Hello and Happy Sunday!
Has there ever been any mention of continuing the Reimagined Brand with Sudden Death 2094? I hope the color cards continue... Things seem at a standstill...

Hello and Happy Sunday! Has there ever been any mention of continuing the Reimagined Brand with Sudden Death 2094? I hope the color cards continue... Things seem at a standstill... I hope they continue too. Since they're releasing Early Classics in color it does look promising for more older sets being colorized as well. Of course I am merely speculating and have absolutely no authority on the matter.

It's been noted that they expect it will be diminishing returns in terms of sales. It is not however ruled out they might go a bit longer but the odds of going all the way through 2124 are probably thin.

Well I for one would buy 2094 and beyond. Especially since some of those middle year b/w sets are way out of print nowadays. It would be awesome to see Cyborg, Heracles, Genocide, Rebel Empire, ect in color

I am hoping 2094 gets released in color at some point, but for now I am looking very forward to the start of Early Classics getting released in color in December.

It would be awesome to see Cyborg, Heracles, Genocide, Rebel Empire, ect in color I'd buy 2094 and beyond too. Heracles and Colossus would be high on my "want list" too along with Jack Of Diamonds. Of course we've been fortunate to get some of the b/w characters colorized in the Future Shock & Kronos sets. If they decided not to continue with the re-imagined sets I wonder if it would be possible for FG to release the existing online color cards as a printable PDF. Not sure how complicated that would be but it would allow people who want colorized versions to get them without the company having to get new cards printed. Perhaps another option would be every year or two letting people vote on 2 or 3 characters they would like to see colorized and then releasing them as Special Edition cards.

The only thing keeping me interested in playing GWF at all is the hope of getting the Sudden Death, Revolution, Civil War, etc. sets released in the Reimagined formats. If they are a no, I will stick with Legends and Indies.
(This is not meant as a “produce the sets or I will quit” post, but rather an expression of how much I appreciate the Reimagined series).
With the greatest possible respect, I’m not sure about the “diminishing returns” argument. It seems like a lot of fans of the game will just buy everything, just because.

It seemed like they were just “paused” for the time being. It would make sense to do reimagined sets for the OOP B&W sets (94-100; 105-106; 119), because you cannot get those sets in hardcopy anymore.
