Despite a couple of weak finishes, overall this was a very strong show. The Race/Savage main event was awesome as well as the RVD/Brody war. Lots of opportunities for return matches.

Despite a couple of weak finishes, overall this was a very strong show. The Race/Savage main event was awesome as well as the RVD/Brody war. Lots of opportunities for return matches. You are so right, there will be several rematches in the near future. I am leaning towards Savage v. Race once again on top. If Savage loses he will drop out of the top five rankings all together!

That last card was awesome Bookerbill and I'm glad you are leaning towards doing a Randy Savage vs. Harley Race title rematch. That was a terrific main event. I also thoroughly enjoyed the battled between RVD and Bruiser Brody as well as Gorgeous George vs. Marty Jannetty. Looking forward to the next show.

I have decided to reboot this federation. As much as I enjoyed the finished product, it was just too much to create the detailed reports. I was taking away from my time with my other two feds. Before I got too deep, I have decided to restart the fed with a shorter reporting style. I have also renamed the federation as Ultimate Legends Combat (ULC!).
Card 01 - ULC 01 – Thesz v. Rogers Madison Square Garden, New York, New York
King Kong Bundy crushed Blue Meanie. Not much to this one that lasted just two moves and ended with a ATLANTIC CITY AVALANCHE. Bundy gets the five count and earns heat. D
Hollywood Knights (Gorgeous George, Rock Riddle, Lenny Lane & “Pretty Boy” Bobby Heenan) defeated “Outlaw” Scott Casey, Marty Jannetty, Scott Taylor & Brutus Beefcake by count-out. Morgan Dollar sent Cherie Dupré to the back before the bell and George lost his mind. Some really solid back and bout. The end came when George cracked Casey with a chair shot during a brawl o the floor which lead to Casey being counted-out. The Knights celebrated on the floor with some extreme heat from ringside.**
Hacksaw Duggan and Ted DiBiase battled to a double disqualification. These two wasted no time in tearing into each other and tearing apart ringside in the process. Duggan was busted open when DiBiase ran him into the ring post and minutes later they ended up back on the floor again and this time Morgan Dollar had seen enough and called for the bell. The fight does not end there as DiBiase cracls Duggan with his own 2x4 and Duggan is injured for one fight card as a result. * ½
Bobo Brazil pinned Greg Valentine. “The Hammer” lit up Brazil early with chops and looked to be in control when he backdropped Brazil to the floor in nasty looking spot. However, Brazil dragged Valentine outside and rammed him into the corner post. Valentine survived a COCO BUTT but a bear hug was enough to give Brazil the submission win. * ½
Jimmy Snuka & Bruiser Brody defeated Harley Race & Larry Hennig. This was about as violent and hard hitting as you would think with these four men in the ring. The action went back and forth and twisted in and out of the ring until Brody was able to catch Hennig with a JUMPING KNEE DROP to claim the three count. ** ½
“Macho Man” Randy Savage bested Rob Van Dam by disqualification. These two had one speed from the outset, full ahead. The match was over just as quick as the action however after Van Dam got the best of a brawl on the floor and then decided to use a Van Daminiator, likely not the smartest move given the strict instructions from Morgan Dollar to both men before bell. *
Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal) beat Foreign Legion (Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff) w/Shawn Daivari to claim the ULC World Tag Team Titles. The Road Warriors unleashed a blitzkrieg from the opening bell that was full of power and contained little mercy. Hawk & Animal doubled teamed throughout including multiple double clotheslines. Daivari was able to distract Morgan Dollar after a DOOMSDAY DEVICE to Sheik but it only delayed the inevitable as Animal put away Volkoff with a flying shoulder ram to claim the titles. **
Buddy Rogers submitted Lou Thesz to capture the ULC World Title. The atmosphere for the main event was electric as the dislike between Thesz and Rogers was obvious from the outset. Thesz enjoyed the early advantage but Rogers rammed this leg off the ring post turning the momentum of the match. Rogers attacked the leg and picked a near fall with a jumping knee smash. Thesz drew on the fans support and nearly submitted Rogers with a rolling short-arm scissors but Rogers made the ropes and the action continued until the Nature Boy was able to trap Thesz in a FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE forcing Thesz to black out. ***

Really like the streamlined reporting style... Totally understand where you're coming from... It's too easy to let yourself get bogged down with descriptions which can negatively impact the fun of the game itself... Also pleased that you're giving the match outcome in the first line of each summary...
Hollywood Knights is very cool name for a stable and I look forward to seeing more from them... Savage vs RVD has the potential to become a showstopping program... Rematch, please...
Excellent stuff, as always!

