The show opens with the tune, "Poison" by Alice Cooper playing overhead. VELVET SKY bursts through the curtain and greets the cheering fans. Velvet is decked out in an Indiana Pacers jersey, jeans and sneakers, drawing even more enthusiasm from the crowd as she high-fives her way down the ramp and slides into the ring.

Velvet: Heartland- WHAT IS UP?!?!? I am FIRED UP to be here! Some people call this place "Naptown", but it's gonna be a sleepless night for everybody after the adrenaline rush you'll get from the ferocious felines of Heartland Ladies' Wrestling. HOLIDEAD is here tonight to defend the Mistress of Mayhem Championship against JORDYNNE GRACE- and what a slugfest that is gonna be! So- let's take care of business!


MISS FRANKIE JAY pinned SHIRLEY BLACK*** with a Swinging Neckbreaker


KENZIE PAIGE* & ELLA ENVY defeated KELLIE SKATER** & EVIE* when Kenzie pinned Kellie after a Backstabber


IVELISSE* pinned TAYLOR WILDE**** with the Desert Eagle

Velvet: Dang it! That was a really good match until JOANIE LAURER stuck her nose in- AGAIN.


DEBBIE MALENKO submitted MASHA SLAMOVICH**** with the STF


CORA*** & DEBBIE COMBS defeated LUNA* & VIVIAN VACHON by Disqualification when Luna was disqualified for attacking Debbie on the arena floor

It was a crazy battle from start to finish! Before the match even began, Luna started harassing ring announcer BOBBY CRUISE. Debbie intervened, and the crowd cheered as Debbie confronted Luna and the fists began to fly. The referee did his best to try and bring the match into the ring, but the brawling continued and Luna was ultimately disqualified.

After the decision, Luna and Vivian Vachon seemed to have a disagreement over the tactics in the match. Luna scowled and snarled, and Vivian turned and walked away.

Velvet: How about that? DEBBIE COMBS really stepped up her game tonight- and the fans loved it. We need to put Debbie and Luna together to see who comes out on top.


HEARTLAND LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 CONTENDERS' MATCH
DEONNA PURRAZZO* defeated SARA DEL REY****** by submission with the Fijuwara Armbar

Velvet: Wow! Deonna was RELENTLESS with that armbar. She hooked that sucker on so many different ways that Sara just couldn't keep up. That armbar would make CHRIS JERICHO proud! We'll see if Deonna can have that same success when she goes for the Ladies' Title next month.


MAIN EVENT: MISTRESS OF MAYHEM CHAMPIONSHIP
JORDYNNE GRACE* pinned HOLIDEAD* (c) with the Pounce

It was a short match, but action-packed from start to finish. Jordynne refused to back down from the intimidating antics of Holidead, and this brought the confrontation to a fever pitch. Jordynne went for broke, but missed with a Suicide Dive and crashed to the floor. Holidead followed with a crushing Bodyslam, But before Holidead could finish off Jordynne, Jordynne took down Holidead with a Gannosuke clutch for a near-fall. Holidead was disoriented for a moment, which is all the time that Jordynne needed to connect with a huge Pounce for a clean pin!

JORDYNNE GRACE CAPTURES THE MISTRESS OF MAYHEM CHAMPIONSHIP

Velvet: Congratulations to JORDYNNE GRACE for an exciting victory! That was EXPLOSIVE- Jordynne hit that pounce out of nowhere and pinned Holidead faster than THUNDER ROSA could interfere. That was an incredible win in our Main Event- and we have a new Mistress of Mayhem Champion! That's it for tonight, Heartland- thanks for another awesome night of wrestling here in Indianapolis! Heartland will be back on the mats this Saturday night when Pro Wrestling Mid-America invades New Orleans. STAN HANSEN & OLE ANDERSON have been causing all kinds of trouble in PWMA- and on Saturday night they will have a Number One Contender's Match for the PWMA Tag Team Championship against those crazy NEW AGE OUTLAWS. On behalf of Heartland Championship Wrestling, we are so proud to be here in New Orleans for an exciting night of action, brought to you by Pro Wrestling Mid-America. In the aftermath of what we saw earlier this month in St. Louis, our Main Event will be a Tag Team No-Disqualification Match, pitting the unlikely team of NIKITA KOLOFF & SHAWN MICHAELS against members of WHATEVER WE WANT, TERRY FUNK & JACKIE FARGO. Plus, TIM STORM is here tonight to defend the Southland Heavyweight Championship against the charismatic TOMMY 'WILDFIRE' RICH. And tonight's feature matches will be streamed live on the Epic Sports Broadcasting Network! We're gonna party down tonight, fans- so relax, grab yourself a cold one, and enjoy the show!


