Thank you for the feedback Sinclair, CC and Kamala.
LOW @ Portland, ME – Civic Center - Card 11 Killer Kowalski v. Ilio DiPaolo
This was arguable on of the best openers so far. Kowalski tires to jump DiPaolo at ringside but the big Italian is equal to the challenge and runs Kowalski into the ringside table. Inside, DiPaolo connect with back to back AIRPLANE SPINS but cannot get the quick win. The match goes back and forth from this point with both men picking up multiple near falls. DiPaolo survive back to back CLAW HOLDS before picking up the stunning submission win with a leg nelson. Time: 4:25 ****
Dick Hutton v. Ted DiBiase w/Virgil Virgil is flashing the cash at ringside and draws great heat. Hutton struggles early on but manages to escape three MILLION DOLLAR SLEEPERS to stay alive. Virgil gets some shots in at ringside until Ilio DiPaolo comes back to the ringside area and chases Virgil to the back. DiBiase is not pleased but the fans love it. Hutton fares slightly better for the balance of the bout which ends with both men brawling on the floor. Hutton takes things too far however when he cracks DiBiase across the back with a chair and is disqualified. Hutton keeps coming and the referee steps in only to get decked with a forearm. The distraction is enough for DiBiase to escape ringside unharmed. Time: 2:30 ** ½
Jimmy Snuka & The Destroyer v. Playboy Buddy Rose & Gorgeous George w/Cherie Dupré The fans are all over George and Rose as they come to the ring. George demands once again that he be announced at 217 pounds while George takes his at ringside before demanding that the ring be properly cleaned before he will step between the ropes. Snuka and George trade holds and then the Destroyer tags in and goes to work on George. Destroyer battered George in and out of the ring. Destroyer makes liberal use of a chair at ringside to choke out George and later uses the same chair to smash Georges leg. George manages to survive a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK but Destroyer will not be denied in his first match back from injury and gets the win with an intelligent sleeper hold. George is left unconscious in the middle of the ring and the fans love it. Time: 2:01 ** ½
Ox Baker appears on the Hot Seat with Bill Apter. Apter confirms that Baker has been sent out to officially apologize for his actions but Baker will have none of it and cuts a promo on how he likes to hurt people. He does not apologize for anything. Anyone who gets in his way is going to get hurt.
The Sandman (subbing for a suspended Ox Baker) v. Frank Gotch An interesting contrast of styles in this one. Gotch shows his skills early on and keeps the hardcore legend tied up on the mat. Sandman is able to get some brawling in and when the match finally goes outside he takes over the bout. However, the official sees Sandman connect with a SINGAPORE CANE and calls for the disqualification. Suddenly the lights go out and when they come back on, Gotch is in a heap on the floor and Sabu is standing in the middle of the ring. Sandman looks stunned and then charges at Sabu. The Civic Center goes dark again and when the lights come back on, Sabu is gone. Time: 2:18 *
Nick Bockwinkel w/Bobby Heenan v. Buddy Rogers Hard to tell who the fans hate more, Rogers or The Brain. The match is very even from the bell with both men countering well. Bockwinkel is nearly counted out after a brawl on the floor but he makes it back into the ring for the action to continue. Bockwinkel sends Rogers into the ropes and the Nature Boy rebounds with a perfect cross body block for the win. Heenan cannot believe it. Time: 1:32 * ½
LOW World Tag Team Champions Foreign Legion (Nikolai Volkoff & Iron Sheik) w/Nikita Breznikov v. Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal) w/Paul Ellering Volkoff sings the Russian Anthem before Sheik gets on the mic and tells the fans what he thinks of them. Classic heat. Great action in this one with plenty of hard hitting action. Sheik gets in some trouble when he is cut off from his corner but manages to avoid getting pinned even after back to back POWERSLAMS by Animal. At one point, Volkoff gives Animal three consecutive throat drops on the ropes which leads to a 2 ¾ count. The end comes when the Road Warriors execute the DOOMSDAY DEVICE on Volkoff. Animal blocks Sheik and Breznikov cannot cause a distraction. We have new Champions! Time: 5:24 *** ½
The Road Warriors are now two time World Tag Team Champions . . . Sabu has arrived in the LOW. What does this mean? Did Sabu attack Frank Gotch and is Sabu a friend or foe of the Sandman? . . . Dick Hutton was apologetic after the card tonight for striking an LOW official. He has been fined $8,000.00 for his actions . . . Nature Boy Buddy Rogers scored a big win tonight over Nick Bockwinkel who was considered to be the top contender to the World Title having bested the Champion by disqualification in Poughkeepsie. Does this mean it will now be the Nature Boy in line for a title shot? . . . The next card will take place at Civic Center in Bangor, ME and will feature the following bouts.
• Jimmy Snuka meets Playboy Buddy Rose in singles action
• The Destroyer continues his feud with Gorgeous George
• Dick Hutton teams up with Ilio DiPaolo to face Ted DiBiase & Virgil
• Buddy Rogers has signed to face Frank Gotch
• Ox Baker returns from suspension to meet Killer Kowalski
• Road Warriors defend the World Tag Team Championship in the main event against former champions Foreign Legion

