 Fatigue: none (ME) Chaos (MC) beat Bounty Hunter (C) with Bow Of Defeat. Time: 9:48 Fatigue: Bishop Hell-1
Winner: Mexico City 2-1
Injuries: None
NOTES: This game was between two teams trying to keep their playoff dreams alive. --- Actagon was all over Cannibal and put him away with his finisher. When Actagon was first moved to the Opening match position he was not happy. Then he realized, if Wolf can do it so can he. It has helped Mexico City get on the winning streak they are on. --- Massif and Solider of Fortune slugged it out and Massif picked up the win with his finisher and first pin attempt. --- Chaos came out to a loud ruckus home crowd. Bounty Hunter put up a good fight but Chaos was just too much. Chaos and Mexico City keep winning. If they make it into the playoffs, they will be a hard team to beat.
Glasgow Rangers (2-5) @ Frankfurt Knights (6-1)
(O) Wolf (F) beat Fury (G) via DQ. Time: 3:36 Fatigue: none (MC) Incredible Badger (G) beat Encubus (F) by turning a sun set flip attempt into a rollup. Time: 19:47 Fatigue: Incredible Badger-8, Encubus-3 (ME) Bloodline (G) beat Matador of M83 (F) with Cosmic Big Bang. Time: 5:37 Fatigue: Bloodline-2, Matador-3
Winner: Glasgow 2-1
Injuries: None
NOTES: The home crowd was pumped. They wanted to see their team win and keep pace with Rome Empire. --- The Wolf Pack was really loud for the Opening match. Wolf won when he tossed Fury out of the ring and went after him. Fury grabbed the closest chair and hit Wolf. He probably knew he was going to lose anyways so wanted to do it on his terms plus avoiding the Savage Face Claw. This is Fury's first DQ of the season as it was his first match. He was in the lineup due to Glasgow giving King Lear the week off. --- Things did not go good for Frankfurt after that as Glasgow got to play spoiler. --- The Mid-Card was a brutal affair. Incredible Badger survived the Maffei Masterlock twice and the Gamemaster DDT twice in the first 5 minutes or so. Later Encubus hit Second Coming twice in a row and Badger kicked out both times. Meanwhile Encubus survived three Burrow Blasts over all. In the end both men were tired as Encubus attempted a sun set flip. Badger simply fell to his knees, putting him in a pinning position and got the three count. It was an impressive win for Badger seeing how much punishment he took. The man that was an Opening match specialist may have just shown he can work the Mid-Card too. --- The rookie Bloodline went against the Rookie of the Season for Fall 89. Bloodline was not intimidated and really took the fight to him. He softened Matador of M83 up by using the Cetus Masterlock twice before going for his finisher and getting the pin.
Highlight Game of the Week.
Las Vegas (5-2) @ Los Angeles (3-4)
(O) Doomsday Creature (LV) beat Invincible Krakan (LA) with Strangulation. Time: 5:03 Fatigue: none (MC) Exo-King (LV) beat Splatter (LA) with Death Vise. Time: 2:31 Fatigue: Splatter-1 (ME) Thantos (LV) beat Bishop Hell (LA) by reversing a sun set flip attempt into a pinning position. Time: 6:29 Fatigue: Thantos-2, Bishop Hell-1
Winner: Las Vegas 3-0
Injuries: None
NOTES: Looking for a spark from the Opening match, Thantos and the Aces coach decided to give Doomsday Creature a shot. He sat out the first two weeks on a suspension and has been on the bench since. He went up against one of the best Opening match guys in Invincible Krakan. It did not faze him as Doomsday Creature picked up the W. Maybe the Aces have their Opening match man. If so, what does that mean for Pulsar Prime who Thantos put a lot of time and effort into? --- Exo-King went out and got the win for himself and the team. Los Angeles was holding on desperately to their hopes for the playoffs. This loss might have crushed those hopes. King won quickly over Splatter. --- A very happy Thantos came into the Main Event knowing his team had already won the game. He then completed the sweep. He remains undefeated and looks like he is on the way to another MVP not to mention leading his team to the playoffs. One more win will clinch that.

WWL Fall 90
Week 9
Glasgow Rangers (3-5) @ Barcelona Conquistadors (2-6)
(O) King Lear (G) beat Sectarian (B) with The Coronation. Time: 8:45 Fatigue: Sectarian-1 (MC) Incredible Badger (G) beat Lord Nexus (B) with Burrow Blast. Time: 7:31 Fatigue: Incredible Badger-1, Lord Nexus-3 (ME) Bloodline (G) over Battering Ram (B) with Cosmic Big Bang. Time: 14:52 Fatigue: Bloodline-2, Battering Ram-2
Winner: Glasgow 3-0
Injuries: None
NOTES: With Pegasus serving his suspension for two DQs Sectarian got the start in the Opening match and Lord Nexus moved up to Mid-Card. It did them no good as Glasglow came in and swept them.
