Good to see Frank Dalton get a main event spot in Austin although he and his teammates didn't fare too well in the end. Rob Van Dam with a huge win over Bruiser Brody in the semi-final. Hopefully RVD can build on that as beating Brody clean is a real accomplishment. Some nice action underneath as well, especially Volkoff over Animal and Rock Riddle picking up a big win over Jannetty, albeit by count out.

The crowd was treated to some great action... Especially the brutal conflict between RVD and Brody... An encounter which simply begs for a rematch...
Also quite impressed with Redd Dogg, who gained a nice upset victory over Bundy... And DDP reminds everyone that the Diamond Cutter remains one of the most dangerous moves in the biz...
Excellent stuff!

Thanks for the feedback everyone.
Card 11 (ULC on Fox) Amway Centre, Orlando, Florida – Feb 24
Angelo Poffo pinned Ron Hutchinson. Morgan Dollar had lengthy instructions for both men and the contest was very evenly fought for the most part with the fans backing the Canadian Hutchinson from the outset. Poffo took control and uses a snap mare to set up a back elbow smash that dropped Hutchinson for the pin. * ½ Marty Jannetty & Scott Taylor bested Lou Albano & Bruiser Costa by disqualification. Albano managed to counter Taylor’s early advantage with a backdrop to the floor and when Taylor regained the ring, Costa blasted him with a foreign object that Morgan Dollar was able to see earning Costa a disqualification. D
Blue Meanie downed Wild Bill White. White dominated the action from outset but aside from a near submission from a scorpion death lock was not able to get in a position to finish his opponent. It was costly as Meanie drew on the fans support and connected with a tackle rebounding off the ropes late in the bout and went on the offensive. A DDT only got a two count from Morgan Dollar but a neckbreaker was enough to get the win. * ½
The Taylors (Chaz Taylor & Tugboat Taylor) over Hollywood Knights (“Pretty Boy” Bobby Heenan & Lenny Lane) w/Rock Riddle by disqualification. Tugboat Taylor overpowered Heenan early on but the Knights were able to cut off Chaz Taylor after Heenan stunned him with a huge near fall with an inside cradle. The Knights tagged in and out several times battering Taylor. Riddle also took the opportunity to choke out Taylor from the floor but was caught by Morgan Dollar who quickly called for the bell. Tugboat then cleared the ring sending the Knights retreating the back. * ½
Madison Rayne destroyed Malia Hosaka. Despite winning over the fans, Hosaka was no match for a fired-up Rayne tonight and mounted zero offense. Hosaka kicked out after a Rayne Drop twice but a RAYNE CHECK ended it. D
In a Texas Tornado Match, Frank Dalton & Ted DiBiase defeated Diamond Dallas Page & Hacksaw Jim Duggan. The action was nearly impossible to follow in this one as all four men battled all over the arena at various times. DiBiase looked very impressive early on but could not put away Page with a COBRA CLUTCH. Page and Duggan made a strong comeback brawling back with the fans behind every blow. Page unleashed his DIAMODN CUTTER to both DiBiase and Dalton but a pin save was made both times and the action continued. DiBiase was saved from a FLYING SPEAR as well. Page appeared to have DiBiase beat after a face-first piledriver but Dalton made the save and then nailed Page with an ATOMIC DROP for the three count. *** ½
Shawn Daivari bested Paul Ellering. The action was heated between these two from the outset as the loser would be barred from ringside for the upcoming World Tag Team Title Match between Foreign Legion and Road Warriors. Daivari looks impressive early on but Ellering mounts an impressive comeback and had Daviari beat after a NECKBREAKER but Nikolai Volkoff interfered to keep his manager alive. The appearance of Volkoff brought out the Road Warriors who chased the big Russian to the back. The action carried on and Daivari was able to run Ellering into the ringside table and then put him away with WMD. **
Harley Race, Buddy Rogers & “Macho Man” Randy Savage downed World Champion Bobo Brazil, Lou Thesz & Rob Van Dam. Some unreal back and forth action was featured in this contest from start to finish. Savage was clearly driven to get at Brazil and they started the action off much to the delight of ringside. Both sides soon made changes and Van Dam hit his FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH to Race but could not get the three count. The action when back and forth with all the competitors seeing prolonged time in the ring. Thesz and Rogers brawling on the floor was a mid match highlight. Rogers found himself cut off from his corner late in the match but he was able to avoid Van Dam’s deathjump smash and tagged out to Race who promptly planted Van Dam with a PILEDRIVER to get the three count. *** ½

That main event in Orlando was amazing, what a collection of talent. I'm with TTX on enjoying that Ted Dibiase & Frank Dalton pairing and that was a big win for them over DDP & Hacksaw Jim Duggan.

