This my work in progress Early Classics Fed. Still a number of years to go. I hope to one day knit it together with my 2087 onwards GWF fed. I have pasted it all from Word and I always keep my latest cards at the top of the document so unfortunately it needs to be read from the bottom up on the first post. I hope people enjoy reading, I do like to share my history but it's also nice to have additional backup of my fed on these boards ...

GWF REPORT (2080 CARDS 75 - 78)
Champions:
*GWF Galaxian Champ: Omega
*GWF Tag Champs: The Estorians
Latest News:
Ricken Prince has announced his intention to leave the GWF. Morpheus has shockingly returned to his role talent spotting with Omega. Both men remain massive in-ring rivals and continue to vow never to team up again but they seem to have reached some middle ground. They even squared off in a non-title match to blow out the cobwebs. The crowd was buzzing and were treated to a classic which Omega won. Morpheus was incredibly resilient and ended up battered to the point he needed to be stretchered away injured. Despite his bad injuries he won quite a bit of respect back by fighting through the pain barrier at GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS 5. The war between Sam and Mangus is reaching a boiling point. They met again in the ring on #75 and Mangus claimed he didn’t mean any ill will and stated he will gladly eat a dish of Sam's choosing to show he is sincere. Sam presented him with a curry dish spiced up to the max. Mangus later in the card again teamed up with Sam but doubled up in pain as a result of the hot curry. In retaliation on Sam's next card Mangus attacked him and threw chilli powder in Sam's face. It then emerged from lab tests on the Cygnusian dish that Mangus had laced it with poison and that Sam was very lucky not to of been more seriously ill. Only Sam's incredible conditioning prevented serious consequences. After Mangus cost Sam his match against Torin Caelum on #76 Sam vowed to stop at nothing until he has run Mangus out of the GWF. True to his words he attacked Mangus with acid at GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS causing a severe eye injury. It is the most violent rivalry in the fed’s short history! Fight Club are on a noteable run. Since hooking up they have won all six of their matches. Despite Morpheus seemingly conspiring against them. They will surely be next in line for a title shot once the Gamemasters have had their shot at the Estorians. Although Star Warrior’s punishing injury has put the Gamemasters pursuit of the tag team belts into doubt! INJURED – Morpheus (5); Mangus (5); Star Warrior (8)
End of Year Awards:
WRESTLER OF THE YEAR – Omega (runner up: Mighty Grogan) TAG TEAM OF THE YEAR – The Estorians (runners up: Gamemasters) MOST POPULAR – Commander Sam (runner up: Mighty Grogan) MOST HATED – Mangus (runner up: Morpheus)

Blood and Grogan beat Hechilles and Caiman after Hechilles got caught in the UPPER CRUSH
Mimic and Jammer wrestled to a double DQ
KO Keller beat Vortex with the TEN COUNT
Tantalis pinned Cosmos
Parsec beat Star Warrior with the ESTORIAN LOCK. Star Warrior later revealed he had badly injured himself during the match jeopardising the Gamemasters run at the titles.
Card 77 – GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS 5 – Niagara Tower Of Lights:
Galaxian champ, Omega, was in incredible form as he handled Mighty Grogan in the hugely anticipated main event. He was charged up from the bell and nailed Grogan with the TOMAHAWK THRUST to grab the win. Afterwards he helped Grogan up and both men shook hands and posed for the crowd to bring the curtains down on a terrific event
Tag champs, the Estorians, held onto their titles over the Crosscurrents with a dominating win via Tantalis laying out Vortex with the SUPERKICK
Fight Club defeated Morpheus and Mangus in a frantic match. KO Keller laid Mangus out with the TEN COUNT after Commander Sam had charged to ringside. The referee was unsighted as Sam threw acid into Mangus’s face. Incredibly the crowd cheered this heinous act
In a wild POW rules match, Paladin Power won an entertaining clash over Defiance via Moonstrike hitting the PALADIN DROP on Jammer. It had been a terrific tussle which hung in the balance as everyone had a go with their finisher
The Gamemasters easily beat the Wind Riders after Cosmos snared Rama in the MASTERLOCK. It was so one-sided Star Warrior didn’t even see any action. The win makes the Gamemasters undisputed top contenders to the tag straps
In a classic match up Hechilles won a brusing battle with Caiman eventually nailing him with THE END to get the pin
Commander Sam punished Mimic finishing him off with SAM’S ATOMIC DROP
Sin defeated Silvar after blasting him with a KNUCKLE SANDWICH.
Card 76 – Niagara Tower Of Lights:
In a non-title match, the Estorians, handed the Crosscurrents with a count-out victory
Torin Caelum beat Commander Sam with CAELUM’S GRIP after Sam was blinded by Mangus invading the match. Mangus through chilli powder in Sam’s face when the ref’s back was turned. Torin Caelum wanting no part of their silly altercation simply took advantage and finished the match off
Defiance beat Paladin Power when Moonstrike was DQ’d against Blood. The two teams have agreed to sign a POW rules match against eachother
Cosmos brought Mighty Grogan’s winning strike to a crashing halt with a count-out win. It’s a big blow for Grogan ahead of his massive match at GALACTIC EXPLOSION. He has looked shakey in his last two matches with Cosmos and Mimic. Could it be nerves?
Caiman beat KO Keller by DQ
Star Warrior defeated Silvar with the CETUS SLEEPER.
Card 75 – Albireo Temple:
(After the shocking illness suffered by Commander Sam after the last card he called for Mangus to confront him again in the ring. Mangus denied any ill will and said he will gladly eat a dish of Sam's choosing to show he is sincere. Prepared for this, Sam presented him with a curry dish spiced up to the max. Mangus sniffed it and then slowly ate a few mouthfuls. He didn’t look too comfortable with the taste but forced it down and patted Sam on the back and agreed again to team up. By the time they teamed up Mangus was still visibly struggling and sweating heavily)
In a non-title match, Omega whipped Morpheus and finished it with the COSMIC WAR DANCE. Morpheus was badly injured such was the beating he took. Omega concerned for his welfare assisted medical staff in stretchering him away
Commander Sam and Mangus beat Defiance by DQ when Mangus throws up all over the referee. Controversially the ref decides to punish Jammer for trying to continue attacking Mangus whilst he is in distress
Hechilles beat Caiman by DQ. The crowd booed the referee’s decision
Torin Caelum easily beat Silvar via CAELUM’S GRIP
The Wind Riders beat The Gamemasters by DQ. Tano was a bloodied mess but was doing well to hang on despite being unable to tag out. As Star Warrior leapt at him with a deathjump he instinctively moved the ref into it’s path. His quick thinking pulled off an unlikely DQ win
Mighty Grogan just about survived against Mimic for a count-out victory.
GWF REPORT (2080 CARDS 71 - 74)
Champions:
*GWF Galaxian Champ: Omega
*GWF Tag Champs: The Estorians
Latest News:
There were shocking scenes from the Albireo Temple as Mangus and Sam appeared to call a truce. First Sam accepted an offering of some of the finest food to be found in the Cygnus system and then they teamed up later in the card. Unfortunately Mangus' gesture may be a hollow one as reports later leaked that Sam had been extremely ill as a result of consuming the Cygnusian dish. Sam had certainly struggled in the latter part of the match. Mangus has denied any wrong doing but admits Sam’s body was probably not used to the food. He even blamed Sam for not helping enough in the match. The pair have agreed to meet again in the ring face to face at the next card. Allegedly a second POW PUNCH UP TOURNAMENT took place in which Jack Hood triumphed. Everyone got out of the hellhole okay apart from injuries to Ricken Prince and Morpheus both suffered at the hands of Jack Hood who eventually won his own tournament! Morpheus incredibly managed to ban Fight Club from the tag team contenders tournament after uncovering documentation filled in incorrectly by Torin Caelum and KO Keller. Naturally the move has caused friction between Morpheus and Torin Caelum. Now that Mangus has returned from exile Morpheus is ready to start tagging with him and wants to sign matches against Fight Club! Looks as if Morpheus is abandoning his fruitless pursuit of the Galaxian title and possibly trying to carve a niche for himself in tag team action in the hope of landing some gold. His attempted tag team link up with Mangus will also no doubt raise the ire of Commander Sam who has a somewhat strained relationship with Mangus at present after the recent ‘peace offerings’ scandal. To the delight of the fans Mighty Grogan has challenged Omega to a main event match at GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS 5 – It’s the match everyone has been clamouring for, Grogan has been sensational since arriving on the scene and at the moment is about the only guy who looks capable of beating the old master. As long as Omega comes through his next title defense still holding the belt the match will be finalised.
Card 74 – Albireo Temple:
(In ring interview took place with Mangus confronting Commander Sam on home territory to call a truce. He told Sam he is tired of their violent brawls and hostilities between Earth & Cygnus saying the Galactic Wars have long been over. Sam is very wary but when Mangus presents Sam with a Cygnusian dish as a peace offering he takes the bait. There is a massive pop from the fans and shockingly Sam and Mangus both agree to team up in an impromptu match later in the card)
Galaxian champ, Omega, made a brilliant comeback to beat Hechilles despite being hit with THE END
The Crosscurrents overcame Commander Sam and Mangus. Unfortunately Sam had started to look unwell in the latter part of the match leaving Mangus to fend on his own
The Wind Riders overcame Defiance after hitting Blood with the DEIMOS DRIVER
Caiman handled Mimic to triumph by count-out
KO Keller won a tremendous match against a bloodied and brave Star Warrior. The veteran acknowledged Star Warrior had given him a real battle tonight
Cosmos impressively topped Tantalis after snapping on the MASTERLOCK.
Card 73 – Phobos Sundome:
Tag Champs, the Estorians, ended Omega and Commander Sam’s run at the belts after Parsec pinned Sam. In a post match interview Omega announced he and Sam would not be further pursuing the titles. Omega probably does not want to get in the way of the Gamemasters who he believes have the potential to win the belts
Morpheus (inj) won a fiery match up against Torin Caelum to remind the watching galaxy of his awesome wrestling credentials. He can still bust heads as a singles wrestler but there are suggestions that he is growing frustrated at being unable to topple Omega and may focus on the tag straps
Mighty Grogan kept up his winning streak with a struggling count-out victory over Mimic. The fans continued their calls for Grogan to challenge Omega for the title at GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS. Surely Omega cannot ignore their wishes
The Wind Riders managed a DQ win over Defiance. A rematch has been signed for the next card. They have really over performed in the GWF, everyone expects them to got lost in the mix as the field strengthens but they are hanging in there picking up wins
Moonstrike overcame Caiman by DQ. It was an impressive performance because Moonstrike had been in dominating form against the former champ
Ricken Prince battered Silvar and easily finished him off with the ROYAL DECREE.
Card 72 – POW PUNCH UP TOURNAMENT – Pleiades M45 Theatre:
(All POW Matches)
First Round:
Morpheus defeated Sin with the TRIP TO HADES
Mangus won a cracker over Bullwhip following THE ANNIHILATOR
Salvation impressively overcame Commander Sam
Jack Hood bludgeoned Ricken Prince with THE RIPPER leaving Ricken Prince injured
Second Round:
Morpheus crushed Mangus with the TRIP TO HADES
Jack Hood progressed to the final after he overcame Salvation with THE RIPPER. Salvation was added to the night’s injured list
Final:
Jack Hood won his own tournament by disposing of Morpheus with THE RIPPER. Morpheus had a bad neck injury as a consequence of the defeat. Once again Jack Hood was making big noises at being allowed to join the GWF!
Card 71 – TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT – Phobos Sundome:
(In ring interview takes place ahead of the tournament matches with Morpheus. He announces that Fight Club have been denied entry to the tournament. Everyone is shocked by their absence)
First Round:
Omega and Commander Sam cruised past Paladin Power when Omega stopped Solar Flare with the TOMAHAWK THRUST
Hechilles and Caiman easily overcame the Wind Riders after Caiman beat Tano with THE HANDICAPPER
The Crosscurrents received a bye after Fight Club no-showed
Defiance beat the Gamemasters when Star Warrior got beaten on outside and counted-out
Second Round:
Omega and Commander Sam annihilated Hechilles and Caiman after nailing Hechilles with the TOMAHAWK THRUST
The Crosscurrents won a wild match over Defiance by DQ
Final:
Omega and Commander Sam won the tournament in a gripping match with the Crosscurrents. Sam was the team’s hero as he polished off Thetis with SAM’S ATOMIC DROP! Can Omega make history and hold both major belts simultaneously for an incredible second time (remember folks Morpheus did achieve that feat but as Morpheus dropped the Galaxian strap in the first official GWF card that record is effectively stricken from the record books)?
GWF REPORT (2080 CARDS 67 - 70)
Champions:
*GWF Galaxian Champ: Omega
*GWF Tag Champs: The Estorians
Latest News:
Jack Hood is still trying to stir things up by issuing Omega a challenge on the last card. Suffice to say Omega immediately told him where to go. Quite how Jack managed to beam his message straight into the Deimos I-G Arena nobody knows. Some are speculating an inside job may of helped him. Jack is determined to keep challenging wrestlers to face him on Pleiades with the promise of big bucks (whether he has the money to back up his claim is another question) and surely there will be more underground cards held on Pleiades again. Jack is even being rumoured to be trying to stage a second POW PUNCH UP TOURNAMENT in the near future but after duping eventual winner Bullwhip on the last one it remains to be seen whether any of the current GWF roster will be brave enough to take part. KO Keller and Torin Caelum have formed a tag team known as Fight Club. With their credentials as former Galaxian champs. This has the potential to be a superstar team in the same mould as Omega and Morpheus’ incredible Guardians team formed at the fed’s inception. Already they have won several matches and will pose a massive threat to the tag titles currently held by the Estorians. And they have a big chance to earn a title shot as Omega has announced a tag team tournament on the next card to win a title shot. He has proclaimed that because the rankings are so tight this is the best way to find new #1 contenders. To round out the numbers he has even decided to join the tournament himself by teaming up with Commander Sam. Seeing this Morpheus immediately wanted to enter the tournament partnering Mangus but Omega refused them entry due to Mangus’ current exile period. Every single attempt Morpheus has at trying to win some gold seems to be going sour. His temper is at boiling point! Draw as follows --- Paladin Power –v– Omega and Commander Sam; Wind Riders –v– Hechilles and Caiman; Crosscurrents –v– Fight Club; Defiance –v– Gamemasters
Card 70 – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
(Jack Hood somehow managed to interupt the card by beaming a live video feed straight onto the plasma screens stationed around the arena. He challenged Omega to come to Pleiades and face him one-on-one. Omega cautiously approached the ring just before his title defense and told the scummy owner that he will never return to the hellhole that was once POW. Jack Hood went crazy and started tearing up the run down office he was based in before the link finally fizzled out!)
Galaxian champ, Omega, won a terrific tussle with Caiman via the COSMIC WAR DANCE. It’s been a good run at trying to regain the strap but Caiman must now move aside for other challengers
Hechilles absolutely crushed Morpheus with THE END to become #2 contender to the Galaxian strap. Morpheus was devastated, he desperately wants to win the gold and write himself into the record books
Ricken Prince won a brutal cage match against Commander Sam with BOW TO THE PRINCE. It’s a blow for Sam who was hoping to add to his recent high profile successes against Mangus and make a title push
Torin Caelum was just too good for Star Warrior and put him away with CAELUM’S GRIP
Mighty Grogan beat Blood by DQ to continue his winning run (now five matches). A rematch between these two will take place in the next few cards
The Wind Riders got the verdict over the Crosscurrents by DQ.
Card 69 – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
In a POW rules match, the Estorians upset Paladin Power when Tantalis pinned Moonstrike to become new tag champs. The sight of their rivals parading around the ring with the tag belts will cut deep into the hearts of the Gamemasters
Morpheus overcame Blood to set up a match against Hechilles on the next card to find the next challenger to the Galaxian belt after Omega’s defense against Caiman on the next card
Fight Club made a comeback to win a thrilling match over the Gamemasters after KO Keller smashed Cosmos with the TEN COUNT. Torin Caelum and KO Keller on paper look probably the most devastating team in the fed and it will surely not be long til they rise to the top of the pile
Hechilles overcame Jammer with THE END and immediately after the match was seen speaking at length to Omega. He seemed to be discussing the possibility of a push towards a title shot
Commander Sam made a triumphant return to the ring with a DQ win over Ricken Prince although without a clean finish a rematch will surely take place which Sam needs to win if he is serious about making a title push
Silvar easily defeated Thetis with the TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER.
Card 68 – Niagara Tower of Lights:
(Commander Sam made an unscheduled appearance to meet with his legions of American fans and sign autographs. After exiling Mangus at GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS 4 he is riding high in the popularity stakes and announced he was going to be making a big assault on the Galaxian title as well as continuing to beat Mangus’ ass all over the galaxy. The fans went absolutely ballistic!)
In a non-title match with POW rules, Paladin Power crushed the Wind Riders after Solar Flare blasted Rama with the PALADIN MISSILE
Hechilles took a major win over Morpheus by count-out to enhance his chances of Omega recognising him as a contender for the Galaxian belt
Caiman bested Blood to earn another crack at the Galaxian title. The croc has a big following in the GWF but even his most ardent followers are not sure if he can pull it off
Mighty Grogan put Jammer away with the UPPER CRUSH. With four straight victories the fans are wondering if anyone can beat this impressive newcomer? Omega perhaps?
Star Warrior impressively topped Ricken Prince via the CETUS SLEEPER to complete a fantastic night for the two Gamemasters
Cosmos won a fantastic bloody battle with Parsec eventually clamping on the MASTERLOCK for the win. It was one of the best matches Cosmos has fought in his short career!
Card 67 – Niagara Tower of Lights:
In a non-title match, Omega won an over-the-top rope challenge against Blood. The fans loved the match concept so maybe a few more of these will get scheduled in the future. Omega looks unbeatable at the moment, the only man he has failed to beat recently is Caiman and even then the croc was fortunate to survive long enough to get the time-limit draw!
The Estorians defeated the Gamemasters after Parsec clamped the ESTORIAN LOCK on Cosmos to become #1 contenders to the tag straps and maintain their superiority over Omega’s fledgling team
Morpheus beat Ricken Prince by DQ in a hugely disappointing match. Ricken Prince is really struggling in the GWF and has never captured the same level of form he once had in the POW apart from one brief run with the tag belts. Ricken Prince has even told those closest to him that he may soon call time on his GWF career!
Mighty Grogan took on his first tough challenge and made it three in a row as he overcame Hechilles. The way this guy has come into the fed in such hot form is amazing. He has definite championship potential and already the fans want him to face Omega to find out who is better!
Fight Club dominated the Crosscurrents to earn a count-out victory
Mimic overcame Silvar by count-out in the undercard match.
GWF REPORT (2079 CARDS 63 - 66)
Champions:
*GWF Galaxian Champ: Omega
*GWF Tag Champs: Paladin Power
Latest News:
Santon the Loner has fled the GWF! Incredibly he handed a note of de-registration to the office of Omega and disappeared. He had looked dis-interested for many months and the final embarrassment against Silvar may have been the last straw. Although a suspected Aethran no-one knows for sure where he has gone. Maybe Pleiades? Maybe to Aethra? Nobody knows! The Mensans are also on their way out. They have been quite unpopular ever since the fed’s inception with their constant whingeing and the loathing only heightened with their alleged involvement in the energy drink scam at GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS 1. They won’t be too missed despite Cordsar’s grovelling to the crowd after their last match! Another tag team break up is the short lived Imperial Alliance team. Mimic continuing his bizarre tradition has dropped his regal image without warning leaving Ricken Prince (who just can’t seem to hold a tag team partner) on his own. Ricken Prince has decided to forget about winning the tag team belts back as a result and has publicly dedicated himself to singles. Obviously Omega is worried by the depleting roster and with Morpheus refusing to return to his role as the fed’s talent spotter he has taken the mantle on and looked close to home to bring in more talent. He has managed to convince a young power lifter from his local district to join. This young man is known as Mighty Grogan and he promises to be a big talent. Despite all these changes to the roster the wrestling publications are all awash with all the news from GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS 4 which was yet another amazing show. Omega dominated all the headlines with his awesome main event win over Caiman to capture the Galaxian belt for an incredible THIRD time! There were many other noteworthy moments, Commander Sam defying his injuries to exile his nemesis Mangus for ten cards and the Estorians winning the first of what promises to be many classic encounters with the Gamemasters. For all the changes to the roster the GWF continues to grow from strength to strength. Granted there have been problems from time to time, not least with the UFSP, but for the time being the GWF remains the ultimate battleground for men to vent their aggressions in a controlled environment without taking sides or fighting as a true hero or villan, bravo!!!
End of Year Awards:
WRESTLER OF THE YEAR – KO Keller (runner up: Omega) TAG TEAM OF THE YEAR – Paladin Power (runners up: Defiance) MOST POPULAR – Omega (runner up: The Gamemasters) MOST HATED – Screw (runner up: Ricken Prince)
Card 66 – Titan Sportatorium:
Galaxian champ, Omega, offered Caiman a chance to win the belt back but a cracking match eventually ended in a time-limit draw
Paladin Power drove the home fans crazy as they regained the tag belts when Solar Flare pinned Jammer
Fight Club blitzed the Crosscurrents with Torin Caelum pinning Vortex
In a POW rules match, Ricken Prince absolutely battered Silvar
Mimic managed to out-fox Tantalis to gain victory
In a tremendous opener, Mighty Grogan eventually finished Cosmos with the UPPER CRUSH after an epic back and forth tussle.
Card 65 – Titan Sportatorium:
Galaxian champ, Omega, beat Tantalis in under 30 seconds!
In a POW rules match, the Mensans upset Paladin Power with Cordsar using the MENSAN LOCK to beat Solar Flare. After the match Corsar announced their retirement from the GWF and even made a shocking grovelling apology for his behaviour during his time in the fed. It was a nice effort but failed to win over the Titan crowd. The crowd is hardly going to cheer if you have just beaten their home favourites!
In a non-title match Defiance overcame a brilliant effort by the Gamemasters to triumph by count-out
Fight Club (Torin Caelum & KO Keller) beat the Crosscurrents by DQ
Hechilles brought Silvar’s winning run to an end with THE END
Mighty Grogan made an impressive debut as he manhandled Mimic.
Card 64 – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
In a classic six man tag match, Omega and the Gamemasters defeated Morpheus and the Estorians after Omega finished Morpheus with the TOMAHAWK THRUST
Caiman overcame Hechilles with THE HANDICAPPER
Torin Caelum used CAELUM’S GRIP to beat Blood
In a POW rules match KO Keller absolutely destroyed Jammer
Paladin Power beat the Imperial Alliance by count-out. It was a great battle but suddenly Mimic, who was legal man in, ran off throwing his regal attire into the crowd. The shock move left everyone bewildered
Silvar overcame Santon the Loner with the TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER. Silvar is on a shocking hot run at the moment with improbable wins over Ricken Prince and Santon. Silvar for the Galaxian title anyone?
