Brown made him work for it. Quebecers nearly pulled it off but the Express would not be denied. RVD would have legitimately lost if he hadn't rolled snake eyes which triggered a surprise run-in (my house rule for using the outside interference chart - only counts the first time it's rolled by a wrestler/team during the match and usually, it's only mentioned in the summary if it has some kind of impact)... I'm pleased with the outcome and it sets up a sweet grudge match between Brickhouse and Mad Dog. Of course, I was rooting for my Quebecers... But, those vile Rock n' Rollers wouldn't stand and fight. VAMPIRO def. Frogman Leblanc. Vampiro pinned Leblanc after a NAIL IN THE COFFIN. -- Tokens: n/a
- This was an absolute squash as Vampiro made extremely short work of his opponent. Barely acknowledging the victory, Vampiro rolled out of the ring and made his exit through the crowd.
Ringside Interview: Leona Harp spoke with Brian Blair about his disappointing loss to Johnny Rodz in last week's debut. He made no excuses even though the presence of Buddy Rose and Sherri Martel had played a role. Instead of complaining, he challenged to Rodz for a rematch next week!
LOVE BROTHERS (Reginald & Hartford Love) def. Rocky Kernodle & SD Jones. Reginald pinned Jones after teaming with Hartford for a BODY SLAM/KNEE DROP combination. -- Tokens: Jones 1
- With ruthless precision, the Love Brothers isolated Jones and did not permit him anywhere near his corner to make a much needed tag. During a post-match interview, they talked about being adored by their legion of fans that all wished to be just like the glorious Love Brothers.
THE SPOILER def. Lanny Poffo to advance to the final of the HFX Saltwire TV Championship tournament. Spoiler tapped out Poffo with a BIONIC CLAW (0). -- Tokens: Poffo 3
- Things spiraled out of control before the opening bell as Vampiro blindsided Poffo while he was heading towards the ring. Security was able to pull Vampiro away from his victim, but Poffo was definitely not in top form. Wasting no time, Spoiler pounded his vulnerable opponent. Rob Van Dam made an appearance after the bell to engage in a standoff with the man that he will face next week to decide the inaugural HFX Saltwire TV Champion.
Mr Michaels announced that next week's main event will be the HFX Saltwire Championship tournament final between Rob Van Dam and The Spoiler. The earlier challenge by Brian Blair has also been answered as Johnny Rodz has agreed to a rematch. In addition, Steve Corino will be present to address the allegations that he was responsible for the backstage ambush that took out Ric McCord last week.
MAD DOG VACHON def. Brickhouse Brown in a Dog Collar match. Vachon pinned Brown after a PILEDRIVER onto a steel chair! -- Tokens: Brown 3
- Despite a noble effort, it gradually became apparent that Vachon's brutality was more than Brown could handle. Using the chain like a ripcord, Vachon whipped Brown into a corner post and then busted him wide open with repeated blows to the head. Raising the bloody chain in triumph, Vachon declared that retribution had been served!
