Hey brother Pariah! Totally pulling for Mr. Monday Night to ascend to the throne. But for the record, I was also hoping Vampiro would be facing off against RVD. If Corino didn't rough up McCord - I wonder just who did. Although the signs to seem to point to Corino's animosity. But there could always be more going on between the lines. RVD!...RVD!...RVD!... Great stuff!

Looking to see if Spoiler can play spoiler. I actually considered using the hometown advantage for The Spoiler (since he was born in Atlantic Canada), but decided to play the title match straight down the middle instead... Pleased that you're enjoying the action, my friend... Many thanks for staying tuned!

Great stuff! Leave it to Leapin' Lanny to ruin my Vampire brother's chances of being the inaugural champ... Go figure -- There's gonna be some hell to pay, I think. Corino has a devious mind and easily could have orchestrated that assault without being physically present... The drama unfolds, my friend... Thank you for being part of the audience... Bones will roll!

HFX at the Kingfisher Club Episode 1.5 01.Feb.01 Harbourview Casino, Halifax, NS
BUDDY ROSE (w/ Sherri Martel) def. Ron Hutchison. Rose pinned Hutchison after a jumping back elbow while hooking the tights. -- Tokens: n/a - A distraction by Martel helped Rose blindside Hutchison before the opening bell.
Ringside Interview: Leona Harp spoke with Steve Corino and he wasted no time denying all responsibility for the backstage assault on Ric McCord that occurred two weeks ago, stating he was competing inside the ring during the incident. McCord made an appearance to confront Corino, claiming that his excuses were quite convenient. Without warning, McCord was jumped from behind by Justin Credible! He repeatedly smashed McCord with a Singpaore cane until security arrived to halt the beatdown. Corino smirked and said the crowd had just witnessed some serious Old School Impact!
YUKON ERIC def. Frank Dalton. Eric tapped out Dalton with a KODIAK CRUNCH. -- Tokens: Dalton 2 - Making relatively short work of his opponent, Eric took some time to celebrate with the fans. During a post-match interview, Eric said that he might not be the 'sharpest lightbulb in the drawer', but he knew when someone did not fight fair and he would be watching the upcoming match for the HFX Saltwire TV Championship very closely.
BRIAN BLAIR def. Johnny Rodz. Blair tapped out Rodz with a sleeper. -- Tokens: Rodz 3 - Gaining a measure of redemption for the loss to Rodz that he suffered a couple weeks ago, Blair called out Buddy Rose after the bell. Sherri Martel walked towards the ring to offer a loud response. She distracted Blair, so Rose could attempt a sneak attack. The plan backfired as Blair spun around to meet Rose with both fists raised. Rose was so eager to escape that he tripped over the ropes and fell hard to the floor. Helping her client to his feet, Martel screamed that Blair better get ready because he will be facing the Playboy next week! Blair appeared totally satisfied.
Mr Michaels announced that next week's main event will be a No Holds Barred special attraction pitting two unpredictable brawlers against each other, Pampero Firpo vs. Bull Curry! Brian Blair will have his first meeting with Buddy Rose inside the ring. In addition, the inaugural HFX Saltwire TV Champion will address the crowd.
THE SPOILER (w/ James Mitchell) def. Rob Van Dam to win the HFX Saltwire TV Championship. Spoiler pinned RVD after a ropewalk smash. -- Tokens: RVD 2 - The presence of Mitchell in Spoiler's corner was a development that no one expected and RVD was instantly faced with an uphill battle due to his constant harassment. Spoiler would have secured a submission victory with a BIONIC CLAW if Yukon Eric had not charged towards the ringside area to level the playing field, distracting the referee in the process. While the referee instructed Eric to remain on the floor, Spoiler used his singlet to strangle his opponent. RVD struggled to catch his breath, but could not recover in time. Handing his client the newly won title belt, the Sinister Minister cackled with delight!

Spoiler played Spoiler....woot. Fun show as always. The match itself played out pretty well... Not the outcome I would have expected, but satisfactory nonetheless... And having Mitchell in his corner should help The Spoiler hold onto the title for a respectable amount of time. Stoked that you're enjoying the action, my friend... Fun times indeed!

I was convinced Mr Monday Night was going to win this one, but a great effort by The Spoiler, and love to see James Mitchell making himself known! Corino and Justin Credible dishing out sneak attacks left, right and centre, but surely they will get their comeuppance at some stage

I was convinced Mr Monday Night was going to win this one, but a great effort by The Spoiler, and love to see James Mitchell making himself known! Corino and Justin Credible dishing out sneak attacks left, right and centre, but surely they will get their comeuppance at some stage Without a doubt, I thought RVD was going to be my first ever HFX Saltwire TV Champion... But, Father James thought differently... Not even a justified assist by Yukon Eric was able to make the difference. Since we don't have Lance Storm (yet, I say - have faith) in the game, I've always liked pairing Credible & Corino as my own take on the Impact Players... We shall see who tries to take them down. Always appreciate the awesome feedback, my friend... Many thanks!
