In the Main Event of the Evening, Obariyon and Kodama look to make their second defense of the Campeones De Parejas as they step into the ring against Blk Out. Eddie Kingston and Blk Jeez took down three teams in one match to earn the shot, can they take out the champs to secure the straps, or will Cube's demonic duo retain?


In a battle of two teams with two points, Dasher Hatfield and Sugar Dunkerton of The Throwbacks step into the ring against Amasis and Ophidian of The Osirian Portal. One team will leave with a title shot at Chikarasaurus Rex, while the other will go home with nothing.


Ultramantis Black has vowed to wipe out the forces of Dr. Cube and drive him from Chikara. He will get to take a step toward that goal, as he steps into the ring with the mysterious, 17.


In Trios action, El Generico, Scott Parker, and Shane Matthews reform 3.Ole to take on Icarus, Johnny Gargano, and Chuck Taylor of FIST.


In 4 way tag team action with points on the line, The Young Bucks will take on Mike Quackenbush & The Shard, AssailANT & DeviANT of The Swarm, and Fire Ant & Soldier Ant of The Colony

I am working on the card right now, and all I will say is.....the Injury Bug is being a real asshole this weekend!!

I am not sure when Cube will reveal his "General" but when he does, the world of Chikara will be turned upside down!!

-The 10th Show of Season 12-
-The Burden Hardest to Bear-

Leonard F. Chikarason, the ambassador to the Director of Fun came to the ring and apologized to the crowd for the shuffling of the night's event due to injuries. He also announced that Championship Wrestling from Hollywood would be sending a team to compete at King of Trios, and their representatives would be Joey Ryan, Willie Mack, and Brian Cage!


1) FIST vs 3.Ole

This was a fairly even match for the opening ten or so minutes, then FIST took control and worked Scott Parker over unrelentingly for several minutes. He would finally make the tag to Shane Matthews after rocking Icarus with an enzuigiri. Matthews had head scissors available for every member of FIST, and accidentally gave one to El Generico as well! After that, the match broke down into chaos with all six men fighting one another. Icarus decided to invoke a lesson from heel tactics 101, and poured a bag of powder into his hand, intending to blind the out of control Shane Matthews. An El Generico kick from below would knock the powder of the hands of Icarus and into his own eyes. Blinded, he kicked the next man he felt in the gut and dropped them with a pedigree. Unfortunately for Icarus, that man was Johnny Gargano. A second El Generico kick would send the blinded Icarus out of the ring, as Parker blocked Chuck Taylor, and Matthews pinned Gargano.

Winners: 3.Ole

Chuck Taylor could be heard asking "What Happened" as he checked on his fallen partner. Icarus having gotten his bottle of water from the corner and cleared out his eyes, could only stare as the realization of who he pedigree'd dawned on him.


2) Gran Akuma vs CombatANT vs The Mysterious and Handsome Stranger vs Frightmare

Elimination #1: The injury bug that attacked Chikara last night continues, as The Mysterious and Handsome Stranger leap frogs Gran Akuma and lands awkwardly on his leg. He crashes to the mat and Referee Dan Yost after conferring with him, calls for help from the back. A slew of officials and refs head to the ring and carry The Stranger to the back.

The Mysterious and Handsome Stranger has been eliminated.

Elimination #2: As Stranger is being carried to the back, CombatANT Pearl Harbors Gran Akuma. CombatANT does not let up, blasting Akuma with forearms, headbutts, and knee strikes. He hoists him up and delivers the TKO, but Akuma manages to kick out at two and a half. A sit out gut-wrench powerbomb does the trick as Dan Yost counts the three.

Gran Akuma has been eliminated.

Elimination #3: Frightmare came in flying all over the place, but one well placed forearm to the mouth put CombatANT in firm control. A series of power moves, and one TKO later, he covered Frightmare for the impressive win.

Frightmare has been eliminated.