BOBBY SHANE*** defeated PAMPERO FIRPO by Disqualification after Firpo put Boby through a table in the ring

Pampero Firpo made quite an impression in his Heartland debut. Firpo beat the pulp out of Bobby, but in a flurry of enthusaism, Firpo brought a table into the ring and slamed Bobby through it to earn himself a DQ. Shane remained down for several moments before returning to the locker room under his own power.


BRAD ARMSTRONG* & MAGNUM TA defeated RON BASS** & BLACK BART when Magunum pinned Bass with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex

PWMA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 CONTENDERS' MATCH
THE NEW AGE OUTLAWS (ROAD DOGG & BILLY GUNN**) defeated OLE ANDERSON*** & STAN HANSEN (w/JIMMY HART) when Billy pinned Anderson after a Powerslam

EpicDave: That was a great battle- and an EXPLOSIVE win for the Outlaws! Road Dogg and Billy had their backs against the wall- but their alert double-teaming tactics opened the path to victory. The Outlaws have earned a shot at the PWMA Tag Team Championship!


SOUTHLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP:
TIM STORM* (c) pinned TOMMY 'WILDFIRE' RICH*** with The Perfect Storm

It was the Storm vs. the Wildfire for the Southland Title, and the match-up did not disappoint. Storm tried to keep the match on the mat, but when Rich wanted to throw hands, the champion more than held his own. After a very competitive bout with multiple reversals and a lot of back-and-forth action, Storm was able to gain the advantage and deliver his finisher for the pin.

TIM STORM RETAINS THE SOUTHLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

EpicDave: Congratulations to TIM STORM for retaining the title after a terrific battle. And now, fans- we bring you to the Main Event of the evening. As you may recall, SHAWN MICHAELS got in trouble with the faction of WHATEVER WE WANT back at the Buckeye Bowl when he accidentally knocked JACKIE FARGO out of the match with a megaphone. Michaels has been running for his life, without any backup, until earlier this month in St. Louis when the 3W guys were preparing to beat him down. But out of nowhere, NIKITA KOLOFF and his mates from JUSTICE 4 ALL came to his rescue! Michaels is still not a popular figure, and most assuredly NOT a member of J4A- but Nikita has agreed to team with Michaels here tonight in this No-Disqualification Tag Team Grudge Match.


MAIN EVENT: NO-DISQUALIFICATION GRUDGE MATCH
TERRY FUNK** & JACKIE FARGO**** defeated SHAWN MICHAELS** & NIKITA KOLOFF** when Funk KO'ed Nikita with the Sleeper Hold

There was intensity in the air on both sides of the ring. Fargo was anxious to get his hands on Michaels, and the chemistry between Michaels and Nikita was uncertain as the bell rang. As the battle raged, Nikita was battling hard against both men. Michaels tagged in and out, seemingly at his own convenience, preferring to enter the ring when the odds were in his favor. When Nikita nailed Fargo with a Russian Sickle, Jimmy Hart got desperate and threw his megaphone into the ring. But once again, the plan failed, and Nikita grabbed the megaphone and bashed Fargo.

EpicDave: When will they ever learn?

With Fargo down, Michaels tagged himself back into the match and clamped Fargo into the Figure-Four, but Funk made the save. Funk tagged in and delivered a beating to Michaels, who finally made the desperation tag to Nikita. Funk and Nikita battled all over New Orleans until Funk DDT'ed Nikita to the concrete floor. Nikita was bloodied, but battled back and crushed Funk with a Russian Sickle. Again, Michaels tagged himself back into the match, only to be plastered by Funk with a massive series of chops. Fargo tagged back in, and Michaels caught Fargo with the Superkick!

EpicDave: Down goes Fargo! It could be over now!

Before Michaels could make the pin, OLE ANDERSON arrived at ringside and pulled Michaels out of the ring! Ole, Fargo and Funk launched an assault on Michaels and Nikita as Jimmy Hart cheered them on. Michaels was taken down by Anderson, leaving Nikita trapped in a double-team from Fargo and Funk. Funk locked Nikita into a Sleeper Hold, and it was lights out for Nikita.

