Highlights from World Championship Wrestling- Ted Dibiase kicked off the show by calling out his "insurance policy" King Kong Bundy. Dibiase made Solie roll the VTR of Ox Baker knocking down the walking condominium with the big HEART PUNCH. Dibiase also let it be known that doctors have told Bundy to stay out of competition for at least three weeks. Dibiase called Bundy a disgrace and said that if the big man wanted to remain with him he had to shine the Million Dollar Man's shoes right there on national television. Just then Bobo Brazil made his way from the back and said that Dibiase has made a living making a disgrace of other human beings. Bobo referenced the George South challenge, the shoving of money down Ilio Dipaolo's throat, and now trying to get Bundy to shine his shoes. Bobo said that if Dibiase is a man then he will step in the ring with George South on 2/7 at the Omni with Bobo in South's corner.
- The Valiants opened their "$100,000" champagne and donned the celebratory t-shirts while showing off their new World Tag Team Title belts. They talked about embarassing the Road Warriors in Columbus and said the Roadies proved they weren't up to the challenge. When Solie told Jimmy Valiant that he had booked in a one-on-one match with Hawk at the Omni, Valiant flipped!
- "Playboy" Buddy Rose and Gorgeous George talked about their matches this weekend. Rose will be going one-on-one with The Destroyer with the winner facing GCW National Heavyweight champion The Iron Sheik in Dalton on 2/14. Rose said that he had two straight singles victories and would three has always been his lucky number. Gorgeous George, however, appeared less confident since his opponent will be the man who put King Kong Bundy on the shelf, Ox Baker. George said that he already put away Baker's ugly friends--though when I'm not sure, Hutton and Sandman recorded a victory over George & Rose this past weekend--and he plans on doing the same to Baker.
- Buddy Rogers and Frank Gotch had a face to face interview where the GCW World Heavyweight Title was first shown to the public. Gotch told Rogers that while he respected his abilities that he felt his mind was elsewhere and that he could not overcome the training that Gotch had put himself through. Rogers said that no man escapes the GRAPEVINE and that Gotch could train all he wanted to, but he would be just another victim in Rogers's march toward the title. At the end of the interview Gotch extended his hand and said, "May the best man win." Rogers winked and grabbed Gotch's hand and jerked him forward until the two men were face to face. Rogers simply said, "Don't worry, he will."
2/7 preview coming up next!!

FEBRUARY 7TH AT THE OMNI IN ATLANTA, GA- The main event is a big one as "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers faces Frank Gotch in the finals of the GCW World Heavyweight Title tournament. Gotch has remained away from GCW competition the last two weeks training in his native Humboldt, IA for this showdown. Buddy Rogers has been around and some say that he hasn't been focusing on training to win the belt. Will Gotch walk away the champion or will Rogers apply the finisher that everyone talks about, but no one wants to be on the receiving end of, the FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE?
- Hawk will go one-on-one with one half of the GCW World Tag Team champions, Jimmy Valiant. The Road Warriors and the Valiants had an absolute war last weekend in Columbus and it extends to The Omni. The Valiants seemed extremely confident this week on World Championship Wrestling, but can Jimmy beat Hawk without the assistance of his tag team partner?
- The Destroyer goes one-on-one with "Playboy" Buddy Rose with the winner getting a shot at the National Heavyweight Title next weekend. The Destroyer certainly has a personal stake in this one after falling victim to The Iron Sheik for the belt. Buddy Rose has two consecutive singles victories over Dick Hutton and would love to bring home some gold to Gorgeous George and Cherie Dupre. Will Rose continue his hot streak or will The Destroyer earn his rematch against The Iron Sheik?
- The battle rages on as Red Bastien will face The Iron Sheik's tag team partner, Nikolai Volkoff. Volkoff & Sheik were disqualified in Columbus after Sheik bloodied Bastien with the loaded boot and now the red head wants some revenge! Will he be able to topple the Russian behemoth or will Volkoff walk away with another victory for this team of foreign menaces?