Winner: CombatANT


3) Green Ant vs "Mr. Touchdown" Mark Angelosetti

Green Ant offered a handshake to start the match, which Touchdown only took after much posturing. Green Ant immediately dazzled the rookie with his technical wizardry, getting several submission holds on Angelosetti which forced him to crawl to the ropes time and time again. Touchdown gained control after holding onto the ropes during an Irish whip, causing Green Ant to miss a dropkick. Touchdown dominated for several minutes, but took time to strike a football pose, during which Green Ant again tied him up in a submission. From that point on it was all Green Ant who eventually hooked the Chikara Special Green and forced Mr. Touchdown to tap out.

Winner: Green Ant

After the match, Angelosetti spiked his football hard to the mat sending it sailing into the fans in attendance. When the fans passed it around, keeping it from, he yelled that all of the fans were a bunch of nerds and stormed to the back.


4) The Young Bucks vs The Swarm vs Mike Quackenbush & The Shard vs The Colony

Elimination #1: At the 11 minute mark, The Shard drilled AssailANT with not one, but two Shard Super Kicks's and covered him for the pinfall.

The Swarm have been eliminated.

Elimination #2: At the 19 minute mark, The Colony connected with Ants Go Marching on Matt Jackson and Fire Ant covered him for One, Two, Three.

(Matt had to be helped to the back by his brother Nick as he was heavily favoring his right ankle.)

The Young Bucks have been eliminated.

Elimination #3: At the 26 minute mark, The Colony connected with Ants Go Marching on Mike Quackenbush and Fire Ant covered him for the fall and the win.

Mike Quackenbush & The Shard have been elimninated.

The Colony have 2 Points toward title contention.


Intermission followed, and as it ended Eddie Kingston and Blk Jeez came to the ring. Kingston grabbed the microphone and said that no matter what happens tonight, their good friend Ruckus will be joining them, and that The Blk Out is going to win King of Trios!!


5) Ultramantis Black vs 17

This started very tentatively with both men feeling one another out. Once it got going, both men swapped control back and forth several times. The end came when Referee Jon Barber was knocked down after 17 ducked an Ultramantis Black clothesline. 17 then twisted the mask of Ultramantis Black around sideways and blasted him in the face with a Shotei. He then used the QD3 to plant Mantis into the mat, and covered him just as Barber recovered and counted the One, Two, Three.

Winner: 17

After the match Ultramantis Black protested to Jon Barber about what happened. He then noticeably limped to the dressing room spouting that he was going to end Dr. Cube sooner than later.


6)The Osirian Portal vs The Throwbacks

Sugar Dunkerton took the early advantage against the smaller Ophidian and dominated him for several minutes. Dasher was tagged in and continued the domination, then did something slightly out of character and scaled the top rope. Ophidian followed him up, and after a struggle nailed him with a huge frankensteiner from the top rope. Ophidian quickly locked in the Death Grip in the dead center of the ring. Amasis was quick to bolt across the ring and drop Dunkerton to the floor with a dropkick. Dasher struggled valiantly to reach the ropes, and although he never tapped out, Bryce Remsburg checked his arm, and he was out.

The Osirian Portal have 3 Points toward title contention!!


7) Jigsaw vs Jakob Hammermeier - Non-Title

Jigsaw started off strong, using his years of experience to control the younger Hammermeier. Jakob however made a come back after reversing out of a German suplex attempt and hitting Guten Nacht which got him a close two count. He went on to take control and work over Jigsaw for several minutes until Jig ducked under a clothesline attempt and hit Jakob with a superkick. Momentum went back and forth several more times, until the twenty two minute mark when Jigsaw blasted Hammermeier with another Superkick that staggered Jakob backwards into the ropes. Jigsaw moved forward to grab him for something, but on instinct Jakob lashed out with a huge right hand that sent Jigsaw straight to the mat. Jakob collapsed half out of it on top of Jigsaw and Dan Yost counted One, Two, Three!!

Winner: Jakob Hammermeier

When Jakob finally made it to his feet, the Chikarmy went absolutely nuclear cheering for him. Jigsaw was even slower to his feet, and even though his face was covered you could sense the disappointment. He extended his hand to Hammermeier anyhow, and Jakob accepted it. Jigsaw raised his hand into the air, and then ducked out of the ring so that Jakob could savor his moment.


