EpicDave: Hey, fans! Welcome to Heartland Championship Wrestling! It is great to be here tonight with our good friends from the Atlantic Wrestling Federation. The 2024 Tour of the Southeastern Conference continues, and we are here tonight on the beautiful campus of the University of Georgia. This legendary football school has been a magnificent host this week, and the guys are ready to put on a banger of a show! BIG JOHN STUDD will be the headliner tonight as he defends the Dixie Heavyweight Championship against BLACKJACK MULLIGAN. It may not be a peachy night for the competitors, but the action will be electric- so relax, grab yourself a cold one, and enjoy the show!

AWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 CONTENDERS' MATCH
MR. WRESTLING I & II defeated BOB ROOP & COWBOY BOB ORTON by disqualification when Orton slammed II with the ring steps

The competitive fire burned out of control in the #1 Contenders' match as Bob Orton's temper got the best of him. Orton pitched II out of the ring and plastered II with the ring steps to cause the disqualification.

After the decision, Orton argued with the referee, then shoved the referee to the floor before storming away.

EpicDave: Oh, no- you hate to see that. I'm afraid that's going to cost Mr. Orton a suspension.


MAIN EVENT: DIXIE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
BIG JOHN STUDD***** (w/BOBBY 'THE BRAIN' HEENAN) defeated BLACKJACK MULLIGAN****** with the Backbreaker

The Main Event was as wild as it gets! Mulligan took the offensive early, bringing a table into the ring and slamming Studd through it! Bobby Heenan was incensed, and slid a chair into the ring. Studd used the chair to waffle Mulligan, then proceeded to put Mulligan through a second table! Mulligan was down, and Studd was able to hoist him up for the Backbreaker for the win.

BIG JOHN STUDD RETAINS THE DIXIE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

After the decision, Mulligan was down, and BRIAN PILLMAN sprinted to the ring to attack the fallen challenger! Heenan held the referee at bay while Pillman and Studd laid a beating on Mulligan until WAHOO MCDANIEL arrived to make the save. Mulligan called for the microphone and demanded a grudge match against Pillman!


EpicDave: What an ending to an incredible show! Congratulations to BIG JOHN STUDD for a successful title defense after a brutal battle with Blackjack. Why am I not surprised that this little punk BRIAN PILLMAN would stick his nose into that situation when Mulligan was clearly a beaten man? No doubt the influence of BOBBY HEENAN had plenty to do with that. All right, fans- we're done here. Thanks for checking us out tonight! Tonight, the superstars of Pro Wrestling Mid-America have come to Jackson, Mississippi for an action-packed evening. Here tonight we will determine the Number One Contender for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship when BARRY WINDHAM battles JOHNNY VALENTINE in our Main Event. And of course, the Epic Sports Broadcasting Network will be up and running to livestream tonight's feature matchups. Are you ready for a night of action that will knock your socks off? The fans here in the Magnolia State are on fire! So relax, grab yourself a cold one, and enjoy the show!


Fireworks erupted even before the first bout took place! The scheduled opener, DAN SEVERN vs. SCOTT HALL, was interrupted as Severn entered through the curtain! Severn was immediately assaulted by MENG, with assistance from Hall and SHAWN MICHAELS. The trio beat down Severn on the rampway, and Severn never made it to the ring.

EpicDave: Are you kidding me? I guess Shawn Michaels has showed his true colors, and he has found a couple of goons to do his bidding. I don't think these guys are interested in legitimate competition- just in shortcuts and whatever underhanded tactics it takes to find their way to the top.

STAN HANSEN & OLE ANDERSON (w/JIMMY HART) defeated THE VACHON BROTHERS (BUTCHER* & MAD DOG******) when Ole pinned Mad Dog with a Double-Team Face-First Suplex

EpicDave: A dominant win for WHATEVER WE WANT. Hansen and Ole were on point tonight. They are now on course for a PWMA Tag Team Championship match. But TONY GAREA & LARRY ZBYSZKO have had a stranglehold on those belts and they have taken down all challengers. Can JIMMY HART lead this team to victory?


SOUTHLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP:
TERRY FUNK*** (c) (w/JIMMY HART) defeated TOMMY 'WILDFIRE' RICH*** by submission with the Spinning Toehold

Tommy Rich gave the champion a run for his money in the title match. Rich went toe-to-toe with Funk, and caught Funk with a sleeper hold that left the champion reeling. With Funk dazed, Rich exploded with a Thesz Press and went for the pin! But JIMMY HART jumped onto the ring apron, distracting the referee and interrupting the three-count. Funk recovered enough to hit Rich from behind with a chop block, leaving Tommy holding his left knee in agony. Funk was able to cinch in the Spinning Toehold and force the submission.

TERRY FUNK RETAINS THE SOUTHLAND HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

After the victory, Funk grabbed the microphone.

Funk: You know, this title, the Southland Championship, is about the lamest championship I ever held. Where in the sam hill is "Southland"? Tommy Rich, you scrap pretty good for a Tennessee boy, but I AM A MAN and I AM FROM TEXAS. So Jimmy Hart, what I want you to do, is to go ahead and rid of this stupid Southland title belt, and get me a belt that I can be proud of. From this day forward, there ain't no Southland title. Terry Funk will now be known as the LONE STAR HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP.

Hart: I'm on it, baby!

EpicDave: Oh, my goodness! This guy has lost his marbles. But he who has the gold, makes the rules, so I suppose from this day forward Terry Funk will be defending the LONE STAR HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP. And now- we'll see who will be next in line for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship in our Main Event.


MAIN EVENT: NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP- #1 CONTENDER'S MATCH
BARRY WINDHAM* (w/JIMMY HART) defeated JOHNNY VALENTINE******** (w/JAMES J. DILLON) by submission with the Blackjack Claw

The Main Event was more one-sided than expected, as Windham took control from the start and was never really threatened. Valentine showed great resilience, absorbing plenty of punishment before succumbing to the Blackjack Claw.


EpicDave: Congratulations to BARRY WINDHAM! He dominated that match- and took down a formidable opponent to win tonight's Main Event. That will set up Windham for an NWA World Heavyweight Championship match against none other than RIC FLAIR! The history between those men has been epic- and you know that Flair and BOBBY HEENAN will do anything in their power to hold on to the gold. What a night for JIMMY HART! Not only does his man hold the Southlan- I mean, the Lone Star Heavyweight Championship, but he is now the proud manager of the top contenders for both the World Title and the PWMA Tag Team Championship. EpicDave: Hey, fans! Welcome to Heartland Championship Wrestling! We are proud to be here in Buffalo, New York- a great wrestling town and the City of No Illusions. The legendary ILIO DIPAOLO put this town on the map, even if SCOTT NORWOOD nearly tore this place down. But the men of Patriot Championship Wrestling are here tonight to create more great memories to add to the rich history of this fine wrestling venue. VADER has come to Buffalo with the North American Championship around his waist- but ED 'STRANGLER' LEWIS will be across the ring for what should be an epic Main Event. So relax, grab yourself a cold one, and enjoy the show!


The show opened with an episode of "Piper's Pit", featuring special guest GARY HART. Piper and Har thad a vigorous debate over the quality of accordion music presented by MARK HENRY. Piper defended his band mate, but Hart warned Piper that his crew was about to venture into territory much more dangerous than just a musical sideshow.

Danielson and Race hooked up for what promised to be an excellent technical battle. But when Danielson took flight and launched himself over the top rope and onto Harley on the arena floor, Race did not take the aerial theatrics too kindly. Race responded by piledriving Danielson onto the concrete floor, prompting the referee to call for the disqualification.


BRUISER BRODY & JIMMY SNUKA** defeated THE MOTOR CITY MACHINE GUNS (CHRI SABIN******* & ALEX SHELLEY**** when Snuka pinned Sabin with the Superfly Leap


PATRIOT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP: #1 CONTENDERS' MATCH
SUPERSTAR BILLY GRAHAM defeated SGT. SLAUGHTER*** with the Superstar Bearhug

EpicDave: An impressive performance by the Superstar. Sarge is a powerhouse, but Graham was able to match the power of Slaughter and then some. Graham has earned himself a title match against 'RAVISHING' RICK RUDE for the Patriot Heavyweight Championship!