Card 63 – GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS 4 – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
Omega defeated Caiman with the TOMAHAWK THRUST to become Galaxian champ for an amazing THIRD time! Credit must go to Caiman who withstood a ferocious pummelling and all of Omega’s best moves but eventually something had to give
In a non-title match Defiance lost to KO Keller and Torin Caelum by DQ. Don’t expect any rematches between the teams but all four men will be keen to blow off steam by facing eachother in singles matches
Commander Sam (injured) won a cage match exiling Mangus for 10 cards via SAM’S ATOMIC DROP. It is a massive blow to the Cygnusian who, like Torpor before him, is getting outclassed by Sam’s ferocious spirit. Sam may not always do things by the book but he has a tremendous cult following!
The Estorians drew first blood in their rivalry against the Gamemasters when Parsec made Star Warrior succumb to the ESTORIAN LOCK. In the post match interviews it became clear this battle is not over and some are speculating that Omega wants to link up with the Gamemasters on the next card in a six man tag match
Santon the Loner and Morpheus formed an unusual duo to best the Mensans by count-out. Cordsar was later sickened at the pop Santon and Morpheus (usually unpopular with the fans) got for winning and ranted ‘I am sick of this biased fed’. Speculation is running rife that the Mensans are ready to walk out of the GWF!
Paladin Power crushed local favourites the Wind Riders when Moonstrike nailed Rama with the PALADIN DROP. The Paladins are destined to surely have another crack at the tag titles soon. They may no longer be champs but they are probably the best team in the fed. The Wind Riders meanwhile continue to fall towards the bottom of the tag pile. They over-achieved beyond their wildest expectations since joining the GWF but as the tag ranks strengthen they are finding wins harder and harder to come by
Hechilles finally topped Mimic in their rivalry winning again after consigning Mimic to THE END
In a POW rules match Silvar stunned Ricken Prince. Nothing seems to be going right for Ricken Prince at the moment. Silvar is probably the lowest ranked regular singles wrestler in the fed so this defeat has caused Ricken Prince no end of embarrassment and ridicule!
GWF REPORT (2079 CARDS 58 - 62)
Champions:
*GWF Galaxian Champ: Caiman
*GWF Tag Champs: Defiance
Latest News:
Details of a big tournament back on Pleiades has surfaced. Omega has allegedly laid into Commander Sam in particular for going there and getting injured ahead of his big exile match with Mangus. Omega has pleaded with wrestlers to stay away from there especially after hearing rumours of Bullwhip being up badly beaten on by Jack Hood and his hired goons. GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS 4 is up next! It’s going to be an awesome card and it is fantastic that Omega has risen back to a level where he can compete for the Galaxian title in the main event against the holder Caiman. He is heavily favoured to win the belt for a third time. Other incredible matches include a massive cage match between Commander Sam and Mangus where the loser will be exiled for TEN cards, that’s almost a year out of wrestling! Sam hasn’t helped himself by getting himself badly injured battling the disgusting Jack Hood. One of the most anticipated tussles will see the Gamemasters and the Estorians lock up for the first time after a lot of jockeying and bragging from both teams. These two talented teams surely represent the future of GWF tag team wrestling and it will be a huge boost to whoever comes out ontop. There are plenty of other big scraps scheduled so be sure not to miss it!!!

First Round:
Bullwhip eliminated Santon the Loner with TWELVE O’CLOCK HIGH
Ricken Prince overcame Moonstrike with BOW TO THE PRINCE
Blood surprisingly overcame KO Keller via SCAR TISSUE

Bullwhip manhandled Ricken Prince after repeatedly bashing him with TWELVE O’CLOCK HIGH
Blood was really hardcore and totally overwhelmed Jack Hood via SCAR TISSUE
Final:
Bullwhip won the tournament over Blood after again using TWELVE O’CLOCK HIGH to get the job done. Rumours afterwards circulated that Jack Hood refused to pay up the prize money. When Bullwhip confronted him demanding the cash he was badly beaten up by Jack Hood’s hired goons.
Card 61 – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
Caiman and Hechilles defeated the Imperial Alliance when Mimic got counted-out after forgetting about the match and acting a silly skit for the fans in the front row. Ricken Prince was not happy with his partner
Santon the Loner continues his surge back to form with a one-sided victory over Mangus
Torin Caelum won a good battle with Jammer. Despite his past problems with injury Jammer is having a golden period in the GWF and is vowing to carry on competing until he drops
KO Keller is showing no ill effects from losing the cherished Galaxian title as he won again, this time by DQ over Blood in a match billed as ‘battle of the tough guys’
Tantalis is still undefeated after winning a big match against Commander Sam. Forget tag team wrestling, Tantalis is taking the singles scene by storm!
Despite dominating their opponents the Gamemasters lost to the Crosscurrents when Star Warrior got counted-out. The learning curve is a steep one for the Gamemasters and they must continue to eradicate some of the sloppy mistakes which were in evidence during this bout.
Card 60 – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
Tag champs, Defiance, destroyed the Crosscurrents when Jammer polished off Thetis. After years of under achieving Defiance are looking like a superstar level team
KO Keller bounced back from dropping the title by overcoming Commander Sam. He is determined to force himself back among the top contenders for the belt
Hechilles finally got the better of Mimic following THE END but this off beat rivalry looks set to continue as they are rumoured to of signed a match against eachother at GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS
Silvar beat Ricken Prince by DQ after being made to BOW TO THE PRINCE. The fans seemed to be growing very frustrated with Ricken Prince’s apparent in-abilty to wrestle a clean match
Cosmos used the MASTERLOCK to beat Parsec. He is quite hot at the moment and showing massive improvement in his in-ring abilities and at the moments looks the better prospect out of him and his partner
Tantalis easily beat Star Warrior in the opening match.
Card 59 – Phobos Sundome:
Caiman shocked KO Keller by beating him with the HANDICAPPER to become the new Galaxian champ. His first defense will be in the main event at GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS against Omega
Torin Caelum just about came through the challenge of Trotarus eventually sealing the win with CAELUM’S GRIP
Paladin Power and the Wind Riders thrilled the crowd with a great match that unfortunately descended into chaos and a double DQ
Cosmos in avoiding a turnbuckle smash by the on rushing Ricken Prince got an impressive count-out victory
Mimic continues to be a bogey opponent for Hechilles with a second upset victory gained after repeatedly using the MIME NERVE SLEEPER. Apparently Mimic’s name is bringing Hechilles out in cold sweats. Look for them to square off again as Hechilles attempts to restore some pride to his battered reputation
The Crosscurrents beat the Estorians after sending Tantalis to a WATERY GRAVE to become #1 contenders to the tag straps. Both Vortex and Thetis are proving to be a bit of a problem for the two new tag teams. On paper the Gamemasters and the Estorians should be winning these matches comfortably but that is not proving to be the case!
Card 58 – Phobos Sundome:
Commander Sam seems to be winning his battle with Mangus after polishing him off in POW rules match with SAM’S ATOMIC DROP. A frustrated Mangus later that night challenged Sam to a cage match at GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS with the loser to be exiled for 10 cards. Sam immediately accepted!
Santon the Loner returned to winning ways over Morpheus via the SPIKE PILEDRIVER
Omega beat Mimic with the COSMIC WAR DANCE and then sent the fans wild by announcing he will be going for the Galaxian title again in the main event at GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS. No-one can deny that he doesn’t deserve to give himself that push after SEVEN straight wins
Hechilles beat Ricken Prince by count-out. In the short history of the GWF nobody has been involved in more messy finishes to matches than Ricken Prince
The Estorians got their first win in an entertaining battle with the Wind Riders after Tantalis stopped Rama with the SUPERKICK
The Crosscurrents won a DQ decision over the Gamemasters. Cosmos was about to finish Thetis after clamping on the MASTERLOCK when Vortex dived into the ring to save Thetis. This caused Star Warrior to run in to protect his partner and together the Gamemasters cleaned house. The referee controversially punished Star Warrior and called for the bell.
GWF REPORT (2079 CARDS 54 - 57)
Champions:
*GWF Galaxian Champ: KO Keller
*GWF Tag Champs: Defiance
Latest News:
Screw’s official sentence has been announced. He is to be imprisoned for the manslaughter of the young referee he attacked effectively ending his career in the GWF. He was something of a cult hardcore icon among the fans but never captured the big one. Something obviously snapped inside his head recently as his behaviour became more and more erratic. Omega has announced that even if he is in condition to wrestle again once he completes his sentence he will not be allowed to compete in the GWF again ever! Strangely Santon the Loner a long time in-ring rival of Screw’s has voiced discontent at the lack of hardcore competition in the GWF. With one major draw gone from the GWF could another one soon follow? This could give Omega a headache if he loses two of his biggest players! Speaking of Omega, he has been stepping up his schedule again and told the fans he wants to win the Galaxian title back. With recent wins over Silvar, Mangus and Santon (overall a stunning SIX match winning streak) it looks like he has earned a chance to try and win it for a THIRD time in the near future perhaps once Caiman has had his go. As everyone knows Omega calls the shots and he could technically award himself a shot on the next card but he is a man of such honour that he will never abuse that position to further himself. Another new tag team has been registered to further strengthen the division. Ricken Prince left high and dry without a partner after Screw’s imprisonment has linked up with mute Mimic to form an oddball team known as the Imperial Alliance. Quite why Mimic started aiding Ricken Prince and donning regal attire nobody knows but it could be a chance for Mimic to go for some gold. He has had some good matches on his own but is quite clearly not a championship contender so by competing in tag action it may represent his best chance of grabbing a title.
Card 57 – Venus Space Station Complex:
Galaxian champ, KO Keller, easily saw off the challenge of Torin Caelum putting Torin away with the TEN COUNT. He is an extremely popular champ with the fans and is in stunning shape. His next challenge will come from the popular croc Caiman
Paladin Power bounced back from losing their tag titles with a stylish win over Hechilles and Caiman when Moonstrike caught Caiman with the PALADIN DROP. The Paladins are vowing to win the titles back as soon as they can
Omega continues to sizzle after making simple work of an out of sorts Santon the Loner. With SIX consecutive wins in singles match and three in the last three cards Omega has convinced fans he can win the title again. He is behind Caiman as the #2 contender but will surely get his chance before the year is out
The oddball duo Imperial Alliance got off to a winning start against the Crosscurrents when Vortex got counted-out. Ricken Prince lorded it up whilst Mimic acted out a daft royal skit that ended in him crowning the Prince!
Tantalis finished Cosmos with the SUPERKICK to give the Estorians an early edge in this rivalry although the fans are patiently waiting for the two teams to lock up for the first time in a tag team contest
In the opener, Parsec won a close battle against Star Warrior. Neither combatant looked out of place in the GWF and everyone will be looking forward to some intense matches between the Estorians and the Gamemasters.
Card 56 – Venus Space Station Complex:
Defiance overcame Paladin Power to become new tag champs when Jammer pinned Solar Flare after a brain rattling DDT. It was a massively popular win and to the delight of the crowd the Paladin’s congratulated Blood and Jammer. There is a mutual respect between these two teams
Omega easily handled Mangus to move ominously back into the title picture. Next up he will challenge Santon the Loner who based on recent form should not offer him too much resistance
Commander Sam is hot after he scored a big win over Santon the Loner
Hechilles defeated Ricken Prince on a DQ verdict when Mimic interfered in the match up
Cordsar beat Star Warrior by count-out when Trotarus interfered. The Mensans are still smarting from their humiliating loss to the Gamemasters on the previous card
The Crosscurrents handed the Estorians another loss by DQ. It’s not been a brilliant start for the much fancied Estorians. Their claims that they are the hottest new team around look false as the Gamemasters have clearly shown them up!
Card 55 – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
Caiman won a terrific cage match over Morpheus after immobilising him with the HANDICAPPER and becomes #2 contender to the Galaxian belt
Commander Sam won a predictable slugfest over Mangus by DQ. Neither man cared much for wrestling and spent most of their time clubbing eachother outside of the ring
Santon the Loner overcame Mimic on a count-out. It is a vital win as Santon’s form has dipped since he dropped the Galaxian title at GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS 3. Santon though did not look anything like as intense as he has previously and seems to of lost some of the fire in his belly
The Gamemasters sent the fans crazy with a quickfire win over the Mensans when Cosmos pinned Trotarus. Both Cordsar and Trotarus were humiliated!
Despite relegating himself to the undercard Omega reminded everyone what an amazing wrestler he is by destroying Silvar and finishing him with the TOMAHAWK THRUST
The Wind Riders ruined the debut of the Estorians after hitting Parsec with the DEIMOS DRIVER to thrill their home crowd.
Card 54 – MEMORIAL SHOW – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
(The show featured a fitting tribute to the deceased referee showing stills from his short life followed by a minutes silence. This was quickly followed up with an in-ring interview with newcomers the Estorians. They soon got the crowds backs up by insulting fellow newcomers the Gamemasters and challenging them to a match series to prove who the hottest new tag team is!)
Galaxian champ, KO Keller, won a gripping POW rules match over Mangus. Commander Sam recovering from his defeat backstage must of breathed a sigh of relief that his bitter rival did not show him up by becoming the new champ
Caiman made a big comeback to defeat Commander Sam and in the process elevate him among the top contenders to the Galaxian strap
Torin Caelum won a contenders match over Mimic via CAELUM’S GRIP. Bizarrely after the previous match happenings Mimic turned up to wrestle in full regal attire. Is he planning an alliance with Ricken Prince?
Morpheus beat Ricken Prince with the TRIP TO HADES. Ricken Prince clearly dazed and confused was confronted by Mimic as he tried to find his bearings. Without uttering a word Mimic allowed Ricken Prince to lean on him as he helped him backstage
Defiance overcame the Mensans when Cordsar got counted-out of the ring to earn a shot at the tag belts. Can they realise a dream? Jammer’s not going to hold out for much longer, they must do it now before it’s too late!
The Crosscurrents handed the Gamemasters a lesson after sending Cosmos to a WATERY GRAVE. There is obvious potential in the team but Star Warrior and Cosmos still have much to learn.
GWF REPORT (2078 CARDS 50 - 53)
Champions:
*GWF Galaxian Champ: KO Keller
*GWF Tag Champs: Paladin Power
Latest News:
The young referee has incredibly died of his injuries at the hands of Screw. The incident has caused uproar and Screw has been imprisoned effectively ending his GWF career (leaving Ricken Prince high and dry without a partner). Omega is understandably shocked fearing UFSP inquisition and possible shutdown. Fortunately the referee’s family have intervened persuading the UFSP not to take action. They have sided with Omega claiming he loved the GWF and would wish it continues and prospers. Despite this nasty incident it remains a good battleground to vent aggression. As a gesture Omega will dedicate the opening card of 2079 to the deceased referee sanctioning a one off pay-per-view with all proceeds going to his family. The UFSP seem to be happy with Omega’s actions and are staying out of the matter! On a more cheerful note two debutant teams have joined the GWF. At last, the Gamemasters debuted on #53 and in some style with a terrific win. They are joined by another new team called the Estorians. The growing ranks within the tag division are adding prestige to the once ridiculed belts and now the competition between teams looks fiercer than ever! Hechilles despite being touted as a potential GWF superstar is in a real cold streak. Had he beaten Mangus at GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS he would almost certainly of been the top contender to the Galaxian title but with that defeat and an upset loss to Mimic it looks like his run at the title is fizzling out! Mimic on the other hand is looking really hot. If he can beat Torin Caelum in his next match he will get a shot at the belt. KO Keller currently holds the strap after a popular win over Santon the Loner at GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS 3. Commander Sam’s bitter rivalry with Mangus and both the Mensans continues. Despite Omega’s protestations that this is not a feud but merely a competitive rivalry everyone can see the hate these guys all have for eachother. Expect some brutal POW rules and cage matches to be signed sometime soon. Breaking news, the line up for the MEMORIAL SHOW has now been announced. Matches as follows --- KO Keller puts his Galaxian title on the line against the top contender Mangus. After their messy match on the last card Omega has made the decision to enforce POW rules; Commander Sam has taken up the challenge of Caiman. The Croc was one of those offended by Sam’s racist remarks and wants the match to blow off steam; As mentioned earlier Mimic goes against Torin Caelum in an intriguing tussle, the winner of which has been guaranteed a stab at winning the Galaxian title; Ricken Prince will face Morpheus who despite cooling his dispute with Omega is desperate to force Omega to see sense and give him another run at the title; Defiance face the Mensans in a big match. They have underachieved as a team, potential to be champs but have failed to grab the gold since it’s inception and with Jammer’s creaking body they may be running out of time!; Finally, the Gamemasters will be hoping to follow up their debut win by facing the Crosscurrents. Not the toughest test they’ll face but the Crosscurrents are no mugs having once reigned as tag champs.
End of Year Awards:
WRESTLER OF THE YEAR – Santon the Loner (runner up: KO Keller) TAG TEAM OF THE YEAR – Rock Solid (runners up: The Mensans) MOST POPULAR – Commander Sam (runner up: Jammer) MOST HATED – Cordsar (runner up: Screw)
Card 53 – Luna Auditorium:
(Post card bulletins have indicated that the young referee assaulted at the hands of Screw is in an extremely bad way with severe internal injuries. Some doctors don’t think he will even last the night. Screw has been arrested by the local law enforcement and faces likely imprisonment. There is Galactic paparazzi swarming all over the Luna Auditorium and surrounding area. Many reporters are speculating such a sickening incident could even lead to the end of the GWF)
Galaxian champ, KO Keller, lost by DQ to Mangus to bring the curtain down on a dark and depressing card. Many fans upset at what had gone before had left the Auditorium unable to stomach anymore wrestling action. As for KO Keller and Mangus? Well, a rematch will most probably occur on the first card of 2079
Trotarus made an impressive comeback to defeat Commander Sam. With two wins over Sam surely Trotarus can claim to have the measure of him
Caiman claimed a massive win over former Galaxian champ Santon the Loner via the HANDICAPPER. Unlike his friend and rival Hechilles, Caiman seems to be delivering on the potential he has despite a slow start to his GWF career
In a heavily delayed match Defiance handled the Crosscurrents when Blood pinned Thetis after SCAR TISSUE. Finally a win for Defiance to celebrate but in the wake of earlier events nobody including Blood and Jammer was in the mood to celebrate
In a shocking match Hechilles beat Screw by DQ. Screw was furious with the young referee’s decision and reacted by viciously assaulting him. Over and over again he pounded the poor young man who was less than half his size. The distressed crowd watched on as GWF personnel eventually with the help of Hechilles pulled Screw off. It didn’t look good for the young ref who was laying motionless and bleeding from the mouth and ears. After an age he was carefully carted away connected to breathing apparatus and the card perhaps controversially continued
The Gamemasters made a sizzling debut as they crushed the Wind Riders. Star Warrior put Rama’s lights out with the CETUS SLEEPER. Tano never even made it into the ring!
Card 52 – Luna Auditorium:
Paladin Power crushed Rock Solid to win the tag straps for a second time. Hopefully this reign will last longer than the first (a humiliating one card). Screw did not look happy with Ricken Prince who had cost his team the belts and their first loss by pin fall. Rather than assist his stricken team mate he stormed off in a huff and reportedly assaulted a local cab driver on his way back to his motel!
Omega delighted the fans as he easily finished off Cordsar with the TOMAHAWK THRUST to show he is still a great wrestler well capable of challenging for the Galaxian title should he so desire to push himself. It was a hugely popular win as everyone, apart from the Mensans that is, loves to see Cordsar on the end of a good pummelling
Hechilles and Caiman bested Defiance when Caiman pinned Blood. The defeat continues Defiance’s alarming slide towards the lower card
Mangus mauled Rama finishing him off with THE ANNIHILATOR. Rama, on this evidence, should definitely stick to tag wrestling
Mimic won a gripping match over Silvar. Mimic is really hot at the moment and seems to building another surprise charge towards a possible title shot. Silvar though can be content with a strong showing. He may not be the most fancied of wrestlers but he has proven to be a rugged wrestler who can give most people a good match
Tano surprised Cosmos with a one-sided victory which he sealed by nailing the DEIMOS DRIVER. Cosmos was really out of sorts and didn’t even get a sniff. He has great potential but so often can go from great to abysmal on consecutive cards. Just as well he is being primed for a tag career under Omega’s tutelage. Apparently he has been taught a devastating new finisher called the MASTERLOCK. That will surely be of great benefit to him. One can only hope Omega can remain focused on young Cosmos with his own son, Star Warrior, now in the GWF. You know what they say ‘Blood is thicker than water’!;
Card 51 – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
Omega, Cosmos and Commander Sam (injured) teamed up to beat Mangus and the Mensans by DQ. The fire was really in Sam’s belly and he eventually got caught brawling outside the ring with Mangus. After receiving a chair shot from Mangus the ref called for the bell in favour of Sam’s team
In a POW rules match Paladin Power overcame the Crosscurrents when Moonstrike pinned Thetis. The win means the Paladins have earnt a shot at the tag belts on the next card
Morpheus beat Screw by DQ in a wild and ugly match. Screw started attacking ringside personnel bringing a swift end to the match
Torin Caelum won an amazing match over Santon the Loner via CAELUM’S GRIP. Both wrestlers had an astonishing SIX tokens each by the end. The heat generated inside the arena by this awesome battle was incredible
Caiman overcame Blood by DQ. Both men despite their tag team aspirations will be keen to put on a better show next time as it was a dire match and will not help push them in the singles section
Mimic upset Hechilles with the MIME NERVE SLEEPER. Nobody could quite believe how a potential top draw wrestler like Hechilles had folded so badly against an undercarder like Mimic.
Card 50 – GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS 3 – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
(Broadcast figures went through the roof for the third annual GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS and peaked during the second half of the show. Estimations indicate that it took more than the previous two events put together making the bigwigs at NETWORK DEIMOS so happy that they have instantly contracted Omega to keep promoting the flagship event for the next FIVE years at least!!! The event has truly elevated the GWF to being the number one sporting event across the galaxy!)
KO Keller drove the fans crazy as he overwhelmed Santon the Loner to capture the Galaxian title. Santon hit KO Keller with everything he had including the handle of his sword but KO Keller was too hot to handle and resisted everything Santon had. The grizzled veteran went ballistic and partied long and hard into the night among his many fans. He is gonna have one huge hangover in the morning!
In a non-title match, Rock Solid handled Omega and Cosmos. It all went wrong for Omega when he got out of sorts attempting a high risk turnbuckle leap and missed allowing Ricken Prince to finish him off with the ROYAL DECREE. It is Omega’s first supercard defeat!
Morpheus polished off Caiman with the TRIP TO HADES. Still smarting after all these years for not officially being recognised as the first Galaxian champ he desperately wants yet another shot at the title to write himself into the record books. He is vowing to keep winning matches until Omega can’t say no. Trouble is he’s had numerous stabs at it since the fed’s inception and has come up short every time
Torin Caelum destroyed Silvar in a cage match. Silvar had no answer to Torin’s awesome ring skills and barely mustered a fight
Mangus beat Hechilles after hitting the ANNIHILATOR an incredible FOUR times in a row to become #2 contender to the Galaxian title. He grabbed the ring announcers mic after the match and goaded Commander Sam saying that he would win the Galaxian title before Sam has to prove Cyngnusian superiority over the inferior Earth race!
