The show opens with the tune, "Poison" by Alice Cooper playing overhead. VELVET SKY greets the cheering fans as she bursts through the curtain and pumps her fist in the air.

Velvet: Heartland- WHAT IS UP?!?!? I am FIRED UP to be here! It's Saturday- and the ferocious femmes of Heartland Ladies' Wrestling are here in the Queen City to light up the night. We have lots of great action- and some intense drama- to keep this place rocking all night long. Tonight's Main Event will be out of control- it's a non-title match as NICOLE MATTHEWS faces down IVELISSE. It was just 10 days ago when these two were across the ring from each other in a tag team bout- and Ivelisse dominated Nicole en route to victory. If Ivelisse can win tonight- she will earn a shot at the Heartland Ladies' Championship! And that match- and all of tonight's feature contests- will be streamed live on the Epic Sports Broadcasting Network. Let's take care of business!

HEARTLAND LADIES' TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 CONTENDERS' MATCH
THE PINK LADIES (MADISON EAGLES*** & JESSIE MCKAY**** defeated PARADISE LOST (MELANIE CRUISE* & DUST***) when Madison pinned Dust with Hellbound

The #1 Contenders' Match had a wild incident when BRITTANY BLAKE & SAMANTHA HEIGHTS came to ringside and confronted Dust! But Dust was ready, and she pulled out a bottle from under the ring and started swinging, forcing the Sweethearts to scatter. The match itself was competitive, and it was Eagles who came through with her big finisher for the win and the title shot.

Velvet: Wow! Congratulations to THE PINK LADIES for the win. They have earned themselves a shot at MERCEDES MARTINEZ & NICOLE SAVOY for the Heartland Ladies' Tag Team Championship. But how about DUST? She has been feuding with BRITTANY BLAKE after Brittany hit Dust with a bottle last month in Indianapolis. But in this situation, Dust was ready for both of the Sweethearts and saved herself a beating. And later tonight- it will be Dust and Brittany squaring off- and we're going to make it a Weapons Match!


JESSICKA HAVOC defeated ALLISON DANGER**** by countout after Jessicka slammed Allison headfirst onto the ring apron


MOUNT TESSA (TESSA BLANCHARD & VANESSA KRAVEN) defeated THE PUNK ROCK PUSSY CATS (JODY THREAT & ALLIE KAT*) when Vanessa pinned Allie with a Sitout Powerbomb

Velvet: That was a huge mistake by Allie Kat. She tried to go to the top rope, and that's not her jam. Vanessa almost broke her in half when she threw Allie off the turnbuckle. That match was over ever before Vanessa hit her Sitout Powerbomb. All right, fans- now we head to tonight's feature matches- so let's fire up the Epic Sports Broadcasting Network!

JACQUELINE pinned CANDICE LERAE**** after a Spinning Heel Kick

Velvet: Welcome to Heartland Ladies' Wrestling, JACQUELINE! She looked great in her debut match! Fans- are you ready for more incredible action? This next match is a Number One Contender's Match- but these are two of the craziest chicks you will ever see!


HEARTLAND LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 CONTENDERS' MATCH
HOLIDEAD** & LUFISTO***** battled to a Double Countout

The number one contender's match was out of control! Lufisto and Holidead wailed away on each other inside the ring and out. Holidead smacked Lufisto in the gut with a wrench, and when Lufisto took off her boot to retaliate, Holidead snatched the boot and cracked Lufisto across the skull, busting her open. Despite the gash, Lufisto battled back, slamming Holidead into the corner with a cannonball, then opening up on Holidead with a flurry of slaps and chops that knocked the taste out of her mouth. Holidead rolled out of the ring to escape, and Lufisto pursued Holidead. Lufisto body slammed Holidead onto the arena floor. Holidead got up fighting, and the action spilled into the crowd! Neither Holidead nor Lufisto was going to back down, and the action on the arena floor continued until both women were counted out.

