WWL Fall 91
Week 1
New York Titans (0-0) @ Las Vegas Aces (0-0)
(O) Quasar (LV) beat Proteus (NY) via DQ. Time: 3:48 Fatigue: none (MC) Soldier of Fortune (LV) beat Dragonmaster (NY) with a cover after a failed sunset flip. Time: 21:41 Fatigue: Dragonmaster-4, Soldier of Fortune-2 (ME) Galactic Punisher (NY) beat Wolf (LV) with Power Drop. Time: 16:26 Fatigue: Wolf-3
Winner: Las Vegas 2-1
Injuries: Dragonmaster has a light injury but it should not bother him going forward. Wolf suffered a very serious injury. He avoided a season ending one but will be questionable for the next couple weeks. If he goes he will be for from 100%
NOTES: The new look Aces got off to a good start --- Proteus picks up the first DQ of the season in the very first match --- Wolf continues to struggle even in a new home. Of course he was going against a tough vet so it is too early to call him past his prime just yet. The bigger issue is his injury which might keep him out next week
Glasgow Rangers (0-0) @ Barcelona Conquistadors (0-0)
(O) U.S. Patriot (B) beat Splatter (G) with Freedom Flyer. Time: 16:42 Fatigue: Splatter-4, US Patriot-2 (MC) Pegasus (B) beat Vengeance (G) with Total Submission. Time: 15:52 Fatigue: Vengeance-5 (ME) Bloodline (G) beat Bounty Hunter (B) with Cosmic Big Bang. Time: 10:25 Fatigue: Bounty Hunter-4
Winner: Barcelona 2-1
Injuries: Splatter has a mild injury. Vengeance has a light injury and is questionable for next week. Bounty Hunter sustained a medium injury and is probable for next week.
NOTES: A sellout crowd for the last season opening game in Barcelona --- Splatter struggled in the Opening Match and took the loss --- Pegasus brutalized Vengeance in the Mid-Card before securing the victory --- Bounty Hunter was making his debut for Barcelona. It was his first match for a team other than Chicago. Things did not go good for him as Bloodline completely dominated the match. Lucky for him the team win was in the bag
Los Angeles Stars (0-0) @ Chicago Muscle (0-0)
(O) Stalker (C) beat Thunder (LA) with Call Of The Wild. Time: 3:03 Fatigue: Thunder-4 (MC) Ram (LA) beat Invincible Krakan (C) with knock-out punch. Time: 15:07 Fatigue: Ram-2, Invincible Krakan-2 (ME) Massif (C) beat Thantos (LA) with Volcanic Drop. Time: 9:16 Fatigue: Thantos-1
Winner: Chicago 2-1
Injuries: Thunder has a mild injury but will be fine.
NOTES: An improved Thunder was making his WWL debut. Stalker took advantage of the rookie by jumping on him early. Thunder did show toughness by kicking out of three Call Of The Wilds, all in a row. Stalker then blasted him with a flying elbow off the top rope and a fourth Call Of The Wild put Thunder away in what was a short match, especially based on the matches so far this season --- Ram, having dropped the Battering, dropped Krakan with a knock-out punch to even the game up --- Massif was making his debut in the Main Event in the WWL and thus for Chicago thanks to the trade of Bounty Hunter. He had a tall task in taking on the three-time , plus reigning two-time, MVP in Thanos but he pulled off what is certainty an upset --- The home crowd was hyped to start the season 1-0 and see Thantos get beat. Most of the fans figured the game was over when Ram evened it up and Thantos being on deck
Frankfurt Knights (0-0) @ London Red Coats (0-0)
(O) Bishop Hell (F) beat Lance At-Las (L) with Hellfire. Time: 4:31 Fatigue: Bishop Hell-1 (MC) Matador of M83 (F) beat Prodigy (L) with Bullwhip. Time: 8:47 Fatigue: Prodigy-2 (ME) Encubus (F) beat Star Warrior (L) with Maffei Masterlock. Time: 17:04 Fatigue: Encubus-4, Star Warrior-5
Winner: Frankfurt 3-0
Injuries: Encubus has a mild injury that will not bother him. Star Warrior has a very serious injury to his leg. He will miss at least one game and will be questionable beyond that.