In a second POW rules match, Paladin Power won over Defiance with the PALADIN DROP on Jammer. Poor Defiance just cannot seem to build any kind of winning streak by now. Inferior teams have grabbed the belts before in this fed but Defiance have flopped every time they have had a chance to move to the top of the pile
In a POW rules match, Trotarus humbled Commander Sam (injured). It is a crushing defeat for Sam in his tirade against the Mensans. Maybe it would be wise to lay low and let his injuries fully heal before wrestling again. He has great spirit and an immense following but sometimes he lets his heart rule his head
In an exciting opener, the Wind Riders bested the Crosscurrents when Rama pinned Thetis. It got the local fans in upbeat mood to see their local heroes return to winning ways.
GWF REPORT (2078 CARDS 46 - 49)
Champions:
*GWF Galaxian Champ: Santon the Loner
*GWF Tag Champs: Rock Solid
Latest News:
Alleged accusations of racism in a magazine article (now mysteriously pulled from shelves across the galaxy) pre-card #46 have surfaced from Commander Sam. Apparently he criticised fishfaces Crosscurrents, the Paladin skin tone as well as any non-humans, even lamenting newcomer Caiman for his crocadilian appearance. Reacting to the rumours the Paladin’s approached him in his local gym back in the United States demanding an explanation. Sam somehow appeased them stating he had been mis-quoted but then typically Cordsar showed up on a following wrestling show and started whining. He demanded that Omega eject Sam from the GWF for racism (even though Sam hadn’t even mentioned the Mensans in the alleged article). Omega has responded that he is behind Sam and believes there is no substance to the story. As for ejecting Sam he has simply stated that since there are no contracts in the GWF a wrestler simply doesn’t have to fight Sam if they don't want but urged any grievances are better settled in the ring. People like the Paladins and Caiman agreed with Omega but Cordsar has continued whining. The offshoot is that the Mensans have become willing allies of Mangus! On the next card the Mensans (Trotarus doing most of the dirty work) attacked Commander Sam after his match with Mangus. Sam badly injured his back due to the way he landed in the crowd and will rehabilitate for most of the rest of the year (approx 6 cards). However Sam being Sam he has vowed to wrestle through the injury. Despite all this drama life seems to be getting a little easier for Omega. He may be on his own running the fed now but he has seen off the threats of the UFSP so maybe now he can concentrate on wrestling and return to the form that made him a superstar and carried him twice to the Galaxian title. Jack Hood has surfaced again from his mudhole on Pleiades. Having allegedly beaten Torin Caelum almost a year ago he has been bragging that he wants a proper challenge and can beat the best the GWF has to offer and issued a challenge for the champ to come and face him. Santon the Loner not being one to duck challenges is rumoured to of taken the bait (probably helped by the promise of a large pot of cash). Reports of their POW rules match after #46 surfaced and by the sounds of it Santon came up trumps winning with his SPIKE PILEDRIVER. Omega has knocked back suggestions this match happended but it seems that he is turning a blind eye. Perhaps he is just tired of the controversies and doesn’t want more poroblems when he can just brush it under the carpet. Such an attitude might just encourage more wrestlers to accept Jack Hood’s challenges. GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS 3 is up next and as discovered on the last card the big main event sees KO Keller challenging Santon for the title! The decision to give KO Keller the coveted shot has struck a bum note with Morpheus who thought he should be the top contender. Yet more bad feeling continues to build between himself and Omega. At least Omega has been noble enough to recognise that his own recent downturn in form since dropping the title should keep him from headlining the event for a third time. Instead he is likely to team up with Cosmos on the mid-card to further the youngster’s development. Most of the matches are still being set up but one other confirmed match will see Torin Caelum take up Silvar’s challenge of a cage match. The normally placid Silvar surprised many people with his outburst after the last card. He has since mellowed stating he was just frustrated because he thought Torin would be a massive scalp for him. What once looked to be a highly charged grudge match now seems to be taking on a friendlier edge.
Card 49 – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
(Pre-card Morpheus enters the ring and takes the ring announcer’s mic. He publicly demands Omega award him a rematch with Santon for the title at GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS 3. Omega comes out and meets him. Grabbing the mic he turns down Morpheus’ request stating that KO Keller will get the next shot. Morpheus’ face goes red but instead of lashing out he storms off in a huff!)
Rock Solid beat the Mensans to become the new tag champs when Ricken Prince made Cordsar BOW TO THE PRINCE. Cordsar quickly recovered and refused to believe that the Mensans had dropped the titles. He tried to grab the belts and run off with them but the Paladins who saw this going on from a monitor backstage quickly pursued and caught him. To a huge pop from the crowd they brought the belts back out and handed them to Rock Solid
Morpheus beat Hechilles with the TRIP TO HADES. It was a good effort from Hechilles and proved he can definitely go toe-to-toe with the big boys
A bloody Omega made a comeback to beat Blood. He seems to be a bit more like his old self in the ring but strangely is showing a lack of interest in trying to regain the Galaxian title. Instead he seems to be more focused on teaming with Cosmos to help him develop in tag team matches ahead of his son Star Warrior joining the fed
In a battle of non-humans, Mangus beat Caiman in an awesome match eventually finishing the croc with THE ANNIHILATOR despite being hit with Caiman’s finisher twice. It was without doubt one of the best matches of the fed’s short history. Bravo!
Silvar shockingly dominated Torin Caelum but only won by DQ. Later Silvar showed a shocking mean streak by claiming Torin played for the DQ because he was scared of being cleanly pinned by a supposed undercarder. Silvar wants to fight him in a cage match at GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS 3 where Torin can’t pull the same stunt!
One of the current crowd favourites Jammer stopped Cosmos with BAD NIGHT. Cosmos is improving all the time but still lacks consistency. Tonight he was awful and made to look like he’d never wrestled before.
Card 48 – Niagara Tower of Lights:
(Mid-card Commander Sam appeared in the ring to explain to fans how he has recently been misquoted in a wrestling magazine. He denied ever making the racist comments and urged true fans to boycott the publication. Cordsar who fought earlier in the card came down to ringside urging fans not to believe Sam’s lies. The crowd hissed at him but he stood there lapping it up as though they were cheering him. Rather than rise to the bait the injured Sam wisely left him to it)
Galaxian champ, Santon the Loner, blitzed Morpheus and smashed him with the SPIKE PILEDRIVER to hold onto the belt. His form has been unstoppable ever since his brief wild streak last year. He has calmed down quite a bit and is now wrestling better than ever. The suspected Aethran rep even has a bit of a cult following among the fans!
In a wild POW rules match Torin Caelum fed off the crowd to beat Mangus via CAELUM’S GRIP. He’s back!!!
Omega and Cosmos teamed up to beat Defiance. Cosmos continued his learning curve with a brilliant performance finishing Jammer with the MASTERDROP. The fans gave him a standing ovation after the match
Ricken Prince beat Cordsar by DQ when Trotarus interfered and tried to tie Ricken Prince up in the ropes ready for a sneaky attack. Ricken Prince, who has came full circle since his early unpopular days in the GWF, fought back and saw both Mensans off
As part of the build up before their tag title match on the next card Rock Solid and the Mensans opposed eachother in singles matches. Screw won the first match over Trotarus by DQ when Cordsar stuck his beak in
Paladin Power easily handled the Wind Riders with Solar Flare pinning Rama. Unfortunately the Wind Riders are being made to look like the undercarders everyone expected them to be when they first joined the fed. They have enjoyed success beyond their wildest dreams but the GWF is looking a much stronger fed for tag team competition now.
Card 47 – Niagara Tower of Lights:
(In ring interview was conducted with Jammer mid-card. He is real hot property at the moment with his incredible matches and the promoter recognised that he would get a huge pop from the crowd. Jammer spoke about his past knee injury that had threatened his career and even sounded like he was being a little bit forgiving of Ricken Prince for inflicting the injury. He then admitted that Defiance had easily lost their recent rivalry with Rock Solid and said maybe it was time for both teams to move on. The crowd gave him a really good reaction for his honest comments)
Tag champs, the Mensans, won a thrilling match over Paladin Power when Moonstrike was controversially counted-out. The Mensans are without doubt the most despised wrestlers in the galaxy (apart from on Mensa and Cygnus) at the moment
Hechilles beat his partner Caiman with THE END to maintain his edge in their friendly rivalry. Omega has promised both Hechilles and Caiman a couple of big matches over the forthcoming cards to try and further raise their profiles
KO Keller handled Cosmos with the TEN COUNT and has been guaranteed a shot at the Galaxian title by Omega as a reward for his hot form. No matter what happens between Santon and Morpheus he will be headlining the GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS 3 supercard
Torin Caelum and Mangus wrestled to a double DQ. Torin tried to keep it a wrestling match but the hardcore style of Mangus kept meaning the action spilt outside the ring. Torin grew increasingly frustrated and eventually engaged in a wild brawl that the referee couldn’t control
Rock Solid overcame the Wind Riders after the ROYAL DECREE on Rama. With other teams faltering they are now #2 contenders to the tag belts
Defiance triumphed over the Crosscurrents by DQ when Thetis dived full length off the turnbuckle and accidentally caught the ref who wasn’t paying proper attention to what was happening. Despite the fact it was a complete accident the ref called for the bell. What a killjoy!
Card 46 – Niagara Tower of Lights:
Galaxian champ, Santon the Loner, lost by DQ to Morpheus in a match where both failed with their finishers. They must meet again for the belt. In a post match interview Morpheus bragged that Santon is running scared and that it is only a matter of time before he wins the title for a second time. When the interviewer reminded him it will be for the first time because his previous win isn’t in the record books Morpheus nearly knocked his block off
Despite the match spending more time outside of the ring than in it Commander Sam eventually cleanly defeated Mangus. Dramatically he was shot down from behind as he celebrated his hard earned victory in front of the home crowd by the despicable Mensans. Cordsar came up in front of him to provide a distraction leaving Trotarus to grab him in a bear hug. Trotarus did most of the work and knocked Sam all over the ring before hurling him awkwardly right into the crowd injuring Sam badly. The fans were sickened and several youngsters blubbed at seeing their hero manhandled in such a way. Just why the Mensans did this soon became clear (see news section)
Omega and Cosmos teamed to easily beat Silvar and Mimic. Omega got the pin over Silvar after unleashing the TOMAHAWK THRUST for a second time
The Crosscurrents upset Hechilles and Caiman. With a couple of really decent recent scalps the Crosscurrents are regaining the respect they once had as tag champs. If they can beat Defiance in their next scheduled match they will be right back in the tag title picture
KO Keller beat Ricken Prince with the TEN COUNT to become #2 contender to the Galaxian belt. His form has been terrific over the last year and Omega has even hinted KO Keller will headline the GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS 3 supercard which is coming up soon
Screw won a terrific battle against Jammer. Every match Jammer seems to be involved in is turning out to be an epic. Promoters certainly haven’t been slow to notice this and are desperately clamouring to get him to appear on their cards!

*GWF Galaxian Champ: Santon the Loner
*GWF Tag Champs: The Mensans
Latest News:
News has leaked about the UFSP proposal to close down the fed. A massive galactic-wide petition has given Omega enough clout to convince them to let it carry on. However the UFSP has made suggestions that Omega sell off the fed to a company so it can be properly run with contracts and fines/disciplines for wrestlers. Stubbornly Omega has refused to budge, he remains determined to oversee the fed himself. Many wrestling fans are seeing Omega as a hero for sticking to his principles but those closest to him fear all the pressures will eventually get to Omega and start draining him. He may already be showing signs as he has lost the Galaxian title to Santon to end his record reign. He looked really lack lustre and as if his mind wasn’t even on the match. Let’s hope Morpheus can de-throne Santon because no-one wants to see the title in the hands of a rampaging lunatic. As wary as the fans are of him they will likely be right behind Morpheus as he steps up to the plate. Other title challenges surround the tag team belts. Both Rock Solid and Hechilles/Caiman are making good cases for a run at the belts but Paladin Power are still leading the charge. The fans are desperate to see the smug Mensans lose the belts at the earliest opportunity. The Commander Sam-Mangus rivalry is bubbling away and ready to boil over. Both are spoiling eachothers matches and when they do meet the battles are wild and uncontrollable slugfests. Sam’s racist rant on the last card has only heightened the bad feelings between these two!
Card 45 – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
Rock Solid continued their dominance of Defiance with another win after Blood was made to BOW TO THE PRINCE. Screw and Ricken Prince despite their singles aspirations must be close to being awarded a title shot. If the Paladins miss their chance Rock Solid will have a good chance to go for the tag straps
Safe in the knowledge that Mangus was being detained Commander Sam was able to beat Torin Caelum with SAM’S ATOMIC DROP. Can Torin get himself out of his slump? He is one of the best in the business. Perhaps better than Omega even but like Omega he can’t buy a win at the moment!
The Crosscurrents beat Morpheus and Mangus by DQ when Commander Sam come over the tannoy mid-contest and started insulting Cygnus. Mangus was livid despite the fact Sam was nowhere to be seen. In the end Mangus ended up attacking the referee such was his fury. Security had to intervene and even his own partner Morpheus helped restrain him and carry him off. Despite Mangus’ breakdown the fans were shocked at Commander Sam’s offensive comments
KO Keller easily defeated Mimic to end Mimic’s surprise charge towards a title shot
Caiman battled to victory over Cordsar eventually stopping him with the HANDICAPPER. In a post match interview the popular Mangrove battler vowed that he and Hechilles are determined to take the tag belts off the whining Mensans. However they will have to wait until Paladin Power’s run at the belts is over first
Cosmos is showing definite signs off improvement under Omega’s tutelage after winning an entertaining match against Silvar.
Card 44 – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
Tag champs, the Mensans, lost by DQ to Paladin Power. The fans were outraged as the Mensans had no intention of trying to defend their belts properly and wrestled for the DQ. The Paladins want a POW rules rematch!
In a non-title match Santon the Loner continued his hot form by beating a fully recovered Torin Caelum via the SPIKE PILEDRIVER
Screw heaped more misery on Omega by making a comeback to finish him off with the FREAKISH FACE SLAM. Despite a dominating start Omega faded badly and seemed very distracted. He looks a very troubled man at the moment
Commander Sam beat Mangus by DQ in a wild, death defying encounter
Mimic came close to pulling off another massive upset. This time he had KO Keller reeling but eventually only won by DQ. A rematch will take place and if Mimic can do the unthinkable and win again surely he must have a chance of getting a title shot
Hechilles and Caiman linked up to overcome the Wind Riders in a tough battle. Hechilles scored the pin after he rammed Rama with THE END. The fans were disappointed for their homegrown heroes. With the tag team scene growing in calibre and depth the future could be tough for the high flying Wind Riders.
Card 43 – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
Santon the Loner pulled off a big upset by cleanly defeating a strangely lethargic Omega with the SPIKE PILEDRIVER to become new Galaxian champ. Omega’s heart wasn’t in it what with some of the pressing matters he is having to contend with at the moment
In a contenders match Paladin Power got the verdict over Rock Solid by DQ to earn a title shot against their rivals the Mensans
In a wild and entertaining match Jammer eventually beat Trotarus by DQ. Despite the DQ outcome it was a classic that had swung back and forth. The fans were shocked that two guys primarily known for their tag skills put on such an excellent singles match. Some good booking by Omega in this one!
Rama faced mission impossible taking Morpheus on one-on-one. He was predictably crushed and left peeling himself off the mat after being sent on a TRIP TO HADES. It was never going to be a troublesome match for Morpheus but at least the crushing manner of victory further underlines his return to the Galaxian title picture
Mimic caused a massive upset by defeating Commander Sam. Mangus got his own back by interfering in the match
In an exciting battle of newcomers Hechilles made a big comeback to defeat Caiman with THE END. These two look really strong GWF competitors although only time will tell if they are championship material.
Card 42 – Charon Ice Castle:
In a non-title match, the Mensans beat the Wind Riders when Tano got himself counted-out. Cordsar then posed in the ring with his half of the tag belts and irritated the local fans. Grabbing a mic he ranted about how he and Trotarus have overcame persecution of Mensans around the galaxy to become the greatest wrestlers in the fed. Oh puh-leeze!
Blood benefited from Commander Sam’s interfering to beat Mangus. There were later reports of a backstage brawl between Sam and Mangus
Morpheus seems to be back in top form after overcoming Jammer and may have a strong case for a title shot. Surely Omega is noble enough to not let grudges get in the way of awarding him one?
In a POW rules match, Ricken Prince ended his match series with Cosmos with victory after making the young upstart BOW TO THE PRINCE. It was a spirited effort from Cosmos against the grizzled veteran and will serve him well in his development
Another debutant Hechilles struggled in his match against Mimic but eventually triumphed after smashing Mimic with THE END for a second time
Caiman made a noteworthy debut by annihilating Silvar.

Champions:
*GWF Galaxian Champ: Omega
*GWF Tag Champs: The Mensans
Latest News:
Cosmos has started visiting Omega's gym on Cetus. In a sticky moment Morpheus turned up there and confronted them both. Omega's son Star Warrior (being primed for a GWF career) was also in attendance. Morpheus again accused Omega of stealing his big find. In a matter of moments a heated row broke out. Eventually Cosmos intervened and told Morpheus he is happy and that Omega is like the father he never had/knew. He also told Morpheus that Omega has big plans for him. He went on to explain that he feels he needs a fresh approach as he is becoming angered and unsettled at some of his recent losses. Morpheus retorted that all Omega is interested in is himself and his own blood. He warned Cosmos he was making a mistake before leaving. Not long after this public spat Omega announces after a year of training his son Star Warrior will join the GWF and team up with Cosmos to form the Gamemasters. Omega spent a lot of time praising his son's developing skills and Cosmos’ very obvious potential. He also explained the origins of the team name stating it is an expression back on Cetus where one becomes a 'Master' of a particular craft. Clearly this is the beginning of the end of Omega and Morpheus' rocky relationship. Bitter about this and other things (frustration at being unable to beat Omega in the ring, not being recognised as the first GWF champ .etc.) Morpheus called an emergency press conference and stated publicly that he no longer wants to work with Omega running the fed, Omega does everything his own way anyway. As a result Omega has now been left to single handedly run the fed and do all the talent spotting himself. Stressful stuff! As if that’s not enough there is pressure being heaped on Omega by the UFSP. They are concerned about what is going on with Santon's violent attacks and they also cite the Sam - Mangus rivalry for frosty relations between the Earth - Cygnus delegates. At a recent meeting the subject of a Sam/Mangus wrestling match came up and a brawl almost started across the table. Apparently food and drinks went everywhere! They have suggested to Omega shutting down the fed. More news on this to follow! Morpheus’ last actions as the feds talent spotter have led to the recruitment of two new wrestlers. Caiman of Mangrove 25 (a reptilian/humanoid race inhabiting a planet in the Vega system) and Hechilles of Omicron are both being touted as potential superstars. In the spirit of what the GWF should truly stand for they have both declared they will engage eachother in a friendly rivalry as well as teaming up in tag team action from time to time. With such high level talent pouring into the GWF the stakes have never been higher. For all the problems with the UFSP there is no doubt this is the ultimate battleground for best fighters in the galaxy!
End of Year Awards:
WRESTLER OF THE YEAR – Omega (runner up: Santon the Loner) TAG TEAM OF THE YEAR – The Wind Riders (runners up: The Mensans) MOST POPULAR – Commander Sam (runner up: Omega) MOST HATED – Santon the Loner (runner up: Cordsar)
Card 41 – Charon Ice Castle:
Galaxian champ, Omega, saw off the challenge of his good friend Commander Sam. It was an entertaining contest but Omega was just too good for Sam and dealt with everything that was thrown at him. They got a good pop from the crowd as they sportingly shook hands after the match was over. Looking at the banners it looked as if there were more fans supporting Sam in this one but I guess everyone loves a popular underdog
Paladin Power beat the Wind Riders when Rama got counted out to become #2 contenders to the tag straps. If they can defeat Rock Solid on #43 they’ll get a chance to win the tag straps from their rivals the Mensans
In a wild POW rules match, Santon the Loner beat Screw but it took the SPIKE PILEDRIVER an incredible five times to put Screw down for good. Aethran suspect Santon is about the most hated man in the fed at the moment but his form is so hot he is undisputably #1 contender to the Galaxian title. Secretly Santon sees himself as a man who is fighting for Aethra’s right to be included in the GWF. That is why he is really going off the deep end to punish the GWF for it’s prejudical snub
Morpheus beat Jammer by DQ after being smashed illegally into a ringpost. Jammer is real hardcore since returning to the GWF posting two DQ losses in a row. Allegedly Omega has had to have a quiet word with Jammer telling him to calm down
In a POW rules match, KO Keller handled Mangus with ease. After a strong start to his GWF career Mangus is now struggling and being made to look bad by arch-rival Commander Sam. The leaders of Cygnus will not be happy after withdrawing Torpor from the GWF for a similar failure to cope as a wrestler
Cosmos (w/Omega) showed a big improvement and beat Ricken Prince by DQ. He was close to pulling off a clean victory and scoring an upset. Backstage Morpheus was said to be livid that Omega had the audacity to show up in Cosmos’ corner as an advisor. He feels Omega is trying to steal the spotlight from himself all the time. Can their relations possibly get any worse?
Card 40 – Charon Ice Castle:
The Mensans blitzed the Crosscurrents in under 30 seconds to become the new tag champs. Cordsar then really got everyone’s back up by grabbing the mic and bragging about how no-one could deny now that the Mensans were the greatest wrestlers in the galaxy. His tiresome preaching raged on so long that the Paladins who weren’t even in attendance at the card had time to travel over and break up the party. Together they cleaned house and left the sorry Mensans laying on the canvas amid their newly acquired belts. A symbolic victory for the Paladin duo!
In a cage match, Santon the Loner destroyed Torin Caelum (injured). He typically gestured the drawing of his sword across his throat before sealing victory with the devastating SPIKE PILEDRIVER. Poor Torin was distraught by the loss. With his voicebox still scratchy from the alleged pummelling he got from Jack Hood he vowed to heal up properly and return stronger than ever. Sounds like a wise decision as the past few cards have been miserable ones for Torin
In a POW rules match, Commander Sam defeated Mangus. The self proclaimed ‘Destroyer of Humans’ had absolutely no answer to Sam’s awesome offence. Sam is really buzzing at the moment and is already dominating this new rivalry. Next up he goes against his good friend Omega for the title and it should be a thrilling match so long as no unwelcome outside influences spoil it
Screw bested Blood via the FREAKISH FACE SLAM to make it two out of two in singles matches for the Rock Solid duo over Defiance. There’s only one team winning this rivalry at the moment
Ricken Prince defeated Jammer by DQ. Jammer seemed to have no interest in going for the win. All he was interested in was trying to maim Ricken Prince. Eventually the ref put a stop to it before things got out of hand
In the opening tussle, KO Keller won an entertaining battle over Silvar.
