AirThis is the movie about Nike and how they became big by signing Michael Jordan and creating the Air Jordan. I only watched it because it was on ABC last night. It was a decent movie and interesting. Of course, hard to tell which is accurate and which is Hollywood made up stuff. One cool thing was the nostalgia of the 80s. Especially the opening credits which had a lot of clips of things from the 80s that made me smile. In the movie there are other small nods to the 80s and a lot of good 80s music. Not a movie I would say is must see but if you like the 80's, Nike, NBA, Jordan and things like that it is an enjoyable watch. I really liked Air alot which I saw last year on Amazon Prime. One of my personal favorite movies from 2023.

Today is a happy day. I just found out Natalie Portman is single. I mean I feel bad for her especially since her ex cheated on her. What a loser. Who cheats on Natalie Portman? This means my chances with her went from zero to 0.000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001%
Woo, woo

For some reason this classic Molson Canadian commercial from the past came to mind the other day. Great commercial for a terrible beer.

Agreed that Molson Canadian wasn't good, but I drank Molson Golden in 1998-1999 and that was tasty. I don't think I could handle it now though.

I picked up the first 10 Survivor Series on DVD because I wanted to watch them and because they were practically free as I just used my Hilton points to buy it on Amazon. Not one cent was spent, just points. While watching the 91 from Detroit, the one I went to and my first wrestling show live, Gorilla Monsoon made a big mistake. I do not know if he just missed it and maybe it was a sign he was getting old or if he was instructed to play it that way. In one match Shawn Michaels was pinned and got mad at Marty after because Marty accidently hit Shawn with the feet of the guy Marty lifted for a body slam. As Shawn left the ring side due to being pinned Monsoon made it seem Shawn was just leaving his partner and was counted out. Maybe Monsoon had to play it that way to help build toward the eventual breakup but if not he really botched the call on that one.

In regards to beer, I remember drinking Labatt's when I was last in Buffalo for Galacticon in 2018. I have not had Labatt's since 2018 and I plan to stay away from it when I return to Buffalo later this month. Canada has some great things that I like such as poutine, but Labatt's is just not the beer for me personally.

Growing up in Michigan as I recall Canadian beer was not too popular. The exception was when they first had ice beer as it was a higher alcohol content than standard American beer.

Maybe Monsoon had to play it that way to help build toward the eventual breakup but if not he really botched the call on that one. I caught that too while watching. It's almost as bad as the 1989 Royal Rumble when Hulk Hogan and Big Boss Man are having their one-on-one face off and Monsoon says that Hogan had been out there for half an hour when it had only been maybe ten minutes at most since he had entered. I remember Jesse Ventura called him out on that one. Just a quick suggestion about those Survivor Series DVD's: I would strongly recommend buying some proper snap-in cases for storage. When I bought those two anthology volumes along with the first two Summerslam ones the slide-in compartments with those cheap cardboard backings scratched up the discs causing them to skip and freeze on the first viewing. After receiving two separate replacements from Amazon and still having the same problem I emailed WWE directly expressing my disappointment. A day or two later I received a phone call from their Vice President of Home Media who apologized and sent me replacement copies along with snap-in cases PLUS the other volumes in the Summerslam series even though I hadn't ordered them. That was really cool of her. Thankfully I haven't had skipping/freezing issues since. The Royal Rumble anthologies have proper snap-in cases so I've never had a problem with them. Hopefully you don't experience the same issues that I did.

Thanks for the suggestion. As far as Monsoon that was his last Survivor as he was replaced with Vince the next year.