Before the main event, Leonard F. Chikarason came to the ring and made two announcements concerning next month's Chikarasaurus Rex show. Announcement number one was that for the first time ever we would be seeing the "30 Man Chikara Past, Present, and Future, Last Man Standing, Every Man for Himself, Locked, Stocked, and Loaded, Smothered, Covered, and Stuffed, Buff, Cut, Ripped, Chiseled, and Jacked, Super Fun Time, Over the Top Rope, Giant Size, Royal Battle Rumble Shootout Royale"

The second announcement was that in the Main Event of the show, Jigsaw would defend the Chikara Grand Championship against the man who pinned him in a 4 way match last month, 2 Cold Scorpio, and the man who took him to his limit and then went on to win the same 4 way, Green Ant!


8) The Batiri vs Eddie Kingston & Blk Jeez - Campeones De Parejas

Fall #1: Blk Jeez absolutely decimated Kodama in the early portion of the match. Numerous near falls later, Kodama managed to make a tag and Obariyon went to work on Blkz Jeez. A nasty wrist clutch exploder nearly got three for Obariyon, but Jeez kicked out. A minute later, Jeez countered an Obariyon clothesline with a forward roll and tagged in Kingston. Eddie wasted no time, running through Obariyon with a Yakuza kick, knocking Kodama off the apron, and covering Obariyon for the One, Two, Three.

Fall #2: Ten minutes into the fall, The Batiri looked to have locked things up when Kodama nailed Jeez with the Flying Blockbuster, but Eddie Kingston managed to break up the fall. Obariyon hit the ring and began brawling with Kingston, and both men ended up on the floor. Jeez had time to recover and surprised Kodama with a brutal kick to the face. He then scaled the ropes and destroyed him with the Blk Jeez stomp. Bryce Remsburg turned back to the action after giving up on trying to stop the floor brawl and counted the One, Two, Three.

A bad weekend for Chikara, that saw three injuries on the first show of the weekend, and three more on night two of the double shot.

Matt Jackson of The Young Bucks hurt his ankle in a four way tag team match, and while the severity of the injury is not known, Nick Jackson promised on Twitter that The Young Bucks would be back for King of Trios which is a month and a half away.

Ultramantis Black tweaked his knee during his match with 17, but the injury is said to not be serious, and Mantis should miss little if any time.

The worst injury of the weekend occurred when The Mysterious and Handsome Stranger landed badly after leap frogging Gran Akuma. Multiple sources have told us that The Stranger has torn his ACL and is likely looking at a nine or ten month recovery time.

2) 17 vs The Shard

Before the match began, 17 lounged on the ropes and taunted Shard who was pacing back and forth, anxious to get at the man wearing the costume of his former teammate. When the bell rang, 17 took advantage of Shard's reckless charge at him, hitting a drop toe hold and immediately going to work on wear down submissions. 17 switched beautifully from move to move, but when The Shard finally broke free, 17 was in trouble. Shard's assault was relentless, a hammering clothesline to the back of the head nearly knocked 17 out. A leaping double stomp to his sternum brought him back to reality, only to be blasted with a Shard Super Kick, which was followed by a seated Yakuza Kick, and a Brainbuster. Shard covered his masked opponent for the One, Two, Three.

Winner: The Shard


3) FIST vs Irish Airborne

Chuck Taylor and Johnny Gargano could barely get out of the box in this one as the Airborne were all over them from the opening bell. Jake worked over Chuck Taylor for several minutes and got several near falls on him. Chuck managed a reversal into Sole Food and made the tag to Gargano, but unfortunately for FIST, Gargano did no better. Before being pinned he ate two Head and Arm Trap DDT's, but the Irish Air Raid was too much for him, and that was all she wrote.

Irish Airborne have 2 Points toward title contention.


4) El Generico vs "Mr. Touchdown" Mark Angelosetti

Neither man wasted any time in this one, going right after one another. Generico controlled early, using his speed and years of experience to keep Angelosetti off balance. A corner Yakuza kick put Touchdown on his back, and he barely reached the ropes on the count. The tide turned late in the match when Angelosetti caught El Generico with an inverted atomic drop off a leapfrog attempt. Mr. Touchdown would go on to dominate Generico for several minutes and scored many near falls. The end finally came when Generico reversed an Irish whip and sent Angelosetti into the corner. Generico charged in with a Yakuza kick, but Angelosetti moved and Generico crashed into the buckle. Touchdown grabbed him and planted him with the Extra Point. Referee Jon Barber counted the One, Two, Three.

