GWF 59 03.26.2088 from Sycorax Circus, Sycorax, Uranus.
- Injury and Suspension Update - It is thought that both Battering Ram and Massif have minor injuries and are resting up ahead of Decimation.
- Doc Strongbow's News Roundup. - Evening folks, we are one week away from Decimation and things are heating up nicely!
I can confirm that the number one contender bouts are in signed and sealed. Lord Nexus will battle Krakan for a shot at the Galaxian Title. While the right to compete for the Tag belts will go to either The Greek Gods or Bomb Squad.
Our main event tonight sees Bishop Hell take on the young titan Pulsar. Its the first time these two have met in the ring, I'm sure it won't be the last. The Bishop continues tuning up for his bout with Massif at Decimation.
We already know that Thantos and Star Warrior will clash for the Galaxian Title. I'm pleased to confirm that our long standing Tag Champions, The Gladiators will defend against... Animal Pack!
Decimation is shaping up to be a huge event, you do not want to miss it! Now, lets get on with the action.
- Singles Bout - Reptillo vs. Mutant Mutant defeated Reptillo with a Disqualification at 7:30 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Mutant came ready for a fight and was at Reptillo's throat from the beginning. While Reptillo may not be competing at the standard of his halcyon days in the Andromedan Wrestling Alliance, he still has the heart of a champion and showed it here! The Ani-man fought well, showing strong wrestling skills that countered Mutant's more anarchic style. However, when the bout spilled out of the ring it got rather out of hand. Mutant used a steel chair to devastating effect and bust Reptillo open good and proper. A couple more chair shots simply added to the damage. The disqualification was hardly a surprise and Reptillo had to be helped form the arena.
- Singles Bout - Killer Queen vs. Adam Blast Adam Blast defeated Killer Queen with a MEGABLAST at 9:34 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Another fine display and victory by Adam Blast here, the young rookie proving a real crowd favourites in his recent battles. Following a win over the powerhouse Brute, he was able to change his style to deal with the fleet footed Killer Queen. The battle of high flying attacks really caught the imagination of the fans and they were well into the action from the very beginning. A dynamic top rope clothesline followed by the MEGABLAST was sufficient to put this one in the record books.
- The Gladiators - Before the next bout could begin the three Gladiators made their way nonchalantly to the ring. Climbing into the ring, they struck their now familiar pose before Brute was first onto the microphone.
B "Shut the **** up, The Gladiators are here!"
With that he thrust the microphone to Massacre, who puffed on his cigar a moment, blowing a casual some ring before he growled fearsomely*
M "Now you see, Spike is here is kinda upset. And you do NOT want an upset Spike on your hands, ain't that right?"
S "You know it dude, that ain't good for nobody! I'm a head cracking bad ass, the baddest in the damned Galaxy. Believe it!"
M "And what makes Spike so mad, he has a contract a legally signed contract to face Battering Ram tonight, and that wimp of a freak is at home wailing to his mom after he got beat up last week!"
B "Yeah.. ha ha hu hu.. he got hurt bad, maybe he snapped something?"
S "Speaking of snapping, I got a signed, sealed date for tonight to snap an Ani-man. I want my fight damn it!"
M "Come on out Carter, bring your fat ass here and get this sorted. Don't make us wait!"
There was a brief pause before Commissioner Carter emerged with a microphone in hand, he seemed harassed and annoyed at the intrusion into his busy day.
CC "Alright, Spike, Brute. Massacre. Yeah, I'm sorry to say that Battering Ram is out of action tonight on doctor's orders ahead of Deci.."
Clearly Massacre was in no mood to wait and he cut the commissioner off before he could finish.
M "Woah, woah. There ain't no sorry about it. You call yourself what is it? Cupcake Carter? Prove it, sort this damn thing out, find an Ani-man and get him in the ring tonight."
CC "I'm afraid its not that easy, and its Commissioner to you! Yes you have a contract, but it doesn't state that a stand on needs to be found..."
Again Massacre butted in and was quick to jab a finger at the contract he held aloft.
M "Listen Cupcake, this is signed and verified under Aethran law! That means if a competitor pulls out, he HAS to be replaced by a blood relative, and the same damned species is as near as we get to this."
The Commissioner pressed a finger to his ear, listening to some direction from the raft of GWF lawyers back stage, finally he gave a shrug and was forced to concede.
CC "Ok, it seems that may be the case. However Reptillo is in no state to compete after his earlier bout, frankly its doubtful if he'll make it in time for Decimation to compete against you guys for the tag belts.. so this is what its all about, weakening the competition?!
M "How dare you! All competition is weak when compared to us anyway!"
S "Yeah, so get that retard Badger out here so I can kick his butt too! I fancy me some roadkill!"
B "Hu hu, ha ha, Roadkill! Good one Spike!"
CC "You got your fight Spike, and we just got a new main event for tonight!
With that the crowd cheered, though it was marred by some annoyance at the Gladiators divide and conquer tactics.
- Tag Team Bout - Space-Croppers vs. Beauty and the Beast Renegade defeated The Creeper with a SPINECRACKER at 7:36 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: The SPINECRACKER remains a feared finisher and it was more than enough to finish of The Creeper. Beast Rider wasn't involved in a great deal of the action, Renegade did most of the work for the Croppers. Vanity started the bout well, but when it became clear that Renegade was the difference maker between the two teams, he lost interest. Creeper was left on his own and had no chance of gaining the win without his partner. Vanity meanwhile was backstage before the bout ended, certainly this sort of performance is unlikely to gain him any friends, fans or ranking points.