EpicDave: Oh no… Nikita has been put to sleep- and the match is over! Funk and Fargo are your winners.

After the bell, Michaels was able to pull Nikita to safety as KEVIN STEEN arrived at ringside. The 3W team stood tall in the ring, laughing and taunting Michaels and Nikita.

EpicDave: What just happened? There is an argument taking place between the members of JUSTICE 4 ALL! Steen and Nikita are shouting at each other- and from what I can gather, BRET HART was supposed to be the back-up for Nikita- but Hart refused to come to ringside to protect Shawn Michaels!

The dissention continued between Michaels, Nikita, and Steen as they stormed back to the locker room in defeat.

EpicDave: Wow- bad news for the team of Justice 4 All. Bret Hart was one of the founding members of that alliance- but tonight, he refused to have the backs of his teammates and there are some serious issues that appear to be developing. It's a good thing that Steen was on hand to prevent that situation from escalating- but it was still a bitter defeat for Nikita tonight. All right, fans- we're done here. Thanks for checking us out tonight! Heartland will be back on Wednesday night with action from Patriot Championship Wrestling. RICKY 'THE DRAGON' STEAMBOAT will be headlining the show from Montreal when he takes on 'RAVISHING' RICK RUDE in a Number One Contender's Match for the Patriot Heavyweight Championship. EpicDave: Hey, fans! Welcome to Heartland Championship Wrestling! Springtime is nearly upon us- even in Canada- but the action in Patriot Championship Wrestling is hot all year round! And tonight, we have a terrific show lined up for all of the great fans in the Great White North, and all y'all back in the states as well. RICKY 'THE DRAGON' STEAMBOAT is set to face off against 'RAVISHING' RICK RUDE tonight in a Number One Contender's Match for the Patriot Heavyweight Championship! And, we'll see a No Disqualification Grudge Match pitting CHRIS SABIN against RON SIMMONS. There's no better way to welcome the return of the sunshine than to enjoy a night of wrestling, fans- so relax, grab yourself a cold one, and enjoy the show!

EpicDave: Well… that was interesting. THE GREAT MALENKO seems to have joined forces with the dangerous GARY HART. But that didn't stop KURT ANGLE from dominating tonight's match and coming out the victor.


'ROWDY' RODDY PIPER defeated ANGELO MOSCA**** by submission with the Sleeper Hold

EpicDave: A good job by the referee in that match! STAN STASIAK tried to stick his nose in and help Mosca, but the referee was having none of it.


ARN ANDERSON** & TULLY BLANCHARD defeated THE FANTASTICS (TOMMY ROGERS & BOBBY FULTON**) when Tully pinned Fulton with a Rollup

EpicDave: So yeah… the highlight says "Rollup", but the truth is "handful of tights". Either way, the decision of the referee is final, and this goes down as a "W" in the record book. That Tully Blanchard is one sneaky dude.


GRUDGE MATCH- NO DISQUALIFICATION:
CHRIS SABIN***** pinned RON SIMMONS* with the Cradle Shock

The majority of this match was Simmons giving a beatdown to Sabin. But the tide turned on the arena floor, where Sabin ducked a clothesline from Simmons and sent Simmons through the announcers' table with a backdrop. Before Simmons could regain his bearings, Sabin dropped him with a Cradle Shock and picked up the three count!

After the decision, Sabin rolled out of the ring quickly to celebrate with ALEX SHELLEY. The Machine Guns left the ring in celebration without further escalation of violence.

EpicDave: What a surprise victory by Sabin! He took some serious damage, but Sabin survived and was able to steal a victory! The mood has not improved for DOOM.


MAIN EVENT: PATRIOT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP- #1 CONTENDER'S MATCH
'RAVISHING' RICK RUDE*** defeated RICKY 'THE DRAGON' STEAMBOAT*** by submission with the Sleeper Hold

It was a high-stakes battle between these long-time rivals, and the action did not disappoint. Action went back-and-forth between Rude and Steamboat, but it was the power of Rude that proved to be the deciding factor. Rude was able to absorb the high-speed attacks from Steamboat. Rude then wore down Steamboat with suplexes and neckbreakers before finishing him off with a Sleeper.