- Johnny Valentine is putting on an exhibition for Buddy Rogers as he prepares to face him next week in Dalton. Valentine's opponent will be Johnny Rodz and this may be one to take the kids to the souvenir stand during, folks. This one will be ugly!
- After last week's victory over Gorgeous George & "Playboy" Buddy Rose, "Cowboy" Dick Hutton & The Sandman will be teaming again to face Brutus Beefcake & Greg Valentine. Hutton and Sandman had great chemistry last week against George & Rose, will they be able to continue that against Beefcake & Valentine?
- Ox Baker put King Kong Bundy away last weekend in Columbus and has his sights set on Gorgeous George at The Omni! Baker has been out of sight while his friends Dick Hutton & The Sandman have gone to war with George & Buddy Rose, but he finds himself in the thick of battle in this one. The real question: can Gorgeous George survive the HEART PUNCH?
- The $25,000 challenge continues as George South faces the man with the money, Ted Dibiase. Normally Dibiase would be heavily favored in this one, but Bobo Brazil being in South's corner is the great equalizer. Will Bobo stay out of the ring and let South fight his own battle? Or will he try to embarrass Dibiase in front of the huge Atlanta crowd?
We're six weeks in and GCW is heating up! This is one you don't want to miss, folks!

Like the fed, but have a question: Will the World Titles be defended less frequently than the National titles? All titles will probably be defended once or twice a month depending on the rotating schedule I've decided to use as of right now. This is subject to change at any point. The schedule will go: NT, TT, WT, NT, TT, WT, etc.

Card #006 The Omni Coliseum Atlanta, GA February 7th, 2009
1. $25,000 Challenge: Ted Dibiase w/ Virgil defeated George South via disqualifcation after Bobo Brazil attacked Dibiase when he came out of the ring. When this one first started most in The Omni were probably wondering just who's side Bobo Brazil was on. Dibiase was having no troubles maintaining the tempo of the match, and completely dominating South, when he rolled out of the ring to jaw with Brazil. About half way through his first statement Bobo nailed "The Million Dollar Man" with a big headbutt that sent Dibiase reeling. Bobo continued with big hammer punches and then allowed George South to get some quick rights and lefts in there while Brazil held off Virgil. After the match Bobo drug Dibiase in the middle of the ring and haf South pin him. Bobo counted the 1-2-3!
2. Greg Valentine & Brutus Beefcake defeated The Sandman & Dick Hutton when Hutton submitted to the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. Beefcake & Valentine have been to looking to get on the winning track and they found just that against Hutton & Sandman. Early in the match, while Hutton & Valentine had the ref tied up in the ring, Beefcake hit The Sandman with a low blow and took away his great equalizer: the Singapore cane. He tried and tried to get the cane back, but to no avail as Beefcake and Valentine kept a stern eye on it. Hutton meanwhile kept his focus on the wrestling match at hand and seemed overwhelmed by the tag team proficiency displayed by Beefcake and Valentine. After working over the Oklahoman's legs, Valentine slapped on his FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK and the rest is history.
3. Hawk defeated GCW World Tag Team champion Jimmy Valiant after a FLYING CLOTHESLINE. Jimmy Valiant started the match by grabbing a microphone and demanding how the unfair the bookers had been by telling him on World Championship Wrestling instead of outside the locker room. Valiant said he was one half of the greatest tag team in the world and he demanded that he get some respect for the position that he and his brother have put themselves in. Hawk, however, was the not the person who would show Valiant any respect for his position. Hawk overwhelmed Jimmy with his brawling technique and then tossed the World Tag Team champion around the ring like an old toy. Valiant tried to beg off and head to the back all to feel a running a clothesline from the Road Warrior! Hawk finished the match with a FLYING CLOTHESLINE and promised the Atlanta fans that next time he was in Atlanta he would be the one wearing tag team gold!