- Singles Bout - Pit Viper vs. Death Knight Pit Viper defeated Death Knight with a VENOM BLAST at 16:30 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: This one sided beating was barely a contest, Pit Viper dominated from start to finish. Death Knight proved durable if nothing else. Its fair to say that the crowd shared Vipers frustrations as his opponent refused to be beaten and the encounter continued. When the end finally came with the VENOM BLAST it was greeted with ironic cheers. Not a classic.
- Backstage - Incredible Badger is backing out of Commissioner Carters office.
IB "I understand, if there's nothing you can do, so be it."
Badger grumbles and moves off down the corridor, he passes Star Warrior and the two men shake hands, Star Warrior shows sympathy for Badger's predicament and the two men wish each other luck for Decimation.
We follow Star Warrior as he enters a changing room a little further down the corridor. The door closes and we are left outside. Moments later Thantos and Comrade Terror sneak up to the door and ease it open, both poised to attack. However as the door opens, so it reveals Commander Sam, Omega and Star Warrior. The two groups face each other in glaring silence, then finally Star Warrior breaks the silence.
SW "Save it for Decimation Thantos"
T "You won't have these geriatrics to protect you then Warrior, just you and me and the MASTERLOCK"
SW "Bring it on.. I am so ready for you"
As it seemed there may be a sudden outbreak of violence right there, so experience showed and Omega simply slammed the door shut in Thantos' face. The fact that the champion stumbled away clutching his nose had the fans howling with delight!
- Singles Bout - Bishop Hell vs. Pulsar This match ended in a draw (Disqualification) at 13:49 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: This amazing encounter showed just how far Pulsar has come since his rookie year, he fought brilliantly and matched Bishop Hell step for step throughout. The WHIRLWIND almost brought him the victory later on, but Hell was able to kick out and moments later reverse the tables with his FLYING CROSS! While Pulsar escaped, he was left easy prey for the HELLFIRE which knocked the Titan senseless! The evil Bishop looked set to unleash his dreaded finisher again on a helpless Pulsar, but charging through the crowd came Massif! He rolled into the ring and clotheslined Hell over the top rope. Then the chase was on! Massif charging after a fleeing Hell as he fled backstage. Pulsar soon recovered and as he struggled back to his feet, so he was warmed by a huge round of applause and cheers from the fans for his valiant efforts.
- Singles Bout - Spike vs. Incredible Badger Spike defeated Incredible Badger with a SUPER DESTROYER at 19:32 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: This war raged from the very first bell! Badgers speed and agility faced off well with Spikes strength. The end could have come at any point, with both men exchanging skilled blows and expert moves. The BURROW BLAST almost ended things late in the bout, but Spike survived and soon unleashed his SUPER DESTROYER which earned him the victory.
With the win recorded, the referee brought the event to a close. Spike rolled from the ring, but he wasn't done yet. Grabbing a steel chair he slipped back into the ring and hurled Badger into the corner of the ring. With evil deeds on his mind, Spike swung back the chair in readiness to strike..
..From nowhere came Wolf, darting into the ring and drop kicking Spike from behind, the Wolf Skullcrusher followed and a dazed Gladiator stumbled helpless into the SAVAGE FACE CLAW. With a sadistic snarl, Wolf howled to his fans.
W "You wanted an Ani-man, well now you got two!"
This was the first time that Wolf acknowledged publicly his ani-man heritage. He seemed intent on removing Spikes face, and it took Badger to convince him to release the hold.
Badger and Wolf left the ring together, leaving Spike writhing in agony as the show came to an end.

Decimation 03.29.2088 from Amazon Arena, Bellatrix, Orion.
- Injury and Suspension Update - Nothing major to report. Spike carrying a minor injury following his encounter with Spike. Reptillo declared fit to compete despite suffering a mild concussion.
- Doc Strongbow's News Roundup. - Good evening and welcome to Decimation.
It all comes to a head tonight and I intend to keep this short But let me tell you this is the last of these News Roundups that I'll be bringing you. But don't fret, Ill be back!
Now, on with the action!
- Singles Bout - Omega vs. Pulsar Pulsar defeated Omega with a Titan Drop at 13:44 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: This was a battle for the ages and it really did have it all. The action took place both in and out of the ring, swinging back and forth as the fight for control raged. Both men showed some aerial prowess, not surprising from the young Pulsar, but certainly a real flash back for the aging Omega. The experienced Cetan survived a couple of close pin attempts and late in the bout even kicked out of the WHIRLWIND. It was at this point that it seemed the bout may swing in Omega's favour, but Pulsar showed a growing maturity, he didn't panic and just got on with the job. Shortly thereafter the Titan Drop ended the bout and recorded a win that will surely live long in the young man's memory. Both men received rapturous support before, during and after the bout, an excellent feel good start to Decimation.
- Tag Team Bout - Beauty and the Beast vs. Space-Croppers Renegade defeated Vanity with a SPINECRACKER at 3:19 Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: Last time these two teams met, The Creeper lost to Renegade and the SPINECRACKER. This time, Vanity made a show of entering the ring first with the intention of showing Creeper how it should be done. The result here was the same as the previous encounter though. Vanity fared well against Beast Rider, but as soon as Renegade got in the ring, it was a shirt trip to defeat for the vain one. Back to the drawing board for Vanity, he just can't seem to find a way to cope with Renegade at present, but at least he didn't get to leave Creeper on his own this time. Some believe that poor Creeper is a mindless fool, but he showed some smarts here by never once trying to assist his colleague. It seems that turnabout is fair play.
- Torture Chamber Bout - Wolf vs. Comrade Terror Comrade Terror defeated Wolf with a Reverse knife-edge at 23:31 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: The arena filled with an aura of excitement and dread as the Torture Chamber descended from on high. The ring structure folding away to be replaced by the unforgiving steel shell. Wolf made his way to the chamber with an air of extreme confidence, he paused a moment outside of it, rolled hie shoulders then stepped inside. In the very centre of the ring he let rip with a mighty howl of a battle cry. The fans as ever greeted him wildly, just loving the wildman's approach. Moments later Comrade Terror made a more reluctant journey toward the chamber, he walked around it a couple of times, testing the steel with a push here or a prod there. Then at last he entered and stood in quiet, menacing silence as the chamber was locked shut by the officials.