NOTES: Frankfurt opened their post Wolf era with a big win and first sweep of the season --- Bishop Hell got things off the right way for the Knights with a quick win --- Matador secured the team win after a solid match against Prodigy --- Things went from bad to worse for London as they got swept and lost Star Warrior for some time. At least they did not lose him for the season as was first thought might be the situation. Either way, things have not been good for London ever since they won the WWL Cup
Toronto Juggernauts (0-0) @ Mexico City Fire (0-0)
(O) Dreggs (T) beat Whiplash (MC) via DQ. Time: 3:08 Fatigue: Whiplash-2 (MC) Actagon (MC) beat Iron Mane (T) with Grecian Sleeper Grip. Time: 6:02 Fatigue: Iron Mane-2 (ME) Janus (T) beat Chaos (MC) with Gordian Knot. Time: 2:06 Fatigue: none
Winner: Toronto 2-1
Injuries: None
NOTES: This was a secondary Game of the Week as Mexico City raised their North American Conference Championship banner plus it was a rematch of that Conference Championship game. Toronto ended up on top of the North American Conference in the regular season but lost to Mexico City in the playoffs. --- Mexico City got off to a bad start when Whiplash was getting manhandled and got to physical on the floor resulting in the DQ --- The home crowd was edgy after that but started feeling good again when Actagon evened things up at 1 match apiece --- Janus came out for his first match in the Main Event for Toronto. Then Chaos came out to his usual fanfare from the crowd --- The entrance for Chaos was almost as long as the match as Janus put him away quickly in an impressive manner --- The home crowd was shocked and went quiet, with a few boos heard, as Chaos could not believe he lost at home once again and in such away as this
Highlight Game of the Week.
Paris Legion (0-0) @ Rome Empire (0-0)
(O) Justice (P) beat Vigilante (R) via DQ. Time: 23:31 Fatigue: Justice-5, Vigilante-4 (MC) Spike (R) beat Massacre (P) with Megadestroyer. Time: 2:02 Fatigue: none (ME) Raven (R) beat Mayhem (P) with Broadsword. Time: 3:26 Fatigue: Mayhem-1
Winner: Rome 2-1
Injuries: Justice has a mild injury but should be ok.
NOTES: Before the game there were the festivities of handing out WWL Cup rings to the members of Rome who were on the Championship team last season and the raising of the WWL Cup banner. Much like the previous game this was a rematch of the Conference Championship and once again the team that won the regular season title last season lost in the playoffs and were the road team here --- The Opening Match was a brutal war. By luck neither man suffered a serious injury --- Rome did not let the loss get to them as the came back to win the next two matches to win the game. Rome is off to a good start in their hunt to be the first team to repeat as WWL Cup champions
North American Conference Record (match results)

WWL Fall 91
Week 2
Barcelona Conquistadors (1-0) @ London Red Coats (0-1)
(O) Pulsar Prime (L) beat U.S. Patriot (B) with Solar Strain. Time: 6:47 Fatigue: U.S. Patriot-2, Pulsar Prime-1 (MC) Pegasus (B) beat Lance At-Las (L) with Total Submission. Time: 8:30 Fatigue: Pegasus-1, Lance At-Las-1 (ME) Bounty Hunter (B) beat Prodigy (L) with Ambush. Time: 5:08 Fatigue: Bounty Hunter-1, Prodigy-4
Winner: Barcelona 2-1
Injuries: Prodigy has a serious injury that will hamper him for a couple weeks
NOTES: Star Warrior was out for this game --- Pulsar Prime got London's first win of the season to get the home team off to a good start --- Pegasus tied up the game in a solid match --- Bounty Hunter came in hurt but Barcelona brought him in to turn the franchise around and he wanted to prove their faith in him was warranted. He did that by taking the fight to Prodigy. Bounty Hunter earned his first win with Barcelona and gave them the team win
Mexico City Fire (0-1) @ New York Titans (0-1)
(O) Whiplash (MC) beat Proteus (NY) with Thumbscrew. Time: 3:01 Fatigue: Proteus-1 (MC) Actagon (MC) beat Dragonmaster (NY) with Grecian Sleeper Grip. Time: 31:38 Fatigue: Actagon-3, Dragonmaster-3 (ME) Chaos (MC) beat Galactic Punisher (NY) with Bow Of Defeat. Time: 5:09 Fatigue: Chaos-3, Galactic Punisher- 1
Winner: Mexico City 3-0
Injuries: Dragonmaster has a mild injury but should show no ill effects
NOTES: Whiplash picked up a quick win to get the visitors going --- Actagon and Dragonmaster had a long battle that went over half an hour. It was like a mini-Ironman match. In the end Actagon picked up the W for himself and for the Fire --- Chaos wanted to get the sweep especially after losing last week. Galactic Punisher almost won with Verdict. He then got frustrated and tossed Chaos out of the ring. He went after Chaos who caught him and tossed him around. Back in the ring a pair of Bow Of Defeats got Chaos the win --- New York is off to their usual slow start. Can they turn things around as they have a few times in the past?