4. Nikolai Volkoff w/ Nikita Breznikov defeated Red Bastien after the double thrust. Bastien's struggles against Breznikov's boys continue! He has yet to beat either Volkoff or Shek in a singles match and last weekend in Columbus he and The Destroyer could pick up only a DQ victory in a tag team match. Breznikov let this be known throughout the match calling Bastien a loser and just generally distracting him. Bastien held his own against Volkoff's power until Nikolai hit the big double thrust. Bastien was down for the count and after the match Breznikov ran into the ring and spit on Red while Nikolai stood over him waving the Soviet flag.
5. Gorgeous George w/Cherie Dupre defeated Ox Baker when George grabbed Baker's tights in a small package. George looked absolutely terrified when the bell rang to start this one, in light of Baker's crippling of King Kong Bundy. Ox hasn't had an opportunity to get in on the feud between his friends Dick Hutton and The Sandman and finally took it in this one! He absolutely manhandled George tossing him from corner-to-corner and nailing some of the nastiest punches the GCW has ever seen! However after Baker's dominance, George saw an opening and took it with a big low blow! He wrapped the big man in a small package and grabbed the tights getting the 1-2-3 and the victory!
6. Special Exhibition: Johnny Valentine defeated Johnny Rodz via countout after Valentine hit the ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER outside of the ring and Rodz could not make the count. This was nothing more than a message sent to Buddy Rogers about their match next week in Dalton. Valentine took no mercy on Rodz and even spit on him as he walked to the back after being declared the winner. Folks, Rogers/Valentine is next week and you do NOT want to miss that one! It will be a war!
7. The Destroyer defeated "Playboy" Buddy Rose w/ Cherie Dupre with the single leg Boston crab. Buddy Rose is garnering a reputation for surprising victories and resilency here in the early days of Georgia Championship Wrestling. While his resilency didn't translate into a victory in this one, it certainly seemed like it might a few times during the match. The Destroyer was absolutely dominant and seemingly had Rose defeated several times only to then be completely shocked by Rose finding some way to keep the match going. Destroyer finally made Buddy submit in the crab and thus earning a title shot against the Iron Sheik next week in Dalton, but Buddy Rose continues shocking GCW fans!
8. "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers defeated Frank Gotch in two straight falls to become the first ever GCW World Heavyweight champion!!! Neither man was able to garner any real advantage on the other in this one. Both men had trained his extensively and Rogers, with the doubts surrounding him coming into this one, shocked Gotch with his ability to keep up on the mat. Gotch would always think that he had Rogers in check until Buddy would completely shock Frank, and The Omni Coliseum, with some bit of wrestling never before seen from "The Nature Boy". The first fall saw Gotch apply his TOEHOLD only for Rogers to make his way to the ropes for a clean rope break. After defeating Gotch with a dropkick in the first fall, Rogers applied his dreaded GRAPEVINE and made his opponent submit in the second fall.
Mayor Hartsfield of Atlanta came to the ring after the match and shook hands with Rogers and named him the first "Georgia World's Heavyweight champion!" Gotch approached Rogers, donning the belt around his waist, and shook hands with him. Gotch raised Buddy's arm in victory and showed the fans their first champion!

Highlights from World Championship Wrestling- Johnny Valentine was interviewed and told Gordon Solie that he was going to put the GCW World Heavyweight champion "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers on the shelf this weekend in Dalton. Valentine stated that Rogers has already robbed him of one victory and that this weekend he will rob Rogers of what he loves the most: the title!
- Harley Race and Nick Bockwinkel were interviewed and had some tough words for just about everybody. Bockwinkel said that he has yet to be pinned and that includes by the man who made to the finals of the GCW World Heavyweight Title tournament, Frank Gotch. Harley Race said that Rogers had better stop his catfighting with Johnny Valentine because he and Bockwinkel are coming full force for the title.
- Ted Dibiase was interviewed via telephone from Piedmont Hospital. He said that Bobo Brazil violently and needlessly attacked him at The Omni and that Bobo would pay a heavy price. Dibiase announced that this weekend in Dalton, Brazil would go one-on-one with a member of Dibiase's Million Dollar Corportion, Buff Bagwell.
