Booking Committee Meeting Minutes September 23, 2088 Attendees Omega - (Chairman) Thantos Lord Nexus Exo-King Invincible Krakan Commander Sam The meeting was called to order by Omega at 10:07 AM I. Review of annual revenues - Omega presented a tally of all gross and net gate receipts for the year (See attachment A), stated that the GWF was in very good financial shape and should continue with the current plan for managed expansion. II. Talent scouting and recruitment - Omega reported out that there are currently 38 wrestlers on the roster (19 each for the Alliance and Confederation). He explained that the GWF should stay the course with roster sizes and show schedules. Substantial roster growth at this time could severely dilute the quality of their product. He did strongly advocate for a continued emphasis on talent recruitment, explaining that they needed to continue to attract the best from the galaxy so that they could position themselves as the galaxy's premier wresting organization. He went on to say that unfortunately, this meant that they all needed to take a hard look at those who are underperforming and consider releasing them from their contracts. He thanked Exo-King for establishing this precedent with his firing of Duke of Destruction. Thantos made a motion to expand the roster to 40 wrestler split evenly between Alliance and Confederation. Lord Nexus seconded. The motion passed unanimously. III. Women's Division - There was a brief discussion regarding the establishment of a Women's Division. All considered the first match to be an overwhelming success, but that it was premature to establish a formal division. Lord Nexus reported that preliminary discussions have begun regarding a contract for a three match series between Hale and Princess Pain and encouraged the other members of the Committee to begin recruiting women in earnest. New BusinessIV. GWF Managers, Trainers and Valets - Omega opened the discussion by explaining to the Committee that it was time to reconsider the proposal he made last year and quickly ran through the advantages of having non-wrestlers available to handle non-wrestling functions. Thantos reiterated his previous position and explained that the success of the GWF was driven by its authenticity, and that would be irreparably compromised if non-wrestlers were suddenly injected to the GWF. He again pointed out his belief that this was nothing more than another power play by Omega to stay in control even though his time in the ring nears its end. Thantos requested that the vote be conducted by role call and all members agreed. Omega called the role, starting with himself as Chairman. Each member's comments are captured for the record. Omega: The motion on the floor is the removal of the by-law that restricts managers, trainers and other non-wrestlers from joining the GWF. A vote of aye will remove that restriction and allow for non-wrestlers to join the GWF in any capacity, effective January 1, 2089. A vote of nay will keep that restriction in place and keep the status quo. I vote aye. Thantos: Nay Invincible Krakan: I can't believe you fools are considering sharing what we have with a bunch of outsiders. Nay! Commander Sam: We can't police ourselves forever. We can't run around the galaxy scouting and recruiting forever. It's time. Aye. Lord Nexus: My closest friend in this business and someone I trust more than anyone is begging me to not let this happen. But unfortunately he is stuck in the past and with a romanticized notion of what wrestling should be, not what it is. He isn't wrong, but we need to step forward, not look backwards. Aye. Exo-King: Nobody has had more personnel issues to handle than me. All of my energies are being spent on trying to keep my team from killing each other, or firing underperforming knuckleheads, or waking up one day to find out that I need to turn myself into a tag wrester because someone else dropped on the Confederation is being mismanaged. I am tired of being stuck on the mid-card because all of my focus is outside of the ring. I vote Aye. Omega announced that the measure passed 4-2 over the screaming objections of Thantos and quickly adjourned the meeting at 12:27 PM.

GWN - Galactic Wrestling News October 8, 2088 GWF News and Rumors There was a flurry of activity at GWF headquarters in the days following last month's Booking Committee meeting. Omega has submitted both his wrestling retirement paperwork (effective January 1, 2089) as well as his manager's contract (also effective January 1, 2089). This was followed by a manager's contract for Solaris, a guru from Proxima Centauri with close ties to Actagon. Trainer Jim's manager's contract arrived at headquarters yesterday. The GWF also received a signed contract for Sweet Thing, making her the first ever woman under a full time contract to the GWF. The paperwork was submitted by Vanity and apparently the two are currently dating. Her contract describes her role as "non-wrestling assistant and companion". As with all other non-wrestling contracts, it goes into effect January 1st. Thantos is apparently still fuming over the events of the last board meeting. Unnamed sources are saying that he has "vowed to shake things up". It is highly anticipated that changes will be made to the Booking Committee, with Exo-King falling out of favor and Massacre lobbying hard for a seat. Don't be surprised for changes to be made to the makeup of the Royal Court as well. Pit Viper has been spotted on Neptune and is currently training full time with the Space Croppers. There are rumors that he may form a tag team with Beast Rider, freeing up Renegade to make a run at the Heavy Metal Title. Finally, it appears that Omega's earlier trip to Cetus has paid dividends, as Galactic Punisher has joined the Alliance. He is set to debut at Grand Finale II. This brings the Alliance roster up to it's maximum of 20 wrestlers. However, a space will be created once Omega retires on January 1st.

