Ah the symptathy for the poor protesters. Seriously?! What a bunch of junk. They scream about the evils of big corporations but freely use iPads and similar devices. They want EVERYTHING FREE without having to work. Sorry kids, but you can get a job, pay for health insurance and pay for student loans--I have done it and I am not a 1 percenter. And as veteran I have no respect for anyone who can condemn vets and the work they have done and then fall behind free speech. I have a few suggestions on how to resolve this problem, but don't want Chewey barking at me.

Why wasn't this brought up before, then? The idea that the Constitution is perishable also comes as news to me, but whatever. The issue is with this bill and things like SOPA getting talked about, all that "free communication" may not be so free or open if the people in charge ultimately have their way. Go to China or Egypt and see how effective mass Internet communication is there.

Sometimes a stiff punch to the nose is the only way to get some people's attention. You can agree or disagree with their tactics or ideals or arguments, but I think this is sort of the Occupiers' very point.

Sometimes a stiff punch to the nose is the only way to get some people's attention. Get these jerks off the streets, throw them in cells and let them protest that. The bitching and moaning about free speech oh man, stop. Just stop with that shit. They just don't want mobs gathering and wasting everyone's time with their crabby bullshit attitude's. It's a big problem. Is that so hard to accept? It's a safety issue if nothing else. Talk about mountains out of molehills. So if you protest, you're a chimpanzee. But, if you punch someone in the face, you're a modern gentleman? Is it possible that a gathering of people in a public place to raise awareness of whatever issue could also be considered a metaphorical punch on the nose? I didn't agree with the arguments of the Tea Party protests. I was annoyed about constantly hearing about them or seeing them. I didn't want them arrested for just demonstrating. I wish I could be as trusting of elected officials as you are, but I just can't. We're all humans, and if people are capable of gathering in large groups and maliciously causing "safety issues", then people are capable of abusing an easily abusable law. Maybe it would have been better for MLK to get run over by a tank, that way he wouldn't have been shot.

I didn't know the Occupiers had a point besides spreading the joys of anarchy and the benefits of the hightened sense of entitlement.

I guess they weren't out in public, getting in people's faces, annoying people?

WOrk is just too much well, work.

I am not sure where this became about Occupiers putting forth enough energy or ambition to punch anyone.

This isn't just about Occupy. It's about any protesters, whatever they're protesting.