- The Valiant Brothers seemed more confident than one would expect after Jimmy's loss to Hawk in Atlanta. They said that they have talked to certain higher-ups and that they are confident the Road Warriors will pay for their violent actions.
- In the surprise of the day, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan appeared to speak with Gordon Solie. Bobby said that he is searching the GCW for a potential client and he has his eye on certain wrestlers. Gordon asked if Bobby cared to share and "The Brain" declined to do so at this time.
February 14th at the Fort Hill School Gymnasium in Dalton, GA!!- It's a main event grudge match as GCW World Heavyweight champion "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers takes on Johnny Valentine. The bad blood has been running since the very first GCW card and GCW officials have decided that it is time for these two to have an opportunity to settle it in the ring. Will Rogers make Valentine submit to the GRAPEVINE as he did in Rome or will Valentine pin the champion's shoulders to the mat?
- It's a rematch of the finals of the GCW National Heavyweight Title tournament as The Destroyer faces The Iron Sheik. Sheik used his loaded boot and CAMEL CLUTCH to defeat "The Intelligent, Sensational" Destroyer. Will The Destroyer be able to apply his FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK and bring home the title or will Sheik prevail once again with his dirty antics? The stakes are raised even higher in this one after Breznikov's remarks about Destroyer and his tag team partner, Red Bastien, last Saturday at The Omni.
- It's a tag team match for the ages as Frank Gotch teams with his training partner, Giant Baba, to do battle with Harley Race & Nick Bockwinkel. Bockwinkel and Race were bad mouthing Gotch on World Championship Wrestling and both men have defeated Baba in singles competition. Will Gotch & Baba shut the loud mouthed duo up or will Race and Bockwinkel prove to be too potent a force?
- Brutus Beefcake will team with Gorgeous George & "Playboy" Buddy Rose in six man tag team action as they do battle with Ox Baker, The Sandman, and "Cowboy" Dick Hutton. Beefcake and his tag team partner, Greg Valentine, defeated Hutton & Sandman at The Omni and George & Rose quickly asked him to join them for this battle. "The Gorgeous One" had better keep an eye out, however, as Ox Baker is not happy about the way George walked away from the match with a handful of tights.
- In what's sure to be a wild one, Killer Kowalski will go one-on-one with Greg Valentine. We have not seen much from Valentine in singles competition and he faces a man who downed his tag team partner earlier in the year.
- Buff Bagwell is looking to get some Million Dollar Revenge on Bobo Brazil after Bobo put Bagwell's friend Ted Dibiase in the hospital. Does the Million Dollar Corporation have a surprise in line for Bobo?
- Plus two more exciting bouts!
The aciton is heating up folks and with a title match and a HUGE grudge match this is a GCW event that will sell out quickly! You do not want to miss this one!

Card #007 Fort Hill School Gymnasium Dalton, GA 2/14/2009
1. "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka defeated Larry Sharpe with a leapfrog and chop. "Superfly" has been on a losing track since the launch of GCW and he was looking to get into the winner's column with this one. Sharpe, obviously, proved to be no match for the versatile Snuka who took out Larry with ease. A confident looking Snuka headed to the back after his victory with the audience cheering on Jimmy's victory.
2. Bob Orton, Sr. & "Iron" Mike Dibiase defeated Red Bastien & Ilio Dipaolo after Orton executed a PILEDRIVER on Bastien. Orton and Dibiase have the been the surprise tag team thus far in 2009. They certainly surprised the Dalton crowd by picking up a win over the favored Dipaolo & Bastien. The losing duo was utilizing their power/agility combo when hit a nasty looking low blow on Dipaolo that sent him reeling down to the mat. Ilio & Red tried to find a combination that could put them back in the driver's seat, but it was no avail! Orton & Dibiase walk away, once again, victorious.