When the bout got underway, Wolf started quickly and went on the offence with a real vengeance. However, Terror seemed ready for the assault, a couple of chops and knife-edges slowed Wolf. Then the Comrade Neck Clutch was locked in several times, every time Wolf got free, so it was that he got caught in the hold again. It seemed a smart tactic from Terror, weakening Wolf's neck, an early Atomic Warhead seemed to further damage his neck and from that point on it was a battle for survival for Wolf. He may have been wounded in the first few moments, but its certain that Wolf is an absolute warrior and he just refused to lay down, giving everything to try and get back into the bout. It came as no surprise however when Comrade Terror took the win, he'd dominated throughout and survived the Torture Chamber. Wolf's return to action just not going as he'd planned.
- Singles Bout - Battering Ram vs. Exo-King Exo-King defeated Battering Ram with an Atomic drop at 21:22 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: What an epic, another absolute war as these two men went at it with gusto. The bad blood between them showed, there was no quarter asked or given here. It looked as though Battering Ram would seal a fantastic win as he started to turn the tide his way, putting in a tremendous performance that saw a couple of good pin attempts on his bigger opponent. The Ani-man's effort seemed to come to a head when he caught the King with his self titled finisher. However, Exo-King would not be so defeated and he barely kicked out. That really was the beginning of the end. The resistance was broken and Ram was soon to taste defeat, a few huge moves landed some serious damage, there just wasn't any strength left to resist. Great win for Exo-King, he'll no doubt be delighted with this, time will tell what, if any, positive impact it has on his career.
- Number One Contenders Bout - Greek Gods vs. Bomb Squad Proteus defeated Adam Blast with a Proteus Smash at 5:24 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: With the earlier matches on the card proving to be absolute battles, this one proved to be a change of pace. The Greek Gods had it almost all their own way, first they fought well against Commander Sam, then they worked well to isolate Adam Blast. The young man was given a wrestling lesson by the Greeks and not allowed a moments rest. While he sought valiantly to make the tag, it never came to be. The bout was fought in a good natured manner, with the four men embracing at the end. Proteus and Actagon seemed delighted, clearly they can't wait to get into the tile picture again. They'll be hoping they make the best of their opportunity at the next PPV.
- No DQ - Anything Goes Bout - Massif vs. Bishop Hell Bishop Hell defeated Massif with a HELLFIRE at 8:14 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: With the rulebook out of the window, this bout clearly favoured Bishop Hell. He seemed much more ready to take advantage of the situation. Massif showed what a man of integrity he is and struggled to adjust to a fight without rules. We had expected Bishop Hell to resort to using chairs and assorted weapons but that didn't happen either. From nowhere, Killer Queen emerged from beneath the ring and caught Massif with a great drop kick to the face, the big man stumbled backward into a deadly HELLFIRE and had absolutely no chance of surviving the pin that followed. It had begun to look like Bishop Hell would play it fair too, we waited to see what he had in store for Massif, having chosen the No DQ format. Killer Queen's interference was sudden, unexpected and deadly.
- Number One Contenders Bout - Lord Nexus vs. Invincible Krakan Lord Nexus defeated Invincible Krakan with a Disqualification at 9:27 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: We know there is no love lost between Nexus and Krakan and it showed here. Perhaps Krakan thought he was in a No DQ bout like the one before. Whatever the reasoning, he had a real rush of blood to the head and completely lost control. The bout spilled out of the ring late on, and despite a competitive encounter it was the first time that tempers flared. Nexus made as though to whip his opponent into the ring post, but it was reversed and as the Titan rebounded from the steel pillar he was caught with a broadcast cable about the neck by Krakan. The cable was tightened, pulled with a sadistic fervour until it seemed Nexus' eyes pop out! The referee not only called for the disqualification but also had to rescue Nexus, possibly saving him from serious injury. Paramedics were on the scene almost immediately, it remains to be seen if there is any fallout from this encounter.
- Tag Team Title Bout - Gladiators of Aethra vs. Animal Magic for the Galaxian Tag Team Championship Incredible Badger defeated Brute with a BURROW BLAST at 24:35 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: My goodness, this was a tale of one man wanting the gold more than anything else. Incredible Badger was, well, incredible! With Reptillo not at a 100% he wasn't able to support his team mate as he may like. He did what he could but, Badger spent a good 90% of the bout in the ring fighting off both Gladiators on his own. Several times it seemed inevitable that the champions would retain, but each time Badger dug deep and found a way to avoid defeat. Late in the bout Badger just had to tag out, he seemed to almost collapse on the ring apron and looked like he was totally spent, yet just moments later he had struggled back to his feet and was ready for the tag. Somehow, someway he was able to finish the encounter and claim the gold.
The Gladiators seemed shell shocked, they simply slipped from the ring and stormed backstage, both men clearly fuming. Meanwhile a battered, bruised yet deliriously happy Reptillo and Badger were barely able to stand in the ring. In a display of real sporting class the new number one contenders, The Greek Gods, came out, joined the ani-men to help them both celebrate and make their way backstage. Its doubtful they'll be so completely friendly in a month when they square off.
Animal Magic won the Galaxian Tag Team Championship
- Galaxian Title Bout - Thantos vs. Star Warrior for the Galaxian Championship Thantos defeated Star Warrior with a MASTERLOCK at 8:55 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: With the tag belts having just changed hands, it seemed there was an air of optimism among the fans that the popular Star Warrior could steal away the Galaxian Title from Thantos. The Evil Gamemaster had other ideas however, he was controlled and certain in the defence of his belt. Taking a methodical approach to breaking down his opponent. While it was a closely fought bout, every time Thantos put together some offence, he focused on Star Warriors legs. Slowly but surely wearing him down and weakening his resolve for when that dreaded MASTERLOCK took hold.