Velvet: That was crazy! Holidead and Lufisto are still fighting- and we still don't have a number one contender. And that wasn't even a grudge match! Things are only going to get more intense in our next match- the first-ever Weapons Match in Heartland Ladies' Wrestling history!


WEAPONS MATCH- NO DISQUALIFICATION:
DUST* pinned BRITTANY BLAKE** after Double Knees to the Back

The fur was flying in this match, despite a total combined weight of the competitors of less than 200 points. Dust tried to choke out Brittany with a TV cable at ringside, but Brittany whacked Dust with a steel chair to prevent that. Dust recovered, and dropkicked Brittany over the steel security railing! As Brittany tried to recover, Dust came up with a baseball bat and whacked Brittany in the tummy. Brittany took the blow solidly in the abdomen and dropped to the arena floor, gasping. Dust shoved Brittany back into the ring and came off the ropes with a double knee drive to the back. Brittany was incapacitated, and unable to kick out as Dust completed the pin.

Velvet: What a brutal match! Dust has had about enough of the antics of Brittany and Samantha- and tonight, she took care of business. Now, everybody- it's time for a huge Main Event. That little scamp IVELISSE has been chasing down a title match- and with the help of her friend JENNACIDE, they defeated NICOLE MATTHEWS & PORTIA PEREZ last week in Columbus. After that, TEDDY LONG has granted Ivelisse this match against Nicole- and if Ivelisse can win, she gets her match.


NON-TITLE MATCH- NO DISQUALIFICATION:
IVELISSE* pinned Heartland Ladies' Champion NICOLE MATTHEWS** after a Flaming Arrow

Fireworks began before the opening bell, when PORTIA PEREZ shoved Ivelisse into the steel post at ringside! Ivelisse was busted open, and Nicole launched into an attack. But Ivelisse survived the onslaught, and JENNACIDE had her revenge. Jennacide came upon Nicole from behind on the arena floor, and Jennacide clobbered Nicole with a clothesline across the back of the head! Jennacide rolled Nicole back into the ring, and Ivelisse dumped Nicole with a slingshot DDT for the pin!


Velvet: Oh - my - gawd! Another dark day in Heartland Ladies' Wrestling. Thanks to the interference of Jennacide, Ivelisse wins the match and she gets another title shot. This is nuts! Another screwed up ending- but let's leave it in the hands of Commissioner Teddy to make things right. So- as it stands- we will see NICOLE MATTHEWS vs. IVELISSE for the Heartland Ladies' Championship- and that match will go down on September 16 at Heartland Havoc CXVII: You Better You Bet in Pittsburgh. EpicDave: Hey, fans! Welcome to Heartland Championship Wrestling! It's great to be here in Buffalo to watch the superstars of Patriot Championship Wrestling in action with a big night of action. The most popular man in all of the Heartland, SGT. SLAUGHTER, is here tonight to defend the North American Heavyweight Championship against the devious EDDIE GILBERT. Plus, we'll see a Number One Contender's Match for the Patriot Heavyweight Championship when HARLEY RACE takes on KURT ANGLE. We're gonna blow up Buffalo here tonight, fans- so relax, grab yourself a cold one, and enjoy the show!


STAN STASIAK pinned BILLY WICKS* with the Heart Punch


PEPPER GOMEZ pinned 'SUPERSTAR' BILLY GRAHAM****** with the Mexican Cradle


RICKY 'THE DRAGON' STEAMBOAT*** pinned JOHNNY VALENTINE******* with a Flying Body Press

Steamboat took the fight to Valentine and had all the momentum in his favor. JAMES J. DILLON tried to distract the referee, but this led to a mid-ring collision between Valentine and the referee. Both men were down, so Dillon called upon TULLY BLANCHARD to come to ringside. Steamboat was ready, and pitched Blanchard over the steel security railing. Valentine was still incapacitated, and Steamboat took to the air with a flying bodypress. The referee conveniently regained his senses in time to count the pin.