3. Buff Bagwell w/Virgil defeated Bobo Brazil after a BUFF BLOCKBUSTER. Talk about surprises! The crowd was red hot for this one, cheering every single offensive move from Bobo! It seemed like Bobo was headed for a sure victory after the dreaded COCO BUTT was hit on Bagwell, but Virgil jumped on the ring apron and distracted the referee just long enough for Bobo to come over and grab Virgil by the collar! Just when Bobo was going to throw the bodyguard into the ring he was hit by a big forearm to the head and fell directly to the mat. The referee restored order, but it was too late as Bagwell had already struck some nasty blows on Brazil. One BUFF BLOCKBUSTER later and Bagwell was the victor. After the match Bagwell hit another BUFF BLOCKBUSTER and told Virgil to cover Bobo. Bagwell himself counted the 1-2-3!
4. Greg Valentine defeated Killer Kowalski with a neckbreaker. Kowalski came into this one with two losses all year: one to Frank Gotch and one in tag team competition. This one was a shocker! Greg Valentine kept a brawling offense on Kowalski who seemingly could find no way out of his corner. He fought with a big boot and even biting the younger Valentine's head during one portion of the match, but Valentine kept on the offense and walked away from this one with a victory! A HUGE win for Greg Valentine here.
5. Ox Baker, The Sandman, & "Cowboy" Dick Hutton defeated Gorgeous George, "Playboy" Buddy Rose, & Brutus Beefcake w/Cherie Dupre via count-out after Ox Baker hit his HEART PUNCH on George outside of the ring. This one, as was to be expected, was completely wild! No one could contain the team of Baker, Sandman, & Hutton from taking the action outside of the ring and any time someone tried, they got threatened with a bit of steel chair. The match ended after Baker had dragged George outside of the ring and knocked his head into each of the four ring posts, thrown him against the guardrail, and then executed the HEART PUNCH that sent "The Gorgeous One" down. Instead of attempting to break the count--as Sandman & Hutton had been doing--Beefcake, Rose, & Dupre all rushed to George's side to see if he was okay. Sandman, Baker, and Hutton all enjoyed a refreshment after the match.
6. Harley Race & Nick Bockwinkel defeated Frank Gotch & Giant Baba when Bockwinkel pinned Frank Gotch after a knee smash to the back. Another terrific match in front of this Dalton audience; there must be something in the water! Gotch putting on a wrestling exhibition, Race playing chicken heel who wanted no part of Gotch's amateur background, Bockwinkel proceeding to match Gotch hold-for-hold, Baba and Race brawling all over the ringside area, and finally, Race bringing the brawler out of Frank Gotch. The Dalton audience was eating every single part of this one up! The final moments of the match saw Bockwinkel throwing everything at Gotch that he could only to see the Humboldt native find some way to kick out or escape after a big knee smash to the back, however, it seemed that Gotch had taken too much punishment. Bockwinkel & Race back up their boasting on World Championship Wrestling and they walk away victorious. But an admirable showing from Baba & Gotch, both of whom received a standing ovation on their way back to the dressing room.
7. GCW National Heavyweight champion The Iron Sheik w/ Nikita Breznikov retained his title over The Destroyer via count-out after Sheik assaulted Destroyer with his loaded boot. Breznikov got on the microphone before this one and demanded the audience show some respect to their National Heavyweight champion. The audience declined and began throwing trash into the ring which caused Breznikov to assault them even more. He told them the only reason they cheer for Bastien & The Destroyer is because they are both losers and the fans have no experience with winning, so why would they cheer for that? One fan tried to jump the rail, but he was stopped and Breznikov called him typical American trash and taunted him even more as the security guards took him away.
The Destroyer came to the ring ready for a fight and Sheik was willing to give him one. This one gets more and more personal with Breznikov's big mouth and the seeming inability of Destroyer and his tag team partner Bastien to get a victory over either Volkoff or Sheik. Destroyer looked like he might be marching toward that first victory until Breznikov distracted him, allowing Sheik to load the boot. Once the loaded boot attack started Destroyer was powerless and, eventually, on his back outside of the ring. Sheik counted with the referee to the inevitable ten and Breznikov joined him in the ring with the GCW National Heavyweight Title. The fans continued pelting the two men with trash they headed to the back.