Card 39 – Titan Sportatorium:
Omega and Commander Sam linked up to defeat Morpheus and Mangus. It was pretty much a no contest match which Omega finished off against Mangus
In a bloody battle Santon the Loner eventually topped Screw on a DQ
The Mensans beat Paladin Power when Trotarus clamped the MENSAN LOCK on Solar Flare. The Mensans surprisingly have the edge over the Paladins lately and this latest win in front of the Paladins home fans is especially humiliating
Despite moving off the undercard Cosmos blew it and lost to Ricken Prince by DQ. Seeing red mist Cosmos tried to continue attacking Ricken Prince after the bell but the Prince was too wily and grounded him with a low blow before departing. A distressed Cosmos laid there clutching his nether regions. Eventually none other than Omega came out to help him. He tried to help Cosmos up but the young upstart pushed him away. This drew boos from the crowd. Cosmos didn’t like the barracking and stood all confused as Omega tried to reason with him. After what seemed an age Cosmos relented and shook Omega’s outstretched hand. The crowd’s mood instantly changed and the roars were deafening
Blood terrorized Mimic and finished him off with SCAR TISSUE
Jammer overcame Silvar by count-out after clotheslining him over the top rope.
Card 38 – GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS 2 – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
Galaxian champ, Omega, beat Torin Caelum (injured) in a classic and highly controversial match up. The action was sensational and after a gruelling wrestling encounter Torin Caelum, who had fought beyond himself, looked to set to grab the title as he locked on CAELUM’S GRIP. Omega was fading fast but of nowhere the dastardly Santon appeared. He created a diversion of the ref’s attention by grabbing the Galaxian belt and throwing it into the crowd. The ref and ringside officials immediately set about trying to retrieve it. Fortunately the honest Deimos fans quickly returned it. Meanwhile Santon ran into the ring and clobbered Torin Caelum with the handle of his sword and scarpered. When Omega came round Torin Caelum worse off than him. Slowly both men wobbled to their feet. Neither man seemed to have anything left but like lightning Omega suddenly unleashed the TOMAHAWK THRUST and collapsed ontop of Torin to get the win. Upon learning what happened later that night Omega contacted Torin offering a rematch and said he will throw Santon out of the GWF. Torin refused the title match, he managed to convince Omega to let Santon stay in the GWF so he can gain revenge. Omega has reluctantly agreed to let the suspected Aethran hang around and has sanctioned a cage match on #40
Tag champs, the Crosscurrents, wrestled the Wind Riders to a double DQ when the action spilled outside. The fans were shocked to see these two high flying teams getting down and dirty. The outcome won’t help the Wind Riders as they will now have to step aside for new challengers
Commander Sam won the first of many promised battles with Mangus after nailing SAM’S ATOMIC DROP. They tore into eachother from the off but somehow it ended cleanly thanks to some tolerant refereeing. Maybe the officials are beginning to listen to Omega. Sam was jubilant and paraded round the ring with the US flag. Next up he will team with Omega to face Mangus and Morpheus and also, as promised by Omega, will get a title shot on #41
In a POW rules match, the Mensans beat Paladin Power after Trotarus snared Moonstrike in the MENSAN LOCK
KO Keller overcame Santon the Loner with the TEN COUNT. The fans enjoyed seeing Santon get his come uppance
In a POW rules match, Rock Solid defeated Defiance after Screw nailed Jammer with the FREAKISH FACE SLAM. The defeat is a blow to Defiance who despite Jammer’s enforced lay off have not lived up to their hype since the fed’s inception
Morpheus was surprisingly low down the card which would not of pleased him but he responded to the snub by Omega by beating Silvar thanks to the TRIP TO HADES. It wasn’t easy though and Silvar showed a gutsy effort
In the opener, Mimic disposed of Cosmos with the MIME NERVE SLEEPER. Cosmos is in a slump at the moment and is danger of being the biggest undercarder in the GWF!
GWF REPORT (2077 CARDS 33 - 37)
Champions:
*GWF Galaxian Champ: Omega
*GWF Tag Champs: The Crosscurrents
Latest News:
There is uproar on Aethra! Omega is fearing an Aethran invasion of the fed after what he saw at the recent card staged at the Aethran War Dome and has prohibited them from entering. Despite the protestations of prejudice by Aethran ministers the UFSP have taken Omega's side. They know only too well the destructive nature of the Aethrans (eventually a few years later Omega lets down his guard and allows Brute, Massacre & Wolf join. Which with the benefit of hindsight is a big mistake). Not long after the announcement about the Aethran veto Santon started behaving very bizarrely beginning violent attacks on other wrestlers. Torin Caelum (4 card injury) and Screw have been the victims of some vicious beatings. Omega is growing more suspicious that he might well be an Aethran but has no way of proving it. Although he has stated that if Santon continues his attacks he won’t hesitate in chucking him out of the GWF. Defiance are back! Jammer dramatically returned to the ring to try and revenge attack Ricken Prince. The move backfired as Screw shockingly came to the aid of Ricken Prince. Shortly after the incident Ricken Prince proclaimed he and Screw will be teaming up to battle Defiance and they will be known as Rock Solid. With Defiance back and Rock Solid forming the tag ranks now look much stronger. That’s one less headache for Omega. However it seems as soon as one thing gets sorted another thing crops up. The latest problem surrounds the continuing rumours of more and more guys being baited by the disgusting Jack Hood to fight on Pleiades. Omega is fuming at the rumours and is threatening to prevent offenders from competing in the GWF. Again he has the problem of not having enough proof and as wrestlers aren’t under official contracts he is powerless to prevent them doing so without official backing from the UFSP. Eventually the UFSP agreed to help him out by threatening sanctions for anyone caught fighting in the unlicensed league. Despite this, anyone with half a brain won’t be expecting the seedy battles on Pleiades to stop anytime soon. On a brighter note despite all the ongoing problems, the GWF is continually growing in popularity around the galaxy. With strong viewing figures it has lead to Omega announcing dark matches in the GWF (cards which do not get broadcast). It will allow many fans in the galaxy more opportunity to see their heroes in action. However, he will not be acting as head promoter for any of these shows and refuses to allow any title matches to be sanctioned on them. Finally, GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS 2 is up next! Some awesome match ups are being lined up --- In the main event Omega will defend his strap against former champ Torin Caelum. It’s a bold attempt by Torin who is currently injured but determined to fight on and not pass up the chance as title shots don’t come around too often. Let’s hope Santon keeps his nose out of it. To the delight of the fans the Wind Riders will get a rematch against the Crosscurrents and a chance to regain the belts. What with the weakened tag situation of late there aren’t any other worthy challengers. Commander Sam and Mangus will also square off for the first time. The heat between these two is intense due to the rivalry from the Earth – Cygnus war. This won’t end cleanly. Paladin Power are back in action to face the Mensans and bowing to fan pressure Omega has added POW rules. There will be no place to hide for the cowardly Cordsar in this one. A second POW rules match has also been sanctioned, Defiance against the newly formed Rock Solid. Yet another intense grudge match ready to explode. For a fed that’s supposed to discourage feuding there seem to be a hell of a lot of rivalries exploding. The UFSP no doubt will be watching events very closely. All that and more!!!
Card 37 – Titan Sportatorium:
(In a shock move the crowd boo’d this card. Apart from the main event every match ended in a DQ or count-out. Omega was very distressed by this and has called for refs to be more lenient as in the past few cards DQ finishes are getting more and more common especially with hardcore guys like Mangus and Commander Sam on the scene. He has also promised to bow to the wishes of the fans and schedule more POW matches to ensure cleaner and more outright match finishes!)
Galaxian champ, Omega, won a gripping match over Screw. Amazingly Screw still nursing a stiff neck from the last card survived Omega’s best moves. He was on the ropes but the way Screw was hanging on suggested something dramatic was going to happen. Frustratingly it didn’t work out that way as Santon continued his lunatic assaults and crept to ringside. When Screw fell outside he smashed him with his trademark sword (fortunately the cover was still on) and tossed him back into the ring. Neither Omega or the ref saw it as they were busy dealing with an annoyed Titan fan who had breached security and was causing bedlam over by the announcers table. When Omega finally turned his attention back to the match Screw was ripe for the pickings. He unloaded a few falling knee drops and covered Screw for the win
KO Keller ended Mangus’ winning run with a DQ victory. Mangus’ main focus is obviously to go after sworn enemy Commander Sam (perhaps on the next card if Sam is fit) but with two DQ finishes between these two guys they will surely be pressurised to square off again
Blood beat Ricken Prince by DQ after being made to BOW TO THE PRINCE. The sadistic nature of Ricken Prince got the better of him as Blood had missed a deathjump and was ready to be pinned
The Mensans won a long tussle over Morpheus and Cosmos. Again showing a lack of experience and ring savvy Cosmos got his team DQ’d. He may well be under Morpheus’ wing at the moment but it doesn’t seem to be helping him much as he is making plenty of schoolboy errors
Torin Caelum (injured) beat Santon the Loner by DQ. Santon went mad during the match and ended up savagely beating on Torin Caelum with an unidentified object. It took an age to pull Santon away from a badly bruised Torin Caelum who was already struggling with injury before the match had got underway. The Titan fans hissed at Santon venomously. He is a real loose cannon at the moment
Mimic triumphed over Silvar by count-out.
Card 36 – Titan Sportatorium:
The Crosscurrents overcame the Wind Riders to become the new tag champs after Tano got buried by the WATERY GRAVE. Finally the Crosscurrents seem to be living up to their billing as tag specialists
Rock Solid defeated Defiance by DQ in the first of what promises to be many heated clashes. Jammer had been hit with the FREAKISH FACE SLAM and wasn’t getting up from it anytime soon. As Screw made the cover Blood dived onto the back of his neck from the top turnbuckle. Screw suffered mild concussion and a stiff neck which could possibly hinder him going into his big title match against Omega on the next card
Moonstrike used the PALADIN DROP to see off Trotarus. The Titan crowd loved it and even started a chant demanding he get a title shot at Omega. Unlikely seeing as Moonstrike is dedicated to make Paladin Power a tag team success but you never know!
Torin Caelum (injured!) beat Silvar by count-out when Santon the Loner rumbled the match. Santon clouted Silvar and the ref let it go and made the count. He then tried to get at Torin Caelum but security was close at hand and stopped him from getting in the ring
Morpheus got himself out of a losing patch with victory over Mimic after the TRIP TO HADES
Mangus kept up his winning run with a fortunate DQ win over KO Keller. Commander Sam still struggling with injury hobbled to ringside in an attempt to revenge attack Mangus. KO Keller seeing Sam was no match for Mangus in his current state ushered him away.
Card 35 – Pleiades M45 Theatre:
(All matches using POW rules)
Jack Hood won an incredible contest over Torin Caelum using THE RIPPER five times. Torin Caelum was badly affected after the match. Despite the injuries he sustained he managed to get out of the scummy place intact and vowed never to return
Both men failed with their finishers but Morpheus eventually bested Commander Sam via the TRIP TO HADES. Watchers in attendance couldn’t believe Morpheus had agreed to fight in Pleiades seeing as he was the co-founder of the GWF. If Omega learns the truth about Morpheus’ defection there will be hell to pay!
Defiance humiliated Dorado Sundown (reigning ACWA tag champs) who had come out of the shadows to once again challenge a GWF team in a one-off contest. Blood used SCAR TISSUE to pin Blacklash
Screw defeated Santon the Loner in a hardcore contest
KO Keller crushed Ricken Prince knocking him out with the TEN COUNT
Moonstrike survived the ANNIHILATOR twice to impressively beat Mangus.
Card 34 – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
In a non-title match, Omega crushed Ricken Prince. He failed with the TOMAHAWK THRUST but quickly followed it up with the wild COSMIC WAR DANCE to finish the match. He just continues to look absolutely unbeatable despite all the problems he has trying to run this fed. The fans can’t get enough of him!
In a contenders match Screw beat KO Keller via the FREAKISH FACE SLAM to earn a title shot. In the aftermath he fought off an attempted attack by Santon the Loner. What’s with this guy tonight? Ever since Omega made his announcement regarding Aethra he’s been acting real strange
Defiance made a triumphant return by beating the in-form Crosscurrents when Jammer pinned Thetis
Torin Caelum got the verdict over Moonstrike by DQ. As the ref raised his hand in victory Santon attacked him. Torin Caelum endured a ferocious pummelling but with the help of Moonstrike fought back
Silvar used the TOMBSTONE DRIVER to overcome Cosmos. Despite his potential Cosmos still has much to learn. Maybe Morpheus can help him by taking him under his wing. Problem is Omega seems keen to help the boy too!
Mangus continues to impress winning a tough battle over Mimic. The fans cannot wait to see him lock up with Commander Sam when Sam returns from injury. It will be a ferocious battle!
Card 33 – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
(Omega appeared in front of the fans before the card got underway to announce that he is fearing an Aethran invasion of the GWF. Everyone knows the carnage Aethra caused in the GALACTIC WARS and he is determined to stop them from coming and de-stabilizing the fed. As a result he announces that with UFSP backing he will prohibit Aethrans joining the GWF)
Tag champs, the Wind Riders, lost by DQ to the Crosscurrents when Tano made a pin save just as Rama was about to be finished off following the WATERY GRAVE. Omega entered the ring immediately after the match finished and announced a rematch would occur on # 36
Ricken Prince beat Screw by DQ but before he’d even got his breath Defiance steamrolled into the ring and started attacking him. It was clearly a revenge attack for Jammer’s injury. Now recovered he looked determined to do the same as Blood held Ricken Prince down and Jammer prepared to launch himself off the buckle towards his vulnerable knees. Suddenly Screw burst into action and grabbed Jammer tossing him off the buckle and then hauling Blood off Ricken Prince. It was a shocking save. Could it be the beginning of an unthinkable alliance?
Moonstrike beat Cordsar by count-out. Cordsar was getting beaten on so bad that he simply left the ring. What a wimp!
Santon the Loner beat Mimic via the SPIKE PILEDRIVER
Cosmos upset Trotarus thanks to the MASTERDROP
Mangus made an impressive debut by mauling Silvar and grabbing a count-out victory.
GWF REPORT (2077 CARDS 29 - 32)
Champions:
*GWF Galaxian Champ: Omega
*GWF Tag Champs: The Wind Riders
Latest News:
Commander Sam’s attacker on #32 can be identified as another Cygnusian called Mangus. His attack on Sam has sent shockwaves through the GWF. Incredibly Omega is backing Sam and Morpheus (who has allowed Mangus to join the fed) is backing Mangus. But most star systems are refusing to get behind either Sam or Mangus as both are seen as guys just trying to represent their homeworlds. Where does Torpor fit into all this I hear you ask? Well after his miserable failure in the GWF he has been booted out as the Cygnus rep. While Sam has steadily improved his form since the fed started Torpor has failed to improve his skills and Sam has bested him 4-2 in singles matches. Mangus labelled by his homeworld as the ‘Destroyer of Humans’ should be more up to the task! Omega has offered Commander Sam the #1 contenders spot to his Galaxian strap but due to Sam’s injuries (4 cards) he has declined. Omega has promised him that if he is still champ when Sam recovers he’ll make an extra title defense against him during the mandatory 4 card period as he deserves to get a title shot. The Mensans have been warned by Omega after injuring Solar Flare for 6 cards. The lay off is really lengthy as Solar Flare has a broken nose and cheek bone fractures. Technically he could wrestle in the meantime but would have to wear a protective mask which may not get sanctioned by Omega as legal. This means that Paladin Power will be out of action for some time and has led to criticism of the tag division among wrestling magazines. With the Paladins and Defiance missing the division is looking really weak. Omega and Morpheus are under pressure to create more teams to prevent the tag belts being seen as a joke. Once again Jack Hood has reared his head. Allegedly Screw, unbeknown to Omega, was lured to Pleaides for a POW rules match. Details are sketchy but word on the street is Screw emerged victorious after smashing Jack with his FREAKISH FACE SLAM!
Card 32 – Aethran War Dome:
(The first GWF card on Aethra. The trip was a nightmare with rowdy crowds. Omega voices concern at how the Aethran VIPs watch Santon’s match closely scribbling notes. He tells Morpheus of his fear that the Aethrans may be ready to invade the GWF but Morpheus won’t listen to him!)
Omega and Torin Caelum link up to beat Morpheus and Cosmos. Omega finishes the match by nailing Cosmos with the TOMAHAWK THRUST. After the bout Omega helps Cosmos to his feet and sings his praises on the mic. Cosmos seems pleased by the attention but then Morpheus snatches the mic away from Omega accusing him of trying to steal his protégé
KO Keller beat Screw by DQ. With two messy finishes in a row they will settle their differences in a cage match within the next couple of cards
Commander Sam defeated Torpor but as the referee raises his hand an unknown alien savages him from behind. Armed with Cygnus Brass Knuckles he clubs Sam and starts pounding him unceremoniously all over his body. By the time officials get to Sam he is black and blue and is carried off on a stretcher. The Aethran crowd loves the violence!
Santon the Loner beat Ricken Prince by DQ. Some of the senior Aethrans in the VIP box start watching him like a hawk. Omega backstage has picked up on this
In a POW rules match Moonstrike bested Cordsar thanks to the PALADIN DROP
In the opener, Mimic put Vortex’s lights out with the MIME NERVE SLEEPER. Excuse the pun but both of the Crosscurrents really are like ‘fishes out of water’ in singles matches!
Card 31 – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
Galaxian champ, Omega, beat Morpheus in an astonishing 30 seconds. What an embarrassment for Morpheus!!!
Screw defeated KO Keller by DQ. It was a shame as it was an exciting battle that deserved a better outcome and maybe more leniency from the referee. A rematch is inevitable
Cosmos beat Commander Sam by DQ when an almost recovered Torpor showed up at ringside parading the Cygnusian flag and taunting a section of American fans who had travelled to Deimos. Sam’s blood began to boil and within moments he rushed out of the ring and tried to attack Torpor causing the ref to call for the bell. Security swarmed all over them preventing a nasty incident. In the aftermath a match between Sam and Torpor has been hastily arranged for the next card
The Crosscurrents beat the Mensans when Cordsar got counted-out. Moonstrike had hung around following the previous match and hid himself underneath the ring. As soon as Cordsar fell out of the ring he attacked him and the ref didn’t catch any of it
Moonstrike demolished Tano. Poor Tano did not look comfortable in a singles environment
Silvar finally got off the mark with a surprisingly quick win over Mimic.
Card 30 – Niagara Tower Of Lights:
In a non-title match, Omega handled Ricken Prince. He is looking in great shape for his title defense against Morpheus on the next card. With both men being in tremendous form it is promising to be a full scale war!
Morpheus became #1 contender to the Galaxian belt with an impressive win against Commander Sam. It was one of the most entertaining battles so far this year
Paladin Power easily won a POW rules match over the Mensans when Solar Flare pinned Trotarus. But in another cowardly move Cordsar ran into the ring and smashed Solar Flare with a chair. Moonstrike didn’t have time to save his partner. Rather than go after them Moonstrike stayed with his partner who looked to be in a bad way with a busted up nose following the chair shot in the face. The shocked crowd gasped as blood poured from Solar Flare’s face and medics struggled to stem the bleeding. Cordsar unknowingly is giving Morpheus a good run for becoming the most hated man in the fed at the moment
Despite a gutsy effort Torin Caelum was too good for Cosmos and won after sinching CAELUM’S GRIP
Mimic triumphed over Santon the Loner by DQ
Blood picked up a much needed win over Silvar who is still searching for his first win in the GWF.
Card 29 – Niagara Tower Of Lights:
Tag champs, the Wind Riders, kept their titles by beating the Mensans by DQ when Trotarus interfered after Cordsar had been blasted with the DEIMOS DRIVER. Everyone was relieved the Mensans didn’t grab the belts
Morpheus crushed Blood via the TRIP TO HADES for a fourth consecutive win. Despite his popularity severely waning no-one can deny that he deserves another crack at Omega. He will get that chance if he can defeat Commander Sam in a contenders match on the next card
Torin Caelum was lucky to get away with a DQ win in his match against Ricken Prince
Screw eventually out-muscled Moonstrike in an intriguing match
Commander Sam showed an awesome performance to put KO Keller away with SAM’S ATOMIC DROP. Suddenly Sam is looking a class act!
In an amazing scrap Cosmos beat Silvar by count-out. What made it so amazing is Silvar had nailed Cosmos countless times with the TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER but was incapable of finishing the match. Credit had to go to Cosmos for showing great endurance to cling on but Silvar will be perplexed at how his favourite move couldn’t get the job done.

Latest News:
Omega and Morpheus are determined to end speculation of bad feeling. In a public press conference at the Deimos IG Arena Omega told the crowd that there is no problem them and they are looking forward to healthy competition. Morpheus flanking him stayed poker faced throughout. Omega went on to announce how worried he is at some of the sneak attacks that are littering the fed. He also denounced violent matches like the POW rules saying the GWF broke away from POW to get away from that. Strangely the popular Paladin Power duo later fought back saying these are the matches the fans want to see. Omega was not happy but seeing the pop from the fans given to the Paladins has relented and allowed them to sign some POW rules matches against the Mensans. Speaking of the Mensans, there are calls for them to be banned after Cordsar’s alleged drugging of the Paladins at GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS. However the CCTV footage cannot be considered as foolproof. Although the individual playing around with the Paladin’s drinks looks like Cordsar it is not clear cut and as a result no charges can be brought against him. The fury is widespread as the Mensans are believed to of manipulated the Wind Riders winning the belts as they think they will be easier to beat for the titles now they are #1 contenders. Excuse the pun but the whole incident has left a very bitter taste in everyone’s mouths! There are rumours a match between Commander Sam and Jack Hood has taken place on Pleiades. If true then Sam is the first guy to take Jack up on his challenge. Indications are that Jack Hood came out ontop in a one-sided POW rules match. Better hope Omega doesn’t find out about this Sam! Final note is there is a new guy joining the fed going by the name of Silvar but judging by his tame debut he could be making up numbers.
End of Year Awards:
WRESTLER OF THE YEAR – Omega (runner up: Torin Caelum) TAG TEAM OF THE YEAR – The Wind Riders (runners up: The Guardians) MOST POPULAR – Omega (runner up: The Wind Riders) MOST HATED – Morpheus (runner up: Cordsar)
Card 28 – Venus Space Station Complex:
In a brilliant battle Morpheus defeated Santon the Loner via the TRIP TO HADES. He managed to fight back surviving the feared SPIKE PILEDRIVER on three occasions. Despite losing his title shot at the GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS PPV Morpheus has bounced back and seems to be hell bent on proving a point to Omega. Surely Omega cannot deny him a rematch!
Screw overcame Ricken Prince by DQ in an ugly match
Paladin Power beat the Mensans when Cordsar got counted out of the ring. Not for the first time in his career Cordsar scarpered from the ring when the going got tough. But despite the cowardly defeat everyone is dismayed to learn that the Mensans are being considered as #1 contenders to the tag straps
Commander Sam easily beat Blood after nailing his SAM’S ATOMIC DROP. Sam continues to baffle the fans with his fluctuating form. Blood, on the other hand, is desperate to make a big singles push despite recent defeats
KO Keller used the TEN COUNT to put away Mimic
Cosmos beat newcomer Silvar again, this time by DQ.