When it happened, as seemed inevitable, the champions finisher gripped as tight as ever. Star Warrior struggled, fought the pain, desperately sought the ropes, but it all proved in vain. After some moments he just had no option but to tap. The look in his eyes showed the heartbreak at seeing the title slip from his grasp again.
The dominant champion roared in triumph and took a turn at the top of the turnbuckle to celebrate. He may not be popular, but nobody would deny his quality.
Overall Card Rating: 3.42

Love how you wrote the main event. It really pulled me in like I was there watching. Almost feel bad for Star Warrior, but Thantos is the man!

GWF 60 04.02.2088 from Flamewinds Observatory, Oseon.
- Injury and Suspension Update - Thankfully there is nothing major to report.
Lord Nexus won't be competing tonight, it's nothing more than a precaution following his battle with Krakan at Decimation.
- In the Ring - The show opens with Commissioner Carter coming to the ring, he's warmly greeted by the fans and he's swiftly onto the microphone.
CC "On behalf of everyone here at the GWF thank you for coming tonight, we hope you all enjoyed Decimation?!"
The crowd cheered loudly, clearly universal in their appreciation for the most recent PPV.
CC "Tonight we begin our RingMaster tournament. This will put almost all of our superstars into a knockout tournament over the next couple of months. Thirty-Two men will be drawn randomly. That draw will take place next week. This evening, we will draw the few men who will not be taking part in the competition. Its time to hold a thought for your favourite and will them into the tournament."
Carter then motioned his thanks to the crowd before departing and making his way from the arena.
- The Gladiators - With Carter having left, Pulsar's music filled the auditorium and out came the popular Titan. He paused at the head of the ramp and reacted in his usual manner to the pyrotechnics that erupted about him. Then with a bouncing jump he started toward the ring...
...and was nailed in the back of the head by a charging Brute. The attack came out of the blue and left Pulsar sprawled in agony. Massacre followed, casually flicking his still smouldering cigar at the downed Titan. Then the two hulking Gladiators climbed into the ring, a huge round of boos sounding a simply deafening din. Brute claimed the microphone and roared.
B "Shut the **** up, The Gladiators are here!"
Slowly the crowd grew quiet enough to continue, while Pulsar managed to stumble backstage, it seemed that his match would now be cancelled! Massacre took the microphone from Brute and spoke angrily.
M "Ok, so the freaks have our tag belts. Listen up, we demand a rematch. Aethran law dictates that a defeated champion has the immediate right to a rematch. Get down here Badger, get out here Reptillo. Your time is over!"
Brute stood massive and still in the centre of the ring, arms crossed and impassive, while Massacre leaned on the ropes, staring toward the entranceway. Suddenly Animal Magic's music hit, images of Badger and Reptillo filling the big screen. The crowd roared and waited with bated breath.
However, it wasn't the new tag champions who emerged, yet again it was Commissioner Carter. Clearly enjoying the limelight today, he had more to say as he waited for the music to fade and addressed the Gladiators.
CC "Firstly, let me say what fabulous champions you were. Secondly, let me concede that you engineered the title bout conditions you wanted using the Aethran law clause. Thirdly, let me tell you that it's not going to happen again. All GWF contracts and dealings have now been amended. There will be no title bout today. You two, go earn your shot"
Pure, absolute fury erupted from Brute and Massacre as the fans cheered the decision. For a time it seemed that The Gladiators would refuse to leave the ring. When finally they did go, it wasn't without a range of vivid cursing and wrecking of much of the hoarding.
- Singles Bout - Vanity vs. Ghengis Khan Ghengis Khan defeated Vanity with a Shoulder chop at 3:40 Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: Finally, it was good to get on with the wrestling. This bout saw the flambouyant Vanity go up against the quiet and serious Ghengis Khan. A real clash of styles, not only in terms of personality but also of wrestling skills. Vanity has all the moves, all the flash and glitz, while Khan is more methodical and uses excellent karate skills to his advantage. It was those skills that brought Khan the win, bruising his opponent with a series of wounding chops and kicks, that last shoulder chop just seemed one blow too many and a well beaten Vanity simply crumbled.
- Tag Team Bout - Space-Croppers vs. Norse Gods Renegade defeated Man-Mountain with a Cropper Slam at 16:47 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Renegade has been leading the Space Croppers on a charge of late, yet again he was the key performer here and largely dominated this encounter. The Norse Gods continued their run of up and down form and seem unable of finding any consistency. It perhaps seems unlikely that the Croppers will earn a title shot just yet, there's quite a queue for that honour. Can they keep this level of performance going until the opportunity of a challenge become a reality?
- Omega - The crowd just popped wildly as Omega's music hit the arena, he may be in his twilight years but he remains hugely popular. Once into the ring he grabbed a microphone and lifted a hand, waiting for quiet.
Omega "At Decimation, I lost one hell of a fight to Pulsar, that kid kicked my butt! So, now.. Pulsar, get yourself down here right now!"
There was a mixed reaction from the crowd, this was a little out of character, the legendary king of fair play calling a competitor out? It took a moment, then finally Pulsar's theme hit and the young Titan made his way a little nervously toward the ring. He circled a time before slipping into the ring, keeping his distance from Omega he gave a shrug and motioned a query to the elder legend.
Omega "Pulsar, you won a great bout, you showed what a damn fine competitor you are. I'm here for one reason only. The doors of my training camp are open to you any time you want it."
