After much thought I have decided, knowing what i know now about the fate of the aCe, to restart my aCe fed from the beginning. Hope everyone enjoys my twisted take on Osk's wonderful creation - aCe.


With the war ravaged Dimension Y nearly on the brink of collapse, the four warring factions came to the drawing table in an attempt to save their home. The aCe council as it came to be known, was devised of a representative from each of the warring parties - each with their own interests and goals. After several grueling months of deliberation, it was decided on that in order to salvage what was left of Dimension Y that it would benefit all involved to move this war into the squared circle where the battle could be fought in a more “civilized” manner. The sight of this new wrestling organization would be the now defunct CWF, a wrestling promotion opened up by former GWF stars Lance At-Las and Meteor following the GWF’s return to Dimension K in 2112. But unlike most wrestling companies, the stakes would be much higher. The fate of all existence would be on the line and the prize would be the much sought after Essence of Centra.

With the aCe successfully up and running, it was announced that wrestling would return to the Centra Palladium for a two night event. The show would be called Battle for the Essence of Centra. The event would feature a tournament to crown the newborn company’s first ever Essence Singles and Tag Team Champions. A series of qualifying matches between faction members would be held to determine which would earn the right to represent their team in the Battle for the Essence. The event would be covered by various news agencies across Centra and would be broadcasted live on free TV. Although the aCe secured no TV contracts for future events, it is expected that all shows that take place following the opening two nights will be covered exclusively by Centra’s main news outlet, Pan Galactic - Centra.

BATTLE FOR THE ESSENCE OF CENTRA

1.BATTLE FOR THE ESSENCE OF CENTRA QUALIFYING MATCH : Aegis defeated Lance At Las with RAMPART’S REVENGE. Aegis controlled large portions of the early going, nailing At-Las with repeated Opening Salvos. But the Martian Wanderer bounced back after a botched turnbuckle charge and worked Aegis over something terrible. Aegis proved resilient and took everything At-Las could throw at him and then returned fire, which eventually wore At-Las down enough for him to use his finisher for the win.


2.BATTLE FOR THE ESSENCE OF CENTRA QUALIFYING MATCH : Paganax defeated General Rankor via PAGAN VOID. Rankor dominated this contest early, and then something just seemed to gooff inside of Paganax. It was as if Rankor awakened the monster inside of the Chief Tribesman of Primus, opening up a Pandora‘s box of hurt. It was all Rankor could do to avoid being injured against Paganax as he unleashed a fury on him that is rarely ever seen inside a wrestling ring. from there it wasn't long until Gen rankor submitted to Paganax's superior power and advanced to the Battle for the Essence of Centra.



The camera cuts backstage to the Primus locker room as the recently defeated General Rankor storms in and begins destroying everything in sight. He screams violently as he tears the locker room furniture to pieces, leaving in his wake, a trail of broken glass and wood.

Rankor : How can we leave the outcome of this tournament in the hands of that mindless beast??!! I never should of agreed to the council’s terms! This is all backfiring! I was supposed to be the Primus representative - NOT HIM! I knew Paganax would screw things up! AAARRRRGGGGGHHHH!!! (Smashes a hole in the dry wall)

Rankor’s outburst is interrupted by a shadowy figure just beyond camera view. The voice is familiar, but not immediately recognizable.

off-camera : Whats all this for?!?!

Rankor turns around in a rage and notices the figure just off camera.

Rankor : Oh…it’s you. You shouldn’t be here tonight! It’s strictly against the rules. And what if someone sees you!?! IT COULD RUIN EVERYTHING!

off-camera : What are you worried about? I was careful. No one saw me. As far as they know I’m still on the Mothership awaiting results from tonight’s event.

Rankor : I swear, if you botch this I’ll have your head on a silver platter…

off-camera : hey - so things didn’t go exactly as planned - this is far from the end of the world. And remember, you still have me in your backpocket, and when the time is right --

Rankor : WE HAVE NOTHING IF WE DON’T HAVE THE ESSENCE! NOTHING!!! What--?

Rankor suddenly notices the camera.

Rankor : A camera?!?! GET THAT THING THE HELL OUT OF HERE! NOW!!!

Rankor lunges forward at the camera, grabbing it and violently throwing it to the ground. The screen fills with static.





3.BATTLE FOR THE ESSENCE OF CENTRA QUALIFYING MATCH :Murdok defeated Godsend with Head Spear Takedown. Very scientific bout between these two that went to several stalemates after some very exciting series’ of chain wrestling. The Centra crowd continued to boo both Murdok and Godsend throughout the entirety of the match, but that didn’t seem to bother either wrestler. It instead only seemed to further motivate them. In the end, Murdok scored the duke over Godsend and earned himself the right to represent the Crusade in the Battle for the Essence of Centra.