Card 02 – (ULC Main Event) Ted Constant Convocation Centre, Norfolk, Virginia
Injuries: Hacksaw Jim Duggan 1 card
Ron Hutchinson upset King Kong Bundy. Bundy threw his size and power around early and brutalizing Hutchinson in and out of the ring. Hutchinson managed to stun Bundy with a inside cradle for a huge near fall and followed with an Olympic Roll Up for another two count. Bundy was off balance and never was able to get back in command falling to a moonsault for the three count. **
Lou Albano & Bruiser Costa defeated Chaz Taylor & Tugboat Taylor by disqualification. The Taylors are in total control when Chaz Taylor nails Costa with a CHAZITZER and Taylor bails to the floor. Taylor comes outside but Costa grabs a chair with evil intent. However, Taylor is more than ready and gains control of the weapon and decks Costa earning a disqualification much to the displeasure of the fans. D
Redd Dogg downed Wild Bill White in a short match. White came out with some fight and gained the upper hand but Dogg countered a backdrop with a piledriver and then wasted no time in putting away his opponent with a BLACKOUT. D
Marty Jannetty & Scott Taylor defeated Hollywood Knights (“Pretty Boy” Bobby Heenan & Lenny Lane) w/Rock Riddle by disqualification. Morgan Dollar tosses out Riddle before the bell and the fans love it. Heenan and Lane show some composure however and take the fight to Jannetty cutting him off from his corner. The action falls outside where the Knights double up on Jannetty which causes Dollar to quickly make the disqualification. The Knights lay the boots to Jannetty and Taylor leaving them in a heap in the ring. *
Diamond Dallas Page bested Frank Dalton by count-out Page had the fans behind him as he made his way through the fans to the ring to a huge ovation. Dalton was not phased and took control of the action. Page came back and then took the fight outside. Dalton and Page ended up brawling on the floor and Dalton backdropped Page back into the ring just as Dollar reached the count of ten. Dalton is furious and tries take his frustration out on Page but eats a DIAMOND CUTTER for his trouble. * ½
Foreign Legion (Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff) w/Shawn Daivari bested Harley Race & Larry Hennig. Sheik & Volkoff earn some serious heat from the fans. Some serious brawling between these four men as you would expect. Race shows off his skills when he nails Volkoff with back to back VERTICAL SUPLEXES but could not get the victory. Hennig tags in but allows Volkoff to get the tag to Sheik who catches Hennig with a kick to the stomach with a loaded boot and then traps Henning in a CAMEL CLUTCH for the submission. Race is not pleased with the result and neither are the fans. **
Gorgeous George w/Cherie Dupré beat “Cowboy” Scott Casey. Casey came to ringside with payback on his mind and the fans solidly behind him. Epic heat for George as he “prepares” for the match and Morgan Dollar has stern words for both men. George takes a thrashing early on and the fans eat it up. Casey even hits a BULLDOG but can only get a 2 ¾ count from Dollar. The fight goes outside and manages to take out the leg of Casey with a chair in a similar attack as the last card. Casey somehow survives a SPINNING TOE HOLD making the ropes but George is able to use a small package with tights to score the controversial win. The fans are not pleased and the heat even gets more intense with Heenan, Lane and Riddle hit the ring and join George for a beat down on Casey but Jannetty & Taylor arrive with chairs to make the save. ** ½
Rob Van Dam defeated Lou Thesz by disqualification. Van Dam barely made it through the opening moments of the match as Thesz came out with back to back GRECO-ROMAN BACKDROPS early on but could not get the three count. Van Dam picked up the pace and scored a near fall with a body scissors cradle. Van Dam dives out onto Thesz at ringside but Thesz catches, spins him in an airplane spin and slams him through the ringside table. The fans are on their feet chanting. Thesz is back outside but Van Dam can barely stand but manages to grab a chair. Thesz easily takes the weapon and cracks Van Dam with it. Dollar calls for the disqualification and Thesz is clearly frustrated with himself. **

Bit of a shocking finish to what had the potential to be a very exciting matchup between RVD and Thesz... Here's hoping Thesz can keep those emotions in check going forward... Fun show!

The Bundy loss doesn't surprise me as I once had a match where S.D. Jones headbutted him all over the ring before pinning him!

Good stuff, BB. The new style works nicely and will probably save on burnout.

I agree with TTX, nice changes to the results style which should help you out. I know that feeling my friend which was why I changed up mine. RVD vs. Thesz was great despite the DQ finish and Ron Hutchison over King Kong Bundy was a shocker. Great stuff as usual bookerbill.