Nearly spat my drink out when Sabu appeared in the Sandman / Gotch match! Can't wait to see what kind of chaos and destruction "The Homicidal, Suicidal, Genocidal, Death–Defying" Sabu brings to LOW!

Thanks for the feedback Show. I had the same reaction when I first saw the Jerry Lynn pic...lol
LOW @ Bangor, ME – Civic Center - Card 12
Playboy Buddy Rose v. Jimmy Snuka The heat for Rose is great as he gets on the mic and demands to be announced at 217 pounds. The fans love the Superfly. These two get plenty of time and battle back and forth. Rose does solid colour after a brawl on the floor. Snuka survives a BOMBS AWAY and makes his comeback to get the victory with a deathjump cross body block. Time: 4:01 ***
Ox Baker v. Killer Kowalski Baker is back in action after serving his suspension. The fans hate him so much they actually back Kowalski. These two tear at each other from the outset to the final bell. Plenty of brawling in and out of the ring. Baker stuns ringside with a deathjump cross body block but cannot get the pin. The end comes when Baker blacks out from a CLAW HOLD. Time: 3:29 ***
Buddy Rogers v. Frank Gotch Many are considering this to be a number one contenders bout. Rogers arrives with his working boots on and looks impressive and counters Gotch’s offense. A FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE ends it quickly. Rogers picks up back to back big wins. Time: 1:23 *
Ted DiBiase & Virgil v. Ilio DiPaolo & Dick Hutton DiBiase pays a young fan to bounce a basketball ten times but Virgil kicks it away at 8 drawing great heat. DiBiase and Hutton start the match and there are no tags after that. The Million Dollar Man puts on an impressive performance but in the end it takes five consecutive MILLION DOLLAR SLEEPERS to get the win. Time: 1:10 *
Nick Bockwinkel appears on the Hot Seat with Bill Apter along with Bobby Heenan and addresses the issue of who is the top contender. Bockwinkel is very calm and focused that he respects Mr. Rogers but he is the one who has defeated Harley Race and he has been guaranteed a return match by LOW officials so Mr. Rogers, Mr. Gotch, Mr. Valentine and everyone else in the back will have to get in line and wait their turn. Gorgeous George w/Cherie Dupré v. The Destroyer George tosses out Georgie Pins to the crowd as he makes his way to the ring drawing heat with each step. The action is intense from the outset with George jumping Destroyer before the bell and picking up a near fall with an airplane spine. Destroyer battles back outside and then nearly gets the submission with a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. The match has a solid pace as the momentum goes back and forth. Twice Dupré interferes drawing great heat but Destroyer battles back and gets the win with another FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK as Dupré is not able to distract the referee. Time: 2:26. **
LOW Tag Team Title Match – Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal) (ch) w/Paul Ellering v. Foreign Legion (Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff) w/Nikita Breznikov Volkoff sings the Russian Anthem and once the again the fans are all over him. Sheik then tells the fans what he thinks of the Road Warriors and Americans in general whipping the fans into a frenzy. Breznikov looks like he might deck Gary Michael Cappetta but the Champions arrive and go on the attack instantly. Animal nearly ends it in the opening moments with a flying shoulder ram on Sheik. Both teams are able to make tags and Hawk keeps the momentum going with back to back gorilla press slams on Volkoff before hooking the leg for the three count. Time: 1:27. *
The Nature Boy now has victories over Nick Bockwinkel and Buddy Rogers and is pushing to be the next contender for the LOW Title. Bockwinkel is currently signed to meet LOW Champion Harley Race on card 14 after defeating Race by disqualification in Baltimore. The next card will take place at the Armory in Waterville, ME and will feature the following bouts. • Former tag team champion Iron Sheik competes in singles action against Buff Bagwell
• King Kong Bundy makes his return from injury against the man who put him on the shelf Ilio DiPaolo
• Greg & Johnny Valentine continue their war with Bobo Brazil & Red Bastien
• Number one contender Nick Bockwinkel faces Brutus Beefcake
• Sabu makes his official in ring debut against The Sandman
• LOW Tag Team Champions Road Warriors defend the Titles in the main event against The Valiant Brothers