Frankfurt Knights (1-0) @ Paris Legion (0-1)
(O) Bishop Hell (F) beat Justice (P) with Hellfire. Time: 3:46 Fatigue: Justice-1 (MC) Matador of M83 (F) beat Massacre via DQ. Time: 4:12 Fatigue: none (ME) Encubus (F) beat Mayhem (P) with Maffei Masterlock. Time: 8:09 Fatigue: Encubus-2, Mayhem-2
Winner: Frankfurt 3-0
Injuries: None
NOTES: After Bishop Hell won the Opening match Matador of M83 secured the team win thanks to Massacre getting disqualified. It is Massacre's first DQ of the season. --- So far Frankfurt is doing really good in the post Wolf era --- Encubus finished shutting out Paris, one of the best teams last season. Two weeks in and Frankfurt has two sweeps. They are 6-0 in matches
Las Vegas Aces (1-0) @ Los Angeles Stars (0-1)
(O) Quasar (LV) beat Ram (LA) with High Roller. Time: 11:18 Fatigue: Quasar-1, Ram-2 (MC) Dreadnaught (LA) beat Soldier of Fortune (LV) with Guided Missile. Time: 5:35 Fatigue: Soldier of Fortune-2 (ME) Wolf (LV) beat Thantos (LA) with Savage Face Claw. Time: 11:29 Fatigue: Wolf-2, Thantos-2
Winner: Las Vegas 2-1
Injuries: None
NOTES: Quasar continues his impressive career in the Opening Match getting the win --- Dreadnaught made his season debut as he had to sit out last week due to getting his 2nd DQ in the last week of Spring 91. He evened things up for the home team --- Wolf came into the main event really banged up. He probably should have sat out but he was brought in to help Vegas win a Cup and the Aces just don't have great depth. Earlier in the week he said he planned on being more aggressive and he showed that against Thantos. It would seem Thantos would have it easy against a wounded Wolf but Thantos lost for the second time already this season. Thantos is still looking for a win as does the Stars --- Three games this week and the visitors have won all three
Rome Empire (1-0) @ Glasgow Rangers (0-1)
(O) Incredible Badger (G) beat Vigilante (R) with a pin after a crash into the ring post. Time: 24:10 Fatigue: Vigilante-6, Incredible Badger-2 (MC) Death's Head (G) beat Spike via DQ. Time: 6:37 Fatigue: Spike-1, Death's Head-2 (ME) Bloodline (G) beat Raven (R) with Cosmic Big Bang. Time: 7:14 Fatigue: Raven-2
Winner: Glasgow 3-0
Injuries: Vigilante has a light injury that will bother him for a week or two
NOTES: Glasgow decided to sit Vengeance and Splatter due to their injuries --- Former Opening match specialist got in a game for the first time in quite some time. He did not miss a beat as he had a long match that saw him come out on top --- Spike lost his cool and ended up losing his match and the game for defending WWL Cup winners the Empire --- Bloodline got the win and Glasgow was first home team to win this week and they did it in a sweep of the defending champs
Highlight Game of the Week.
