A great night in Jamestown!
I am not much of a CotG player, so if you're looking for the scoop on the new set, I can't help you.
BUT...
An unexpected surprise on the LoW side of the house, with the unnanounced arrival of NECRO BUTCHER himself!
As it turns out, Necro lives just a couple of hours away and decided to bring his wife along to the Friday night gathering. He shared some stories about his experiences, autographed cards, and took pictures.
THEN... an impromptu "Legends of the Future" tournament took place! Mrs. Necro was very interested in seeing the game in action, so Tournament Todd provided a LotF set and drew up some brackets, and away we go!
Long story short, the tournament was won by... NECRO BUTCHER! Playing his own card, he defeated Delirious (Mrs. Necro), then beat Kevin Wible in round 2, to advance to the semis against Claudio Castagnoli, managed by yours truly! Necro dispatched Claudio with a series of headbutts, then won in the finals against Jim Steele (Sam Hayne) with a Death Valley Driver onto the ring bell!
What a cool surprise. G-Con is off to a great start!