Road Warriors seem to have the ability to win rapidly everywhere they appear. Looking forward to seeing how they do against the always dangerous Valiant Brothers.
With Sabu on his way in, can this mean the end of the Sandman???
Looking forward to seeing how the Nature Boy storyline plays out

Thank Sinclair for the comments. Rogers has been on an impressive run and he will getting a title shot on Card 15 when the LOW rolls into the Philadelphia Spectrum. Also signed for that night will be a steel cage match between Jimmy Snuka & Playboy Buddy Rose.
LOW @ Waterville, ME – Armory - Card 13
Iron Sheik w/Nikita Breznikov v. Buff Bagwell Sheik gets on the mic and draws fantastic heat by ripping into the fans. Sheik goes to work on Bagwell from the opening bell with a series of suplexes and a punishing Boston Crab. Sheik then ends it with a CAMEL CLUTCH. It looks like Sheik will not release the hold when suddenly Hacksaw Jim Duggan comes through the crowd with a 2x4 and clears the ring. The fans go insane. Time: 0:33 dud
King Kong Bundy w/Bobby Heenan v. Ilio DiPaolo Bundy is promising a five count tonight the fans are all over him and his manager. DiPaolo does not back down from Bundy’s extreme weight advantage. A chairshot busts open Bundy at ringside and the referee lets the action continue despite Heenan’s protests. It is all DiPaolo in the ring and he ends it with an AIRPLANE SPIN that wows the fans. Time: 1:13 *
Johnny & Greg Valentine v. Bobo Brazil & Red Bastien Brazil & Bastien takes several minutes to greet the fans at ringside. It does not take long for the blood to spill in this one as Greg Valentine does unreal colour off the ring post during a brawl with Bobo Brazil at ringside. The action goes back and forth. Brazil gets in trouble mid-way through the bout but survives a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK and a chair shot that busts him open as well. Both teams trade the advantage back and forth until the time limit expires. The action continues after the bell will all four men brawling until security arrives to break things up. Time: 5:00 *** ½
Playboy Buddy Rose appears on the Hotseat for another entertaining segment. Rose is hyping an energy drink of his own concoction that looks more like pea soup that anything else. Most of it ends up on his shirt which cause Apter to laugh. Rose snaps and looks like he may deck Apter but Superfly Jimmy Snuka arrives causing Rose to retreat to the back. Nick Bockwinkel w/Bobby Heenan v. Brutus Beefcake We get a solid weasel chant before the bell and Beefcake loves it. It is all Bockwinkel in the ring from the opening bell. The match goes to the floor and Beefcake reverses a whip into the ring post and Bockwinkel goes shoulder first into the steel. The referee calls for the disqualification and the fans cannot believe it. Heenan collects Bockwinkel and heads to the back leaving a clearly frustrated Beefcake in the ring. 0:58 (dud)
Sabu v. The Sandman Sandman comes armed with his Singapore Cane, smoke and beer in hand. The fans are ready for complete chaos and that is exactly what they received. Plenty of brawling both in and out of the ring. Sandman makes liberal use of a chair at ringside busting open Sabu. Sabu also uses a chair and hits the Arabian facebuster knocking Sandman loopy. Twice Sabu misses the TRIPLE JUMP MOONSAULT and Sandman is able to claim the win with a SINGAPORE CANE. Time: 2:33 ** ½
LOW Tag Team Title Match – Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal) (ch) w/Paul Ellering v. Jimmy & Johnny Valiant w/Captain Lou Albano The Valiant Brothers came to fight and use every dirty trick in the book including thumbs to the eyes and kicks to the groins. Jimmy Valiant sends Hawk head first into the ring post busting him open mid-way through the match. The action continues in and out of the ring with the Valiant picking up a couple of near fall in between the Warrior’s power moves. At one point Hawk gets nailed with a TOP ROPE ELBOW but Animal is in for the save starting a wild brawl. Jimmy Valiant and Hawk end up brawling on the floor and decking Hawk with a chair shot. Hawk cannot recover and is counted out of the ring. Both teams and their managers brawl their way to the back after the bell. Time 4:35 ****
A big win tonight for the Valiant Brothers over the Road Warriors. They did not come away with the tag team gold but Albano had his team firing on all cylinders and they gave the Champions all they can handle and then some . . . Hacksaw Jim Duggan made a surprise debut tonight fending off a post-match attack by Iron Sheik against Buff Bagwell. He has set his 2x4 on Iron Sheik and fans are bracing for another all-out war in the LOW rings. Sheik will be going it alone as LOW Management has officially announced that Nikolai Volkoff has departed the area. . . . The feud between the Valentine family and the team of Bobo Brazil & Red Bastien continues to thrill fans. Watch for this feud to go to the next level in the coming cards . . . The next card will take place at the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh, PA and will feature the following bouts. • Ox Baker vs. Ilio DiPaolo
• Ted DiBiase will face Dick Hutton one on one
• Jimmy Snuka challenges Playboy Buddy Rose
• Destroyer meets Gorgeous George in singles action
• There will be a 10 minute time limit when the team of Johnny & Greg Valentine faces Bobo Brazil & Red Bastien