Card 27 – Venus Space Station Complex:
Morpheus was in fine form as he surprisingly dominated Torin Caelum and put him away with the TRIP TO HADES
Omega and Commander Sam beat the Crosscurrents after Omega pinned Vortex following the TOMAHAWK THRUST. Of course they’re not going to be a regular team but Sam and Omega looked a very fluid combo and you get the feeling their partnership will be far more harmonious than the ill-fated Guardians
Ricken Prince beat Blood by DQ. These DQ defeats are doing nothing to help Blood with his singles push
Trotarus used the MENSAN LOCK to beat Solar Flare
Santon the Loner used the SPIKE PILEDRIVER to see off Cosmos
In a drab opener, KO Keller beat Mimic by DQ in a quick match.
Card 26 – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
In a non-title match, the Wind Riders showed another impressive performance as they handled the Crosscurrents after nailing Thetis with the DEIMOS DRIVER
Torin Caelum defeated Screw in a tight match where both failed with their finishers
Morpheus beat Blood by DQ. Blood had a minor rant in a post match interview. Puffing cigar smoke right into the cameras he declared that he wants a rematch, he is desperate to make a big singles push having shown his superiority over Ricken Prince and believes by beating Morpheus it will catapult him among the top title contenders
Moonstrike beat Cordsar via the PALADIN DROP
Ricken Prince put Commander Sam away with the ROYAL DECREE. The form of Sam is boggling the fans, he has the aggression and spirit to be a big player in this fed but everytime he threatens to make big progress he seems to put in a dire performance
Cosmos followed up his impressive PPV showing by beating Mimic.
Card 25 – GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS 1 – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
(End of PPV reports that the Paladins are spitting mad at Cordsar for his alleged tampering with their energy drinks causing them to stumble in their title defense and lose the belts. Cordsar via a satellite link set up is denying any involvement but CCTV footage has suggested he is guilty. Immediately after the end of the PPV a violent hunt for the Mensans by the recovered Paladins took place. They turned the place upside down but the Mensans had long since fled the arena)
Galaxian champ, Omega, defended his title against Morpheus in a cage match. It was a thrilling encounter which Morpheus came very close to winning after nailing Omega with the TRIP TO HADES. The crowd was worried for their big favourite but Omega battled back in typical style to triumph
Incredibly the Wind Riders regained the tag straps from Paladin Power after finishing Moonstrike with the DEIMOS DRIVER. Although they didn’t know it they will have to say a big thank you to Cordsar who is rumoured to of drugged the Paladins before the match having slipped something into their energy drinks. But take nothing away from the Wind Riders who have stunned everybody with their success in the GWF. Everybody expected them to be cannon fodder but here they are as two-time tag champs
In a POW rules match Screw used the FREAKISH FACE SLAM to defeat Santon the Loner
A heavily stubbled Blood bested Ricken Prince via SCAR TISSUE
Torin Caelum overcame Commander Sam by count-out. Sam just cannot deliver in the big matches despite his very obvious potential to be a superstar wrestler
The Mensans beat the Crosscurrents when Thetis succumbed to Cordsar’s MENSAN LOCK. The win means they will likely be the next challengers in line for the tag belts
KO Keller knocked out Mimic after nailing him with the TEN COUNT
Cosmos handed Silvar a miserable debut with an easy win. Silvar looked very out of his depth with several clumsy and botched wrestling holds.
GWF REPORT (2076 CARDS 21 - 24)
Champions:
*GWF Galaxian Champ: Omega
*GWF Tag Champs: Paladin Power
Latest News:
Fans are delighted that Omega has regained the Galaxian title. He is clearly the best wrestler with the biggest fan base in the fed and it just didn’t seem right the belt being round anyone else’s waist. No offense Torin Caelum. The tag belts seem to be like a hot potato at the moment as nobody can hold onto them for very long. Hopefully the Titan duo can bring some stability with a solid reign. They’ve been touted as potential champs ever since the fed started and although it’s taken them over a year and a half to do it they’ve finally realised that potential. The attack on Torpor by Commander Sam has caused much controversy. Torpor got busted up real bad by Sam and is out for 7 cards. Morpheus managed to intervene or else things could have been much, much worse. Some say he was protecting his financial interest fearing that Sam would ruin the forthcoming PPV again. Others say it’s just cause he hates Sam almost as much as Omega. Could an alliance be forming with Torpor when the Cygnusian returns to action? Fortunately the UFSP have left the PPV alone, it seems that they are coming to their senses and agreeing with Omega’s reasoning that these incidents are best confined to the ring and not in everyday life. As long as things don’t spill outside of the squared circle they are promising to keep their noses out of GWF business, for now at least! So it means the GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS PPV is coming on #25 and there should be no hiccups this time. The huge main event has been announced as Omega defending his Galaxian title against Morpheus inside a cage. That’s worth the entrance fee alone. Paladin Power have also spiced things up by offering the Wind Riders a tag title rematch (with Omega’s consent) which will go down extremely well with the Deimos fans. The other match that has everyone talking is Screw against Santon in a POW rules match, their matches have been so intense and with the POW rules added it’s going to be a full scale war! Five further matches are also scheduled for the big night. It’s going to be by far the biggest wrestling promotion ever!
Card 24 – Luna Auditorium:
Paladin Power won an exciting tussle over the Wind Riders to become the new tag champs after Solar Flare pinned Rama. Despite the loss the Wind Riders remained enthusiastic and high-fived ringside fans as they made their way back to the dressing rooms
Commander Sam beat Torpor in a really tough match and once again got carried away. Ignoring the ref’s protestations he removed a turnbuckle pad to expose the steel and then proceeded to launch Torpor into it via SAM’S ATOMIC DROP over and over again. Only Morpheus (who we all know dislikes Sam almost as much as he does Omega) bursting onto the scene and hauling Sam off ended the attack. Torpor was busted up pretty bad. This is one intense rivalry!
Morpheus beat Screw by DQ for a third consecutive singles win. It’s almost a foregone conclusion that new Galaxian champ Omega will finally cave in and give him another crack at the belt at the GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS PPV
In the battle of the tough guys Blood beat KO Keller by DQ. If a rematch between these two does get sanctioned it’s screaming out for POW rules going by their fighting styles. I know Omega hates POW rules matches but he’s got to see sense
Cordsar overcame Santon the Loner by DQ
Cosmos triumphed over Ricken Prince by DQ after he was made to BOW TO THE PRINCE!
Card 23 – Luna Auditorium:
(Card started with Blood conducting an in-ring interview. He gave the fans an update on his chum Jammer’s condition and then launched into a verbal outburst directed towards Ricken Prince which ended with him challenging him to a match at the forthcoming GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS event)
Omega dominated Torin Caelum to become Galaxian champ for a second time via the TOMAHAWK THRUST
Morpheus edged to victory over Commander Sam
Paladin Power beat the Crosscurrents when Vortex got counted-out. This win ensures they will go for the tag belts on the next card and they are hotly tipped to win them. As brilliant as it was many consider the Wind Riders title triumph a fluke and cannot see their reign lasting too long
Blood beat Ricken Prince by DQ after being hit with the infamous low blow
Screw defeated Santon the Loner on a DQ. Whenever these two meet the intensity of their matches is extremely high. Almost as if there is something simmering under the surface!
Cosmos impressively handled Mimic.
Card 22 – TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
First Round:
Morpheus and Cosmos upset Paladin Power when Morpheus pinned Moonstrike following a missed turnbuckle smash. Cosmos looked a very accomplished wrestler in this match. Definite star potential on this showing!
Torin Caelum and Ricken Prince eliminated Omega and Commander Sam after Sam was made to BOW TO THE PRINCE. Can Torin Caelum emulate Omega and become the first man to hold both belts (Remember Morpheus also achieved this but as his first reign as Galaxian champ is stricken from the records it doesn’t count)?
KO Keller and Blood combined fantastically to knock out the Crosscurrents after KO Keller finshed off Vortex
Second Round: Morpheus and Cosmos made surprise finalists by beating the highly fancied duo of Torin Caelum and Ricken Prince. Morpheus won for his team after smashing Torin Caelum with the TRIP TO HADES
In a big crowd pleasing moment the Wind Riders shocked KO Keller and Blood to make the tournament final when Rama finished off Blood. Can they become shock champs?
Final: (POW rules)
In an amazing moment the Wind Riders became the new tag champs over Morpheus and Cosmos when they finished Cosmos with the DEIMOS DRIVER. There will be dancing in the streets of Deimos tonight!
Card 21 – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
Omega annihilated Screw and finished him with his crazy COSMIC WAR DANCE to earn a title shot against Torin Caelum
Morpheus just about survived a savage onslaught from KO Keller to triumph by DQ
Ricken Prince beat Blood having survived SCAR TISSUE twice. He rallied back and pinned Blood following the ROYAL DECREE. The crowd didn’t like it but at least it wasn’t that underhanded low blow that has become so unpopular Paladin Power beat the Mensans after Solar Flare launched the PALADIN MISSILE on Trotarus. The move had quite an effect on Trotarus as medics had to help him away and it was later revealed Trotarus is injured for 5 cards. Cordsar was livid with Solar Flare and went on another of his tiresome rants having learnt that as a consequence of this match the Mensans will have to pull out of the forthcoming tag tournament. News of this went down well in Deimos as their beloved Wind Riders will be getting a bye into the last four because of this!
The Wind Riders fought their way to a thrilling DQ win over the Crosscurrents. They may be lightweight and inexperienced but their ring work and tagging skills looked very impressive. Just maybe they’ve got a chance in the upcoming tournament to fill the belts
In a debutants match Mimic and Cosmos put on a decent show. Mimic eventually came out on top after repeated applications of the MIME NERVE SLEEPER.
GWF REPORT (2076 CARDS 17 - 20)
Champions:
*GWF Galaxian Champ: Torin Caelum
*GWF Tag Champs: Vacant
Latest News:
Omega has issued a major snub to Morpheus by publicly announcing that he is looking forward to teaming with Commander Sam in the forthcoming months. Omega feels that now Dorado Sundown have been run out of town he and Morpheus can abandon their Guardians team once they drop the tag belts. As if that wasn’t a bad enough blow to Morpheus’ ego Omega has also overlooked him in the title picture. Morpheus is desperate to have another crack at the belt (especially since he is not listed in the record books as the first champ) but the top contender will come from either Omega or Screw who will square off in their next match. Morpheus is angered and with Dorado Sundown gone has publicly vowed never to team up with Omega again although he will continue his rocky business relationship with him. This has caused all sorts of problems because he and Omega are still the tag champs. Omega doesn’t want to split the team up straight away because they are still the holders although after Dorado Sundown stole the titles on their departure from the GWF they have no belts to wear. Morpheus remains insistent that they will not team together again and wants new belts to be made and in turn new champions to be crowned. Omega has reluctantly agreed to vacate the titles and an 8 team tournament will be sanctioned to fill the void. The tension is running really high between these two, more so than when the fed was created over a year ago. How long can they even co-exist from a business point of view now that their in-ring relationship has deteriated? The worst fears have been realised for Jammer, doctors have diagnosed a terrible knee injury where the cruciate has been snapped clean off. Most ordinary men would be finished but Jammer is bravely vowing to return to the GWF although any chance of him returning before a year of rehabilitation is unlikely. The ever unpopular Mensans, more noticeably Cordsar, are bragging Jammer’s knee injury is a fake and that the reason he has left for a year is because he’s running scared of the Mensans. Again such comments do tend to get under the skin. This time it is the Titan team Paladin Power who are growing fed up and are vowing to shut Cordsar and his big dumb partner Trotarus up. Blood will of course be focusing his attentions on Ricken Prince, the man responsible for horrifically injuring his partner and friend (no-one knows if it was an accident or done on purpose!). There are some new entries to the GWF. Despite all the tension Morpheus and Omega are still working together behind the scenes and in his role as talent spotter for the fed Morpheus has brought in a young raw talent called Cosmos. In fact Omega was so impressed by this young man that he has waived the minimum age requirement to let him wrestle. Also joining are a high flying duo called the Wind Riders. They are from Deimos and are bound to draw in even more fans to the Deimos IG Arena now they have some homegrown heroes to follow. The final addition is a strange chap called Mimic. Not much is known about him but I’m told he’s a real quiet chap who really lives up to his name. Surely the fact that Omega and Morpheus have the finances to go talent recruiting and expand the roster shows that the fed is really over with the fans. Take note UFSP!
Card 20 – Niagara Tower of Lights:
(Looking to make their mark Dorado Sundown have again decorated the arena in saloon style. They are convinced this is the night they finally takeover. Once again Omega is horrified that they have managed to do this and blasts the security threatening to move fight cards away from the Tower of Lights if this happens again. Rumours are also circulating that Dorado Sundown are planning to join the ACWA (Alpha Centuari Wrestling Association) if they lose the match. The card also features an in-ring interview segment with Commander Sam. It’s scheduled for the benefit of the American fans. Sam talks about his recent injuries and his in-ring war with Torpor. The fans really buy into his burning intensity and passion. Torpor tries to infiltrate the interview but Sam feeds off the American crowd goes wild and fights Torpor off in true Sam style!)
Tag champs, the Guardians, ended the careers of Dorado Sundown by winning a POW rules loser leaves GWF match when Morpheus pinned Bullwhip following the TRIP TO HADES. The crowd went crazy and started ripping down the saloon decorations to celebrate the demise of Dorado Sundown. But it wasn’t all sweetness because as soon as Bullwhip recovered his senses he and Blacklash made a grab for the tag belts still sitting on the announcers table. Before anyone reacted they made off with them. Allegedly officials led by Omega spent all night searching for them but couldn’t find them. Eventually Omega conceded that the belts were gone and hopes of locating them were useless, it was a bizarre ending to the card!
Blood got some small revenge for his injured partner by beating Ricken Prince with a real hardcore performance. Ricken Prince didn’t know what had hit him
KO Keller used a heartpunch to defeat Torpor. After the match he delighted the fans by unfurling an American flag which he paraded around the ring before mopping his brow and handing it over to one very lucky ringside fan
Santon the Loner won a very even contest over Solar Flare
The Wind Riders made a very disappointing debut when they lost to the Mensans after Tano got counted-out against Trotarus. Let’s hope they fare better when they come up in front of their own fans in Deimos
Moonstrike overcame Screw with the PALADIN DROP. It delighted many of the Titan fans who had made the short trip to the venue.
Card 19 – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
Dorado Sundown and Torpor defeated the Guardians and Commander Sam (injured) in a six man tag match. Sam was really not up to it and was easily finished off by Bullwhip’s TWELVE O’CLOCK HIGH. After the bout a frustrated Morpheus against Omega’s wishes challenged Dorado Sundown to a loser leaves GWF match which was accepted immediately. Rumour has it the fineprint states if the Guardians lose then only Omega has to leave. What a sneaky stunt from Morpheus!
Screw won a titanic tussle with KO Keller finishing him with the FREAKISH FACE SLAM. Screw is looking really hot at the moment and must be close to getting a title shot
Solar Flare bested the unpopular Cordsar after striking him with the PALADIN MISSILE. The crowds once again got on Cordsar’s back and he got a real complex about it which seemed to really affect his performance
Torin Caelum and Ricken Prince beat Defiance when a distressed Jammer was made to BOW TO THE PRINCE. Medical staff instantly swarmed the ring and tended to Jammer who was screaming in agony, after what seemed an age he was carefully stretchered away with his legs tightly bound. Just before the end of the match he and Ricken Prince were brawling outside the ring. Ricken Prince threw Jammer into the ring steps and Jammer’s left knee collided awkwardly with them. His foot seemed to go in the opposite direction to his knee. Knees just aren’t supposed to bend that way. Fans in the front few rows later told of hearing a sickening snap when it happened! Reports being relayed periodically over the course of the remaining card were that the prognosis for Jammer was not good
Moonstrike got a big win over Santon the Loner after hitting the PALADIN DROP
Trotarus easily defeated Vortex who looked completely lost without his partner.
Card 18 – Titan Sportatorium:
(This card featured an in-ring interview segment with Paladin Power. They got a huge pop from the fans. Moonstrike done most of the talking and explained that they were disappointed not to be tag champs but felt that it was only a matter of time before they get a fair shot. Last time they challenged the Guardians the match got ruined by Dorado Sundown leading to a DQ decision, next time he promised would be different. He also bad mouthed the Mensans which brought another cheer. Like Defiance they are fed up with Cordsar’s constant whining about everything)
Galaxian champ, Torin Caelum, retained his belt against Santon the Loner after applying CAELUM’S GRIP. It’s early days but Torin Caelum’s GWF performances have been extremely impressive and he looks to have all the credentials to hold a very noteworthy reign as champ. One can only imagine how good he must have been in his prime back in his early POW days
Jammer used BAD NIGHT to put away Ricken Prince. The arrogant Ricken Prince reacted angrily to the defeat and challenged Jammer to a rematch. Jammer responded by saying he is neglecting his tag duties too much at the moment and will only fight him if Ricken Prince finds a partner to take on Defiance
Omega easily defeated Blood after smashing him with the TOMAHAWK THRUST to hopefully bring himself out of his surprise singles cold streak
Screw beat Morpheus by DQ despite the fact that Morpheus twice survived the FREAKISH FACE SLAM. The loss is likely to put Morpheus out of the title pic
Dorado Sundown mauled the Mensans with Blacklash pinning Cordsar. The fans just didn’t know who to get behind in the match as both teams are without question the most unpopular in the GWF. In the end the crowd seemed very muted which made for a somewhat strange atmosphere
KO Keller defeated Torpor with a heart punch.
Card 17 – Titan Sportatorium:
(Ticket prices had been cut to half price for this show amid fears that the GWF would struggle to fill the massive Sportatorium. There had been reports of a lot of anti-feeling towards the GWF on Titan. The public were very sceptical (like the UFSP) of violent sports. However those fears couldn’t of been further from the truth as come the night the Titan Sportatorium was packed to capacity and by the end the crowd was in a total frenzy. It had been a highly successful night with the only blip being the big main event which turned out to be a bit of a damp squib)
Tag champs, the Guardians, beat the Crosscurrents in just TWO moves after Omega nailed Thetis with the TOMAHAWK THRUST. The fans seemed to be a bit disappointed that the main event had turned out to be little more than a squash match
Amid deafening cheers the Titan team Paladin Power won over Torin Caelum and Ricken Prince in front of the home crowd when Moonstrike pinned Ricken Prince. The win had worked the crowd so much that you might almost of thought this was the main event match up!
Santon the Loner crushed Jammer via the SPIKE PILEDRIVER to become #1 contender to the Galaxian title. In a strange incident we hadn’t seen before in his matches Santon almost seemed to be playing to the crowd. Each time he went for his finishing move in the match he signalled his intent by drawing a makeshift sword from his belt and running it across his chest. Historians will say that such a move is an ancient Aethran custom on the battlefield done just before a foe is slaughtered. He couldn’t be an Aethran, could he? Guess we’ll never know as Santon’s still not talking
Blood bested Torpor thanks to SCAR TISSUE
Screw beat Cordsar by count-out when Cordsar got all upset that the fans only seemed to be cheering his opponent. He got all in a huff complaining the whole galaxy is biased against Mensans and left the ring
KO Keller won over Bullwhip (with Blacklash) via count-out after smashing the two Dorado Sundown members head’s together in an out of ring scuffle. The crowd loved it!
GWF REPORT (2075 CARDS 13 - 16)

*GWF Tag Champs: The Guardians
Latest News:
Word is that Morpheus is mortified by the end of year honours lists. He is stunned that Omega and Commander Sam are way more over with the fans than he is and to make matters worse cannot believe he didn’t finish runner up to Omega for the ‘Wrestler of the Year’ accolade. Having started the year as the reigning Galaxian champ he feels his achievements should be recognised. The in-ring rivalry between Commander Sam and Torpor continues to get ugly. Torpor’s revenge attack on #16 has sidelined Sam for about 6 months. Questions were asked why Morpheus never returned the favour and helped Sam out but he has brushed it off saying this fed isn’t about people grouping together and forming alliances and besides he never asked Sam to save him the first time round. Rumours are floating around that Dorado Sundown are ready to ride into the sunset frustrated by the failed attempts to beat Omega and Morpheus. The ACWA (Alpha Centauri Wrestling Association) has just been set up and they may sign with them. Of course both Blacklash and Bullwhip are strongly denying this claiming they are still ‘Gonna takeover this stinking fed!’ Let’s just hope the rumours are true.
End of Year Awards:
WRESTLER OF THE YEAR – Omega (runner up: Torin Caelum) TAG TEAM OF THE YEAR – The Guardians (runners up: Paladin Power) MOST POPULAR – Omega (runner up: Commander Sam) MOST HATED – Dorado Sundown (runner up: Ricken Prince)
Card 16 – Niagara Tower of Lights:
Galaxian champ, Torin Caelum controversially defended his title with a DQ win against KO Keller. The referee DQ’d KO Keller who was dominating the match after an accidental in-ring collision. It was not a popular decision among the crowd as he had ruined a terrific battle
In a non-title match, the Guardians beat Dorado Sundown when Omega pinned Bullwhip having unleashed the TOMAHAWK THRUST. Morpheus stormed off in a huff afterwards and told reporters “Omega didn’t even bother to tag me in during the match and once again will be taking all the credit!”
Defiance and the Mensans fought to a tense time limit draw. It was disappointing as Defiance were looking like they were close to winning the match when the bell sounded
Torpor made his return to the ring and defeated Commander Sam. Then in ugly revenge attack he dragged a ringside table into the ring and laid Sam, who was still very groggy, across it. Torpor then mounted a buckle and dived onto Sam breaking the table in two under the impact. Sam looked in a bad way and had to be stretchered away. Later reports revealed he’ll miss 5 cards (about half a year)
Ricken Prince made it three victories in a row by beating Screw by DQ. The fans are still giving him a hard time but his form has dramatically improved
The Crosscurrents are hot after beating the highly fancied Paladin Power in convincing fashion. They combined to nail Moonstrike with the WATERY GRAVE to finish the match and are the surprise #1 contenders to the tag straps.
Card 15 – Niagara Tower of Lights:
KO Keller benefited from Dorado Sundown’s interfering to beat Omega via a second consecutive TEN COUNT and become #1 contender. Having seen video footage of the match afterwards KO Keller offered Omega a rematch. It was a noble gesture which Omega appreciated but he has told KO Keller to go for the title. Instead Omega wants another match with Dorado Sundown on the next card and is more determined than ever to run them out of town
Trotarus edged his rivalry with Commander Sam by winning a cage match after wearing Sam down with the MENSAN LOCK
Cordsar defeated Blood by DQ when the ref grew tired of Blood’s hardcore shenanigans
The Crosscurrents upset Dorado Sundown after blasting Blacklash with the WATERY GRAVE
Santon the Loner despite being bloodied overcame Screw by DQ. Again Santon slipped away as Screw tried to unmask him
Ricken Prince beat Moonstrike by making him BOW TO THE PRINCE for the second time in a row. He then stood there arrogantly expecting a rapturous applause from the crowd but was instead met with a chorus of booes and was pelted with soda cups as he left the ring.