Winner: "Mr. Touchdown" Mark Angelosetti

After the match El Generico got to his feet clutching the back of his head. He went toward Mr. Touchdown and offered his hand in a show of respect. Angelosetti acted as if he was going to shake it, then walked right by Generico, loudly calling him a nerd.


Intermission followed, and just as it ended, tonight's challenger for the Chikara Grand Championship, 2 Cold Scorpio came to the ring. He announced that no matter what happens tonight, he is coming to King of Trios next month, and he isn't coming alone. He said that The Extreme Trio was coming not to compete, but to win King of Trios and with "The War Machine" Rhino, and ROB VAN DAM by his side, that victory was almost guaranteed!!


5) The Swarm vs Ultramantis Black & Frightmare

A very back and forth battle between two teams who despise one another. Ultramantis beat DeviANT from post to post in the opening minutes of the match. Once tags were made, the larger AssailANT did the same to Frightmare. Several tags from both teams, as well as several near falls. The end finally came when Ultramantis hit a Cactus clothesline on DeviANT sending them both out of the ring. Frightmare nailed a charging AssailANT with a dropkick to the knee that dropped him, and then two consecutive Fright Crushers that were enough to keep him down for the three count.

Winners: Ultramantis Black & Frightmare

CombatANT and Kobald were out quickly from the back to attempt an assault on Mantis and Frightmare, but the Envoy members were able to slide out the other side of the ring. Dr. Cube took center ring and grabbed the microphone.

"Ultramantis Black!! You continue to be a thorn in the side of the great Dr. Cube!! My goal to claim Chikara as my own will never be accomplished so long as you continue to meddle in my affairs! Therefore, I have a challenge for you! In the tenth month of each year, Chikara has an event where two teams of eight men battle for supremacy, until ultimately only one man stands triumphant. It just so happens that the army of Dr. Cube has eight soldiers, so I am challenging you Ultramantis Black....to meet the army of Dr. Cube in Torneo Cibernetico!! Three months, you will have three months to find seven men willing to stand beside you to fight my legions. Before you answer me Mantis, contemplate my final stipulation. If you or any member of your team can be the final winner of the Cibernetico, I, DR. CUBE will leave Chikara FOREVER!!! But if....no....when....a member of MY army becomes the survivor of the Cibernetico....YOU...ULTRAMANTIS BLACK WILL LEAVE CHIKARA FOREVER!!! SO, DO YOU ACCEPT MY CHALLENGE OH GREAT AND DEVIOUS ONE!!!!

On the floor, a laughing Ultramantis Black slowly nods his head YES!!!


6) Jakob Hammermeier vs Tim Donst

Jakob comes quickly to the ring and begins to pace as the music of Tim Donst plays. The music finishes and Tim Donst does not appear. Gavin Loudspeaker announces Donst a second time, and again the music plays, and again no Donst. Leonard F. Chikarason comes to the ring and tells Bryce Remsburg that the Director of Fun wants him to ring the bell and count Tim Donst out. Bryce begins to count, and once he reaches eleven, the curtain parts and out steps Tim Donst.

Donst looks terrible, his tights dirty as if he had been wearing them since we last saw him. His face unshaven, covered by a patchy beard, and his hair longer than when we last saw him and greasy. He walks slowly, finally sliding into the ring as Bryce hit nineteen.

Jakob charged at Donst, who immediately went back out to the floor. Bryce stopped a massively frustrated Jakob from following and again began to count Donst out. Bryce was so focused on counting Donst out that he did not immediately see the two men hit the ring and attack Jakob Hammermeier from behind. A smile crept across the face of Tim Donst as he slid back in the ring and joined Vin Gerard and Stigma in laying the boots to a fallan Jakob. Bryce quickly called for the DQ as the three men continued to stomp a helpless Hammermeier.