Chicago Muscle (1-0) @ Toronto Juggernauts (1-0)
(O) Dreggs (T) beat Stalker (C) with Nuclear Charge. Time: 15:54 Fatigue: Stalker-3, Dreggs-3 (MC) Iron Mane (T) beat Invincible Krakan (C) via DQ. Time: 13:21 Fatigue: Iron Mane-2 (ME) Massif (C) beat Janus (T) with Volcanic Drop. Time: 1:52 Fatigue: Massif-2
Winner: Toronto 2-1
Injuries: None
NOTES: Invincible Krakan picked up his first DQ of the season in the Mid-Card match and that allowed Toronto to pick up the win --- Massif took some early damage in the Main Event but quickly came back and picked up a slight upset. He could not keep his team from losing but he did keep them from being shutout. So far Massif has been doing good in the Main Event
North American Conference Record (match results)
Toronto Juggernauts 2-0 (4-2) Las Vegas Aces 2-0 (4-2) Mexico City Fire 1-1 (4-2) Chicago Muscle 1-1 (3-3) Los Angeles Stars 0-2 (2-4) New York Titans 0-2 (1-5)

WWL Fall 91
Week 3
New York Titans (0-2) @ Chicago Muscle (1-1)
(O) Stalker (C) beat Comrade Terror (NY) with Call Of The Wild. Time: 3:24 Fatigue: Comrade Terror-4 (MC) Dragonmaster (NY) beat Invincible Krakan (C) with Dragon Drop. Time: 6:32 Fatigue: Dragonmaster-2 (ME) Galactic Punisher (NY) beat Massif (C) with Verdict. Time: 8:20 Fatigue: none
Winner: New York 2-1
Injuries: Comrade Terror suffered a serious injury. He is questionable for next week.
NOTES: Stalker got the home team off to a good start. Unfortunately, the rest of his team came up flat --- It was weird seeing the Main Event of a New York vs Chicago game where it was not Galactic Punisher vs Bounty Hunter. Massif took his first loss since moving into the Main Event spot. --- New York avoided starting 0-3
London Red Coats (0-2) @ Rome Empire (1-1)
(O) Vigilante (R) beat Pulsar Prime (L) with Hit Man's Clothesline. Time: 4:34 Fatigue: Pulsar Prime-2 (MC) Spike (R) beat Prodigy (L) with Megadestroyer. Time: 20:00 Fatigue: Prodigy-5 (ME) Raven (R) beat Star Warrior (L) with Broadsword. Time: 5:33 Fatigue: Raven-1
Winner: Rome 3-0
Injuries: Prodigy, already injured, suffered another serious injury. He is doubtful for next week and maybe more after that.
NOTES: This was like a MASH unit game. Each match had someone who was banged up going in it --- Vigilante was dealing with an injury but he picked up his first win of the season --- Prodigy came into the Mid-Card banged up and Spike did him no favors. It felt like Spike could have won at anytime but he continued to punish Prodigy. Of course, for his part Prodigy did kick out of covers. He needed help getting to the back after the match and looks like he suffered even more injuries --- London had already lost and Star Warrior could have asked to be pulled from the Main Event but he went in hurt trying to avoid the sweep. It did not work out for him
Toronto Juggernauts (2-0) @ Los Angeles Stars (0-2)
(O) Dreggs (T) beat Ram (LA) with Dregg's Killer Drop. Time: 12:59 Fatigue: Ram-5 (MC) Dreadnaught (LA) beat Iron Mane (T) with Nuclear Warhead. Time: 2:44 Fatigue: Iron Mane-1 (ME) Thantos (LA) beat Janus (T) with Masterlock. Time: 8:40 Fatigue: Janus-1
Winner: Los Angeles 2-1
Injuries: Ram has a medium injury but it should not bother him too much.
NOTES: Dreggs brutalized Ram in the Opening match to get Toronto off to a 1-0 lead --- Dreadnaught evened things up as he is starting to find his stride this season --- Speaking of finding stride, Thantos finally did after starting 0-2 on the season. Janus was in a bad spot as he faced a determined reigning two-time MVP --- Toronto lost for the first time this season as LA got their first win
Paris Legion (0-2) @ Glasgow Rangers (1-1)
(O) Splatter (G) beat Skinhead (P) via count out. Time: 8:41 Fatigue: Skinhead-2, Splatter-1 (MC) Massacre (P) beat Vengeance (G) with The Cleansing. Time: 14:35 Fatigue: Massacre-3, Vengeance-5 (ME) Bloodline (G) beat Mayhem (P) via DQ. Time: 1:00 Fatigue: none
Winner: Glasgow 2-1
Injuries: Vengeance got a medium injury on top of the one he already had. It does not look to be anything that will slow him down much.