Omega extended his hand, immediately Pulsar shook it and the two men embraced. The living legend held the younger man's arm aloft.
Omega "To the future of the GWF!"
Omega clapped Pulsar warmly on the chest, continuing to hold his arm aloft. Then they left together having forged a new and exciting alliance.
- Singles Bout - Pit Viper vs. Killer Queen Pit Viper defeated Killer Queen with a Snake Bite at 12:32 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: This great solid bout showcased two athletic men putting it all on the line with a series of daring moves from Killer Queen that had the fans on their feet many times. Pit Viper wasn't about to be outdone and fought just as hard, all be it with a more grounded style that seems to suit Vipers recent mood. He certainly doesn't seem cheered in any way by the recent success of his team mate Pulsar. Late in the bout, Viper proved that he too can take to the air. However, the Titan's aerial assault wasn't limited to the ring, he dived from the top ropes, smashing Queen against the crowd barriers. While a swift VENOM BLAST followed and wasn't quite enough to finish things, Killer Queen was sufficiently weakened that he was easy prey for the taking.
- Massif - Having lost his bout, Killer Queen probably thought his day couldn't get any worse. Massif though had other ideas, stepping out to the top of the entrance ramp he stood tall and blocked Queen's exit. With a huge fist, Massif gripped a claw about the smaller man's head, squeezing tight enough to buckle the knees of Killer Queen. Then Massif spoke in a low, rumbling growl.
Massif "Queen, you cost me my victory at Decimation. I'm putting you on notice, me and you in the ring anytime. You hear me Commissioner Carter? I want Killer Queen and Bishop Hell, I want them both!"
With a push Massif shoved Queen aside, then he turned and stomped backstage. It was a mark of the man that he didn't engage in any further unscheduled violence, instead waiting his revenge in the ring.
- Tag Team Bout - Bloodline vs. TitanPower Billy Jo Boxer defeated Omega with a TKO at 9:22 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: These four popular heroes met in the ring and shook hands, greeting one another warmly before the bout began. It was conducted at a friendly pace, none of the competitors putting their bodies on the line.
This was a rare outing for the team of Bloodline, indeed it wasn't long ago that they had claimed to retired as a pairing. But in the wake of Star Warriors loss to Thantos at Decimation, have they had a change of heart? Whatever the reason, the father and son pairing worked pretty well together, though in the later stages it was clear that Omega was tiring, he was caught with a straight forward TKO and the result was in the books.
- Singles Bout - Invincible Krakan vs. Comrade Terror Comrade Terror defeated Invincible Krakan with a Flying skullcrusher at 8:05 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Krakan has been making noises of late about his desire to become champion and has been pushing to get into the title picture by any means. Tonight he accepted a bout with the dangerous Comrade Terror, perhaps seeking to reinforce his credentials with a result here.
But Terror had other ideas, showing great form to overcome his determined opponent. The early part of the encounter was close and hard fought, it took a time for Terror to assert his authority and finally claim a great value win.
Comrade Terror seems remarkably loyal to Thantos at the moment, having sealed victory he made no attempt to push for a tile shot. He seems quite content to play second fiddle to the champion.
- Singles Bout - Commander Sam vs. Executioner Executioner defeated Commander Sam with a HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE at 8:24 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Great main event here, a real treat for the fans as they got to see the veteran Commander Sam in action. Executioner was up for the challenge though and in truth had the best of the bout from the start. Sam showed his real fighting spirit by surviving an early HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE, but kicking out of two of them proved too much for the earthman. Executioner seemed a little less loyal to Thantos, at the end of the bout he made the unmistakable sign of miming putting a belt about his waist. He climbed the turnbuckle and jabbed a thumb into his own chest while making noises about how he was the best thing since sliced bread. Sam meanwhile seemed devastated to have let the fans down and left quietly, most unlike the great man.
- RingMaster Draw - With the action for the evening at an end, Commissioner Carter was joined in the ring by Doc Strongbow. The two men stood over a large spinning drum that seemed in constant motion until it finally came to a slow stop. Commissioner Carter took to the microphone.
Carter "As promised, we now draw the four men that will not be taking part in the inaugural RingMaster tournament. I can confirm that as champion, Thantos is the first of those four. Doc, would you please draw the second unlucky name."
Strongbow opened the drum, dipped an arm within and came out with a plain white ball, this he opened to remove a slip of paper which he held aloft.
Carter "Thank you Doc, the first name is.. Vanity!"
Once more Doc Strongbow delved for a name, coming up this time with The Creeper. Commissioner Carter made the announcement, a gasp from the crowd as now, both members of the Beauty and the Beast tag team had been removed from the competition. Then, Strongbow searched for another random name, as he drew out the white ball, pulled out the slip of paper there was an audible gasp from the crowd.
Carter "Wow.. umm, thank you Doc. The fourth and final man eliminated from the RingMaster tournament is... Star Warrior! The competition is officially under way!"

GWF 61 04.09.2088 from The Pony Dome, Equuleus.
- Strongbow in the ring - With the opening of the show, Doc Strongbow climbed between the ropes and enjoyed the attention of the fans who were more used to seeing him in his video segment. He lifted a microphone and addressed the crowd, reading from a pad marked with the GWF logo.
"Good evening, welcome. Tonight we see the first batch of matches in our RingMaster competition. The random draw has been made and the first four encounters tonight will be. Lightening vs Killer Queen Pulsar vs Ghengis Khan Reptillo vs Exo-King and the main event of the evening Lord Nexus vs Spike. We'll have more RingMaster first round bouts next week. The full draw is available online."
With the first portion of the competition set to begin, Strongbow made his way out of the ring, leaving the stage set for the action to begin.