Card 12 (ULC 05 – Caged 02) T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas Nevada – March 3, 2018
Gorgeous George w/Cherie Dupré over Jimmy Snuka. After the long antics of George to actually get into the ring, Morgan Dollar decides to send Dupré to the back and George is clearly upset. However, George chooses to take his frustrations out of Snuka and dominates a great deal of the match picking up several near falls and submissions before finally putting away Snuka with a ROLLING HIPLOCK in an impressive performance. * ½
Redd Dogg over Bruiser Brody. The fans were braced for a strong style brawl and that is exactually what the competitors delivered. Brody was vicious in his assault with slams, stomps and punches but Dogg showed he could go blow for blow with foe and added in several spinebusters and STOs as well. Towards the end of the match, Dogg gained the upper hand during a brawl outside and rammed Brody into the ring post busting him open. Dogg was able to capitalize minutes later with a BLACKOUT that nearly ended it but Brody made the ropes. Dogg was not finished and trapped Brody in his finisher a second time and earned the victory. ***
Rob Van Dam defeated Harley Race. Race dominated the early going in this one as Van Dam was more concerned with showboating for the fans than the match itself. Van Dam finally regained some focus and went to work hitting everything in his arsenal including several deathjump smashes and moonsaults. Van Dam scored with a FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH but could not get the three count. Twice Van Dam considered going for a Van Daminator but thought twice and carried on with his legal offense eventually picking up the three count after a second FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH. ** ½
The Legbreakers (The Destroyer & Greg Valentine) bested Double Axe Attack (Larry Hennig & Curt Hennig) by disqualification. This was intense from the opening moments to the end. Larry Hennig nearly had the match won early on with THE AXE to Valentine but Destroyer jumped into the action starting a wild brawl. Later, the Morgan Dollar was taken out for ten moves during which time the Double Axe Attack had the match won several times. Once Dollar was back into the match, things when back and forth in and out of the ring until Curt Hennig body slammed Destroyer through a ringside table which results in a disqualification. ***
Buddy Rogers downed Lou Thesz by disqualification. Things turned violent almost right away in this one when Thesz dragged his opponent to the floor and fired him into the ring post busting him open. Thesz continued the beating in the ring with punches to the ribs and kicks to the leg. He then worked the arm of Rogers. The Nature Boy came back running Thesz into the ringside table but was not able to maintain the advantage for long. The finish came with both me outside. Rogers grabbed a chair to clock Thesz but Thesz turned the tables, gaining control of the weapon and using it on Rogers. Morgan Dollar had seen enough and called for the bell. **
Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal) defeated World Tag Team Champions Foreign Legion (Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff) w/Shawn Daivari by disqualification: The verbal assault of Sheik, Daviari and Volkoff appears to shake up Morgan Dollar before the match but that does not bother the challengers who set to work right away with a power attack on Sheik including a gorilla press slam by Hawk and a blatant choke from Animal. Volkoff gets into the action and settles things down but the Warriors counter by picking up the pace. Both sides make tags and we end up with Sheik and Animal brawling on the floor. Daivari gets into the action cracking Animal across the back with a chair shot which earns the champions a disqualification. Both teams brawl after the match. The Warriors are joined by Paul Ellering and clean house. * ½
“Macho Man” Randy Savage beat World Champion Bobo Brazil. Brazil looked impressive with his size and power early on but Savage soon picked up the pace of the match and took control starting with a flying axhandle to the outside. Savage attacked with everything and for everywhere at an incredible pace. Three times a FLYING ELBOW SMASH connected but Brazil kicked out each time bringing ringside to a boil. Brazil was finally able to mount a comeback but it was brief and did not Savage anywhere near defeat. The match ended when Savage caught Brazil with a running knee to the back knocking him to the mat for the final time to capture the title ** ½ Ted DiBiase & Frank Dalton over Diamond Dallas Page & Hacksaw Jim Duggan in a Steel Cage Match. Dalton pressed the action early against Duggan and then gave way to DiBiase but Duggan stormed back including a spinning body slam. Page entered the action but DiBiase was able to counter a clothesline in the corner with one of his own. Page never really recovered and DiBiase softened Page up with a Scorpion Death Lock and then used a COBRA CLUTCH to put Page away. *
World Champion: Randy Savage 1. Bobo Brazil 2. Buddy Rogers 3. Lou Thesz 4. Rob Van Dam 5. Harley Race

Looks like DiBiase and Dalton ate on a heck of a run... DDP and Duggan might want to rethink this partnership... Things have not been going their way...
Totally stoked that RVD was able to get a bit of revenge against Race for the outcome of that six man main event on the previous show...
Big win for Savage against the reigning champ... Can only assume this will lead to Macho Man getting a title shot in the near future...
Awesome stuff, as always!
