With conference finals coming this Sunday, it's time to look back on the MLS season. To me there were three big stories:
1) the total collapse of Seattle after their CONCACAF Champions League victory.
2) the turn around performance at Cincinnati, Montreal, and Dallas. Tremendous showing by those three clubs.
3) the strong expansion season for Charlotte despite massive front office turmoil.

Weather the champion ultimately proves to be LAFC, Philly, Austin, or NYC, it's been a good season for the American league, and with the new Apple TV deal, 2023 should be good as well.
