For those who are interested, there's a PBS documentary on You Tube called Head Over Heels: Remembering Wrestling At The Chase. I've got about two hours left in my shift... Going to watch this now! Thanks! You're welcome. Let me know what you think of it!

Always fun to learn more. Glad you liked it. I always enjoy learning more about promotions I never got to see(Memphis, Florida, Portland just to name a few). That's why I always liked watching Pro Wrestling This Week. I wish there was a similar show today for all the indies promotions.

I believe I've seen it (I've watched a couple St. Louis docs, good stuff)
Shame that most of us really missed territories in their primes. A lot of us came into it either in the dying days or once they were already dead. Might have changed the nostalgia a bit if they were still going into the 90s.

Yeah, it's this kind of nostalgia that makes me wish that I could run a group of territories in Legends... Not that I don't have the ambition... Just pretty sure that I would lose track of the numerous continuities that would need to be tracked... Still, it's always a fun dream to have stirring in the imagination.

I'll have to listen to this later. It was a little before my time but I have hazy memories of watching Wrestling at the Chase with my dad when I was a wee one. I've read the Wrestling at the Chase book a few times and I have a few WATC DVDs I bought from a friend of Larry's at the Pevely Flea Market back in the day. Also, Sam was the only reason I needed NOT to have tag belts when I finally launched a color LWF. filsingergames.proboards.com/thread/17395/lwf-wrestling-chase

I feel like the more feasible way to do something like this is to get a group of promoters together to each handle one territory. I barely have the time to run one promotion but I've thought about how cool it would be to run multiple. The tracking of differing storylines occurring in each promotion would have me losing my mind trying to keep up.

I keep saying I'm going to do multiple territories with a traveling champion when I retire but my memory might be shot by then.

In the past, I tried to run a fed where I focused on a single territory while featuring additional matches from other promotions as taped segments... Might give this another try with my next reboot. 🤞😳

Here's a dumb question - Does Crowbar Press not sell on Amazon anymore? I'm not super eager to put my credit card information into their website that looks like it's from 2002.