EpicDave: Congratulations to the Ravishing One! RICK RUDE has earned a shot at the Patriot Heavyweight Champion- whoever that may be after the upcoming showdown between BUDDY ROGERS and HARLEY RACE. We'll see if Rude can take advantage of his opportunity when those two men finish their protracted war. All right, fans- we're done here. Thanks for checking us out tonight! The show opens with the tune, "Wings of Destiny" by Gamma Ray playing over the stadium sound system. EPICDAVE stands in the ring, accompanied by VELVET SKY, GORDON SOLIE, LANCE RUSSELL, & BILL APTER. The stands are packed, and the crowd is cheering its approval as the Heartland bosses wave to the fans.

EpicDave: Hello, fans- and welcome to Dawn of Destiny 2024! It is springtime, and Dawn of Destiny is our annual tradition where all the territories of Heartland Championship Wrestling come together to present our finest championship matches and to celebrate the Opening Day of the Baseball season!

Velvet: Heartland- WHAT IS UP! I am AMPED to be here! The weather is heating up, and the action in the Heartland is FIRE, baby! We have SIX title matches tonight and I am excited for each and every one of them.

EpicDave: It's gonna be a sensational show from start to finish- and the Epic Sports Broadcasting Network is on hand to live stream all the action!

EpicDave: And fans- the days of the "Pay-Per-View" are over. Welcome to our first-ever Heartland Youtube Production Event!

Velvet: It's all about the HYPE, Baby!

Solie: A stroke of genius, indeed. And on behalf of the Atlantic Wrestling Federation, there is no question that we are honored to open tonight's broadcast with a match for the Atlantic Heavyweight Championship. Two of the most popular men in the AWF will be facing off for the title.

EpicDave: DUSTY RHODES and BOBO BRAZIL! We've already got a mixture of cheers for both men echoing around the stadium. What a great way to kick off the night- so relax, grab yourself a cold one, and enjoy the show!


Atlantic Heavyweight Championship
DUSTY RHODES (c) vs. BOBO BRAZIL

The power of Bobo was the dominant factor in the battle of the big men. The battle went back and forth until Bobo plastered Dusty with a head butt, stunning the champion. Bobo quickly locked on a Bear Hug, and Dusty was too stunned to fight his way out.

WINNER: BOBO BRAZIL

BOBO BRAZIL CAPTURES THE ATLANTIC HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

Solie: Congratulations to your new Atlantic Heavyweight Champion! BOBO BRAZIL is all man and a yard wide, and tonight here in Cincinnati he has proven his mettle and captured the gold.

EpicDave: You are correct, sir- and the fans here appreciate that. A fine display of sportsmanship from DUSTY RHODES in acknowledging Brazil as tonight's winner- but these two will meet again!

Velvet: Now it's time for the ladies to take center stage! My girls ANGELINA LOVE & MANDY LEON just won the Heartland Ladies' Tag Team Championship- and tonight they face a tough test in this rematch against the former champions.


Heartland Ladies' Tag Team Championship
THE ALLURE (ANGELINA LOVE & MANDY LEON) (c) vs. NICOLE SAVOY & MERCEDES MARTINEZ

The new champions were on point in their first defense. Nicole and Mercedes showed their skills and connected on some big moves, but Mandy and Angelina tagged frequently and prevented the challengers from taking control. Mercedes was able to punish Mandy with a barrage of brutal chops, but Angelina tagged herself in to give Mandy time to recover. Mandy returned to the ring and dumped both challengers with the Astral Projection, then covered Mercedes for the pin.

WINNERS: THE ALLURE

THE ALLURE RETAINS THE HEARTLAND LADIES' TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

Velvet: That's my girls! Way to go Mandy and Ang! I know I am supposed to be impartial and all, but Angelina is my BFF and it is AWESOME to see them with the titles.

Solie: No question, that was an exciting match. These young ladies are able to go with the best of them. But Miss Velvet- I must ask- there are rumors and calls from the fans for you to return to the ring! Is this a possibility for the foreseeable future?

Velvet: I think about it occasionally- but after I saw Mercedes throwing those brutal chops, I am definitely having second thoughts.

EpicDave: And your misgivings are only going to get worse. What we are about to see now will not be for the faint of heart!

