St. Louis, awesome. Will give more thoughts later after a full listen. Nord was announced at the January event. So I of course never got to see St. Louis back when Sam was running it but it was a very fascinating fed from what I've read. I do like the sports presentation with minimal hijinks. I think I would have really enjoyed following it back in the day even with only two singles titles and no tag titles. I also recall besides the other things you guys mentioned that Sam didn't like masked wrestlers either.

Another excellent episode on another one of my favorite territories.
It was Larry Matysik whom Kevin Von Erich used to demonstrate his powerful leg ✂️. During that segment, Larry likened Kevin to Joe Stecher. There's a name you would not have heard on any other wrestling show at the time.

Btw, we have half a dozen former Missouri heavyweight champions in the game if I counted correctly.

Those state titles popping in and out. Of course if you want to count from the 75 restart, it's 5.

Another good episode. My only experience with St. Louis Wrestling was the DVD set that was mentioned on the episode. I haven't watched those in quite a while. I couldn't tell you if there were any sort of story lines presented on those discs but I just really remember the feeling that they had all of the heavy-hitters. All those wrestlers who I'd heard about for so long but had arrived at my wrestling fandom too late to see live.

A big thanks to my brother Chad for putting the final touches on the editing, dropping the episode, and making the DB announcement, while I was driving back from spring break in Arizona! Listening to the conversation, this was one episode I really wish I could have joined. The St. Louis territory has always been fascinating to me. Before I started the USWA, I thought about doing using the St. Louis model for my LOW fed.