NOTES: Skinhead got the nod in the Opening match as Paris was trying to get something going this season. It did not work out for him or them --- Vengeance came in a bit banged up and then he and Massacre proceeded to have a brutal match that saw both men take considerable damage --- The Main Event set a WWL record for the shortest match at just one minute. Mayhem was having his way so Bloodline rolled out of the ring. Mayhem did not appreciate that and he took too many liberties with Bloodline on the floor resulting in his first DQ of the season and Glasgow winning again. --- Meanwhile Paris is still winless on the season
Mexico City Fire (1-1) @ Las Vegas Aces (2-0)
(O) Whiplash (MC) beat Quasar (LV) with Thumbscrew. Time: 4:53 Fatigue: Quasar-2 (MC) Soldier of Fortune (LV) beat Actagon (MC) with The Revenger. Time: 9:11 Fatigue: Actagon-2 (ME) Wolf (LV) beat Chaos (MC) via DQ. Time: 1:00 Fatigue: none
Winner: Las Vesgas 2-1
Injuries: None
NOTES: The Opening match saw two of the young guns, especially of Opening matches, go at it with Whiplash coming out on top --- After Soldier of Fortune tied things up for the home team it was up to a wounded Wolf to try and secure the win for Las Vegas. He got under Chaos's skin resulting in Chaos tossing him out of the ring and attacking him down on the floor for the DQ. It is the first of the season for Chaos --- The record for quickest match was just set earlier in the day and now it was tied here --- Since trading for Wolf Las Vegas is undefeated
Highlight Game of the Week.
Barcelona Conquistadors (2-0) @ Frankfurt Knights (2-0)
(O) U.S. Patriot (B) beat Bishop Hell (F) with Adam's Atomic Blast. Time: 3:40 Fatigue: Bishop Hell-1 (MC) Matador of M83 (F) beat Pegasus (B) with dropkick. Time: 6:00 Fatigue: Matador-4 (ME) Encubus (F) beat Bounty Hunter (B) with Maffei Masterlock. Time: 6:00 Fatigue: Bounty Hunter-2
Winner: Frankfurt 2-1
Injuries: Matador of M83 has a medium injury that will bother him for a week or two. However, he should be ok to wrestle.
NOTES: The Opening match saw a bit of an upset as Patriot handed Bishop Hell his first loss of the season. In fact it was the first match loss for Frankfurt on the season --- Matador of M83 was taking a beating in the Mid-Card match but fought back to even things up for his team --- Bounty Hunter came in a bit banged up but that might not have mattered as Encubus is a fast rising star in WWL --- With the win the Knights remain undefeated. Could we be headed toward a WWL Cup between Frankfurt and Las Vegas? The former and current team of Wolf

WWL Fall 91
Week 4
London Red Coats (0-3) @ Paris Legion (0-3)
(O) Justice (P) beat Pulsar Prime (L) with Shock Probation. Time: 18:09 Fatigue: Pulsar Prime-3, Justice-7 (MC) Massacre (P) beat Lance At-Las (L) via count out. Time: 3:32 Fatigue: Lance At-Las-2 (ME) Star Warrior (L) beat Mayhem (P) with Tomahawk Thrust. Time: 8:18 Fatigue: Star Warrior-2, Mayhem-3
Winner: Paris 2-1
Injuries: Justice has a medium injury. He is questionable for next week. Mayhem has a mild injury that should not bother him.
NOTES: London say Prodigy due to his injury --- This was a matchup of two winless teams that always have high hopes going into the season. Who would come out with their first win on the season? --- After Justice got Paris off to the good start in a brutal Opening Match, Massacre was able to do enough damage on the floor to get the count out win over Massacre to secure the victory --- A banged up Star Warrior made sure London did not suffer another sweep
Los Angeles Stars (1-2) @ New York Titans (1-2)
(O) Proteus (NY) beat Thunder (LA) with Overhead Toss. Time: 7:28 Fatigue: Thunder-3, Proteus-2 (MC) Dreadnaught (LA) beat Dragonmaster (NY) with Guided Missile. Time: 6:18 Fatigue: Dreadnaught-1, Dragonmaster-1 (ME) Thantos (LA) beat Galactic Punisher (NY) with a pin after a failed sun set flip. Time: 14:13 Fatigue: Thantos-1, Galactic Punisher-1
Winner: Los Angeles 2-1
Injuries: None
NOTES: Two rivals who have struggled so far this season went at it and it was LA that ended up on top --- How will this outcome effect both teams going forward?