As the participants were being introduced, 'ROWDY' RODDY PIPER came to the ring ramp accompanied by BIG VAN VADER, MARK HENRY, & PERCY PRINGLE III. Percy took the microphone and laid down a funky beatbox rhythm. Piper began playing his bagpipes, and Henry fired up the accordion. Vader took out his own microphone and belted out the tune, "We Built This City", which resonated throughout the ballpark.

Apter: Sensational! Roddy Piper's band, "Bagpipes and Bodyslams" has added a new member! I guess now we'll need to call them "Bagpipes, Bodyslams, and Beatboxing!"

Velvet: Ummm… yeah. I don't think BRUCE DICKINSON is going to be showing up with a record contract any time soon.

EpicDave: Certainly not. I think the Geneva Convention might consider this to be cruel and unusual punishment.

Apter: Lighten up, guys. That was an instant classic! But BIG JOHN STUDD is not amused- and now the mood is about to change.


Weapons Match
'ROWDY' RODDY PIPER vs. BIG JOHN STUDD

As anticipated, the Weapons match between Piper and Studd was an absolute bloodbath. Piper quickly came at Studd with a baseball bat, and did plenty of damage. Studd was backpedaling, but BOBBY HEENAN handed Studd a beer bottle and Studd cracked it over Piper's head.

Velvet: Oh, that was nasty! Roddy is busted open!

Piper was bloodied, but continued his onslaught, grabbing a trash can and bashing Studd over the head. Studd survived the blow, and snagged Piper in a powerful bear hug on the infield grass. It looked like Piper was about to pass out, but Roddy reached over to the announcers' table, grabbed the timekeeper's hammer, and nailed Studd squarely in the head. Studd was knocked out by the blow, and Piper was the winner!

WINNER: 'ROWDY' RODDY PIPER

Apter: Wow! Piper caught him right between the eyes!

EpicDave: Studd was out before he hit the floor. Congratulations to Piper for a big win here tonight at Dawn of Destiny 2024. But I predict that the Destiny of those warring factions is far from being determined. Next up, fans- we have a very intriguing match with a long and intense history for the Pro Wrestling Mid-America Heavyweight Championshp. Lance Russell- thank you for being here! Perhaps you can provide your perspective on this upcoming battle.

Russell: Thank you, EpicDave. BARRY WINDHAM and KEVIN STEEN are set to battle tonight for the championship- but this match will bring to the forefront the ongoing war between their factions. Windham and his pals from WHATEVER WE WANT have been at odds with the guys from JUSTICE 4 ALL. Kevin Steen has been at the center of that rivalry- he started off as a member of 3W before they sent him packing. But lately, there has been some tension within J4A since their leader, NIKITA KOLOFF, came to the defense of SHAWN MICHAELS and saved Michaels from a 3W beatdown. That decision by Nikita didn't sit well with BRET HART- and as a result, we don't know what lies in store for J4A tonight if things go south.

EpicDave: Thank you for that report, Mr. Russell. Now, let's head to the ring for the PWMA Heavyweight Championship match!

BARRY WINDHAM (c) vs. KEVIN STEEN

It was a hard-hitting battle between Windham and Steen. The action was stiff, and the match tipped in Windham's favor after a distraction from JIMMY HART. This brought NIKITA KOLOFF to ringside to watch Steen's back, causing Jimmy to improve his behavior dramatically. Steen took control after power-bombing Windham onto the ring apron, and it appeared a new champion may be crowned. Steen drilled Windham with an F-Cinq and went for the cover, but STAN HANSEN sprinted to ringside and pulled the referee out of the ring! When Hansen shoved the referee to the floor, the referee called for the bell and awarded the match to Steen by disqualification.

WINNER (by disqualification): KEVIN STEEN

BARRY WINDHAM RETAINS THE PRO WRESTLING MID-AMERICA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

After the decision, a fracas erupted at ringside! Members of both factions took to brawling. Steen slugged it out with Hansen. When JACKIE FARGO came to ringside, SHAWN MICHAELS dashed to the scene! Fargo and Michaels battled fiercely, along with JERRY LYNN, BRET HART, OLE ANDERSON, and SHANE DOUGLAS. Most of the skirmishes were quickly broken apart by referees, but Michaels and Fargo continued their melee. A battalion of jabronies poured out of the locker room, finally forcing Michaels and Fargo to separate.

Russell: I am not surprised that this situation blew up. This has been a long time coming. I tell you what, KEVIN STEEN was overpowering tonight- and I am going to grant him a rematch for the title. We're gonna put that match in a Steel Cage to keep the riffraff away. We're also gonna put Michaels and Fargo into a match- they're the ones who started this whole mess to begin with.