EpicDave: What a job by RICKY STEAMBOAT! He got the best of Johnny Valentine AND Dillon and Blanchard in the process. A big win for the Dragon- but he would be wise to watch his back from here on out. 'HACKSAW' JIM DUGGAN pinned ANGELO MOSCA** after a cross-body block off the top rope

EpicDave: WHAT?!?!? Hacksaw Jim Duggan coming off the top rope? Are you kidding me? Those guys fought all over the ringside area- and after all that- ol' Hacksaw goes to the air? Will wonders never cease… and now, fans- it's a #1 Contender's Match for the Patriot Heavyweight Championship. KURT ANGLE & HARLEY RACE were prepared to meet a couple of months ago before BUDDY ROGERS crashed the party and snatched the top contender spot in a triple threat match. Now Rogers is the champ, and Angle and Race are squaring off AGAIN for the title shot. Here we go!


PATRIOT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 CONTENDERS' MATCH
KURT ANGLE pinned HARLEY RACE** after a pair of Olympic Slams

EpicDave: Kurt Angle is your winner! After Race and Angle tried to suplex each other to death, Angle comes through with not one- but TWO Olympic Slams! It's going to be ANGLE vs. ROGERS for the Patriot Heavyweight Championship! That match will take place next Saturday night in Pittsburgh at Heartland Havoc CXVII: You Better You Bet! That's gonna be a terrific match as part of a terrific show. And now, fans- it's time for your Main Event of the evening!


MAIN EVENT: NORTH AMERICAN HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
SGT. SLAUGHTER (c) pinned EDDIE GILBERT with the Slaughter Cannon

It was an uphill battle for Gilbert from the opening bell. Slaughter overpowered Gilbert and took control early in the bout. Despite Gilbert's best efforts, Slaughter dominated the match and trapped Gilbert in the Cobra Clutch. KILLER KOWALSKI hit the ring, but Slaughter clotheslined Kowalski over the top rope, then delivered a Slaughter Cannon to Gilbert and covered him for the three count!

SGT. SLAUGHTER RETAINS THE NORTH AMERICAN HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

After the decision, Gilbert and Kowalski had words in the center of the ring! The words erupted into a fistfight, and Kowalski beat down Gilbert. Before Gilbert could recover, Kowalski picked up a steel chair and delivered a brutal shot to Gilbert, leaving Gilbert laying in the ring as the show closed.

EpicDave: Wow! It has definitely been a stormy road for Gilbert and Kowalski- and I am not surprised that it has come down to this. Gilbert is getting assistance from the Heartland Trainers- so you know he is in good hands. And lest we forget- congratulations to SGT. SLAUGHTER for yet another successful defense of the North American Heavyweight Championship in tonight's Main Event! All right, fans- we're done here. Thanks for checking us out tonight! EpicDave: The tag team of Garea and Zbyszko continues on a roll! They have yet to be defeated here in PWMA, and now they have earned a shot against JACK & JERRY BRISCO for the PWMA Tag Titles! All right, fans- next up- tensions are rising between the WHATEVER WE WANT faction led by JIMMY HART, and THE HEENAN FAMILY. This animosity arose during the NWA World Heavyweight Championship match last month in St. Louis. Both factions were at ringside for the battle between TERRY FUNK and RIC FLAIR- and it was Funk who came away with the victory and the title! In the wake of that confrontation, we are now about to witness a No Disqualification Match between members of those two factions.


GRUDGE MATCH- NO DISQUALIFICATION:
BIG JOHN STUDD*** (w/BOBBY HEENAN) pinned STAN HANSEN* (w/JIMMY HART) after a clothesline

Hansen was beating the stuffings out of Studd until Heenan slipped Studd a foreign object. Studd loaded up his arm pad and blasted Hansen for a flash pin!

After the match, Studd was joined in the ring by CURT HENNIG to beat down Hansen! Studd held the left leg of Hansen while Hennig whacked the leg with a steel chair! JACKIE FARGO & BARRY WINDHAM dashed to ringside, forcing Hennig and Studd to scatter.

