Two weeks ago, we witnessed an upset of legendary proportions when RICK RUDE toppled BUDDY ROGERS to capture the Patriot Heavyweight Championship. Tonight, Rogers is exercising his rematch clause in our Main Event. Plus, the Patriot Tag Team Championship will be on the line when THE BRITISH BULLDOGS defend the belts against JAY & MARK BRISCOE. BRUISER BRODY & JIMMY SNUKA defeated THE FANTASTICS (TOMMY ROGERS** & BOBBY FULTON) when Brody pinned Rogers with a Jumping Knee Smash

EpicDave: All right, fans- the time has come for MARK HENRY to attempt to right an unspeakable wrong. Just a couple of weeks ago, Mark's had an verbal war with GARY HART, and Hart had the audacity to insult the accordion skills of Henry! Henry was incensed, and immediately demanded a No Disqualification match against Hart's man, THE GREAT MALENKO.


GRUDGE MATCH- NO DISQUALIFICATION:
THE GREAT MALENKO***** (w/GARY HART) pinned MARK HENRY***** (w/PERCY PRINGLE III) after a Body Slam

Emotions ran high in this bitter grudge match, which was not surprising given the profound nature of the insults offered by Gary Hart. Henry and Malenko went back and forth, in a match mixing power moves and outright brawling. Henry hit some impressive power moves, and a one point, stood on the chest of Malenko, called for his accordion, and played a rousing course of "Iron Man" as the audience covered its ears and howled.

EpicDave: Oh, the humanity!

In the wake of this auditory trauma, Malenko was able to rally. After a vicious eye rake, Malenko summoned his strength and planted Henry with a pair of Body Slams to score the pinfall.

After the match, Hart attempted to steal Henry's accordion, but timely intervention from PERCY PRINGLE III prevented Hart from purloining the instrument, which was returned to its rightful owner.

EpicDave: Thank goodness… I suppose… that Henry's accordion didn't end up in the wrong hands. The band will go on to play another day!


PATRIOT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP:
THE BRISCOE BROTHERS (MARK & JAY*) defeated THE BRITISH BULLDOGS (DAVEY BOY SMITH & DYNAMITE KID*******) (c) when Mark pinned Dynamite with the Cut-Throat Driver

Jay and Mark were on top of their game tonight! The match started as a very competitive, back and forth exchange, which turned sour for the champions when Dynamite and Davey Boy collided while attempting a double-team. Mark dumped Davey Boy out of the ring, opening the door for Jay to take over on Dynamite with a pair of Jay Drillers. Dynamite showed resilience to kick out, but Mark hit the ring and planted Dynamite with a Cut-Throat Driver to finally pick up the three-count.

THE BRISCOE BROTHERS WIN THE PATRIOT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

EpicDave: Congratulations to JAY & MARK BRISCOE, your new Patriot Tag Team Champions! Dem Boys held all sorts of titles back in the King of the Indies days- but this is their first taste of gold in the NWA and they definitely earned it here tonight. The Briscoes climbed the ladder of some of the finest teams in wrestling history, and tonight they took down one of the best. There will be joy in the home of the Briscoe Clan tonight!


MAIN EVENT: PATRIOT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
'RAVISHING' RICK RUDE (c) pinned BUDDY ROGERS**** after a Top Rope Sledgehammer

After pulling off a major upset in winning the Patriot Title two weeks ago, Rude was confident that he could defend the belt tonight in New York City- and for good reason. Once again, a sneak attack by Rogers failed at the opening bell, and Rude quickly took over. Rude caught Rogers in the Sleeper Hold on multiple occasions, keeping the former champion from executing his cerebral strategies. With Rogers weakened, Rude poured on the power, planting Rogers with a several high suplexes- including a suplex on the arena floor which took the starch out of Rogers. The challenger was completely out of sorts when Rude went to the top rope and caught Rogers with a flying sledgehammer for the win.

RICK RUDE RETAINS THE PATRIOT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

EpicDave: Wow! The Ravishing One has done it again! RICK RUDE has retained the title- and he has got the number of one Mr. Rogers. That's two victories in a row for Rude, and there's no way you can count that as a fluke. Rick Rude has established himself as the top dog in Patriot Championship Wrestling! We are proud to be here in Shreveport at the famous Hirsch Memorial Coliseum, birthplace of the legendary catchphrase, "Elvis has left the building". Tonight, the superstars of Pro Wrestling Mid-America have invaded the building- and we are gonna rock this house in a way that would make Elvis himself proud.

EpicDave: I am afraid that I do have some bad news. As a result of injuries suffered during the Steel Cage match at the Twilight Zone pay-per-view, KEVIN STEEN will be out of action for the next few weeks. PWMA is looking for a new #1 Contender to the Heavyweight Championship- and tonight it will be 'DR. DEATH' STEVE WILLIAMS squaring off with the 'MACHO MAN' RANDY SAVAGE to determine who will challenge for the gold. And, in tonight's Main Event, we will see a No Disqualification Grudge Match pitting NIKITA KOLOFF against 'BIG' SCOTT HALL. It's time to rock the Hirsch, fans- so relax, grab yourself a cold one, and enjoy the show!