4.BATTLE FOR THE ESSENCE OF CENTRA QUALIFYING MATCH :Ventross defeated Nicodemus with a running power bomb. Ventross seemed determined to prove himself against the Ravager ancient, and pulled out all the stops to defeat the leader of the Ravager team. Nicodmeus seemed overwhelmed by Ventross’ enthusiasm and could do little counter his offensive barrage.


5.BATTLE FOR THE ESSENCE OF CENTRA SEMI-FINALS : Aegis defeated Paganax with a cradle. Paganax continued his rampage, this time against Aegis, and nearly ran over the leader of the ROC in the process. Aegis took a horrible beating, and possibly sustained several injuries during the course of the bout. But Amazingly, Aegis was able to reach down deep inside and find a much needed 2nd wind. Paganax, in his mindless rampage became careless, and Aegis was able to escape a turnbuckle charge and roll him up for the in. Effectively advancing Aegis to the finals in the Battle for the Essence of Centra. Aegis injured 3 fight cards.


Backstage in the Ravager locker room, Nicodemus has sat down with Ventross as he prepares for his upcoming match with Murdok in the Semi-Finals of the tournament. Ventross seems a bit distracted at first, but Nicodemus is eventually able to get his attention.

Nicodemus : Ventross - the ancients have spoken. This war we are currently involved in means everything to our race and this dimension. We have no other option but victory. The ancients have foresaw the grim fate that is in store for our people should we be unsuccessful. By beating me tonight you have not only proven your worth, but earned the right to represent our race in the Battle for Essence of Centra. In a few moments you will face Murdok - the man responsible for the curse that has fallen this dimension. You must not allow that- that monstrosity to wear the essence! Do you understand young warrior? The ramifications of defeat in this tournament could be disastrous….

Ventross : Yes Nicodemus. I will not fail.

Nicodemus rests his hand on Ventross’ shoulder.

Nicodemus : Then go - the ancients believe in you. We know you will lead the Ravagers to victory and capture the Essence of Centra for our glorious race.



6.BATTLE FOR THE ESSENCE OF CENTRA SEMI-FINALS : Murdok (w/ Trisis & Decaying Factor) defeated Ventross with CENTRA TAKEOVER. Murdok brought backup out to the ring with him in the form of the undead bride Trisis and the former GWF tag team Rack and Ruin - now affectionately known by Murdok as Rot and Ruined. Murdok used the help at ringside to his advantage as many expected, and when Ventross became distracted by the rotting form of Aegis’ wife, fell victim to a cheap shot by Murdok which quickly turned the tide in the Harvester’s favor. Ventorss, try as he might, could not regain control of the match and soon was defeated in battle (much to the disgrace of Nicodemus), allowing Murdok to advance to the finals.



7.BATTLE FOR THE ESSENCE OF CENTRA FINALS : Murdok (w/ Trisis & Decaying Factor) defeated Aegis with POWER OF THE PLAGUE to win the aCe Essence Championship. Aegis entered this match already injured, but Murdok added insult to his injury when he hauled out his former wife - now a rotting corpse. The sight of his beloved Trisis, now an undead servant to Murdok seemed to suck all of the life from Aegis as Murdok raced in and immediately began dismantling the Rampart leader. Midway through the match, Aegis attempted to reach out to Trisis, who in turn attempted to bite his hand off!! This actually sent Aegis into a blind rage, as he bounced back and began to throttle Murdok!!! The Centra crowd was immediately driven into a frenzy as Aegis unleashed every ounce of sorrow and anger he had in him on the man who had taken his wife from him. But Murdok had an ace up his sleeve. Trisis managed to distract the ref, allowing Rot and Ruined to slip into the ring, and decimate a raging Aegis with Desolation factor, leaving him a pile of flesh and bones on the ring canvas and at the mercy of Murdok. When the ref finally turned his attention back to the match, Murdok had already hit his finisher and covered Aegis. Murdok got the easy pin as the Centra crowd roared in disapproval. The Centra crowd nearly broke out into a riot as Murdok was awarded the Essence Championship. Extra security needed to be sent out to stop the oncoming Centra faithful from flooding ringside.


Murdok stands triumphant in the middle of the ensuing chaos, a broad, tooth filled grin spread across his disgusting face as the camera cuts backstage to the darkened ROC locker room. Suddenly the door to the locker room opens, flooding it with streams of light. Aegis is revealed seated in a chair in the corner of the room. A row of lockers has been pulled down, and shattered fragments of glass line the tile floor. Aegis is hunched over with his hands in his face. Lance At-Las enters the room and places his hand on his friends shoulder, somehow trying to consol him. Ageis looks up at At-Las and blinks, allowing one last tear to fall from his eyes. Aegis begins to speak..