MAIN EVENT: NORTH AMERICAN HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
ED 'STRANGLER' LEWIS** defeated VADER*** by submission with the Strangler's Headlock

The Main Event was a battle of contrasting styles. Vader launched a power assault onto Lewis and dominated the opening stages of the match. To his credit, Lewis took a beating and continued to battle. Slaughter turned up the intensity and charge at Lewis at the turnbuckle, but Lewis sidestepped Vader and the big man crashed hard into the ring post. Lewis wasted no time in clamping on the dreaded Strangler's Headlock, and shortly after, Lewis was able to force Vader to tap out.

ED 'STRANGLER' LEWIS CAPTURES THE NORTH AMERICAN HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

EpicDave: Congratulations to 'STRANGLER' LEWIS! Lewis has won the North American Heavyweight Championship! Lewis took down the mammoth here tonight in Buffalo, and he has earned the title that he now wears around his waist. What a terrific display of technical wrestling to take down a man almost twice his size! All right, fans- we're done here. Thanks for checking us out tonight! Heartland will be back on Saturday night with another big show from the Atlantic Wrestling Federation. EpicDave: What a brilliant performance by Garea and Zbyszko! They simply outwrestled one of the greatest wrestling teams in wrestling history. This will set up Larry and Tony for another shot at NWA World Tag Team Champions JACK & JERRY BRISCO. That match will take place one week from tonight at our upcoming HYPE show, Heartland Havoc CXXII: Cult of Personality. That match has the potential to be an instant classic!


ATLANTIC HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP:
DUSTY RHODES** pinned BOBO BRAZIL******* (c) with an Elbow Drop

It wasn't pretty, but Dusty and Bobo threw down in a competitive battle. Dusty surprised Bobo with several aerial moves, stunning Bobo. Strangely, the match was interrupted by the appearance of THE MOUNTIE, but Rhodes chased him off and no damage was done. Bobo was off kilter when Dusty smoked him with the Bionic Elbow! Brazil rallied briefly, but Dusty took Bobo down with another Bionic Elbow and followed up with a flying elbow drop to score the pin.

DUSTY RHODES REGAINS THE ATLANTIC HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

EpicDave: Congratulations to the one and only DUSTY RHODES! He has taken the Atlantic Heavyweight Championship for the second time! He picked up the pace of the match and caught Bobo off guard to regain the belt in his rematch. The will set up a two-out-of-three falls showdown for these two to determine the rightful champion- and that will take place next week at our upcoming HYPE event, Heartland Havoc CXXII: Cult of Personality. But now, fans- it is tome for tonight's Main Event!

The arena buzzes with anticipation as the Lumberjacks file out to ringside: BIG JOHN STUDD, CURT HENNIG, BARRY WINDHAM, BLACKJACK MULLIGAN, WAHOO MCDANIEL, DANNY SPIVEY, SHANE DOUGLAS, OLE ANDERSON, STAN HANSEN, AJ STYLES, PAUL ORNDORFF, & EDDIE GUERRERO.


MAIN EVENT: LUMBERJACK MATCH
RIC FLAIR* pinned TERRY FUNK***** with a Rope-Assisted Matchbook

Flair and Funk went toe-to-toe, but it didn't take long for the strategy of Flair to become clear. Flair tried to pin Funk with the ring ropes, with the inside cradle, and even with a pull of the tights. In frustration, SHANE DOUGLAS pulled Flair out of the ring, where Flair was pummeled by OLE ANDERSON & STAN HANSEN. When Flair returned to the ring, Funk took control, dropping Flair with a piledriver and heading to the top rope for a deathjump. But before Funk could take flight, CURT HENNIG pushed Funk off the top rope and down to the canvas!

EpicDave: This is crazy! Both THE HEENAN FAMILY and WHATEVER WE WANT are interfering in this match left and right!

Both men were down. Flair crawled over to Funk and tried to choke him out, but STAN HANSEN hit the ring and pulled Flair off of Funk. Hansen was confronted by BIG JOHN STUDD, allowing Funk to slip out of the ring. Funk was greeted amiably by AJ STYLES, who helped Funk back into the ring.

EpicDave: What a fine gentleman! Who doesn't love AJ Styles?

As Funk returned to the ring, Flair caught Funk with a chop block to the knee! Funk went down, and Flair quickly covered Funk with the use of the ropes. BARRY WINDHAM tried to pull Flair off the ropes, but Windham was tackled by OLE ANDERSON, which allowed Flair to complete the pin.