JACKIE FARGO*** (w/JIMMY HART) pinned DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE*** with an Atomic Drop

Wild times began with the opening contest, as Fargo's blathering got under the skin of DDP. Hostilities escalated, and Fargo attempted a cheap shot before the bell. But DDP alertly blocked Fargo's wild punch, and dropped Fargo with a Diamond Cutter! Jimmy Hart pulled Fargo out of the ring, giving Jackie a moment to recover before the beginning of the match.

EpicDave: What a smart move by Diamond Dallas Page!

Once the match began, the emotions continued to run high, and ultimately Hart was able to distract the referee long enough for Fargo to wallop Page with the Hart's megaphone to set up his finisher and steal the victory.

After the decision, Page left the ring an a fury and stormed backstage.


DANNY HODGE***** & WILBUR SNYDER* defeated NICK BOCKWINKEL***** & RAY STEVENS* when Snyder pinned Bockwinkel with a crucifix


BRET HART* and TED DIBIASE** battled to a No Contest

Hitman and DiBiase went at it in an intense matchup. Hart took control, leading DiBiase to pull the referee into the Hitman's path to create a massive collision. With the referee down, SHAWN MICHAELS came to ringside and blindsided Hart with Sweet Chin Music! DiBiase and Michaels began to beat down the Hitman, but DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE dashed to the ring with a steel chair and cleared the ring! Page helped Hart to his feet and the two men shook hands as DiBiase and Michaels glared daggers and the new allies.

EpicDave: Diamond Dallas Page has saved the day! That's a huge benefit for JUSTICE 4 ALL, given the turmoil that they have been through. J4A was betrayed by Michaels- and now with Kevin Steen out of action, this crew needed some reinforcements. And who better than DDP?


THE VACHON BROTHERS (BUTCHER & MAD DOG) defeated THE LOVE BROTHERS (REGINALD & HARTFORD*) when Butcher pinned Hartford with a Big Boot to the Face


PWMA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP- #1 CONTENDERS' MATCH
'DR. DEATH' STEVE WILLIAMS pinned RANDY 'MACHO MAN' SAVAGE*** with the Oklahoma Stampede

EpicDave: Congratulations to DR. DEATH for a big win here in the Contender's Match. Williams has earned a title shot against BARRY WINDHAM- and that's gonna be a banger!


MAIN EVENT: GRUDGE MATCH- NO DISQUALIFICATION:
'BIG' SCOTT HALL*** pinned NIKITA KOLOFF** after a Body Slam

Nikita was a man on a mission when he faced off with Hall after the attack at Twilight Zone. But Hall was up to the task, and Hall used his height and athletic ability to keep the power of Nikita at bay. Hall taunted Nikita relentlessly, and Hall fled the ring whenever Nikita established any momentum. Nikita's frustration led to a wild charge into the turnbuckle, which Hall deftly dodged, sending Nikita careening into the ring post. Hall was quick to plant Nikita with a body slam and cover him for the pin.

After the pin, Hall pounced at the opportunity to attack the fallen Nikita. Hall hoisted Nikita overhead, and propelled Nikita with a Razor's Edge into the ring post! Nikita slammed into the post directly on his injured shoulder and collapsed to the mat. BRET HART & DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE sprinted back to ringside, but the damage had been done and Hall sauntered away with a huge grin, smirking at the booing crowd as the show drew to a close.


EpicDave: What a catastrophe! Wow… Nikita's shoulder looked totally mangled when he bounced off of that ring post. That is one nasty-looking injury. We need to get the trainers out here ASAP to assist Koloff- and we wish him all the best. It has been a tough row to hoe for the man of JUSTICE 4 ALL. First they lost Steen, and now Nikita goes down- and they are fighting a war on two front against WHATEVER WE WANT and this new band of scoundrels that SHAWN MICHAELS has assembled. It's been an awful night for the good guys here in Shreveport. All right, fans- we're done here. Thanks for checking us out tonight! Heartland will be back on Saturday night with an exciting show from Heartland Ladies' Wrestling. The ladies are headed to Chicago- and there will be TWO title matches going down on the Epic Sports Broadcasting Network. The show opens with the tune, "Poison" by Alice Cooper playing overhead. VELVET SKY bursts through the curtain and heads down the ring ramp, high-fiving the fans along the way. The crowd is electric, clapping and stomping as Velvet climbs into the ring and takes the microphone.

Velvet: Heartland- WHAT IS UP?!?!? I am STOKED to be here! It's Chicago, baby, and there's no place better for the wild world of women's wrestling. And it is DEFINITELY going to get wild here tonight. We have TWO grudge matches and TWO title matches going down. And the Main Event is going to be off the chain when HOLIDEAD takes on KELLY KLEIN in a rematch for the Heartland Ladies' Championship. Holidead won the title two weeks ago at the Twilight Zone HYPE Event, and you KNOW Kelly is itching to get her belt back. That match is going to be incredible- so let's take care of business!