Aegis : This is a dark day Lance…..

Lance At-Las : It’s not over yet. In fact, it’s only just beginning. We’ll get her back Aegis. And that monster Murdok will be brought to justice. I promise you. May God bless the ROC…

The camera fades to black.

The camera fades in on Murdok’s Vault Macabre. The walls and floors of Murdok’s personal throne room are constructed of a disgusting collage of rotting flesh and mucus. The soft hum of whispers lingers in the air as the walls and floors of the “vault” pulse - heaving inward and outward, wheezing with each crescendo as if struggling to breath. The camera focuses to the back of the Vault where Murdok sits on a throne made of bones. Fresh skin still hangs from the structure as if it was recently constructed. The Essence Championship rests over Murdok’s shoulder, glowing a brilliant yellow, nearly blinding out his entire face. Godsend stands at Murdok’s side, his eyes like red hot coals in hollow eye sockets. His face remains expressionless as Murdok begins to speak.

Murdok : Good evening people of Centra. Don’t adjust your TV sets…there has been no technical difficulty. We’re broadcasting from my throne room in the Vault Macabre on Antilla. I am accompanied by my loyal servant Godsend, who seeks asylum from those who would try and persecute him. I have offered him what he seeks, and in return he has pledged allegiance to my Crusade. And soon, all of you watching out there will as well. You see, I wear the aCe’s ultimate prize, I am YOUR champion, and I can promise, without a shadow of a doubt, that by the end of this war…you all will be proud members in my undead army - my servants for all eternity! (The Essence title’s aura grows even brighter becoming almost orange. It pulses wildly) Darkness looms heavy on the horizon, and soon my power will block out the sun in a plague of disease! I have harvested this dimension, cultivated the flesh. I grow stronger by the day, and your resistance…the Ramparts stand no chance against the growing wall of corpses I have risen in this Crusade. So you see, our destinies are intertwined..our fates on a collision course. Do not fear the end of days…embrace it, because it shall be a new beginning for us all.

Murdok laughs manically as the camera fades to black.

Wow...nice opening show my friend. Nice to see Murdok come out as champ. Dig the promo as well. From your hardcore upbringings, you'll have some great aCe write ups. Cant' wait to see more...maybe it'll make me step up my game.

Love the tournament set-up with the #1 vs. #2 of the same faction in the qualifying matches...

Great finals...loved how Rot and Ruined got involved.

Painted a great picture of the Vault Macabre. Horrific!

Decaying Factor are the coolest bootlegs ever in the sense that I almost don't see them as bootlegs, but rather as extensions to the aCe universe.

Right now I'm debating if I should allow Rot and Ruin to compete for the aCe tag belts, or to go with the Destruction 3000 rule, and not allow them to be ranked or hold titles.

I guess we'll see.

1.BATTLE FOR THE ESSENCE OF CENTRA QUALIFYING MATCH : The Specialists defeated Heroes United when Scorch pinned an injured Aegis with Flailing Flood. Both teams shook hands to start and proceeded to engage in a friendly exhibition. The Centra crowd remained into the action throughout. Shepard and Scorch worked well together using fast tags and double team moves. This was in stark contrast to the pairing of Lance At-Las and Aegis, who seemed a bit awkward teaming together. They missed frequent opportunities for tags and constantly found themselves trapped in the opponent’s corner.


2.BATTLE FOR THE ESSENCE OF CENTRA QUALIFYING MATCH : General Rankor and Paganax defeated Darkness Falls when Paganax pinned Jakyll with a decimating choke slam. Despite not being a seasoned team like their opponents, Rankor and Paganax dominated this contest. They used their size and strength advantage against both Jakyll and Krypt, overpowering them at every turn. Rankor was clearly seeking retribution for his team’s defeat in the Battle for the Essence Championship Tournament from only a few nights earlier. He barked orders out at Paganax whenever the Chief Tribesmen was in the ring, directing him to destroy his fellow teammates and “become stronger”.


3.BATTLE FOR THE ESSENCE OF CENTRA QUALIFYING MATCH : S.W.A.T Team defeated Ventross and Nemean when Warfare pinned Nemean with THE BIG PAYBACK. Very competitive bout between teammates that almost appeared as though they were actually mortal enemies. It quickly became obvious that the young Nemean was the weak link, which forced Ventross to do most of the “heavy lifting”. This would prove costly as it greatly weakened him. Flatliner showed off his awesome new armor and ended up beating Nemean within an inch of his life. Warfare had to call him off and remind him that they were on the same team. Ventross came in for the save, but now much weaker, stood no chance as both Warfare and Flatliner isolated him in the corner. This eventually led to S.W.A.T Team hitting their tag finisher on a prone Ventross. Nemean attempted to make the save, but could not break up the pinfall in time and S.W.A.T Team was announced the winners and representatives for the Ravager Team.