Card 14 – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
Tag champs, the Guardians, beat Dorado Sundown when an injured Morpheus finished Blacklash with the TRIP TO HADES. It was a big victory and Omega looked extremely relieved that he and Morpheus had come through it still clutching the belts. The fear is that as soon as Dorado Sundown grab any gold they will make off with it!
KO Keller beat Santon the Loner by count-out and will face off against Omega on the next card to see who Torin Caelum will be making his first title defense against. This rugged brawler is quietly getting the job done and probably has one of the best win/loss records in the fed
Defiance overcame the Crosscurrents after Vortex got counted-out
In a rematch Commander Sam again bested Trotarus by DQ. Omega announced immediately after the match that they must settle things in a cage match on the next card and put an end to these silly DQ outcomes
Ricken Prince beat Moonstrike after making him BOW TO THE PRINCE
Solar Flare won a wild match over Screw by DQ.
Card 13 – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
Torin Caelum won an amazing battle against Omega after locking on CAELUM’S GRIP to become the new Galaxian champ. Both men hit their finishers several times and the excitement reached a fever pitch before Torin Caelum eventually triumphed. The crowd cheered as both men shook hands after the bout and Omega handed over the belt
Dorado Sundown beat Paladin Power after Bullwhip nailed Solar Flare with TWELVE O’CLOCK HIGH. Dorado Sundown are now official #1 contenders and will go for the tag straps on the next card against the Guardians, what a match that will be!
Cordsar defeated Jammer with the MENSAN LOCK and then allegedly went to a nearby bar on Deimos and spent the whole evening bragging about himself. Several bar dwellers got so irritated by him that it nearly incited a punch up. Fortunately the local law enforcement stepped in before things got out of hand
Commander Sam won over Trotarus by DQ. A rematch will take place on the next card
Santon the Loner beat KO Keller by DQ when the ref got moody after being accidentally nailed by a top rope move. KO Keller was irate and in his fury tried to rip Santon’s mask off to reveal his true identity but Santon just about managed to get away. He really doesn’t want anyone to know who he is!
Screw easily overcame Ricken Prince in the opener. Screw seems to be a real enigma at the moment, brilliant on one card, terrible the next. The fans just don’t know what to make of him. Some cheer and some hiss. Guess Screw’s just the sort of guy Omega and Morpheus want in the fed though. Someone who is fiercely independent and forms no allegiance, not even with the fans.
GWF REPORT (2075 CARDS 9 - 12)
Champions:
*GWF Galaxian Champ: Omega
*GWF Tag Champs: The Guardians
Latest News:
Omega is looking invincible at the moment as the Galaxian champ and despite what happened on the last card should be a happy man but instead he is crushed at the UFSP cancelling the planned first ever PPV. Omega has assured that the PPV will still go ahead but probably not till next year. Fortunately TV ratings have not been largely affected and NETWORK DEIMOS have still agreed to broadcast GWF shows. Of course Commander Sam was to blame with his savage post match beatdown on Torpor leaving the Cygnusian injured for 4 cards. Morpheus was absolutely furious and taught Sam a lesson. Whilst Omega wasn’t happy either, he was more upset than angered but is giving Sam the benefit of the doubt citing youthful over-enthusiasm. Is more friction building between Omega and Morpheus over a difference of opinion? Dorado Sundown are reportedly growing increasingly frustrated at their failure to upstage Omega and Morpheus! On #11 they trashed their dressing room in a rage and then on the next card when they finally managed to defeat the Guardians they initiated a vile post match attack of their own. Having finished Morpheus off they continued laying into him and in a disgusting scene Bullwhip rammed him in the face with a spur drawing blood. Incredibly Commander Sam arrived on the scene to save Morpheus from what could have been a really grizzly attack. Morpheus is injured as a result of the attack for 4 cards but it could have been much, much worse. Strangely he hasn’t said anything. Not even a word of thanks towards Sam. Some think he is bitter that Omega wasn’t the one who helped him, others believe he is humiliated because he was the one who got pinned and looks like the weak link on the Guardians. Of course he’ll never admit to it. Whatever happens, one thing is clear and that is that Dorado Sundown are back on track with this victory in their attempts to takeover and having won a non-title bout must be vying with Paladin Power for the #1 contenders spot.
Card 12 – Venus Space Station Complex:
In a non-title match, Dorado Sundown defeated the Guardians after Bullwhip finished Morpheus with TWELVE O’CLOCK HIGH. As Omega rushed to Morpheus’ aid Blacklash came up behind him and laid him out with a chair. They then chucked Omega out of the ring and continued to work on Morpheus. Bullwhip lassoed Morpheus round the neck and proceeded to violently drag him round the ring. With Morpehus coughing heavily Bullwhip then produced a spur out of his trousers and rammed Morpheus with it drawing blood. It looked ominous but out of nowhere Commander Sam led a cavalry charge and armed with a can of mace cleaned house in the ring
Partners Torin Caelum and Ricken Prince squared off against eachother and Torin Caelum ran out an easy winner. Despite looking good as part of a team Ricken Prince continues to dissapoint in singles matches
Jammer beat Trotarus after repeated use of BAD NIGHT. The Mensans are really getting their clocks cleaned by Defiance at the moment much to the delight of everyone in the galaxy (apart from Mensa of course!)
KO Keller brutalized Cordsar but only ran out a count-out winner after Cordsar wimped out unwilling to get beaten on anymore than he had already done
Solar Flare triumphed over Screw by DQ
Commander Sam took a very creditable win against Santon the Loner via the STAR SPANGLED BANNER. Despite what happened on #10 with Torpor the crowd seemed very much behind Sam, his spirit and determination seems to be very admired!
Card 11 – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
In a non-title match, Omega defeated Bullwhip with the TOMAHAWK THRUST. Dorado Sundown are growing frustrated at their failed attempts and trashed their dressing rooms before leaving the arena
Despite a spirited effort Commander Sam was no match for Morpheus and folded after being hit with the TRIP TO HADES. Morpheus then rubbed it in by grabbing the announcer’s microphone and calling Sam a young upstart who has proved he is not fit to be in the same ring as himself. The heckling did not go down at all well with the fans
Blacklash left a bloody Moonstrike seeing stars after smashing him with SUNDOWN to win the match
Blood survived being put in the MENSAN LOCK three times to comeback and beat Cordsar by count-out in their grudge match. Looks like Defiance are getting the edge over the Mensans but judging by Cordsar’s volatile reaction to the outcome this rivalry seems set to run and run
Torin Caelum and Ricken Prince beat the Crosscurrents in an incredible 20 seconds when Ricken Prince pinned Thetis. Despite being alledged tag specialists the Crosscurrents are performing like a couple of pathetic undercarders at the moment
Jammer used BAD NIGHT to defeat Trotarus.
Card 10 – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
(Hours after the card had finished Omega flanked by Morpheus called a press conference. Apparently the UFSP had taken a really dim view of Commander Sam’s actions and as punishment have demanded the cancellation of the GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS PPV scheduled next. Instead the PPV will be replaced with a house show. Further reports are saying that Morpheus is holding a grudge against Sam and wants to teach the young upstart a lesson by facing him on the very next card.)
Tag champs, the Guardians, bested the Mensans after Omega blasted Trotarus with the TOMAHAWK THRUST
Paladin Power won a vital contenders match against Defiance when Moonstrike pinned Blood
Commander Sam crushed Torpor in record time via the STAR SPANGLED BANNER. Then letting his hatred from the Earth/Cygnus war boil over he continued a frenzied attack on Torpor. Pulling out a pair of brass knuckles Torpor was savagely beaten before security pulled Sam off him. Several fans looked on disgusted as Torpor was stretchered away, this was something Omega and Morpheus had promised would not occur in the GWF
Santon the Loner maintained his edge over Screw nailing him with the SPIKE PILEDRIVER to win
Ricken Prince beat Bullwhip (with Blacklash at ringside)
Torin Caelum pinned Blacklash (with Bullwhip at ringside).
Card 9 – Luna Auditorium:
Galaxian champ, Omega, to the relief of the whole auditorium knocked back the challenge of Blacklash after smashing him with the TOMAHAWK THRUST. It was a humiliating loss for Blacklash and put the seal on a terrible night for Dorado Sundown
Morpheus returned to form with a super quick win over Bullwhip. Having turned his back on Bullwhip to adjust his boots in the corner Bullwhip tried to smash him from behind with a chair he’d thrown into the ring. Morpheus using his experience knew he’d try something like this and moved at the last second. Bullwhip whacked the buckle and the chair rebounded into his face allowing Morpheus to clean up
Torin Caelum and Ricken Prince beat the Mensans after Ricken Prince used BOW TO THE PRINCE on Trotarus. The crowd were actually cheering Ricken Prince in this one and he seemed to quite like it, guess the Mensans are pretty unpopular with the fans and to be honest who can blame them
Screw defeated KO Keller with the FREAKISH FACE SLAM
Santon the Loner got the verdict over Jammer by DQ
Moonstrike crushed Torpor and reminded everyone in the process that he is not just a tag wrestler but also a very capable singles wrestler.
GWF REPORT (2075 CARDS 5 - 8)
Champions:
*GWF Galaxian Champ: Omega
*GWF Tag Champs: The Guardians
Latest News:
Morpheus may of won the singles tournament back on #3 but he immediately dropped the belt to Omega in his first defense. And there are rumblings that he is un-impressed that Omega is being listed as first offical champ in the record books rather than himself. He was also hoping to get a rematch but instead Blacklash has been controversially announced as top contender by Omega. Morpheus, KO Keller, Santon and Torin Caelum are all unhappy that they have been overlooked. Morpheus is especially unhappy for a couple of reasons. Firstly, he was disappointed that Omega failed to come to his aid in his match with Blacklash when Bullwhip was running interference for his partner. Secondly, by giving Blacklash the title shot he thinks it’s playing right into Dorado Sundown’s hands to try and takeover, if they win the belt he fears they’ll take it straight back to Dorado and set up their own fed. Omega has just about managed to appease Morpheus for now. He is reasoning that by defeating Blacklash in such a big match it will take the wind out of their sails. Everyone is desperately hoping the plan doesn’t backfire, if Blacklash wins the belt the GWF could be over before it’s even got going. Elsewhere the bad feelings between the Mensans and Defiance remain, the scores are even at the moment despite the Mensans winning a high profile cage match. Blood is committed to beating them down especially Cordsar who continues to get under his skin with his constant whingeing. Ricken Prince has been getting booed by some of the fans at his matches, they seem to be unimpressed at his tendency to get DQ’d and consider his BOW TO THE PRINCE finisher to be extremely underhanded and smacking of self importance! The first ever GWF PPV is coming up on #11. It’s a risky move but Omega feels the GWF is popular enough to warrant one and done the deal with NETWORK DEIMOS to broadcast it. It’s being promoted as GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS. Hopefully it doesn’t bomb!
Card 8 – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
(After the card was finished Omega entered the ring wearing the Galaxian belt. He was here to end speculation over who he would be defending his title against on the next card. The crowd waited with baited breath as he grabbed the mic, paused a few seconds before saying that his challenge would come from Blacklash. Everyone was absolutely shocked by Omega’s bravado)
Blacklash benefited from Bullwhip’s interfering and inflicted a crushing loss on Morpheus with SUNDOWN. Morpheus singles form has really deserted him since winning the tournament to become the Galaxian champ. He has been telling everyone he is certain that Omega will give him a rematch and the chance to win back the belt but with three consecutive defeats he must be kidding himself if he thinks he is #1 contender
Santon the Loner beat Torin Caelum via the SPIKE PILEDRIVER to put a dent in Torin Caelum’s chances of getting a title shot. Santon is looking a very accomplished hardcore wrestler
The Mensans beat the Crosscurrents by DQ when Vortex dived into the ring whilst Trotarus had Thetis sqeauling in the MENSAN LOCK
Screw, battered and bloody, won an awesome battle over Commander Sam eventually finishing Sam with the FREAKISH FACE SLAM. It’s a vital win for Screw who has had mixed results so far. Like Ricken Prince big things are expected of him what with his POW reputation and so far he hasn’t delivered
Blood used SCAR TISSUE to put away Bullwhip
Ricken Prince beat Torpor by DQ. Despite the win Ricken Prince is having a wretched start to his GWF career!
Card 7 – Niagara Tower of Lights:
In a non-title match, Omega overcame Torpor via the COSMIC WAR DANCE
Paladin Power won over Dorado Sundown by DQ when Bullwhip lassoed the referee round the neck for what he believed were repeated slow counts in the match. When the announcer made the decision he snatched the mic and claimed they should be allowed to do what they want cos’ they own the GWF
Torin Caelum won a big match over Morpheus after applying CAELUM’S GRIP three times
KO Keller won a thrilling bout over Santon the Loner after nailing Santon with the TEN COUNT. He is in really hot form and must be a strong candidate to get the next shot at the Galaxian belt
Defiance evened the score by beating the Mensans when Jammer gave the big man Trotarus a BAD NIGHT
Commander Sam beat Ricken Prince by DQ after being made to BOW TO THE PRINCE.
Card 6 – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
Tag champs, the Guardians, beat Paladin Power by DQ when Dorado Sundown attacked the Guardians to ruin what had until then been an exciting and evenly contested match. The Titans are naturally furious with Dorado Sundown for costing them there chance to grab the belts and have vowed to help Omega and Morpheus run them out of the fed!
Santon the Loner seemed really charged up for his POW rules match against Screw and romped to victory
The Mensans overcame Defiance in a cage match. Cordsar immediately bragged they are the best team in the fed and is demanding a title shot now that Defiance have been put in their place. Blood on the other hand doesn’t think this is over yet!
Commander Sam beat Bullwhip by DQ when Blacklash attacked Sam outside the ring
KO Keller survived a stubborn offensive by Torpor to win after getting out of the way of a deathjump
Torin Caelum absolutely destroyed Ricken Prince finishing him off with CAELUM’S GRIP.
Card 5 – FIRST OFFICIAL CARD – Niagara Tower of Lights:
(Dorado Sundown had clearly poked their noses into this card. To the horror of Omega and UFSP delegates in the crowd the arena had been decorated in a saloon style and some fans were even chewing tobacco given out as freebies courtesy of none other than the disgusting Bullwhip!)
Omega defeated Morpheus after smashing him with the TOMAHAWK THRUST to become the Galaxian champ. The crowd loved it. As Morpheus came round he seemed angry that the public was making more of a celebration of Omega being the champ than they did of him. So when Omega tried to help him up he pushed him away. Some scattered boos broke out but then out of nowhere Dorado Sundown burst into the ring and started attacking Omega. They beat him down with his Galaxian belt. The crowd started pleading with Morpheus to help Omega, he dithered for a moment before rushing to the aid of his friend(?). From half way down the aisle he turned and hit the ring at breakneck speed leveling both Blacklash and Bullwhip with an awesome double arm closeline. He then helped Omega to his feet and handed him his title before stomping off. The somewhat uneasy ‘Guardian’ alliance continues
Santon the Loner used the SPIKE PILEDRIVER to put away Commander Sam
Paladin Power avenged their tournament exit by beating the Crosscurrents via the PALADIN MISSILE on Vortex. They have been labelled #1 contenders as a result of the win and will get a chance to go for the belts on the very next card
Dorado Sundown beat Defiance after Blood folded to TWELVE O’CLOCK HIGH. In a side note the Mensans started winding Defiance up in an interview the next day. Cordsar reportedly branded their performance as laughable!
KO Keller won a cracker over Screw
In the opener, the Mensans defeated the team of Torin Caelum and Ricken Prince when Cordsar snared Ricken Prince in the MENSAN LOCK. Despite a big reputation from his time in POW Ricken Prince has made a poor start to his GWF career.
GWF REPORT (2074 CARDS 1 - 4)
Champions:
GWF Galaxian Champ: Morpheus
GWF Tag Champs: The Guardians
Latest News:
Congrats to Morpheus on winning the singles tournament. He came through tough matches against Solar Flare, Torpor, Blacklash and Omega, his first defense will be against Omega on the next card! Omega and Morpheus have also linked up to try and fend Dorado Sundown off. The UFSP are not impressed with Dorado Sundown’s de-stabilising of the fed, and it’s putting Omega under pressure! Dorado Sundown are constantly ruining matches, interviews and broadcasts. They are trying to turn the public and UFSP off Omega and Morpheus’ running of the fed and then takeover when things are really fragile. They have also been attempting to drive a wedge between Omega and Morpheus which so far hasn’t worked, in fact it’s only succeeded in bringing them together in their ‘Guardian’ role. It prompted Omega and Morpheus to enter the tag team tournament as the Guardians and incredibly they won the tournament. There was a lot of bitterness at how they conveniently received a bye into the final. However the draw was there for all to see and even the UFSP agrees that there has been no favouritism, just the luck of the draw. One things certain though, Morpheus no matter what happens in his career will always be considered as a GWF legend for being the first champ and also holding the tag belts at the same time. An incredible achievment! Cordsar is bitter over being denied entry to the singles tournament. He has been constantly blabbering on about it to anyone who’ll listen and even suggested that Omega and Morpheus are discriminating against Mensans by not giving them a fair shake. Blood is reportedly fed up with Cordsar’s whingeing and is threatening to shut the Mensan’s mouth up. A challenge has been issued and on card #6 a first ever cage match will be scheduled between Defiance and the Mensans. Although feuding is highly discouraged this looks like it has the ingredients to break out into one. Everyone is relieved that Jack Hood has been banned from competing in the GWF. Despite his pleas Omega wouldn’t give in and told him he could only join if he could beat him in POW rules match. Both fought an incredible match but thankfully Jack failed in his attempts. He is now back on Pleaides trying to keep POW going and issuing challenges to GWF wrestlers to face him. Will anyone be silly enough to take the challenge? Hopefully if the GWF takes off properly it can force the scummy POW out of business. Most of it’s top stars have left to compete in the GWF after all so it may not be able to last out much longer. In a final note the fierce warrior type chap seen competing has been forced to take an identity in the GWF. He is trying to keep his real name and where he comes from a secret. This has frustrated Omega who has decided to refer to him as ‘Santon’ which basically means ‘Loner’. The first official GWF card is coming up next from the Niagara Tower of Lights on Earth --- Morpheus vs. Omega (Galaxian title match); Santon the Loner vs. Commander Sam; Paladin Power vs. The Crosscurrents; Dorado Sundown vs. Defiance; Screw vs. KO Keller; Torin Caelum and Ricken Prince vs. The Mensans. Of course all of the matches are subject to any last minute alterations. Card #6 is back at the Deimos Intergalactic Arena and features some big matches too --- The Guardians vs. challengers to be determined (Tag title match); Defiance vs. The Mensans (Cage match); Screw vs. Santon the Loner (POW rules); Bullwhip vs. Commander Sam (Blacklash banned from being at ringside); Torpor vs. KO Keller; Torin Caelum vs. Ricken Prince.
Card 4 – TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
(All matches using POW rules)
First Round:
Dorado Sundown overcame Commander Sam and KO Keller after nailing a bloody Sam with the RUSTLER’S STAMPEDE
Defiance overcame the Mensans after Jammer used BAD NIGHT to put Trotarus’ lights out
The Guardians progressed past Torin Caelum and Ricken Prince when Omega downed Ricken Prince with the COSMIC WAR DANCE
Tournament favourites Paladin Power and the Crosscurrents fought to a time limit draw meaning the Guardians receive a bye into the final. Dorado Sundown are claiming corruption, they are using it as yet another excuse as to why they should take this fed over. The Mensans, especially Cordsar, are also rumoured to be very unhappy about it.
Second Round:
Defiance stunned Dorado Sundown with a quickfire win when Jammer put Bullwhip to sleep with BAD NIGHT to set up their final match against the Guardians
Final:
The Guardians overcame Defiance when Morpheus pinned Blood to become the first ever tag champs. Morpheus looked ecstatic and grabbed both the belts from the referee. He posed for a couple of minutes with them and seemed very reluctant to hand Omega his half of the title. Seems that he doesn’t like sharing the spotlight with Omega! But whatever happens in the future of the GWF Morpheus will always be a legend for holding both belts simultaneously.
Card 3 – SINGLES TOURNAMENT – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
(All matches using POW rules)
First Round:
Omega struggled to victory against Trotarus but he eventually finished him with the COSMIC WAR DANCE
Bullwhip made a huge comeback to upset KO Keller with TWELVE O’CLOCK HIGH
Jammer pulled off an upset to eliminate the highly fancied Ricken Prince
Screw won a bruising battle with Blood using the FREAKISH FACE SLAM
Morpheus will count himself very lucky to edge past Solar Flare after smashing him with TRIP TO HADES. The Titan missed with the PALADIN MISSILE an incredible THREE times
Torpor avenged his loss on the opening card to Commander Sam to beat him after launching the CYGNUS AIR RAID
Torin Caelum was really impressive as he used CAELUM’S GRIP to blitz Moonstrike
Blacklash progressed past Santon the Loner after using SUNDOWN to seal a quick and surprisingly easy first round win;
Second Round:
Omega defeated Bullwhip using the COSMIC WAR DANCE. The crowd loved it, he’s got to be the big favourite to win the tournament
Screw overcame Jammer with an awesome piledriver to set up a mouth watering clash with Omega
Morpheus comfortably despatched Torpor to reach the last four
Blacklash beat Torin Caelum to go through. His progress will worry Omega;
Third Round:
Omega reached the championship match with a hard fought win over Screw. Again he used the COSMIC WAR DANCE to get the job done. It was an awesome match
Despite a massive pummelling Morpheus made an unbelievable comeback to finish Blacklash off with TRIP TO HADES;
Final:
Morpheus won an awesome battle against Omega via a cobra grip to become the first ever Galaxian champ. He must count himself lucky because he benefited from Dorado Sundown’s meddling. They rumbled the match and sneaked down to ringside. Blacklash crouched down by the ring apron away from the referee’s eye whilst Bullwhip stood at the bottom of the aisle preventing anyone getting past. The match had swung back and forth several times but Omega eventually found himself on a roll. As he tried to throw himself off the ropes Blacklash snagged his foot and Omega went down real hard. It allowed Morpheus to take over and he eventually put Omega away. Nobody in the ring was sure what happened as Blacklash had quickly sneaked away from the scene. Morpheus didn’t care though, he snatched the Galaxian belt from the ref and looked down at it. Sweat dripped onto the gleaming prize before he held it aloft. The cheers of the crowd seemed fairly muted, most of them had seen what happened and considered it a tainted victory. In their eyes Omega should have been the one standing there with the belt.
