Your vampire brother appeared on my most recent show. Hope he has better luck here. Me too... Though there is no shame in losing to AJ along the Phenomenal Journey. 🤘😝

RIC MCCORD def. Johnny Rodz. McCord pinned Rodz after a flying dropkicks. -- Tokens: McCord 1 - Rodz 3 - McCord almost scored a submission victory with a figure four leglock, but a surprise appearance by Steve Corino distracted the referee when Rodz was tapping out. During a post-match interview, Corino said he was digusted by the 'pretty boy' behavior of McCord and would teach him some 'old school' manners.
Ringside Interview: Leona Harp spoke to the Quebecers about their questionable victory over Andre the Giant in a Handicap Elimination match that occurred last week. They were not pleased with the direction of the conversation, stating that no one could argue with facts and they had earned a victory over the Eighth Wonder of the World. If that was not enough, they promised to face any opponents that came their way.
LANNY POFFO def. Vampiro to advance to the semifinals of the HFX Saltwire TV Championship tournament. Poffo pinned Vampiro after a crossbody block. -- Tokens: Vampiro 4 - Appearing somewhat preoccupied, Vampiro failed to remain focused on the task at hand and Poffo took full advantage of the situation.
THE SPOILER def. Yukon Eric to advance to the semifinals of the HFX Saltwire TV Championship tournament. Spoiler tapped out Eric with a BIONIC CLAW (0). -- Tokens: Eric 1 - Spolier stunned Eric with a low blow, leading to a controversial finish. In order to taunt the fans, Spoiler refused to release his hold on Eric after the bell until the referee threatened to reverse the decision.
Mr Michaels announced that next week's main event will feature a special appearance by the Rock n' Roll Express, who will take on the Quebecers in tag team action. The first semifinal match of the Saltwire TV Championship tournament between Brickhouse Brown and Rob Van Dam will take place. In addition, Ric McCord will respond to Steve Corino's earlier remarks.
BUDDY ROSE (w/ Sherri Martel) & MAD DOG VACHON def. Brickhouse Brown & Rob Van Dam via DQ. RVD was disqualified for hitting Rose with a Van Daminator. -- Tokens: n/a - It was evident that RVD was more interested in showing off than working with his partner. Brown was not impressed which resulted in a verbal exchange between the two men. With an arrogant smirk, RVD led the crowd in a 'Rob Van Dam' chant before reminding Brown to prepare for their upcoming match.

Well, it will be interesting to see what The Quebecers are getting themselves into. A good win for Lanny Poffo! The Quebecers had a lot to say following their DQ victory over Andre... Can they back up the big talk against the RnR Express? Lanny joins Brickhouse Brown as the second competitor in the semifinals that I did not really expect to advance past the opening round... Leads to some neat possibilities... Very happy that you enjoyed the latest card, my friend... Lots more to come!

HFX at the Kingfisher Club Episode 1.3 01.Jan.18 Harbourview Casino, Halifax, NS
STEVE CORINO def. Nacho Barrera. Corino pinned Barrera after a superkick. -- Tokens: Corino 3 - Barrera 1 - Corino tried to jump Barrera before the opening bell, but the referee cut him off. He was further humiliated as Barrera came very close to scoring an upset victory. Instead of sticking around to gloat, Corino bailed out to the floor and stormed away before the official decision was even announced.
Ringside Interview: Leona Harp waited to speak with Ric McCord, but he did not arrive. A member of security informed Leona that McCord had been assaulted backstage and was receiving medical attention.
JOHNNY RODZ def. Brian Blair. Rodz pinned Blair after a SHOULDER BREAKER. -- Tokens: Blair 3 - Buddy Rose showed up with his manager, Sherri Martel, to join the commentary team. They quickly revealed their ulterior motives as they harassed Blair, causing him to lose his balance while attempting a high risk move which allowed Rodz to gain firm control of this match. Rose and Martel laughed at Blair's frustration towards his ruined debut.
ROB VAN DAM def. Brickhouse Brown to advance to the final of the HFX Saltwire TV Championship tournament. RVD pinned Brown after a FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH. -- Tokens: RVD 5 - Brown 3 - Mad Dog Vachon made an appearance at ringside and was still seeking payback against Brown for knocking him out of the tournament during the opening round. RVD suffered a nasty bump when he missed a springboard moonsault from the apron to the floor and while the referee was busy checking on his condition, Vachon smashed Brown with a steel chain! Without realizing what had taken place, RVD capitalized on the opportunity.
Mr Michaels announced that next week's main event will be a rematch between Brickhouse Brown and Mad Dog Vachon. Considering what took place just moments ago, Brown has challenged Vachon to a Dog Collar match! It comes as no surprise that Vachon has accepted the challenge. The second semifinal match of the Saltwire TV Championship tournament between Lanny Poffo and The Spoiler will take place. In addition, Vampiro will compete as he tries to bounce back from his disappointing performance in the opening round of the tournament.
ROCK N' ROLL EXPRESS (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) def. Quebecers (Pierre Carl Ouellet & Jacques Rougeau). Morton pinned Rougeau after a CROSSBODY BLOCK. -- Tokens: Morton 6, Gibson 1 - Ouellet 4, Rougeau 3 - The Quebecers used questionable tactics to isolate Morton for a long period of time, but they could not keep him down. Fighting his way out of trouble, Morton made the hot tag and Gibson unloaded on both opponents! The exchange went back and forth until the Quebecers mistimed a TOWER OF QUEBEC, allowing the Rock n' Rollers to capture a crowd pleasing victory!

Brown made him work for it.
Quebecers nearly pulled it off but the Express would not be denied.