8. Johnny Valentine with his corner man, Brutus Beefcake defeated GCW World Heavyweight champion "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers with a forearm hammer in a non-title match. It's the match all GCW wrestling fans were waiting for and, guys, they were NOT disappointed! An absolute war between these two superstars and the fans had lost no steam from the Sheik/Destroyer encounter. Buddy Rogers cornering Johnny Valentine and assaulting him with some big rights and lefts to the face, which busted open Valentine, got the biggest pop of the match. While, the second biggest, behind Rogers applying the FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE! Johnny Valentine found a way to shock the audience, however, when he reached the ropes to break Rogers's big move!
When Valentine nailed the ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER, the entire Fort Hill School Gymnasium felt this one might have reached it's conclusion--and trust me, there wasn't a person sitting in the whole Gymnasium--and when Rogers kicked out the audience EXPLODED and, I think, the entire building might have shaken. Rogers mounted one more comeback and nailed a big atomic drop and went for the cover, but Johnny Valentine's corner man Brutus Beefcake jumped onto the apron disrupting the count. This did not play in Rogers's favor! Buddy assaulted the barber to the stars and turned his sights back on to Valentine who seemed to fight harder and harder the more he bled. Eventually his forearm hammer proved to be enough and he pinned the GCW World Heavyweight champion cleanly in the middle of the ring.
After the match, Johnny Valentine and Beefcake began assaulting Rogers even further and were eventually joined by Greg Valentine. Johnny Valentine took Rogers's belt and slammed Buddy right in the head with it. The three men then began laying the boots to the champion and the security guards were AGAIN having to restrain audience members from rioting. However, "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka made his way to the ring area and after some punches and kicks encouraged the Valentines & Beefcake to leave the ring area! Jimmy Snuka and Buddy Rogers have been having problems, but Snuka makes the save for the GCW World Heavyweight champion!
Tune into World Championship Wrestling to see from the fall out from this one, folks!
(OOC: Best card I've played since the beginning of GCW! Three legitimate **** matches with Orton & Dibiase/Bastien & Dipaolo, Race & Bock/Gotch & Baba, and Rogers/Valentine. Plus chock full of surprises by the dice. Dalton was not disappointed with this one!)

Highlights from World Championship Wrestling- The Valiant Brothers, donning their GCW World Tag Team Titles, kicked off the show by coming to Gordon Solie's podium with a piece of paper "straight from the commissioner's office!" The Valiants said they hoped The Road Warriors were watching at home, because this was news they certainly wanted to hear. This weekend in Jasper, GA The Valiant Brothers will be defending their World Tag Team Titles. Only they will be defending them against Bob Orton, Sr. & "Iron" Mike Dibiase! Big high fives from The Valiants and Jimmy Valiant said "Road Warriors just keep hoping, because you're never going to get your hands on these belts!" Gordon Solie noted that the Valiants might just be taking Orton & Dibiase a little too lightly.
- Red Bastien, The Destroyer, and Ilio Dipaolo were interviewed about Nikolai Volkoff & The Iron Sheik. The Destroyer and Bastien said that if The Iron Sheik isn't forced to take off the loaded boot then their only option is to fight fire with fire. The Destroyer said he was robbed of his National Heavyweight Title shot because of GCW officials lack of courage when it comes to enforcing the rules. He has filed with GCW officials about another title shot with perhaps certain stipulations being mandated that make it "more of a fair fight." Ilio Dipaolo said he is going to wipe the mat with Nikolai Volkoff this weekend in Jasper, GA and he will "shut that little runt Breznikov up!"