EpicDave: From the JUSTICE 4 ALL perspective- it was good to see BRET HART out here fighting with his comrades. And now, we turn it over to BILL APTER to introduce the next match.


Apter: Thank you, EpicDave! Patriot Championship Wrestling is pleased to present a Two-out-of-Three Falls matchup for the Patriot Heavyweight Championship. The rivalry between HARLEY RACE and BUDDY ROGERS has been ongoing for many months. Both men have battled their way to the top tier of PCW competition, they have both held this championship, and tonight they battle to decide the rightful owner of the title, once and for all. May the best man win!


Patriot Heavyweight Championship: Two Out of Three Falls
BUDDY ROGERS (c) vs. HARLEY RACE

First Fall: As anticipated, the battle started at a deliberate pace and gradually gained intensity. Rogers saw an opening and put his quickness to work, pelting Race with a series of dropkicks. Harley was stunned, and Rogers went to the top turnbuckle to deliver a flying clothesline onto Race and cover him for the three count!

Second Fall: Race was in trouble. He was favoring his injured knee and Rogers looked to capitalize. But Race caught Rogers with a hard forearm to the side of the head, slowing Rogers' momentum. Harley followed with a methodical power attack, delivering several bone-jarring suplexes followed by a diving head butt. Race had Rogers right where he wanted him, and sent Buddy crashing to the mat with a Piledriver for the pin.

Apter: One fall apiece. How fitting that this rivalry will come down to the third and deciding fall!

Third Fall: Both men were at the height of exhaustion, but the battled raged on. The climactic moment came with a double clothesline off the ropes. The collision left both men laying. The referee started the ten count, but it was Rogers who finally made it off the mat and locked on the Figure-Four Grapevine once again. Race had nothing left, and after a brief struggle, race was forced to give it up.

WINNER: BUDDY ROGERS

BUDDY ROGERS RETAINS THE PATRIOT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

Apter: What an amazing conclusion! BUDDY ROGERS has finally prevailed and taken possession of the Patriot Heavyweight Championship. A well-deserved victory and the end of a historic rivalry.

EpicDave: Congratulations to Rogers- and to both men, in fact. That was definitely a potential Match of the Year! Fans- I am not sure we can top that- but we still have TWO world championship matches remaining tonight!


NWA World Tag Team Championship
JACK & JERRY BRISCO (c) vs. THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS

It was a battle of legendary tag teams with the World Championship at stake. Both teams tagged in and out effectively, and several minutes went by before any meaningful threats were observed. With Jack Brisco still wrestling injured, Jerry carried the load for the champions. Jerry was able to take over on Eaton with a variety of pinning predicaments, prompting JAMES E. CORNETTE to go berserk. But Cornette's attempt to distract the referee was fruitless, and Jack Brisco tagged in and wrapped Eaton into a Figure-Four Leglock and force Eaton to give it up.

WINNERS: JACK & JERRY BRISCO

JACK & JERRY BRISCO RETAIN THE NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

Solie: No question, that was a magnificent display of tag team wrestling. Both these Brisco brothers are consummate wrestlers and their teamwork is impeccable. Even against such a formidable opponent as the Midnight Express, the Briscoes were indeed never really in danger of losing the titles here tonight.

EpicDave: You got that right. Props to Jack and Jerry Brisco! Who will step up next to challenge for the titles? Only time will tell. But now, fans- it's time for the Main Event! It's the NWA World Heavyweight Championship- and RIC FLAIR is here at the ballpark to defend his title against the winner of the 2024 Buckeye Bowl, MARK HENRY.


Main Event: NWA World Heavyweight Championship
'NATURE BOY' RIC FLAIR (c) vs. MARK HENRY

Flair was at the top of his game in the Main Event. The Nature Boy avoided the power of Henry and picked away at the big man, punishing his knees with chop blocks to force Henry to the mat. Flair tried to pin Henry using the ropes, but Henry kicked out. Flair kept the pressure on, working the legs of Henry and repeatedly attempting to gain extra leverage with the ropes. Despite Henry's mounting frustration, Flair stayed in control of the action and submitted Henry with the Figure-Four.

WINNER: RIC FLAIR

RIC FLAIR RETAINS THE NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