Card 2 – EXHIBITION CARD – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
(This card featured a draw for the forthcoming tournaments. A table was set up in the middle of the ring and Omega revealed the pairings to an excited crowd leaving many talking points)
The Guardians covered in tobacco juice from Bullwhip spitting on them before the match gained a significant victory over Dorado Sundown. Morpheus won it for them after sending Bullwhip on a TRIP TO HADES. The two wild hombres were furious and are vowing to get revenge
Commander Sam won over Solar Flare after hitting the STAR SPANGLED BANNER. He then entertained the crowd by belting out the anthem to celebrate. He looks a hot prospect in the GWF with two impressive victories
Torin Caelum survived the SPIKE PILEDRIVER twice and won over Santon the Loner by DQ when Santon tried a top rope maneuver and crashed into the ref. It was interesting to see that already Torin had built a good fan base as he got a good pop from the crowd
KO Keller put Torpor away with the TEN COUNT for a second consecutive win
Ricken Prince beat Moonstrike by DQ when Dorado Sundown ruined the match by attacking the referee and then claiming that Moonstrike had helped them gang up on him
Defiance beat the Crosscurrents by count-out. The Crosscurrents have declined entry to the forthcoming singles tournament to concentrate on tag matches instead but they have not been at all impressive in their opening two matches.
Card 1 – EXHIBITION CARD – Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
(It was a highly successful first ever GWF card but Dorado Sundown’s actions had dominated the news. Everyone knows that Omega and Morpheus haven’t been getting on for all sorts of reasons such as different outlooks on the fed’s direction, an intense rivalry between them and even bickering over the draw for the forthcoming tournament. Some are even saying they hate eachother. But in the wake of tonight’s events they are taking Dorado Sundown’s threats very seriously. In a post card interview they both announced they will do everything they can to protect the fed they have both worked so hard to create and will be forming an alliance to become ‘Guardians’ of the GWF. Many are suggesting that nobody else but these two tough hombres from Dorado could force them together as a team. Not even the disgusting Jack Hood!)
In a POW rules match Omega won a classic battle against the hated Jack Hood eventually laying him out with the TOMAHAWK THRUST. When he came round Jack grabbed a microphone and demanded he be allowed to stay in the GWF and compete in the forthcoming tournament. This was never going to be allowed and within moments about a dozen hired goons removed Jack from the ring with great difficulty. The last thing Jack could be heard shouting was something about GWF wrestlers being challenged to come to Pleiades and face him. It was a vital win for Omega as Jack’s corrupt attitude would of caused all sorts of problems. However Omega can’t relax as he has Dorado Sundown to deal with now
Santon the Loner beat Morpheus by DQ when Dorado Sundown started circling the ring on horseback yelling takeover threats. Morpheus flipped out and went after them with a chair but they were too fast for him. The crowd hissed their disapproval as they had ruined an intriguing match
Dorado Sundown beat the Crosscurrents in under a minute when Blacklash finished Vortex with SUNDOWN. They then strutted round like they owned the place and irritated everyone by yelling “Yee-Haa, we’re gonna take over this fed!” This will not go down well with Omega and Morpheus
KO Keller impressed with a convincing win over the intimidating Ricken Prince. Both men are grizzled veterans of POW and come into the GWF on the back of big reputations
Commander Sam easily put away his old war enemy Torpor via the STAR SPANGLED BANNER. This will not be the last time these two lock horns. Let’s just hope that they keep their vendetta inside the ring. It will not impress the UFSP if their rivalry spills over
In the first ever GWF match Paladin Power crushed Defiance after Moonstrike nailed Blood with the PALADIN DROP. It had been an exciting opener although a little one-sided, a good advert for the newly formed GWF!

Posting again, cards the right way up this time ...
Card 79 - Mira Galaxy Dome:
Tag champs, the Estorians, beat the Gamemasters by DQ. Star Warrior continues to cope well with his long term injury but had to leave most of the action to partner Cosmos in this one. Cosmos battles hard but gets a little too eager and draws a DQ loss. Missed chance for the youngsters
KO Keller beats Mimic with THE TEN COUNT; Defiance against Polarity ends double DQ. Sin steams in with a metal bar attacking Jammer who was pinning Salvation at the time. Blood piles into the action with a chair. No option for the ref to call time on proceedings
Moonstrike makes huge strides in his singles ranking by crushing Caiman with PALADIN DROP
Commander Sam beat Hechilles with SAM’S ATOMIC DROP
Silvar beat Rama by count-out in front of an audience of less than 50 people. Most people were not excited for the opener and were arriving fashionably late for the show’s bigger match ups.
Card 80 - Mira Galaxy Dome:
Galatian champ, Omega, keeps the home crowd happy beating Torin Caelum in a few moves with TOMAHAWK THRUST. Omega looking simply unbeatable
Polarity get their first win beating the Crosscurrents by DQ. Thetis is in trouble after being hit with KNUCKLE SANDWICH and then FIGURE EIGHT ROLL UP. Vortex makes the pin save but runs into an intolerant ref
Paladin Power against Hechilles and Caiman ends a draw as time expires. Classic action between two well matched teams. They couldn’t be split despite plenty of thrills. The Paladins work the pin saves well as it allows them to survive both THE END and HANDICAPPER. Handshakes all round at the end
Commander Sam defeated Jammer with SAM’S ATOMIC DROP to stay hot. Sam wants a shot at Galaxian belt
KO Keller beat Cosmos by DQ in a match of failed finishers. Cosmos clearly doesn’t agree with decision and turns over a table in frustration as he leaves
Blood takes a really impressive victory over Mighty Grogan.
Card 81 - Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
Omega beat Silvar in a non-title bout. Silvar gives a good effort but botches a turnbuckle charge and flies out of the ring. The fall hurts him and he is nearly counted-out. He makes it back in the ring but is a sitting duck for TOMAHAWK THRUST
Red Planet Rockers overcome the Crosscurrents by DQ. In their hometown the Wind Riders are calling themselves by different names to appeal to the locals. Tonight they are the Red Planet Rockers. Match is a dazzling spectacle between the two most natural and fluid teams in the GWF. Both with moments where they ride their luck. Rama and Tano win they link up to perform DEIMOS DRIVER on Vortex. The pin is imminent but Thetis comes and bashes the covering Rama with his forked weapon
Hechilles and Caiman beat Jammer and Mighty Grogan by DQ. Unconventional pairing as Jammer teams with Grogan for a change of pace. The pair look awkward together and they slump to a lame DQ loss. Grogan prefers pure mat wrestling so didn’t seem too impressed with Jammer’s more hardcore style
Commander Sam takes less than a minute to dispose of Mimic via SAM’S ATOMIC DROP. Popularity mounting for Sam with red form and subsequent march towards a title shot. Fans very much on board as they chant ‘USA, USA’ in tandem with Sam’s proud flag waving
Cosmos beat Salvation with MASTERLOCK. Cosmos nearly wins in less than ten seconds after Salvation ran into a turnbuckle. Close shave for Salvation who recovers well and is arguably the better wrestler. However Cosmos is gaining experience all the time and wins ugly
KO Keller defeated Tantalis. Rocky match for Keller but he manages to avoid an upset after Tantalis walks right into THE TEN COUNT.
Card 82 - Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
The Estorians beat Polarity in a non-title match. Salvation had just been nailed with SUPERKICK. The dastardly Sin tried to break the pin by smashing Tantalis with a loaded glove. Tantalis moves and Salvation is knocked out cold. Parsec then starts to brawl with Sin whilst the bemused official counts the pin again
Paladin Power beat the Local Boyz (aka the Wind Riders). Moonstrike catches Rama cold. Disappointment for the home fans but they still give them a great ovation
Mangus makes his return and crushes Caiman with THE ANNIHILATOR. He later says Commander Sam better watch his back as he will be doing all he can to stop him winning the Galaxian belt
Mighty Grogan manages to overpower Silvar in their meeting. All fought in a good spirit and Silvar congratulates Grogan saying “it’s only a matter of time before he wins the Heavyweight belt”
Blood beats Jammer by DQ. Partners settle competitive urges. Blood gets the bragging rights but the story of the match showed Jammer was superior. Guess the outcome means neither lost face
Cosmos and Jammer cannot be split as double DQ is ruled. Decent match and Cosmos enjoying singles action whilst his partner, Star Warrior, struggles with injury. Cosmos said “great match tonight but don’t know why the ref stopped it. We were just having a competitive brawl”.
GWF REPORT (2081 CARDS 79 - 82)
Champions:
*GWF Galaxian Champ: Omega
*GWF Tag Champs: The Estorians
Latest News:
In a shock interview at the last card Torin Caelum has decided to hang up his wrestling tights! Years of beatings in the defunct POW and now the GWF have taken their toll and he wants to leave while he is still in pretty good shape. He will be staying connected though as he is intending to open a wrestling school on his homeworld of Sagitta. Best of luck to a man that is a true GWF legend. One wonders what would of happened had he beaten Omega on #80. Would he have retired with the belt? Returning to his role as talent spotter for the fed Morpheus has quickly filled the gaps from the recent departures of Torin Caelum and Ricken Prince. Returning to Pleiades, home of the defunct POW, he has found two willing combatants known as Sin and Salvation who will form a unique tag team called Polarity. Sin, will be familiar to the crowds who saw his deceitful tactics at part of the GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS PPV. Incredibly both men are complete opposites, a common way of working together in Pleiades, as Salvation will go down as one of the most honourable men ever to wrestle whilst Sin (as seen) is a conniving, deceitful cheat. Strangely as is custom on Pleiades neither man will impose their way of wrestling on the other. Polarity will be an intriguing team to watch. Both wrestlers allegedly featured in the recent POW PUNCH UP TOURNAMENT and are rumoured to of performed credibly. No results have been reported though. There is rumour that both Jack Hood and his old bodyguard, Blotto, were also on the bill. Already Polarity has challenged the Gamemasters and the Estorians to try and prove themselves as quickly as possible! Omega insistent on a handshake before every match. He wants to promote good natured combat in the ring wherever possible. Recent years have been a bit feisty with some bad tempered feuds boiling over. His belt reign is looking unstoppable but his good friend, Commander Sam, has worked himself into the contender spot. Omega welcomes the challenge, “it would an honour to wrestle Sam. He deserves his spot in the limelight”. Despite some of the departures Omega is rebelling in the more settled atmosphere of the GWF.
INJURED - Morpheus (1); Mangus (1); Star Warrior (4)

Card 83 - Ceres Amphitheater:
Moonstrike beat Omega by DQ in a non-title confrontation. Omega warming up for his big upcoming title defense meets a stiff test here. Out of character for Omega he follows Moonstrike outside despite a warning from the ref. Making an example out of Omega the ref perhaps harshly calls for the bell and annoys the crowd
Commander Sam brushes aside Sin. Commander Sam comes flying to the ring amid deafening rock music. Even the cheating skullduggery of Sin can’t stop him. Sin doesn’t know what hit him as a Commander Slam finishes him
Defiance come out tops against the Wind Riders. Entertaining tussle where the Wind Riders try to turn on the style. One memorable moment is when Jammer tries to kick Rama who catches his foot and nails a spectacular scissor kick in one swift movement. Defiance ride out the eye candy attacks and in the end are too strong. Blood beating Rama with Bloodbath
Salvation easily handles Vortex. Proves the Crosscurrents don’t cope well in singles action
Mimic beats Solar Flare in an upset. Solar Flare seemed to be distracted by Mimic’s clowning around
Cosmos continues to make waves by easily beating Silvar. Though he was argumentative with the ref claiming Silvar had tapped out of MASTERLOCK much earlier in the match. Needs to watch these sulking tantrums.
Card 84 - Ceres Amphitheater:
Tag champs, the Estorians, lost to Paladin Power by DQ. Frustrated Paladins asking for a rematch to be fought with POW rules
Omega and Commander Sam beat Hechilles and Caiman. Just one card before their big title match Sam and Omega team up. Their link up is all about what the GWF stands for. Sam continues his incredible run and is the hero for his team finishing Hechilles with SAM’S ATOMIC DROP. Caiman and Omega barely saw any action
Mangus defeated Cosmos. Resilient effort by Cosmos who kicks out after THE ANNIHILATOR twice but then gets caught with a neckbreaker
Mighty Grogan over Jammer by DQ. Bit of a snooze as Grogan’s Olympic style stifles Jammer’s hardcore efforts
Blood defeated Moonstrike with SCAR TISSUE
Salvation pinned Silvar following FIGURE EIGHT ROLL UP.
Card 85 - Luna Auditorium:
Galaxian champ, Omega, overcame Commander Sam. Great match with Sam certainly giving Omega the biggest run for his money in a while. Omega has to dig deep but eventually uses an Indian Death Lock to keep hold of the belt. During the match Mangus comes to ringside. His stealth goes unnoticed by Sam. Strangely he doesn’t attack but takes the American flag and leaves the Cygnusian one. Sam is puzzled at the end when he cannot find it. Sam later claims Mangus is deluded if he thinks the Cygnus flag is some kind of Kryptonite. “He has read too many comics”
The Estorians go over the Wind Riders by DQ in a non-title match. The Estorians get a bit of a pasting and are fortunate to win. Surprising as this was expected to be easy pickings for them
Solar Flare triumphs against Blood. Fans expecting a hardcore battle but Solar Flare has Blood completely in his pocket throughout
Mimic upsets Sin with MIME NERVE SLEEPER. Sin finds Mimic’s copycat tactics unnerving. It’s amusing to see Mimic cheating and acting all unhinged just like his opponent
The Crosscurrents beat Cosmos and Silvar. Thetis pins Silvar to end it. Cosmos is not happy, first he sees MASTERLOCK fail on Thetis who somehow wriggles free and then he puts the blame on Silvar for costing them the match and their pay day. He moans “if Omega wants me to wrestle tag bouts he needs to give me a reliable partner. No offence but Silvar is over the hill”
Caiman beat Jammer after HANDICAPPER.
Card 86 - Luna Auditorium:
POW rules, Paladin Power defeat the Estorians to win the tag belts. Rematch booked after the previous unclean finish. The Paladins are not to be denied as Solar Flare pins Tantalis. It’s the fourth time they’ve managed to win the straps but so far only one of those runs did they manage to keep hold the belts. They aim for better this time
Jammer beats Salvation with BAD NIGHT (4 times he used it in the match). Fans applaud the combatants for a fantastic tussle wrestled in the true spirit of the GWF
Omega and Commander Sam link up to beat the Wind Riders. The crowd favourites link up. They took a while to get their rhythm but Omega eventually ends brave resistance of Rama via COSMIC WAR DANCE
Sin defeated Mighty Grogan with KNUCKLE SANDWICH
Mangus stops Caiman with a neckbreaker and moves close to a title shot
Hechilles pummels Mimic finishing with THE END.

*GWF Tag Champs: Paladin Power
Latest News:
Dark cloud lifted from Star Warrior as he reports he has been given a clean bill of health and is now finally injury free and looking forward to getting back to action properly. Galaxy fan response to his lay off has been incredible with thousands of get well cards and letters being sent. Star Warrior says they have all been gratefully received and he tries to reply to as many as possible. Cosmos role is now changing again as a result of his partner’s recovery. He grudgingly puts his singles aspirations on hold to pursue the tag belts as part of the Gamemasters. Shame that as he was getting a good run going. First match will be against their big rivals the Estorians.
Commander Sam and Mangus feud heating up again. Sam trying to bring a fun philosophy to matches by being aggressive, exciting, energetic and belting out classic 1980s American rock tracks on his ring entrances whilst waving the flag. Mangus sneaks to ringside during the Galaxian belt bout and steals the flag believing that without it Sam will become weaker and distracted. Whether it affected him in his big title match is debatable but it certainly caused Sam momentary consternation. Mangus later goes on TV for a promo and burns it. Sam is incensed and says Mangus has crossed the line. He will rebuild his confidence by punishing the Cygnusian and getting rid of him from the GWF. Trouble is Mangus may well be wearing the Galaxian belt around his waist when he next gets his hands on him. Mangus has moved into the top contender spot and will challenge Omega. Upon learning this Sam offered to be in Omega’s corner for the match. Omega pondered but refused as he prefers to wrestle in the boundaries he envisions for the fed, alone and without any assistance

Card 87 - GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS 6 - Titan Sportatorium:
(The event continues to get bigger and bigger every year. There is a huge fireworks display before and after the event. The next day there is a concert at the Sportatorium featuring Galactic hits. Many of the wrestlers let their hair down and get into the spirit of things)
MAIN EVENTS
Galaxian champ, Omega, defeated Mangus with TOMAHAWK THRUST. Nobody seems able to beat him although in this one Mangus goes crazy at the ref. Having been hit with Omega’s famed finisher he actually kicks our a millisecond after the 3. Mangus claims shoddy officiating and bias do Omega
Tag champs, Paladin Power, lost to Defiance by DQ. Paladins should of won after Moonstrike hit Blood with PALADIN DROP early but Jammer made a run in. Moonstrike was frustrated and it was probably why he threw Blood into the announcer table when the action spilled outside. The result means an imminent rematch. Will it be POW rules?
MIDCARD
Mighty Grogan beats Sin by DQ. Grogan having already lost to Sin via an illegal move on #86 is desperate to win tonight and teach some ring manners. He does win but not in the way he wanted and will be seeking more matches against him. He will seek a partner to help him in tag matches against Polarity too
The Gamemasters beat the Estorians by DQ. Last time they met the pace was frantic but both teams are more cautious this time and things go at a more normal pace. The longer the match goes the more momentum the Gamemasters get and they start to look really in sync but they just can’t finish their opponents. The CETUS SLEEPER (several times) and MASTERLOCK can’t finish it for them due to a combo of crooked tactics and high endurance from the Estorians. Parsec loses the match in the end for an outside attack and the Gamemasters feel cheated they couldn’t get the clean victory their efforts deserved
Salvation best Commander Sam with FIGURE EIGHT ROLL UP. Dissapointment for Sam who after a hot run of victories is dipping
Silvar and Mimic beat the Wind Riders by DQ. Rama and Tano are very popular with the fans with their glitzy attire and slick moves always leaving an impression. They make a big entrance with high fives all round and somersaulting into the ring. Trouble is they have a soft centre and are vulnerable to upsets. Just like tonight as they dominate the match but cannot get the pin. Rama then makes a mistake as Silvar gets knocked out for the ring. He goes to the top of the turnbuckle to hit an awesome death defying dropkick against the refs wishes. An amazing impact but Silvar goes crashing through the rails and right into the first row of the crowd. The angry ref calls time on the match
UNDERCARD
Hechilles survives a scare to beat Thetis with THE END. These two matches were largely just filler matches as the GWF struggles with a small roster and books two singles bouts instead of a tag bout. Both Hechilles and Caiman are ready to strike up a rivalry with the Crosscurrents. Hechilles gives Thetis a backhanded compliment in the aftermath by saying he was surprised at how slippery a customer Thetis was
Caiman beat Vortex with HANDICAPPER. Great match to open the event.
Card 88 - Venus Space Station Complex:
Commander Sam battles to a hard earned win over Blood. Sam digs deep inside and manages to eventually come through with SAM’S ATOMIC DROP and break his losing run. Sam is back! He points to the back and shouts ‘Mangus you’re next’
Mighty Grogan and Omega humiliate Polarity. Omega shocks Sin in one move by immediately picking him up in a Cetus Suplex and pinning him
Star Warrior grabs a stunning win over Mangus. He survived THE ANNIHILATOR early and gives probably his greatest GWF performance of his short career. Mangus really struggles and is slowed down by repeated stints in CETUS SLEEPER. It’s still a massive surprise when Star Warrior nails a Nova Blast to pin him. The roof comes off and several stars like Omega, Commander Sam and Hechilles pay homage to Star Warrior for his performance. Tellingly there is no comment from Cosmos who some suggest to be jealous
The Crosscurrents beat the Estorians by DQ. The Estorians have gone from being champs to plummeting to the bottom of the tag rankings. They are losing alarming amount of matches by DQ. Parsec was giving a Vortex a torrid time but got carried away and blew the match from a dominating position. Rumblings the elders of Estoria are unhappy and considering summoning them from the GWF
Moonstrike beat Jammer with PALADIN DROP. Heated stuff as there is a big rivalry brewing with the tag belts at stake. Jammer hard done by as he used BAD NIGHT countless times but it doesn’t get the job done and Moonstrike comes back. Good setup for the Paladins-Defiance match
Hechilles defeated Tano with THE END. Hechilles struggles with these quick tag specialists but labours to the win.
Card 89 - Charon Ice Castle:
Tag champs, Paladin Power, defeat Defiance after Solar Flare connects with PALADIN MISSILE on Blood. Defiance’s solid run at the belts is ended for now and they must step aside for new challengers
Mighty Grogan goes over Sin. Long struggle but in the Grogan’s power proves too much for Sin to handle
The Gamemasters easily best Mimic and Silvar. Funky moves by Mimic before the bell as he dances about but Cosmos grows impatient and smashes him to end the skit. Cosmos means business but it’s his partner, Star Warrior, who take the plaudits by locking CETUS SLEEPER successfully on Silvar
Hechilles barely gives Mangus a sniff in a dominant win. Mangus still suffering a hangover from his failure to win the main belt. That’s three losses on the bounce now
Caiman beat Thetis by DQ. Vortex is at ringside (presumably because the Crosscurrents are so hopeless in singles action) and interferes after his partner is blasted with HANDICAPPER. Caiman vents, he is strongly against other wrestlers being at ringside
Salvation beats KO Keller by DQ. Keller back after a long rest. He looks refreshed but narrowly loses a very competitive battle. Fans enjoyed and chant ‘Rematch, Rematch’.
Card 90 - Charon Ice Castle:
Omega beat Sin by DQ in a non-title match. The cheating goes up a level from Sin (if that’s even possible) as he remembers how Omega humiliated him with a one move victory last time they locked horns in tag action. Biting, choking, raking, concealed weapons. You name it, Sin did it. Like the true champ he is Omega emerges with the win even if it’s only because Sin lost control. At one point Omega got blasted with KNUCKLE SANDWICH and it looked curtains but somehow he got a foot snagged on the ropes. Everyone stood up in amazement. Sin was so aggrieved he assaulted the ref leading to his loss. Omega has only just escaped defeat because he was bleeding and might not is survived much longer. Surely it is not the end of this
Cage match, Mangus escapes against Commander Sam after THE ANNIHILATOR. Nice build for this, Sam cutting great promos with the memorable line being “tonight I’m taking the trash out of the GWF. Just like my great nation has done with many evil dictators in the last. Wham, bam, thank you Sam!” Mangus during back accusations of Sam and his fellow soldiers mistreating Cygnusian prisoners during the Galactic Wars and the deaths of innocent beings on many planets within his home system. The bad blood intensity is off the chart and in a cage there is no hiding place. Sadly the build up is better than the match. Sam tries to start fast with an impressive opening salvo but Mangus picks him off. Within a few minutes he is setting up his finisher and despite a desperate effort to get to his feet in time Sam cannot stop Mangus going over the cage
Salvation wins against Mighty Grogan. Poor Grogan missed a turnbuckle charge early and collided with the ring post. He damages his shoulder and literally has to wrestle the remainder with one arms. It’s a noble effort and he racks up 6 tokens before he eventually succumbs to FIGURE EIGHT ROLL UP
Hechilles and Caiman beat the Crosscurrents by DQ. Hechilles and Caiman show a surprise turn of speed in dealing with their slippery opponents. They win when Caiman uses HANDICAPPER on Vortex and Thetis pulls the ref out of the ring to break the count
The Gamemasters versus the Wind Riders draw as time expires. Great match between the two quickest and dynamic teams. Fan support is firmly split down the middle. Neither team can find the killer move though despite Star Warrior’s use of CETUS SLEEPER. He was also on the end of DEIMOS DRIVER but kicked out of it
KO Keller beat Blood by count-out to end a long bruising bout. He floors Blood with a punch outside. Blood is seeing stars, tries to get back in the ring but is so dazed he staggers and falls over the railings into the crowd. Keller is a bit bummed it ended this way as he wanted to finish it inside the ring but admitted Blood is a tough cookie and it took one hell of a punch to beat him.