- RingMaster Round One - Lightening vs. Killer Queen Killer Queen defeated Lightening with a CHECKMATE at 18:20 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: Killer Queen took early control and was always in the ascendancy as the bout unfolded. Bluntly, Lightening seemed outclassed and rather at sea without hie tag partner. Perhaps Queen could have finished the match earlier, he certainly had the opportunities to do so, but no doubt he'll be pleased to reach the second round.
- RingMaster Round One - Pulsar vs. Ghengis Khan Ghengis Khan defeated Pulsar with a TWIN THRUST at 2:01 Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: This was a walkover!
Ghengis Khan barely broke a sweat here, he seemed to out-manoeuvre Pulsar at every turn, before finally setting him up for a devastating TWIN THRUST that left the popular hero in a bad way, gasping for breath, laid out on his back in the middle of the ring. Kahn sailed easily into the second round, on this form it looks like he could do well in the competition.
- RingMaster Round One - Reptillo vs. Exo-King Exo-King defeated Reptillo with a DEATH VISE at 32:33 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: This bout degenerated into a war! Not many would have expected a match-up of such quality between these two, Exo-King was a firm favourite going into the encounter and its a great credit to Reptillo that he managed to push the bigger man so hard. Every time it seemed that the giant had things going his way, Reptillo pulled some great veteran move to keep himself in contention. Finally, its seemed that the Ani-Man ran out of steam and was simply out of fight toward the end, he tapped out to the mighty DEATH VISE at the second time of asking.
- Tag Team Bout - Gladiators of Aethra vs. Space-Croppers Massacre defeated Beast-Rider with a MASSACRE SLAM at 17:38 Match Notes: The Gladiators showed that they shouldn't be overlooked despite no longer holding the tag titles. Brute proved to be an absolute rock, while Massacre later in the bout took to the offensive and was devastating in the speed and ferocity of his attacks. But it could have been so different, Renegade started brilliantly and caught Massacre with an early SPINECRACKER out of the blue. But to be fair, that was almost the total of the high points for the Space Croppers. - Singles Bout - Invincible Krakan vs. Billy Jo Boxer Invincible Krakan defeated Billy Jo Boxer with a FALLING FACE SLAM at 10:12 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: There's clearly no love lost between these two, as they came together in the ring, it took a while to get things started as the two men faced off and involved in a few moments of pushing and shoving and getting in each others face. Finally Billy Jo Boxer took the initiative with a series of combo punches that culminated in an early and very close pin attempt. Krakan recovered and near immediately had a pin effort of his own with a Krakan Skullcrusher. As the bout continued, the action went back and forth, control of the encounter changing hands several times. When Krakan connected with the first FALLING FACE SLAM things changed, he was then in full control and it wasn't long before the second ended matters. The clearly weakened Billy Jo simply didn't have any strength left to effect the kick out.
- Krakan's moment of victory. - With the win in the bag, Krakan stood in the centre of the ring, an arm aloft, simply waiting for the crowd to quieten down. The he spoke, addressing the fans in his familiar hate filled growl.
"Remember this day. Remember that you were hear to see the first step in the second age of Krakan. Tonight, you have witnessed the beginning of the era of Krakan the Invincible. The inevitable march to the GWF title begins here as Krakan proves himself the future force to be feared in professional wrestling."
Krakan then dropped the microphone and stepped from the ring, leaving a baying crowd who made it very clear they had no fondness for the hated villain.
- Singles Bout - Wolf vs. Man-Mountain Wolf defeated Man-Mountain with a Wolf Skullcrusher at 9:25 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: The crowd were lifted by the arrival of Wolf, the wildman raced to the ring and instantly raised the atmosphere, bringing the fans to their feet in a wave of excitement that was completely palpable. His opponent, Man -Mountain, received little fanfare as he clambered through the ropes. The bout itself was an interesting contrast in styles, the gigantic Norse God proved to be durable, but lacked any discernible or coherent attack. Wolf on the other hand was constant in his assault, while he didn't find it easy to bring the giant down, he did it in the end, claiming a fully expected win that will continue to see him reclaim some good form.
- Tag Team Bout - Greek Gods vs. Henchmen Actagon defeated Executioner with a GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP at 1:07 Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: This really didn't go as expected, the Henchmen just fell apart and offered little resistance, however the Greek Gods won't complain as they chalked up a valuable victory. Proteus removed Comrade Terror from the ring with his OVERHEAD TOSS when the evildoer attempted to intervene in the action, this left Executioner at the mercy of Actagon who took advantage and claimed a simple victory. - RingMaster Round One - Lord Nexus vs. Spike Spike defeated Lord Nexus with a SUPER DESTROYER at 8:32 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Lord Nexus dominated most of the bout, dictating the flow of the encounter and dazzling his opponent with his high flying assault. It looked like the encounter was at an end when the TITAN DROP connected, which Spike only just managed to kick out of. Later, a stunning Atomic Spike was enough to leave Nexus dazed and at the mercy of the SUPER DESTROYER. The Gladiator claimed a valuable win and a place in the second round of the inaugural RingMaster tournament. Overall Card Rating: 2.71

GWF 62 04.16.2088 from Chiron Obelisk, Asteroid Belt.
- Injury and Suspension Update - There are no injuries to report following Pulsar's sooner than expected recovery from his mauling last time out.
- Doc Strongbow on the mic - The Doc made his entrance as the show opened, he shook the hands of a number of fans before he made his way to the ring and stepped through the ropes, pausing a moment for the crowd to quieten down before he spoke. "Good evening fans, welcome to the GWF where the action comes thick and fast! The RingMaster Tournament continues tonight. We'll also see our tag champions in a non title bout. But for now, let me introduce my special guest, former GWF champion and a giant amongst men, its Massif!"