Velvet: Wow! Two warm-up matches and two upsets! Of course, the decision in that first match was controversial- and I think the ref may have missed the call- but it goes in the books as a win for Sumie. And that's a HUGE loss for Nicole trying to get back into the title picture! And now- it's time to fire up the Epic Sports Broadcasting Network for the rest of tonight's matches!

GRUDGE MATCH- NO DISQUALIFICATION:
MSCHIF** pinned ALLYSIN KAY* with the Desecrator

The ongoing war between MSCHIF and the forces of KARLEE PEREZ continued as ALLYSIN KAY took on MsChif. The two ladies battled ferociously, hitting each other with every move imaginable, but neither lady would take a backwards step. After a lengthy struggle, MsChif was finally able to put Allysin down with a series of clubbing forearms and a flying double axe-handle off the top turnbuckle. Before Karlee could react, MsChif dropped Allysin with a Desecrator and covered her for the three count!

After the decision, a frustrated Karlee activated her Mystic Stone and summoned SAGE HALE to enter the ring. Sage caught MsChif in a guillotine choke! MsChif dropped to one knee, but HEIDI HOWITZER jumped into the ring to save MsChif. Heidi attacked Sage, but MARTI BELLE stormed into the ring to save Sage from Heidi's attack.

Velvet: Okay, that was officially weird. That Mystic Stone seems to have a hypnotic power over Sage. Not only that, but it looked like Sage had some superhuman strength! Sage was about to choke out MsChif in a matter of seconds before Heidi came to MsChif's rescue. What a strange situation…


GRUDGE MATCH- NO DISQUALIFICATION:
ROSEMARY pinned IVELISSE*** with the F5

After Rosemary used her Blue Mist on both Ivelisse and JOANIE LAURER at the Twilight Zone HYPE show, Ivelisse was anxious to get revenge. But once again, Rosemary unleashed the Blue Mist on Ivelisse, blinding her! Rosemary went to the top rope to launch a flying attack on Ivelisse, but Joanie pushed Rosemary off the turnbuckle, sending Joanie crashing to the mat. Both ladies were down, but Rosemary was the first to get her wits back and planted Ivelisse with the F5 to claim victory.

Following the pin, Rosemary continued her attack on Ivelisse. JESSICKA HAVOK also hit the ring, and got a few shots in on Ivelisse before Joanie was able to pull Ivelisse out of the ring to safety. Ivelisse stormed to ringside, grabbed the microphone, and angrily challenged Jessicka to a Grudge Match!

Velvet: I'm not sure that was her best idea- but the challenge has officially been laid down! Rosemary gets the victory here tonight- and it will be IVELISSE vs. JESSICKA HAVOK in a Grudge Match coming to an arena near you!


HEARTLAND LADIES' TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP:
CORA** & DEBBIE* COMBS defeated THE ALLURE (ANGELINA LOVE***** & MANDY LEON***) (c) when Cora pinned Angelina with a Surprise Cradle

The first title match of the evening pitted The Allure- a popular team in their own right- against the immensely popular Debbie Combs and her mother. The mother-daughter duo was able to gain control of the action and wear down Angelina to the point of defeat. Mandy hit the ring in an effort to save her partner, but Debbie was quicker and dumped Mandy out to the arena floor. Cora took advantage of the situation to catch Angelina with an Inside Cradle and catch the pin!

CORA AND DEBBIE COMBS CAPTURE THE HEARTLAND LADIES TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

Velvet: What a move! Cora has pinned Angelina- and the Combs Family are the champions! Congratulations to Cora and Debbie for winning the titles! Is there nothing that Debbie Combs can't do? My girl is on a SERIOUS roll!


MAIN EVENT: HEARTLAND LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP
KELLY KLEIN** pinned HOLIDEAD** (c) after a Fisherman Suplex

Once again, Holidead and Kelly beat the daylights out of each other. But Kelly was able to keep the action in the ring for the most part, preventing Holidead from creating chaos on the arena floor. Kelly worked over the lower back of Holidead, and when Holidead tried to escape the ring, Kelly slammed Holidead through the Announcer's Table! Holidead was clearly wounded by this move, but made it back to the ring ahead of the 10 count. Kelly greeted Holidead with a Samoan Drop, wounding her further, and setting up a big Fisherman's Suplex for the pin.

KELLY KLEIN REGAINS THE HEARTLAND LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP

Velvet: Wow! Kelly was on her game tonight! That was just all about the power- and Kelly's got it goin' on. Kelly is now The Heartland Ladies' Champion for the FIFTH time! You go, girl! BOTH the titles changed hands here tonight- so give it up for Kelly, and for CORA & DEBBIE COMBS for taking home the Tag Team gold. That's it for tonight, Heartland- thanks for another awesome night of wrestling here in Chicago! Heartland will be back on Wednesday night in Georgia with the boys from the Atlantic Wrestling Federation.