- Buddy Rogers and Jimmy Snuka shared some words with a GCW reporter. Rogers said that he had lost sight of what mattered in his fight for the title and in his battle with Johnny Valentine, but that he appreciated Snuka coming to his aid last weekend in Dalton. Snuka said that this weekend in Jasper he and the GCW World Heavyweight champion Buddy Rogers are going to teach Greg Valentine & Brutus Beefcake a lesson about intervening in other people's affairs. Rogers was asked about the clean pinfall Johnny Valentine scored over him and Buddy Rogers said that Johnny Valentine gets one more chance to pin him in one week in Savannah, GA and if he does it then, then Valentine walks away the champion. Rogers said that Valentine had better be prepared, however, because it will be the fight of his life!! In one week, Buddy Rogers and Johnny Valentine will go one-on-one for the GCW World Heavyweight Title!
- Nick Bockwinkel complained that he has pinned Frank Gotch, Giant Baba, and Jimmy Snuka and yet the GCW Championship Committee has not been calling him naming Bockwinkel the #1 contender. Bockwinkel said the only loss he suffered was a cheap win by Frank Gotch when the referee felt bad that Gotch had taken such a beating at the hands of Bockwinkel. Bockwinkel then reminded us that that had been corrected last week in Dalton when he pinned Gotch's shoulders to the mat. Frank Gotch came out to the podium and told Bockwinkel that he could not do the same in a one-on-one encounter. Bockwinkel tried to weasel his way out, but eventually agreed to a one-on-one contest with Frank Gotch.
- Gorgeous George called Ox Baker an animal that must be tamed and said that he will be the one to cage Baker. However, he said, after the traumatic events of last weekend he will be taking a break from competition in Jasper. He also said that Buddy Rose would bash The Sandman's head with his own Singapore cane this weekend.
February 21st at Pickens County High School Gymnasium in Jasper, GA!
- In a controversial main event, the GCW World Tag Team Titles will be on the line as The Valiant Brothers defend against Bob Orton, Sr. & "Iron" Mike Dibiase. Orton & Dibiase have had success thus far in the year and many felt they were marching toward a tag team title shot, however The Road Warriors pushed the Valiants to the limit in the GCW World Tag Team Title tournament finals and Hawk scored a victory over Jimmy Valiant at The Omni Coliseum. Nonetheless this is the match and Orton & Dibiase are no easy task. Will The Valiants cruise through the match as they say they will or will Orton & Dibiase pull out the shocker and bring home tag team gold?
- It's a tag team grudge match as GCW World Heavyweight champion "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers teams with "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka to face Brutus Beefcake & Greg Valentine. Not only was the champion defeated by Greg Valentine's father Johnny last weekend, he was ambushed after the match by Greg Valentine and Beefcake. Jimmy Snuka made the surprising save and now Rogers and Snuka are teaming for the first time since the Tag Team Title tournament! Also hanging over the match is next weekend's confrontation between Johnny Valentine and Buddy Rogers for the GCW World Heavyweight Title!
- Nick Bockwinkel's confidence can be grating and it has gotten to Frank Gotch! Bockwinkel claims that Gotch's victory over him in the World Title tournament was the referee feeling badly for Gotch and awarding him the match via DQ. Bock points to his pinfall victory over Gotch in a tag team match last weekend as evidence of this and the Humboldt native is mad about it! This one is sure to be a technical wrestling clinic that you do not want to miss.
- Ted Dibiase is out of the hospital and he is upping the ante against George South! He has put $50,000 on the table if George South can beat him cleanly in the middle of the ring. Notice that Bobo Brazil will be out of town this weekend and that Dibiase seems willingly to take full advantage of that little note. Dibiase had better be careful though because when Bobo gets back into town he will already be in a bad mood after his loss to Buff Bagwell in Dalton.
- Ilio Dipaolo will be fighting for the honor of his friends The Destroyer & Red Bastien against Nikolai Volkoff. Breznikov and his boys have been getting cocky the last couple of weeks considering their success over Bastien & The Destroyer. Dipaolo is sick of it and sick of the bad words the three men have been speaking about America!
- The Road Warriors will also be in action and likely in a bad mood considering the Tag Team Title situation! The Sandman will face "Playboy" Buddy Rose and one more exciting bout!
Things are heating up in a big way folks! This is one you don't want to miss!
