All I have to say is...10 drinks at the bar, paid for one.
Great to have several first timers and meeting Ray DeGarmo in person.
KButcher, you can thank me for arriving late to the Canada Cup.
And Mike...what's up with milk in a bag?
Yeah, memories.

Not to take this thread over completely from the Necro Butcher topic, but thank you to *everybody* for a fantastic time! I went in not exactly knowing what to expect, especially toting two COTG rookies along with me. However, I was very pleasantly surprised, but not only the general fun of the con, but also how easy going and friendly everybody was. Matt, Greg, and I spent much of the trip home talking about the con and we plan for coming to next year's con no matter what... and this time bringing the entire Team Boston roster ;D

What a truely great weekend, but a total whirlwind. Friday Night was awesome, especially with Dylan "Necro Butcher" showing up and winning the LOTF tourney.
Everything on Saturday went fine, with the exception of our Wireless Internet service going out at 1PM and us not getting it back all day. Luckily the new items were put up just in time in the online store for those who were very eager to order.
I think Sunday at Friendly's went very well, but we'll see what we want to do for next year on Sunday.
If any attendees have suggestions for next year let me know (I already have a few good ones). For those who didn't make it, next year will be absolutely HUGE! So we want you to be in Jamestown, no matter how long it takes.

It was a lot of fun. I'm enjoying my trivia belt. BTW, though Friendly's was all right, it was just too cramped with everyone basically on top of each other.

The big thing IMO is that Sunday should be at the college.
Sunday was always 12-3pm and we had the Canada Cup and Trivia Finals plus other tournaments.
You can't be at a restaurant for more than 2 hours and you have to order, eat, talk to people and play tournaments. It's a little cramped -- both space and time wise. It wasn't bad but at the college was better.
I liked the Trivia Battle Royal. I think that should stay.
Another one of my concerns (and there weren't that many, Todd did a good job overall) is that as of 7:00pm on Saturday, we had only played 1 tournament.
That's how you get to know people (especially for the newcomers).
The time schedule should be followed (as close as possible) otherwise why put it in there?
And I think the we should only have Q & A with Tom. No disrespect but the GWF set is the focal point of the Con. Now with the website and the message boards, Kris and Mark can get info to us that way. I think we just did a little too much talking and not enough playing.
GalactiCup tournament should only be GWF guys. It always was.
Also, I think to help free up Todd, there should be only certain times set up to purchase merchandise. I felt bad for Todd who always had to keep right by the merch. table all day on Saturday.
Maybe the 1st 2 hours, and the last hour on Saturday, or place your order when you get there and Todd will bring it to you on Sunday like Tom used to. (New releases obviously should be available right away.)
Just my 2 cents. I had a great time as always and can't wait until GalactiCon '09 -- the 20th G-Con!!!!

How was Galacticon this year? Did you like the Kevin Wible card that I created for him this year? Tom's official color card has been pushed back to be released later this year. Kevin