• Harley Race defends the LOW World Title against Nick Bockwinkel

Valiant Brothers over the Road Warriors was huge, Bookerbill. I'm looking forward to the rematch. It was nice to see Ilio DiPaolo picking up a huge win as well. Great action as always and your use of Playboy Buddy Rose is classic.

Wow, what a red hot blood & guts style show the good people of Waterville received last night! The action we get from Booker Bill's LOW rings are never short on intensity!
A good call by LOW Management to extend the time limit for the next Johnny & Greg Valentine / Bobo Brazil & Red Bastien tag team clash. I hope that the promoter beefs up his security in Pittsburgh for that one as it promises to be a real barn burner!
Bobby Heenan must be absolutely livid after Bockwinkel hurt his shoulder; certainly not the way you want to be going into a Championship showdown with a man like Harley Race!
Something tells me that the Sabu / Sandman war is FAR from finished! This rivalry is going to get pretty nasty I can safely say...

Thanks Crue, CC and show for the feedback.
LOW @ Pittsburgh, PA – Civic Arena - Card 14
Ilio DiPaolo v. Ox Baker Baker absolutely dominated this one from the open bell not allowing any offense from his opponent. DiPaolo was able to counter a clothesline with one of his own sending both men crashing to the mat. Both men recover virtually at the same time and DiPaolo is able to use an AIRPLANE SPIN to get the three count of out nowhere. Time: 1:12 *
Ted DiBiase w/Virgil v. Dick Hutton The fans are solidly behind Hutton from the outset as Virgil taunts ringside with some cash. DiBiase is able to use his slight agility advantage to gain the upper hand and this one ends rather quickly with DiBiase third MILLION DOLLAR SLEEPER. After the match, DiBiase stuffs cash into Hutton’s mouth and then slaps him awake drawing great heat from ringside. 0:49. dud
Playboy Buddy Rose v. Jimmy Snuka Snuka has the fans on their feet as he takes several greeting his supporters at ringside. This one is all Snuka. Rose is busted open off the ring post and the referee lets the action continue. Snuka hits three consecutive powerslams but Rose kicks out of the cover. Snuka tosses Rose to the floor and when his bloody opponent rolls back into the ring a fourth powerslam ends it. Time: 0:47. *
Nature Boy Buddy Rogers appears on the Hot Seat with Bill Apter and declares himself the number one contender to the LOW World Champion having already beaten Nick Bockwinkel in the middle of the ring. Rogers tells Apter that it does not matter who wins tonight’s match, he will be the next World Champion.
Extended Time Limit – Johnny & Greg Valentine v. Bobo Brazil & Red Bastien The Hammer strikes early and cracks Bastien with a steel chair busting him open at ringside. Brazil gains some revenge later when he runs Greg Valentine into the ring rails busting him open. They had extra time in this one but did not need it as Brazil and Bastien managed to cut off Greg Valentine for a majority of the match. A COCO BUTT did not get the job done but Bastien’s spinning neckbreaker (ch) did as Brazil blocks Johnny Valentine from saving his son. Time: 3:12 ** ½