The big man emerged to the sudden sound of his entrance music and strode his way to the ring, climbing over the top rope, he shook the hand of Doc Strongbow warmly. The Doc immediately began with the questions. "Hello Massif, welcome and good to see you. Tell us how it feels to have held the title for the first time"
Massif rumbled in his low, deep tones "Hi Doc, yeah, let me tell you it was the proudest period in my professional life. Being the champion and figurehead for the company was something I loved and strive for again.
The Doc nodded knowingly, perhaps recalling his own period of success many years back, though those records were now sealed at the insistence of the Temporal Intervention Agency. "As the informal leader of the FDF, do you feel the hero camp is in good shape? Is there a feeling that perhaps Thantos and his crew have an advantage presently?"
Massif laughed and shook his head, lifting a huge hand to wag a finger "Not at all Doc, to my mind we have a great team and are in a good space to push on. With Mesmer now finding his feet we're ready to take things to the next level."
"Thank you Massif" said the Doc, "I know I'm not alone in saying that I look forward to seeing you getting to grips with the champion again, that's a battle I feel certain we all want to see again!"
With that Doc wrapped the show up and made way for the action to begin.
- RingMaster Round One - Comrade Terror vs. Death Knight Comrade Terror defeated Death Knight with a Count out at 12:51 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Comrade Terror claimed a straight forward win, he seemed in no hurry, taking his time to defeat Death Knight. He was steady and strong in his attack, picking apart his opponent with a methodical manner. However, he did show that patience isn't his strong suit for long, when he failed to secure the win at the first attempt, his temper flared. That measured approach went out the window and a far more brutal Comrade Terror emerged, taking the win eventually when he simply and brutally hurled Death Knight from the ring. The landing was so awkward that the count out seemed inevitable.
- RingMaster Round One - Commander Sam vs. Pit Viper Commander Sam defeated Pit Viper with a SAMS ATOMIC DROP at 2:41 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Sam came to the ring with a real fire about him, he dominated every moment of the encounter and claimed a win in very short order. Pit Viper looked determined before the bout and certainly didn't back down when the bell rang, however he was simply unable to compete. It seems that Sam has a sudden and clear ambition to earn himself a shot at the title. After the victory, he celebrated by miming placing the title belt around his waist. When he sought to offer a hand to his younger opponent, Viper simply knocked it away and rolled from the ring in a show of ill temper.
- RingMaster Round One - Executioner vs. Bishop Hell Bishop Hell defeated Executioner with a HELLFIRE at 16:11 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: These two competitors put on a great show, a real back and forth battle that gradually went in favour of Executioner, he seemed to be wearing down his opponent the longer the encounter continued. It was a very sudden HELLFIRE that ended things, catching Executioner completely unaware. The referee failed to spot the illegal manoeuvre and lifted Hell's arm in triumph. The Bishop simply stepped from the ring and made his way backstage, he wasted little time with any form of celebration, seeming to be a man on a mission. The Executioner slapped the mat repeatedly in frustration at the result, before leaving in a bad tempered manner, much to the derision of the fans.
- Tag Team Bout - TitanPower vs. Beauty and the Beast Billy Jo Boxer defeated Vanity with a TKO at 5:20 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: Beauty and the Beast may not be the most impressive of opponents, but The Titans still provided a spectacular end to this bout. Bill Jo connected with a Titan Drop, then tagged to Nexus, he immediately smashed Vanity with a second and more devastating TITAN DROP, another swift tag and Vanity found himself wobbled and at the mercy of a thunderous TKO. With teamwork of this calibre, perhaps there really is a bright future for TitanPower in the tag ranks.
- Singles Bout - Adam Blast vs. Mutant Adam Blast defeated Mutant with a Roll up pin at 7:34 Match Rating: 1.00 Match Notes: The big question before this bout was would Mutant remember what he should do once in the ring? Well, it seemed he did, arriving to the ring with real gusto, the ugliest man in professional wrestling started well and helped to make it a close and entertaining bout. Adam Blast proved up for the fight too, executing an array of great moves and a real display of attacking wrestling. However, things came to a comical end when Mutant simply seemed to forget what he should be doing, he paused mid action, glared at Adam, then launched a vicious and devastating clothesline quite deliberately at the turnbuckle! Adam Blast simply rolled up his opponent and took the win, an odd end indeed.
- Singles Bout - Star Warrior vs. Ghengis Khan Star Warrior defeated Ghengis Khan with a Karate chop at 3:05 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Ghengis Khan has been making noises of late, looking to push his career to the next level perhaps. A recent run of good form, six wins in a row, seems to have really bolstered his confidence. With success in his recent past, Khan had spoken of testing himself and perhaps looking to take his winning run all the way to the title. However, when he mentioned testing himself, Commissioner Carter threw him in with Star Warrior and it proved a step too far! The charismatic hero simply ran over Khan and recorded a very routine win, talk about coming back down to earth with a bang!
- Tag Team Bout - Animal Magic vs. Norse Gods Incredible Badger defeated Lightening with a BURROW BLAST at 11:42 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: The champions took a win in this non-title bout thanks to another great performance by Incredible Badger. He seems to be rather carrying Reptillo at the moment, the elder man is clearly past his best and is living on memories of past glories in the AWF. Meanwhile the Norse Gods put up a decent showing and had they been able to focus more of their attack on the champions weak link, this bout could have had a very different outcome.
- RingMaster Round One - Brute vs. Wolf Wolf defeated Brute with a SAVAGE FACE CLAW at 4:04 Match Rating: 3.25 Match Notes: Wolf was expected to win here, but perhaps not in such a straight forward manner. Brute proved to lack the resilience that is normally expected of him, he seemed almost ready to just lay down for Wolf. Has losing the tag titles had more of an impact on the big man than we first thought. However, this shouldn't detract from Wolf or his performance, which was strictly top drawer. His usual aggressive style served well, and it was no surprise when his feared finisher forced the submission.