Press Conference Thantos' Personal Gym - Maffei II November 5, 2088
A small gaggle of press sipped coffee out of paper cups while waiting for Thantos. On the far side of the gym, two young women were sparring in a full size wrestling ring. Thantos did not keep the press waiting long. "Thank you all for joining me today. I realize Maffei II is a bit out of the way, but logistics made it necessary for me to speak with you here. As everyone is painfully aware, the GWF has recently made the decision to allow non-wrestlers into the organization. I still consider this to be a grave mistake, but I did not get where I am today by dwelling on the past. As always, I understand my present and look to the future. And quite frankly, it is imperative that the Confederation adapt to the new landscape of the GWF in order to remain the dominant faction of the Federation." "Over the last two weeks I have told anyone that would listen that we are going to use this drastic and shortsighted change to our advantage. We are going to use this change as a catalyst to shake things up! As good as the Confederation has been, we can be better. The first step in that process has already begun. In the minutes before this press conference began, I electronically submitted contracts to the GWF front office for the first two Confederation non-wrestlers. Since their performance period does not formally begin until January 1st, I felt it more appropriate to conduct this press conference off site." Thantos smiled and motioned towards a door, "And now it is time to meet the Confedration's first two managers!" The door opened and two men emerged. The first was a middle aged man. He was fit and lean, and his face was framed by a white Fu-Manchu mustache. He wore purple robes and carried a scepter with him. His expression indicated that he was clearly impressed with himself. He was followed by a man dressed in leather from head to toe, including a mask presumably to hide his identity. His steps were light and effortless and his black cloak seemed to float behind him. Thantos continued, "First, I would like to introduce the Royal Overlord. He has been charged with managing the Royal Court. He has been charged with assessing the team and has the authority to make any adjustments that he deems necessary. He is joined by Darkos. Darkos will be establishing a new stable for the Confederation. He has been tasked with assessing the entire Confederation roster and identifying those wrestlers that could use a change in training, strategy or scenery to improve their performance so that it matches their potential. I am very excited to add these two men and their talents to the Confederation. We will now take any questions that you may have." Question: "Does this mean that Exo-King is no longer the leader of the Royal Court" Thantos: "That is correct. Exo-King himself expressed deep dissatisfaction with the burden of leadership. The hiring of Royal Overlord will resolve this hardship for him" Question: "Royal Overlord, what do you think of the stable that you are inheriting?" Royal Overlord: "For starters, I think the world of Exo-King and consider him a champion caliber wrestler. I look forward to working closely with him. I have been an admirer of Killer Queen for a long time and consider him one of the most underrated wrestlers in the GWF. I admit I am a bit less familiar with Bishop Hell and Death Knight, but I have been watching tape and will be sitting down with them shortly." Question: "Darkos, any initial thoughts on who you are going to manage?" Darkos: "None that I am willing to share." Question: "Thantos, Will Royal Overlord be replacing Exo-King on the booking committee?" Thantos: "Exo-King will be replaced. However, we have not made any decisions on his replacement yet." The press conference continued for another ten minutes, with both managers fielding questions regarding their background and management philosophies.

GWN - Galactic Wrestling News December 4, 2088 GWF News and Rumors More details have emerged regarding the incident involving Wolf at Amazon Arena. The woman who hopped the rails got into an altercation with the man in the top hat. He has been identified as Reynard B. Guile, a small time wrestling manager and promoter. After arriving backstage, the woman talked with arena security then both her and Wolf met with Omega. Subsequent to that conversation, a manager's contract for Amazonia was submitted to the league office. We are hearing from multiple sources that the woman in question has assumed the name Amazonia to protect her identity, and will indeed be joining the GWF effective January 1st. Reynard B. Guile was interviewed by arena security and released. He subsequently filed a lawsuit against both Wolf and the GWF. The GWF and Mr. Guile have apparently come to terms, with Mr. Guile receiving an undisclosed settlement plus a manager's contract in exchange for him dropping both lawsuits. It is widely believed that he will be part of the Confederation, but there are no details regarding his specific role. Darkos has been in discussions with Invincible Krakan and Thantos. There are rumors that he is interested in Executioner and Splatter forming a tag team called Bash and Slash. Pit Viper and Renegade got into a physical altercation during a training session and Pit Viper is no longer working out with the Space Croppers. The Royal Overlord has been hard at work even though he not officially under contract. He has signed Mad Jester to a contract, brining the Confederation roster up to their maximum of 20 wrestlers. Not much is known about Mad Jester, but he has a reputation for being a strong technical wrestler, but also a bit of a head case. There are rumors of him being previously incarcerated and/or institutionalized but neither can be substantiated.