EpicDave: Oh, my goodness! The Heenan Family has taken the measure of Stan Hansen! Hansen is down- and Jimmy Hart is one angry man. But Hart will need to get his head together- because his Man TERRY FUNK will be defending the NWA World Heavyweight Championship one week from tonight! And the challenger to Funk will be determined right here- right now- in tonight's Main Event.


MAIN EVENT: NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP- #1 CONTENDERS' MATCH
RIC FLAIR** (w/BOBBY 'THE BRAIN' HEENAN) defeated NICK BOCKWINKEL**** by countout after a DDT on the concrete floor

Flair and Bockwinkel locked horns in a very competitive technical bout. Flair employed his usual strategy of working the leg, keeping Bockwinkel on his guard. Bockwinkel successfully countered with a couple of submission attempts of his own but was unable to force Flair to tap. Flair went back to work on the knee, and Bockwinkel rolled out of the ring in hopes of recovering. But Flair continued his attack on the arena floor, dropping Bockwinkel with a piledriver on the concrete! Bockwinkel was unable to recover, and the decision was awarded to Flair via countout.


EpicDave: And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why RIC FLAIR is the dirtiest player in the game- and why he is once again the Number One Contender to the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. Even in the midst of a technical classic match against a man he respects, Flair can strike out of nowhere with whatever dirty tactics it takes to gain the victory. Congratulations to the Nature Boy! He will move on to Pittsburgh, one week from tonight, to challenge TERRY FUNK for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship at Heartland Havoc CXVII: You Better You Bet. And given what we have seen between their respective factions- THE HEENAN FAMILY and WHATEVER WE WANT- that match may erupt into a conflagration at any moment. All right, fans- we're done here! These two clowns are still locked up in an intense feud with JACK & JERRY BRISCO, despite the fact that Sullivan and Cactus are no longer in contention for the world tag team championship. And as we saw here tonight, Cactus Jack is perfectly willing to sacrifice his body to inflict damage on an opponent. With that attitude and the diabolical genius of Sullivan, these guys are a threat to anybody that crosses their path.


ATLANTIC HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 CONTENDERS' MATCH
'ROWDY' RODDY PIPER* knocked out ADRIAN ADONIS*** with the Sleeper Hold

EpicDave: What a battle! These guys have a serious history- and tonight they had a lot more at stake with the title shot on the line. And on this night, Piper was the better man and he has earned the opportunity to challenge NICK ALDIS for the Atlantic Heavyweight Championship! And now, fans- it's time for the Main Event!


MAIN EVENT: DIXIE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
GEORGE TRAGOS* defeated CURT HENNIG** (w/BOBBY 'THE BRAIN' HEENAN) by submission with the Armlock & Scissors

It was a tightly contested battle between Hennig and Tragos. Hennig held the advantage for the opening segments, nailing Tragos with a couple of devastating dropkicks. Things turned in favor of the champion when the match went to the mat, and Tragos was able to work his technical game. When Tragos hooked on his finisher, Hennig was clearly in trouble. BOBBY HEENAN climbed onto the ring apron to attempt a distraction, but out of nowhere, SHANE DOUGLAS appeared at ringside and pulled Heenan off the apron! Heenan crashed face-first against the side of the ring, and fell motionless to the floor. Hennig was left without backup and forced to tap out!

GEORGE TRAGOS RETAINS THE DIXIE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

EpicDave: How about that? Congratulations to GEORGE TRAGOS for a successful defense of his Dixie Heavyweight Championship. He definitely earned the victory with his performance in the ring tonight. But BOBBY HEENAN was certainly caught off guard by the unexpected arrival of SHANE DOUGLAS! Douglas doesn't even work here- but clearly JIMMY HART wanted to send a message after Heenan got the best of him last weekend in New Orleans. Tensions are mounting as we get ready for a huge pay-per-view! All right, fans- we're done here. Thanks for checking us out tonight!