After the decision, Flair quickly rolled out of the ring. Flair was confronted by WAHOO MCDANIEL, but McDaniel chose to keep the peace. Meanwhile, members of WHATEVER WE WANT and THE HEENAN FAMILY brawled throughout the arena, as EDDIE GUERRERO and PAUL ORNDORFF stood by and placed bets on the outcome of the brawl. CURT HENNIG plastered SHANE DOUGLAS with a stiff right hand, which apparently settled the bet in Eddie's favor. The remaining babyfaces and referees from backstage hit the scene to break up the remaining combatants as Flair scurried away from danger.


EpicDave: RIC FLAIR lives to fight again another day! This guy is full of surprises- and tonight he faced off in a No Holds Barred match against one of the toughest men you'll ever meet. Not only did Flair survive, but he stole the victory and further aggravated his rivals from WHATEVER WE WANT. Of course, next week at Heartland Havoc CXXII: Cult of Personality, it will be Flair taking on BARRY WINDHAM for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. That match is shaping up to be monumental! All right, fans- we're done here. Thanks for checking us out tonight! Heartland will be back on Wednesday night with action from Heartland Ladies' Wrestling! The show opens with the tune, "Poison" by Alice Cooper playing overhead. VELVET SKY is standing in the balcony, surrounded by cheering fans.

Velvet: Heartland- WHAT IS UP?!?!?? I am HYPED to be here! Turner Hall is a ROCKIN' place for a wrestling show, and our girls are gonna tear it down tonight. We've got a stellar night lined up, with a Main Event that is going to KICK BUTT! It's the Mistress of Mayhem Championship here tonight in Milwaukee, with the powerhouse JORDYNNE GRACE defending against the incredible DEBBIE COMBS. Debbie has been on a serious roll- but can she take down the Juggernaut? We'll find out tonight. Let's take care of business!

Christina took out her frustrations on the rookie, but Madi didn't take it lightly. The action spilled out to the arena floor, where the fists flew until Christina dropped Madi on her head and Madi was unable to recover.


KELLIE SKATER & EVIE* defeated MSCHIF & HEIDI HOWITZER** When Evie pinned Heidi after botched interference by SANDRA MOONE

KENZIE PAIGE**** & ELLA ENVY***** defeated THE HEX (ALLYSIN KAY***** & MARTI BELLE**) when Ella pinned Allysin after Kenzie reversed a pin attempt

The penultimate tag match turned into a chaotic scene tonight! The Hex seemed to have the advantage in power and experience, but Ella and Kenzie fought hard and kept the match competitive. After a couple of double-teams, Allysin was in trouble, but KARLEE PEREZ had a plan. Karlee busted Kenzie over the head with her Mystic Stone, opening a nasty gash on Kenzie's scalp. SAGE HALE climbed into the ring, taking the referee's attention away from the dirty tactics of Karlee. The referee sent Sage away, but the damage had been done.

Velvet: Omigawd! That was nasty!

Despite the bleeding, Kenzie battled on, finally managing to tag out to Ella. Ella fought fiercely, but fell prey to the power of Allysin. Allysin hit a big Running Boot and covered Ella. But as the referee made the count, Kenzie staggered back into the ring and reversed the pin, rolling Ella on top. The referee completed the three count, and Ella scored the pin!

Velvet: Wow! What an upset! Kenzie and Ella got the win! Kenzie is bleeding all over Wisconsin- but she help Ella get the pin. I don't believe it! Now let's check out tonight's Main Event for the Mistress of Mayhem Championship!

JORDYNNE GRACE* pinned DEBBIE COMBS** after a Michinoku Driver II

The popular Debbie had the fans on her side, and put up a spirited battle against the champion. But Jordynne had the power advantage, and was able to gain control after several minutes of back-and-forth action. Jordynne was able to finish off Debbie with a thunderous Michinoku Driver II to secure the victory.

JORDYNNE GRACE RETAINS THE MISTRESS OF MAYHEM CHAMPIONSHIP

After the decision, a disappointed Debbie got to her feet, hugged Jordynne, and raised Jordynne's hand in victory.