Toronto Juggernauts (3-5) @ Chicago Muscle (3-5)
(O) Cannibal (C) beat Matter (T) with Throat Slit. Time: 3:33 Fatigue: Matter-2 (MC) Dreggs (T) beat Massif (C) with Twist And Shout. Time: 3:38 Fatigue: Massif-5 (ME) Bounty Hunter (C) beat Iron Mane (T) with Ambush. Time: 11:02 Fatigue: Bounty Hunter-1
Winner: Chicago 2-1
Injuries: None
NOTES: Massif is a tough man to beat but Dreggs found a way. He kept putting the big man in Twist And Shout. In fact, he got Massif in the hold five straight times and finally got the submission. --- Both teams are just playing out the season and looking ahead to Spring 91
Frankfurt Knights (6-2) @ London Red Coats (2-6)
(O) Wolf (F) beat Chopper Mattock (L) when he countered a jump off the top rope into a T-Bone Suplex. Time: 11:25 Fatigue: Wolf-1, Chopper Mattock-1 (MC) Matador of M83 (F) beat Lance At-Las (L) via DQ. Time: 6:41 Fatigue: Matador-3, Lance At-Las-1 (ME) Encubus (F) beat Star Warrior (L) via DQ. Time: 4:20 Fatigue: none
Winner: Frankfurt 3-0
Injuries: Lance At-Las has a medium injury that was an aggravation of an early injury. London said they are shutting him down with only one game left in the season.
NOTES: In the Mid-Card match Lance At-Las seemed to be on the way to a victory. He hit Matador of M83 with a Nomad Knee Drop and after getting a two count he hit Martian Manhandler twice. But Matador kept kicking out. In the end it was a kick from Lance that ended the match. They were down on the floor and first Lance tossed Matador into the ring steps. Then he kicked Matador's head as it laid against the steps resulting in the DQ. It was Lance's first DQ of the season. The announcers said he likes to emulate Star Warrior but this was one time he should not have. They did not know how prolific that statement would be. --- Frustration continued for London in the Main Event. Encubus left the ring and Star Warrior went out after him. He slammed Encubus onto the announcer's table and then went to the ring apron and he performed a Cosmic Big Bang off it and thru Encubus and the table. That was Star Warrior's second DQ of the season meaning he will be suspended for the last game of the season. --- Frankfurt swept London and in doing so Paris was eliminated from the playoffs. Frankfurt and Rome will face each other in the European Conference Championship game. But not before facing each other in Week 10
Los Angeles Stars (3-5) @ New York Titans (4-4)
(O) Proteus (NY) beat Invincible Krakan (LA) with an Overhead Toss. Time: 14:39 Fatigue: Invincible Krakan-1, Proteus-2 (MC) Dragonmaster (NY) beat Splatter (LA) via DQ. Time: 3:08 Fatigue: none (ME) Bishop Hell (LA) beat Galactic Punisher (NY) with a piledriver. Time: 8:22 Fatigue: Galactic Punisher-1
Winner: New York 2-1
Injuries: None
NOTES: New York kept their slim playoff hopes alive with a win. --- In the Mid-Card match, Splatter charged into the corner but only hit his shoulder into the turnbuckle and rolled out to the floor. Dragonmaster went out after him and Splatter hit what looked like a low blow that got a warning from the ref. Back in the ring and Splatter tossed Dragonmaster out. Splatter went out to attack him and ignored the ref's orders to stop resulting in a DQ. This is his second DQ of the season so Splatter will be suspended for the last game of the season.
Paris Legion (4-4) @ Rome Empire (7-1)
(O) Mayhem (P) beat Spike (R) with Leap Of Doom. Time: 15:39 Fatigue: none (MC) Vigilante (R) beat Massacre (P) with Vigilante Destroyer. Time: 6:01 Fatigue: Massacre-4 (ME) Raven (R) beat Justice (P) with Broadsword. Time: 9:28 Fatigue: Justice-2, Raven-1
Winner: Rome 2-1
Injuries: None
NOTES: A banged up Mayhem was put in the Opening match and he fought tooth and nail with Spike before hitting his finisher and getting the win. The playoffs are out of the picture buy Mayhem just wants to win. --- In the Mid-Card Vigilante was strong down the stretch. He left the ring and pulled Massacre out. After beating on him a bit he rolled Massacre back into the ring. He performed Police Brutality but only got a two count. He then went high risk and came off the top rope with a cross body that led to a two count. After a Rifle Shot, he covered but Massacre kicked out. Then it was a couple Vigilante Destroyers. The first did not get the win but the second one did. --- Raven got the win to keep Rome white hot. Justice hit Shock Probation about 6 minutes and he got all of it. However, he barely got a two count. When Justice came off the top rope Raven countered it with a superkick. He hit Broadsword twice. He almost won with the first but did with the second.

NOTES: The top two teams in the North American Conference faced off thus the Highlight Game of the Week. Mexico City came out determined to do good in front of the fired-up home crowd. They got wins in the first two matches to win the game and put them in a tie with Las Vegas in the standings. --- Chaos came out to the fans doing their usual chant for him. He has been on a roll and he was looking to get the sweep as overall match record could be the tie breaker in deciding who gets home advantage in the playoffs. Unfortunately for him he was going against a man who beat him once this season and was trying to stay perfect on the way to the MVP. Thantos made short work of him. After a full power slam, which was impressive, he slapped on his finisher and forced Chaos to tap. The home crowd was shocked. Not only did Chaos lose but in under two minutes. It was like Thantos was sending a message to not just Mexico City and Chaos but to everyone.