Bryce attempted to intervene, but Stigma tossed him out of the ring and to the floor. Stigma and Donst continued to stomp Jakob as Gerard snatched the microphone from the hands of Gavin Loudspeaker as he tried to announce the DQ. Gerard uttered a single word "Unstable" before dropping the microphone and going back to attacking Jakob. Help would finally come in the form of Mike Quackenbush and a steel chair, running the Unstable out of the ring and allowing doctors and officials to come and check on the fallen Jakob.

7) Eddie Kingston & Blk Jeez vs The Osirian Portal



Fall #1: After a back and fort start that saw frequent tags from both teams, at the seventeen minute mark, Amasis pinned Blk Jeez after The Portal connected with not one, but two Osirian Sacraments.

Fall #2: Eddie Kingston came in like a man possessed and obliterated Ophidian with a Yakuza kick. He then dropped "The Osirian Assassin" on his head with a backdrop driver. Amasis tried to interfere, but caught a Backfist to the Future. Ophidian made it back to his feet in time to eat one of his own, and Kingston covered Ophidian for the One, Two, Three.

Eddie Kingston & Blk Jeez win Fall #2

Fall #3: The match continued for several minutes, and then things got weird. The Portal went for something we hadn't seen from them in quite some time, using the Snake Charmer on Blk Jeez. Jeez was commanded to dance by Ophidian, and Amasis even took a moment to do a dance move of his own, before we were reminded that this was a new Osirian Portal. A version of Total Elimination turned Blk Jeez inside out, and then Ophidian launched himself at Kingston knocking him off the apron. Amasis drug Jeez to his feet and planted him with the Egyptian Conniption and got the One, Two, Three.

8) Jigsaw vs Green Ant vs 2 Cold Scorpio



Jigsaw and Green Ant started the match and exchanged holds for several minutes. Jigsaw got whipped into the turnbuckle hard, but came out with nasty lariat that turned Green Ant a 360 in the air. Fortunately for him, Green Ant got to the floor. 2 Cold came in and he and Jigsaw began their own exchange. At the twelve minute mark, Jigsaw whipped 2 Cold Scorpio into the ropes. Jigsaw ducked down for a back body drop, but 2 Cold had momentum and went for a sunset flip. Jigsaw was somehow able to stop that momentum and catch 2 Cold half way into the move and drill him with the Jig 'N' Tonic for the One, Two, Three.

2 Cold Scorpio has been Eliminated.

Green Ant and Jigsaw went at it tooth and nail for an additional twenty six minutes. Numerous near falls, near submissions, and This is Awesome chants later the end came when Green Ant ducked a Jigsaw superkick, and swept his legs out from underneath him. Green Ant crossed his legs over for the Goodluck Clover Leaf, but Jigsaw reached up and scooped him into a small package for the One, Two, Thre....NO!!! Green Ant kicked out!!! Jigsaw blasted Green Ant with a superkick when he was only half way off the canvas. Jigsaw then scooped him up and planted him with the Jig 'N' Tonic for the One, Two, Thr.....NO!!! GREEN ANT KICKED OUT!!! Jigsaw holds two fingers up at referee Bryce Remsburg then grabs his head in disbelief. Jigsaw yanks Green Ant to his feet and hoists him up for the Brainbuster....BUT GREEN ANT SHIFTS HIS WEIGHT AND ROLLS JIGSAW UP.....ONE....TWO.....NO!!!!!

Jigsaw gets to his feet and plows another superkick into the face of Green Ant. Jigsaw then holds two fingers in the air, hoists Green Ant up and annihilates him with a Quackendriver II. Bryce Remsburg counts One, Two, Three.

Green Ant has been Eliminated.


JIGSAW IS STILL THE CHIKARA GRAND CHAMPION!!!!


Mike Quackenbush, The Shard, Soldier Ant, Fire Ant, 2 Cold Scorpio, and numerous others come to the ring and celebrate both men in the ring. The show ends with Green Ant raising the hand of Jigsaw, before Quack and The Shard hoist him onto their shoulders and parade him around the ring.