4.BATTLE FOR THE ESSENCE OF CENTRA QUALIFYING MATCH : Decaying Factor defeated Resurrection when Corporal Tek was pinned following WAKE THE DEAD. Rot and Ruined were like giant steamrollers in this match as they ran right over Cremator and Corporal Tek. They seemed to show no regard towards their fellow teammates, and this match would prove to be the most violent of the qualifying round.



5.BATTLE FOR THE ESSENCE OF CENTRA SEMI-FINALS : The Specialists defeated General Rankor and Paganax when Shepard used EXORCISM on Paganax. Paganax, feeding off the beating he delivered to Darkness Falls in the round before was an unstoppable beast in this match. Shepard and Scorch were forced, on many occasions, to bail out and rethink their strategy. As in their previous match Rankor directed traffic and Paganax followed orders to the letter. After Paganax’s initial rampage, Rankor came in to “clean up”. But found himself a little too careless, and nearly pinned when Scorch cradled him following a missed turnbuckle charge. Rankor quickly tagged back out to the beast Paganax, who continued to be a Primus wrecking ball, running through Scorch as if he weren’t even there. Things looked bad for the ROC representatives until Paganax became frustrated on being unable to pin Shepard with PAGAN VOID. He attacked the ref, screaming and hollering something terrible. Rankor on the outside attempted to get the Primus beast back on track, but it was no use. Shepard, now regrouped caught Paganax from behind and used the Turnbuckle Tabernacle to set Paganax up for his finisher. Rankor tried to race in for the save, but was cut off by Scorch. Paganax, kicked out, just a second too late and The Specialists were announced the winners. General Rankor was thrown into a rage after the contest, attacking the referee and the ring announcer before berating Paganax for costing them the match.


6.BATTLE FOR THE ESSENCE OF CENTRA SEMI-FINALS : Decaying Factor defeated S.W.A.T Team when Ruined used IT’S OVER! On Flatliner. Flatliner and Warfare seemed unprepared for the onslaught brought by Decaying Factor and found themselves constantly on the defensive. When Warfare and Flatliner were able to get in an offensive series, they always found themselves cut short by the no selling power of Decaying Factor. In a last ditch effort Flatliner attempted to use SHOCK AND AWE on Ruined, but the move failed and Flatliner found himself a smoking, smoldering mess on the canvas as Ruined rebounded and crushed him with IT’S OVER! Warfare tried to save, but in came Rot, and Decaying Factor hit him with Desolation Factor, effectively stopping his pin save. From there is was elemental as Ruined made the cover and earned Decaying Factor the right to represent the Crusade in the finals.



7.BATTLE FOR THE ESSENCE OF CENTRA FINALS : Decaying Factor defeated The Specialists to win the aCe Essence Tag Team Titles. The Centra crowd was clearly behind The Specialists team and were looking for them to even the score by taking the Tag titles home to the ROC. But it was obvious right from the start that Rot and Ruined only had one thing on their mind - blood! They battered Shepard and Scorch from pillar to post, which no doubt brought a smile to Murdok who was watching from the back. The action spilled outside midway through, and the ref nearly threw the bout out as the fighting made its way into the crowd!!! Fans were sent scattering as Scorch was power bombed right on top of a row of chairs! Finally the fighting made its way back into the ring, but it was now unclear after all the chaos who were the legal men. The ref finally said “to hell with it” and let the match continue tornado tag style. Scorch and Shepard tied to use double teams, but were unable to get the advantage long enough to make any real difference. Rot and Ruined used WAKE THE DEAD on Shepard and then turned their attention to Scorch, who obviously stood no chance alone against their combined force. Scorch fought valiantly, but in the end could no continue after being leveled with The Desolation Factor and was easily pinned. The crowd erupted into boos as Decaying Factor were announced the winners, and their outrage only grew stronger as Murdok himself came down to the ring to celebrate with his victorious team!

Yeah, they performed way better then I had expected. Originally they were just going to be Murdok's bodyguards..and now look at them - they're tag champions!

Now I just wish Zombie Dreadnaught would be made available on pdf. Oh the things I could do with him.

Big departure from my original fed. Lance At -Las and SWAT Team emerged as my first champs. How the tables have turned.

I think Centra is screwed.:-)