Rome Empire (2-1) @ Barcelona Conquistadors (2-1)
(O) Exo-King (R) beat U.S. Patriot (B) with Death Vise. Time: 7:08 Fatigue: Exo-King-1 (MC) Spike (R) beat Pegasus (B) with Head Rammer. Time: 4:32 Fatigue: none (ME) Raven (R) beat Bounty Hunter (B) via count out. Time: 8:54 Fatigue: Raven-2, Bounty Hunter-2
Winner: Rome 3-0
Injuries: None
NOTES: Rome sat Vigilante due to injuries but also because of his poor performance this season --- It might have been the right call as Rome went on to sweep Barcelona --- Barcelona started the season on fire but they have cooled off recently
Chicago Muscle (1-2) @ Mexico City Fire (1-2)
(O) Stalker (C) beat Whiplash (MC) via DQ. Time: 16:13 Fatigue: Stalker-2, Whiplash-3 (MC) Actagon (MC) with Invincible Krakan (C) via DQ. Time: 6:44 Fatigue: Invincible Krakan-2, Actagon-2 (ME) Chaos (MC) beat Massif (C) with Bow Of Defeat. Time: 5:09 Fatigue: Massif-3
Winner: Mexico City 2-1
Injuries: Whiplash got a mild injury but it is not serious. Massif also has a mild injury but it is not of any concern.
NOTES: This game was a wild and crazy one --- In the Opening Match Stalker and Whiplash were having a wild brawl on the floor when Whiplash unleashed a low blow getting him disqualified. That is his second DQ of the season meaning he will be suspended next week --- It seemed hot tempers carried over to the Mid Card as Actagon and Invincible Krakan ended up brawling on the floor all around the ring. Krakan went too far when he slammed Actagon's head on the ring steps and got the DQ. It is his second of the season so he will be suspended next week as well --- Massif tried to get the win for Chicago but Chaos was just too much
Glasgow Rangers (2-1) @ Frankfurt Knights (3-0)
(O) Bishop Hell (F) beat Splatter (G) with Flying Cross. Time: 13:21 Fatigue: Splatter-3, Bishop Hell-1 (MC) Vengeance (G) beat Matador of M83 (F) with Gladiator Piledriver. Time: 8:26 Fatigue: Vengeance-1, Matador-2 (ME) Bloodline (G) beat Encubus (F) with Cosmic Big Bang. Time: 6:43 Fatigue: none
Winner: Glasgow 2-1
Injuries: Splatter has a medium injury that makes him questionable for next week.
NOTES: The home crowd was hot but it did not help the Knights --- Vengeance got his first win of the season to tie things up in the Mid Card --- In the Main Event Bloodline handed Encubus his first loss of the season while also giving Frankfurt their first team loss of the season
Highlight Game of the Week.
Las Vegas Aces (3-0) @ Toronto Juggernauts (2-1)
(O) Quasar (LV) beat Dreggs (T) with High Roller. Time: 2:07 Fatigue: Dreggs-1 (MC) Iron Mane (T) beat Soldier of Fortune (LV) via DQ. Time: 3:17 Fatigue: none (ME) Janus (T) beat Wolf (LV) via DQ. Time: 14:20 Fatigue: Wolf-1, Janus-2
Winner: Toronto 2-1
Injuries: None
NOTES: Quasar got the visitors off to a good start when he handed Dreggs his first loss of the season --- It looked like Las Vegas might stay undefeated then the wheels fell off the bus --- Soldier of Fortune ended up getting disqualified to even things up. It is his first DQ of the season --- Wolf had the chance to play hero and beat Janus but his wild side took over and he ended up going too far. It is Wolf's second DQ of the season so he will be suspended next week
North American Conference Record (match results)
Las Vegas Aces 3-1 (7-5) Toronto Juggernauts 3-1 (7-5) Mexico City Fire 2-2 (7-5) Los Angeles Stars 2-2 (6-6) Chicago Muscle 1-3 (5-7) New York Titans 1-3 (4-8)