GWF 63 04.23.2088 from Spica Pyramid, Virgo.
- Power of the Titans. - To a thunderous reception, Lord Nexus and Billy Jo Boxer made their way to the ring, they took time to acknowledge the legion of fans, showing perhaps why the Titans are among the most popular wrestlers on the roster. Once into the ring, the two men climbed a turnbuckle each to salute the audience, then Lord Nexus spoke. "Thank you, we appreciate your support guys. Its time for Billy Jo and I to stand up and be counted, TitanPower is a tag team we both love being a part of." Boxer rose to the theme, taking over from his partner "Damn we do! bustin' heads is what we do, we desperately want to mak a push on the titles! So tonight, we challenge the champions to a non-title bout, to prove we should be the number one contenders!" Nexus slapped his team mate on the back and started to speak, when he was cut off by the blaring sound of the Gladiators entrance theme. Suddenly, as though from nowhere Brute and Massacre were in the ring, facing off against the titans. Tension filled the arena, before Brute snarled loudly "Shut the hell up! The Gladiators are here!!" Massacre then took over, making a mouth with his hands and indicating the Titans were full of talk "Yeah, yeah, yeah.. boring! you pair of clowns, ain't got nothing on us! You wanna hold the belts, you gotta beat the best! The Gladiators are gonna slap you silly, right here, right now!"
Commissioner Carter interrupted the fight before it could begin, his theme rocking the arena as he demanded attention "Enough! This will wait until later, when TitanPower and The Gladiators clash in a number one contenders bout. Now all of you, get out of my ring!"
- RingMaster Round One - Man-Mountain vs. Beast-Rider Beast-Rider defeated Man-Mountain with a Boston crab at 5:12 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: With the ring finally emptied, the first bout got under way. While its unlikely that Beast-Rider would consider himself a genuine title contender, he certainly boosted his profile with this great win over the gigantic Man-Mountain. The more athletic style of Beast-Rider was enough to give him an edge tonight, every dog has his day it seems. With credit to Man-Mountain, he took the loss as well as could be expected, he shook the hand of the victor and wobbled from the ring, leaving the arena to allow the winner to enjoy his big moment.
- RingMaster Round One - Omega vs. Actagon Actagon defeated Omega with a GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP at 4:00 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: Clearly there is great respect between these two, Actagon applauded Omega all the way to the ring, showing his respect for the living legend. The two men embraced and shared a private joke or two before the action got under way. It was a somewhat muted affair, ending with the GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP that Omega simply couldn't break out of. With the result in the books, again the two men embraced, Omega encouraged the crowd to congratulate Actagon on his win, then the Greek returned the favour, asking the audience to salute Omega for a lifetime of wrestling excellence.
- RingMaster Round One - Adam Blast vs. Renegade Renegade defeated Adam Blast with a SPINECRACKER at 2:31 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: Well, this was quick. Renegade claimed the win with a painful SPINECRACKER that left Adam Blast in a bad way, he was unable to stand and needed the aid of a stretcher to leave the ring. Renegade, while Adam lay in pain at the end of the encounter, staggered about the ring, pressing a hand to the small of his back as though mocking the agony of his vanquished opponent. This didn't do down so well with the crowd, and finally, maybe reluctantly he spent a moment checking on Adam's wellfare. The bout ended on that rather confused note.
- Tag Team Bout - Animal Magic vs. Beauty and the Beast Incredible Badger defeated Vanity with an Ani-Men Ax Handle at 15:35 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: The tag champions seem eager to stay match sharp as they competed again tonight in another non title bout. Vanity and The Creeper put on a decent show, performing well above what would normally be expected of them, eventually though Incredible Badger proved to have the quality to be the difference maker. Later tonight we'll find out who the number one contenders for the belts will be, the champions may yet prove thankful that they stayed sharp.
- Singles Bout - Bishop Hell vs. Pulsar Pulsar defeated Bishop Hell with a Disqualification at 5:58 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: For once the referee caught Bishop Hell's use of his HELLFIRE. The bout had largely gone in favour of Hell, but he just couldn't finish the young Titan off. That growing frustration perhaps caused him to become careless in the use of his finisher. A surprise win for Pulsar perhaps, and certainly one that enraged Bishop Hell, he continued his attack after the disqualification and perhaps would have caused serious injury to the popular Pulsar, had Star Warrior not suddenly arrived on the scene and chased the villain away.
- Tag Team Bout - TitanPower vs. Gladiators of Aethra Massacre defeated Lord Nexus with a MASSACRE SLAM at 32:19 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: The Gladiators may have claimed the number one contenders spot and the right to compete to reclaim the titles. But damn they had to work for it! This encounter was an absolute war, neither team gave an inch, a brutal and frantic match up that really could have gone either way. Both the Titans and the Gladiators had earlier chances to claim the win, but that sheer will to win pushed all four men to give everything. Brute soaked up a huge TKO, Massacre survived two TITAN DROPS while both of the Titans had kicked out of the DECAPITATOR before the end. No doubt the fans will clamour to see these two teams lock horns again soon!
- RingMaster Round One - Invincible Krakan vs. Mesmer Mesmer defeated Invincible Krakan with a Demon Grip at 6:42 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: Krakan arrived in the ring first, seeming to radiate confidence as he addressed the crowd, reminding them that they were about to be witness to the continuation of the second age of Krakan. He spoke of victories, titles and an everlasting legacy. Finally Mesmer made his way to the ring and the bout got underway. To be honest it was a one sided and simple victory for Mesmer, he was dominant from beginning to end and secured his place in round two of the competition with a minimum of fuss. As the show went of air, so the defeated Krakan could be heard addressing the crowd "Soon, you all shall be witness to the glorious third age of Krakan...."
