What a game today. Granted the competition was not competition but still. I loved how one of the announcers said Corum had 7 carries that did not go for a TD. Speaking of 7, that is how many Wolverines completed a pass toady. Things start getting interesting next week as we start Big Ten play.

Well, our boys showed that that school down in Ohio was overrated. If we can get Corum back, we will be VERY scary going forward. I mean we just went on the road and whipped on the #2 team in the nation WITHOUT him. Georgia will be real hard to beat but I am not worried about anyone else. Sure, any team can beat us on any given day, but I feel confident we can come out on top against whoever we play going forward.

It was a wonderful day! I actually thought OSU would win (even at the half) but my God, J.J. McCarthy played the game of his life and OSU crumbled. HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY!!! This was also the first year that my son was "into it" and it was awesome seeing how excited he was for every TD. HAIL YEAH!!!

As this season went on I wondered if JJ was overrated, and we should switch back. But there was part of me that thought he was being held back as not needed especially with Corum running over teams. It looks like that was the case. They unleashed him when he was needed the most. A few too many incomplete passes but beyond that he was awesome.

I missed the Corum had season ending surgery. I was looking forward to him and Edwards teaming up in the post season. Oh well. At least my dad is excited because he followed Edwards thru his High School career as he played less than half an hour from where my dad lives.

It is a shame Michigan decided not to start playing till the 2nd quarter. The game pretty much turned on them on their first possession when instead of kicking the FG or running it up the gut and relying on their strength they decided to get fancy and it blew up in their face. Good season/year that ended on a sour note. I hate losing the bowl game. I could not care less for being out of the BS Championship. I was not going to watch the game next Monday even if they were in it. On to next season and hopefully a third straight Big Ten title. Go Blue.

I think our boys were overconfident. Even all the talking heads on Detroit sports radio had us getting an easy win (but I was skeptical because they also predicted the Lions would hammer the Panthers). I've now learned to take anything they say with a grain of salt. They don't know any better than the guys at my neighborhood bar.
I've liked TCU for a few years now and was even telling my Michigan buddies they were not to be taken lightly. It seemed as if they shook Michigan from the start and Michigan just couldn't get their shit together. That fumble on the 1-yard line pretty mentally much sealed the game for TCU in my opinion (same thing as the Lions in the Carolina game).
Still a fantastic season though and fun to watch! Hoping TCU can do it again against Georgia!
Also, uper glad that that OSU (barely) lost! Can you imagine the shit-talking their fans would have been doing if they won? It softened the sing of our loss for sure.
NEXT YEAR!!! GO BLUE!!!