The Destroyer v. Gorgeous George w/Cherie Dupré Awesome heat for George as he takes several minutes to prepare at ringside. He then goes after Gary Michael Cappetta demanding that the ring be cleaned before he will compete. Destroyer comes to the announcers aid and goes on the attack. George never gets any offense going and The Destroyer ends it quickly with a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK. Time: 0:36 dud
LOW World Tag Team Title Match – Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal) w/Paul Ellering (ch) v. Johnny & Jimmy Valiant w/Captain Lou Albano The Champions once again struggle against the Valiant Brothers early on with Animal doing colour after eating the ring post. The action goes and out of the ring until Hawk battering rams Johnny Valiant into the ring post and is disqualified. It is chaos after the bell with both teams and their managers brawling until security arrives to break things up. Time: 2:15 ** LOW World Title Match – Harley Race (ch) v. Nick Bockwinkel w/Bobby Heenan We get a solid weasel chant directed at the Brain on the floor and Heenan is clearly rattled. Bockwinkel is not however and immediately gains control of the bout. Four times Race escapes a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK before Bockwinkel locks in a BOCKWINKEL SLEEPER. Race makes the ropes bringing the fans to their feet but a fifth FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK awards Bockwinkel the LOW Title. Race has zero offense. Time: 1:05 ** 1/2
Congratulations to Nick Bockwinkel on winning the LOW World Title in convincing fashion in tonight’s main event . . . The Valiant Brothers appear to have the number of the LOW Tag Team Champions Road Warriors but have not been able to take home the gold yet . . . The Destroyer continues to dominate against Gorgeous George . . . The bloody feud between the team of Bobo Brazil & Red Bastien and the Valentines continues to impress fans around the territory . . . The next card will take place at the Spectrum in Philadelphia, PA and will feature the following bouts. • Jimmy Snuka and Playboy Buddy Rose take their feud inside the Steel Cage
• The Sandman and Sabu collide for the second time
• Giant Baba makes his return and will be looking for revenge against Ox Baker
• Former World Champion Harley Race meets Frank Gotch
• Iron Sheik challenges Hacksaw Jim Duggan
• Ilio DiPaolo looks to continue his winning ways when he meets Killer Kowalski
• Bobo Brazil takes on Johnny Valentine one on one
• The Valiant Brothers get another opportunity at the LOW World Tag Team Champions Road Warriors
• New LOW World Champion Nick Bockwinkel makes his first defense against Buddy Rogers

What a shocking world title win for Nick Bockwinkel with Harley Race getting in no offense, but at least Race toughed it out before dropping the strap. I'm really enjoying all of the rivalries in your fed, Bookerbill, especially Snuka vs. Rose (some classic PNW action) and the Valiant's holding their own against the Road Warriors. Looking forward to the show in Philly.