GWF REPORT (2081 CARDS 87 - 90)
Champions:
*GWF Galaxian Champ: Omega
*GWF Tag Champs: Paladin Power
Latest News:
The end of year awards are dominated by Omega. Most popular and wrestler of the year. Sin’s entry to the fed and immediate capture of most hated moniker shows how the fans are reacting to his spiteful style. The interesting thing is his tag partner and polar opposite Salvation almost manages to scoop the most popular award. Paladin Power pip the Estorians to win the tag award.
Looking at the title situation, Omega’s 4th title run is now at an amazing 27 cards. That is a period of over two years and he will be looking to extend that to 29 in his next defense against Hechilles. Nobody seems to be anywhere near his level at the moment. Whilst it’s good for Omega perhaps it’s not so healthy for the competitive level of the GWF to have one guy so on top. Morpheus will be wanting to work hard on bringing new talent in to challenge him as he certainly cannot he happy that his rival has such a stranglehold on the belt. In tag there are currently 6 regular teams vying for the belts and it is much more open. Currently Paladin Power are doing a good job holding the belts and recently saw off a tough challenge from Defiance. There is excitement that the Gamemasters are back together and they are seen as potential champions of the future even if Cosmos can be a bit moody at times. Things setup for an exciting 2082 and hopefully more talent recruits on the way but the GWF seems to be continuing to put on a good show and is riding out some of the obstacles it has. Long live the GWF!
End of Year Awards: WRESTLER OF THE YEAR – Omega (runner up: Commander Sam) TAG TEAM OF THE YEAR – Paladin Power (runners up: The Estorians) MOST POPULAR – Omega (runner up: Salvation) MOST HATED – Sin (runner up: Mangus)

Card 91 - Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
Tag champs, Paladin Power, crush the Crosscurrents. Solar Flare blasts Vortex with PALADIN MISSILE. Poor Vortex really in the wars as earlier he’d been poleaxed with Moonstrike’s PALADIN DROP and had only survived on a pin save KO Keller defeated Salvation. Fantastic seesaw grappling until Sin sticks his nose in. True to their opposites Salvation does nothing to stop him. Sin bursts in and charges at Keller with a chair but ends up swinging at thin air. Keller ducks under it and then levels him with one punch. Ref is about to call the DQ but Keller convinces him to let it continue. Salvation eventually drops after being hit with a running hammer but it was a slog for Keller. Both had used their finishers several times throughout
The Gamemasters overcome the Spin Masters (aka the Wind Riders). The locals loving the name changes. Another terrific battle between these two teams who are closely matched whenever they meet. Cosmos winning against Rama after repeated application of MASTERLOCK
Mangus humiliates Commander Sam in two moves. Mangus catches Sam before the bell with a move he refers to as Mangus Destroyer. Sam is immediately rattled and falls through the ropes. Mangus wastes no time in pitching him back in and mangles Sam with THE ANNIHILATOR. Game over for Sam who has lost big in two consecutive meetings
Blood batters Hechilles and uses SCAR TISSUE for an easy win. Hechilles confidence has taken a knock which is bad timing considering he is scheduled to go for the Galaxian belt on the next card
Mimic beats Caiman with MIME NERVE SLEEPER more or less out of nowhere.
Card 92 - Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
Galaxian champ, Omega, comes through a tough defense against Hechilles. Once again TOMAHAWK THRUST does not let him down and Omega continues to reign supreme
The Deimos Dazzlers (aka the Wind Riders) upset Defiance. The fast tags of the Dazzlers frustrate Defiance and a lengthy battle ends with Jammer falling to DEIMOS DRIVER
The Gamemasters beat the Crosscurrents by count-out. Cosmos sent to a WATERY GRAVE during the duel but his partner helps him stay in the match. The Gamemasters fight back to a count-out victory against Thetis with Star Warrior again looking the better wrestler for his team
Mighty Grogan over Mimic by DQ. Mimic seen as a dangerous opponent after recent upset wins and when he breaks out of UPPER CRUSH with the help of a foreign object it looks like a another one might be on the cards. However he blows it by then attacking the ref because he won’t co-operate with a silly mime demo
Mangus gets a scare beating Silvar by count-out. Silvar makes impressive efforts not to get pinned despite Mangus using THE ANNIHILATOR twice. The moves do take a lot out of him though and he later conks out under a barrage of blows during an outside melee
Commander Sam pinned Moonstrike. Despite being a tag champion Moonstrike still holds singles action in high regard and rates himself as a top performer. Sam puts him in his place though with a quick three move victory.
***IN THE NEWS***
Omega wants to wrestle Sin and experience what many people have been moaning about. The cheating and spiteful tactics have caused consternation within the GWF. Omega reasons that the best way in which to punish such behaviour is a fair and square beating inside the ring. The Gamemasters have been promised a shot at the tag belts if they can beat both Defiance and Polarity in the upcoming cards. Lots of people are waiting for them to realise their potential.
Card 93 - Niagara Tower of Lights:
Omega defeated Sin in a non-title match. Omega under scrutiny in this match as he just about won their last meeting. Once again Sin proves to be a thorn in his side by kicking out of TOMAHAWK THRUST. Omega reacts by re-evaluating his tactics on the fly and gets the win with a scorpion death lock
The Gamemasters heap misery on Defiance who are currently misfiring badly. Before the match the young Gamemasters were pushing hard to become top contenders to the tag belts. Maybe just one win away from achieving it after Star Warrior puts Blood’s lights out with CETUS SLEEPER
The Estorians comfortable in beating Commander Sam and Silvar. Estorians far too slick for their makeshift opponents with Parsec casually pinning Silvar
Solar Flare wins over KO Keller by DQ. Keller made to work really hard by his Titan opponent but will still feel hard done by on the outcome. He unloaded TEN COUNT twice in the match but Solar Flare can sure take some punishment and keep in a match. Keller lets these failures to finish the match get inside his head and is admonished by the ref for getting too heavy handed. When he smashes Solar Flare into a ring post it is one transgression too many and the bell goes off. Disappointment for KO Keller but he gets an unexpected boost later when Omega casts him as the next opponent to challenge for the belt. Keller has held the gold before but it seems a long time ago now
Caiman scores a big count-out victory over Mighty Grogan
Salvation pinned Rama with a sunset flip. Rama’s agility not enough to mask his shortcomings as a singles wrestler.
Card 94 - Niagara Tower of Lights:
The main match between Polarity and the Gamemasters ends in double DQ. Recently the Gamemasters have found the winning formula but that run is broken as match ends in chaos. Star Warrior had been cut off and had trouble tagging out. This went on a long time and Cosmos was fed up with Sin’s cheating. So when his partner was caught in Salvation’s FIGURE EIGHT ROLL UP he wasted no time breaking the pin attempt. Of course Sin takes that as cue to steam in too but he took it a step further as a he brandished a small chain he had hidden in his singlet. Cosmos managed to stun him causing the chain to drop to the floor. Cosmos then wrapped it round his fist and knocked Sin down with it. Bad blood brewing between these two teams and I am sure Sin will remember Cosmos doing this to him
Mighty Grogan crushes Mimic after just a handful of moves. Another meeting as a Grogan has taken exception to Mimic’s in ring antics and wants a second chance to get it out of his system. Mimic sent a memo back accepting the challenge (remember he never speaks). Much more satisfying outcome this time as Grogan leaves Mimic unable to breathe in UPPER CRUSH
Moonstrike stumbles to victory over Silvar. Despite his tag team commitments as a co-champ Moonstrike is still wittering on about how he wants to be recognised (and ultimately remembered) as a great singles wrestler. His last loss to Commander Sam in such one-sided fashion has been bothering him greatly so he has quickly lobbied for another singles match. He wanted to wrestle him again but Sam has other commitments so he has to settle for Silvar. If he thought it’d be a walkover he was wrong as Silvar gives one of his best efforts and almost pins Moonstrike after TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER. A worried Moonstrike is forced into unnecessary risks but eventually it works and Silvar is felled with PALADIN DROP. Close call for the Titan
Commander Sam makes quick work of Caiman pinning him after SAM’S ATOMIC DROP. Sam has bounced back strong after his humiliations at he hands of Mangus. He is ready to take his nemesis on again and promises “things will be different this time”. Mangus says “bring it on. I’ll never tire of beating you”
Hechilles pins Jammer after smashing him with a tornado bulldog. Two guys in the doldrums a bit after recent setbacks. During the match Jammer makes an amazing move to kick out after THE END. Hechilles gives credit “I have to take my hat off to Jammer. Rarely does anyone survive my finisher”
The Crosscurrents beat Rama and Solar Flare in about a minute. Rama and Solar Flare agree to team just down change of pace but it’s a disastrous combination. Solar Flare is sore about the loss. As a co holder of the tag belts this is an embarassment and he wants to give Rama payback.
GWF REPORT (2082 CARDS 91 - 94)
Champions:
*GWF Galaxian Champ: Omega
*GWF Tag Champs: Paladin Power
Latest News:
Morpheus has been rapped after a stormy incident with a Deimos wrestling mag journalist. The interviewer had the cheek to suggest Morpheus in-ring conditioning was declining (he barely wrestled in 2081 from being on the road scouting) and pointed out his expanding waistline. Such comments might be true but no sane normal man would dare point that out to Morpheus. Suffice to say one bodyslam across the table later the poor chap found himself in hospital with sore ribs! Omega gives Morpheus a talking to over his actions and issues a fine which is just another incident to list as part of their difficult relationship history. Morpheus responds by dusting off his wrestling gear to step back in the ring and says he will win the Galaxian belt he has never held (remember he didn’t manage a single successful defense of the belt after winning the initial tournament and as per GWF rules is not recorded as having held it). Morpheus recruitment drive has sacrificed his wrestling whilst Omega rarely leaves Deimos. He vows to change that asap. Away from the problems Omega must be proud of the Gamemasters as they are now in the top contenders position and relishing the chance to challenge Paladin Power and to realise a dream.
It’s been a while since EC began and in that time no real stats have been compiled. With #100 fast approaching I worked out the roll of champions so far. I always overlook champions who did not manage to make at least 1 succesful defense. So here is a list of what’s gone down to now:
Singles champions … Omega (3), Torin Caelum, Santon the Loner, KO Keller
Longest reign … Omega is dominant in this respect with a current 31 card run beating his previous mark of 20. KO Keller managed 10 cards and Torin Caelum lasted 9 with the belt
Tag team champions … Paladin Power (2), The Guardians, Deimos Dazzlers, The Crosscurrents, The Mensans, Defiance, The Estorians (as you can see these belts have been a lot less stable)
Longest reigns … The Guardians out in front here with 18 cards as champs, the Estorians came close by holding the belts for 17. Both the Deimos Dazzlers and Defiance were on top for 10.
Clearly Omega has been the dominant character in these early years of the GWF. He held both the belts at the same time which is an incredible achievement and has won countless wrestler of the year awards. By contrast his business partner Morpheus has endured a lot of frustration. Overshadowed and unable to capture the belt. Even when co-holding the tag belts all the plaudits were going to Omega. The best tag team has to be Paladin Power but it’s not quite so clear cut. With dynamic young teams like the Gamemasters and Deimos Dazzlers developing the tag team scene looks like it could become very competitive after a slow start (in the early shows the fans seemed to much prefer the singles matches).

Card 95 - Luna Auditorium:
(Card goes down as one of the most memorable in history with significant moments and stacked matches. A major title change headlines the show. One wrestling talk show staged a poll and this card was voted far and away the most exciting one of all. Distant runner up was the first exhibition card where Omega defgeated Jack Hood and behind that the singles tournament to crown the first champion, Morpheus controversially defeating Omega, is fondly remembered)
KO Keller defeated Omega to become new champ. With Keller’s punching style Omega knows he needs to keep close to him to minimise his offence. However too often Keller is given acres of room to unload and Omega can’t keep away from his best moves. Keller’s tactics are spot on and he is able to end a long battle with THE TEN COUNT. Omega finally drops the belt after an amazing 2 years 8 months (cards 63-95). Fabulous scenes afterwards and a sense the fans are relieved that someone else can have a run with the title. Always a noble and good sport Omega pays homage his opponent and concedes Keller was better than him. He hopes he can go onto have a successful reign
Morpheus pinned Mighty Grogan. Morpheus wants to fast track himself to a title shot by testing his mettle against one of the top stars. It’s a successful return to action in a match which showcased power moves. His trademark TRIP TO HADES still shows potency and leads to his victory. Grogan being the type of chap that he is clears the cobwebs and offers a congratulatory handshake but he does seem slightly wary of Morpheus
Mangus defeated Commander Sam with THE ANNIHILATOR. Sam trying to restore pride of his planet but loses again. From the beginning he looks really pumped up and really takes it to Mangus but soon falls into a trap. Mangus draws him out so the ref is momentarily unsighted and slugs him with some kind of metallic object. Sam is initially out like a light and bundled back into the ring. Mangus stands over him gloating and allows Sam to come round and drag himself up using the ropes for leverage before delivering his finisher. Sam goes berserk when he watches the replay back
The Gamemasters beat Paladin Power in a non-title match. Unprecedented as the teams go at it in a dress rehearsal for their big title bout on #97. So much action. Cosmos nearly beats Moonstrike who gets MASTERLOCK slapped on him. The Paladins show they can fight dirty by reversing the pin after a saving run in by Solar Flare. The match continues in an epic manner. Later Star Warrior resists PALADIN DROP but looks ripe for the pickings and Solar Flare is tagged in for inevitable victory. Solar Flare goes to the top but misses with a high flying deathjump attempt and is winded. Star Warrior musters just enough to cover the stricken Titan and pin him. The Gamemasters celebrate an amazing victory in a 5 star match. Can only hope the actual match with the belts on line is as good
Hechilles beats his friend Caiman by count-out to continue a surge back to form. Caiman even used HANDICAPPER (prob too early) which adds to the impressiveness of Hechilles win
Defiance defeat Polarity by DQ. Two teams watching the belt duel between the Gamemasters and Paladin Power very carefully, lurking and ready to pounce. They know this is a pivotal rankings match. Polarity make most of the running but Sin relinquishes the chance to win by savagely attacking Blood with a weapon. Normally the other partner would show dismay at such an action but Salvation bears no ill feeling.
Card 96 - Aethran War Dome:
(Back in Aethra. Word is Aethra wants to send wrestlers to the GWF. Morpheus is trying to convince Omega this is a good move and part of why the GWF tour is here again. Spine tingling moment when the Minister of War takes his seat in a VIP box high above the ring. When Morpheus comes out to wrestle he looks up and the two share a quick nod of approval)
Paladin Power struggle to victory over the Wind Riders in a non-title contest. The champs playing down a crisis of confidence after their last loss to the Gamemasters. They turn up the heat here but the Wind Riders give them plenty of concerning moments. One dramatic moment sees Solar Flare miss the mark when attempting to finish Rama with PALADIN MISSILE. He accidentally hits the ref who goes down hurt. The Wind Riders quickly take advantage and use DEIMOS DRIVER but of course there is no referee to make the pin count. As they try to revive the ref Solar Flare is able to come up behind with a small package and nearly get the pin. The Paladins are worried that they might be heading towards another upset defeat but Moonstrike rescues the situation by pinning Tano after PALADIN DROP. The Paladins high five eachother for the win but they know the wrestling was slack again
Commander Sam pinned Morpheus, it’s barely detectable but the rowdy crowd seem to have a small respect for Morpheus as he enters the ring. It’s billed as a colossal battle but Morpheus is off the pace by a few steps. Sam’s energy overwhelms it but it takes SAM’S ATOMIC DROP three times to put him down for good
Omega beat Silvar after TOMAHAWK THRUST. Seems strange to see Omega making his way to the ring without the belt but he is happy to start at the bottom again and work his way up. In fact he relishes the challenge. He makes short work of Silvar and the pair shake hands in the ring at the end. This brings metal clanking of disapproval from the Aethran crowd who believe all combatants should be at war with each other and not show weak sporting gestures
The Crosscurrents shock Hechilles and Caiman. Despite being under pressure mostly the Crosscurrents take advantage of a missed deathjump by Caiman who then gets buried by WATERY GRAVE. Caiman has used HANDICAPPER twice in the match on Thetis and both times it was kicked out. He can’t understand why his usually reliable finisher is letting him down. Hechilles indulges their friendly rivalry by saying it will never be as effective as THE END. Caiman says fine let’s have a match together and it can only be won by one of us using our finisher
Sin defeated Mimic. Don’t laugh but if Mimic had won he’d of been in serious contention for a title shot. He comes mighty close after locking on MIME NERVE SLEEPER with Sin only just getting to the ropes to break the hold. Later Sin uses his deceitful ways to get back on top and stops Mimic’s unlikely charge up the rankings with KNUCKLE SANDWICH
Jammer beat Mighty Grogan after a top rope clothesline. Earlier Grogan was a bit groggy after being hit on the head by an object thrown from within the crowd. Nice venue huh!
Card 97 - Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
The Gamemasters beat Paladin Power to win the tag team titles. Last time the Paladins were very much second best in the non-title match but surely they would raise their game with the belts at stake? The Gamemasters in high spirits ahead of the biggest night of their wrestling lives, Cosmos is the spokesperson “we are ready. Omega has trained us well. We now how difficult the Paladins are to beat, especially Solar Flare, but we managed it before and today we will do it again”. There was so much anticipation and it was a good match (perhaps not quite on the level of the last one). Solar Flare has a big chance but again misses PALADIN MISSILE. The unpredictability of the move has not done the Titan duo too many favours. However it is his partner, Moonstrike, that is the weak spot. Star Warrior slows him down with CETUS SLEEPER and then Cosmos comes in to polish him off with MASTERLOCK. The arena goes wild as the Gamemasters are handed the straps. The Paladins look gutted but Moonstrike manages to give them an acknowledging clap but says don’t get too comfortable wearing these belts as we will be determined to get them back
KO Keller beats Mangus in non-title battle. With Omega dethroned guys like Mangus might now feel they have better chance to win the belt. Victory of any kind would clear a path to another shot. He ambushes Keller early and has the new champ rocking. Keller manages to steady himself and builds his offense gradually culminating in a pin after a windmill of fists. Keller comes through the first test of his credentials as the GWF belt holder
Blood beat Omega by DQ. Maybe a slight hangover from the title loss as Omega loses here. He probably gifted it rather than lost it. He was in control having nearly won early with COSMIC WAR DANCE. Shortly after he was trying to apply an Indian Death Lock (which he often has success with) but Blood wriggles out of the ring. Omega is eager for a scrap and goes to follow him but the picky ref keeps trying to stop him. Even Omega can lose his cool at times it seems as he pushes the ref to get out there thinking Blood is being too much recovery time. He grabs Blood to pitch him back in but hears the bell behind him and his head goes down as realisation sets in. Even Blood thought it was a bad decision and shrugs his shoulders before giving Omega the customary handshake. Omega later apologetic and says even someone with is own experience needs reminding of what it’s like to lose
Finisher match, Caiman wins the challenge against Hechilles after a solid battle. Spends time wearing Hechilles down so that win he uses HANDICAPPER it works first time
The Crosscurrents beat Polarity by DQ. It’s Sin again at his dastardly worst. Are too many DQ losses hurting Polarity’s chances of being a top contending team
Morpheus pinned Silvar. Motivated by winning pay checks Morpheus is trying to book himself with easier matches even though he still lusts for the Galaxian belt. Deep down he probably knows such glory is beyond him so instead he is focused on boosting his bank balance. He gets a scare though after assuming an easy ride. Silvar offers stern resistance. Morpheus rides out the storm and gets angry that the undercarder is trying to show him up. He steps up his game and rocks Silvar with two TRIP TO HADES one after the other to put the match to bed.
Card 98 - Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
The Crosscurrents defeat the Deimos Dazzlers. Permanent name change in place as the fans love it and voted for it in a poll. It really describes their styles and so far has had a galvanising effect in their results. However it doesn’t help them tonight. The Deimos boys do indeed dazzle but the Crosscurrents are really coming into some form. They stay in the match and then bury Rama with WATERY GRAVE to make it 4 wins on the trot
Star Warrior beats Blood by DQ. Back down with a bump for Star Warrior as Blood slugs it out hardcore. Seems to be trying to teach him a bit of a lesson by savagely beating him in the runway. Ref thinks he has gone too far and doesn’t want the match to continue. Blood justifies his actions saying he likes Star Warrior but he thinks the youngster has got a big for his boots and needed bringing down a peg
Cosmos beat Jammer in incredible fashion. Defiance face off against the Gamemasters in the first of two singles matches. Could Defiance be their first challengers? They are neck and neck with Polarity for the shot. It’s not the best start to the mini series as Jammer loses in amazing circumstances. He dominates and tries BAD NIGHT and astonishing five times. Cosmos kicks out of every single one. Jammer is bewildered so he throws Cosmos from the ring to give himself thinking time. Cosmos pulls him out by the legs and slams him across the floor. Showing no ill effect the earlier punishment he goes to the top and comes down on Jammer with a splash and then executes MASTERLOCK for an instant submission
Parsec wins in a surprise over Mighty Grogan via ESTORIAN LOCK. Some night for the Estorians. Not sure what direction Grogan’s career is heading. When he first joined he was looking very strong and a possible pretender to Omega’s position as the top dog. However the last few months have been blighted by damaging defeats and this might well be the worst of them
Commander Sam beats Sin who is still racking up the DQ losses. Sam loses a tooth during the match after being struck with KNUCKLE SANDWICH. Some journalists call for Sin to be banned
Tantalis pinned Mimic. The Estorians in rare single action tonight. Great start from Tantalis who stays focused throughout refusing to be distracted by Mimic’s play acting.
GWF REPORT (2082 CARDS 95 - 98)
Champions:
*GWF Galaxian Champ: KO Keller
*GWF Tag Champs: The Gamemasters
Latest News:
Omega losing the Galaxian belt dominates wrestling news. KO Keller is the man to do it. It’s a healthy title change as viewers have become tired of the same guy holding the title. Of course not Omega’s fault as he has been awesome and seemingly unbeatable. KO Keller will be hard pushed to carry the GWF on his shoulders as it’s champion but he is a popular guy with decent drawing power who is more than happy to take on that mantle. Fingers crossed it’s a very successful reign. Lots of debate on where his first challenge will come from as the names of Commander Sam, Caiman and even Morpheus come up. After much deliberation Omega narrows it down to Sam and Caiman (another blow to Morpheus) and cites a win Sam enjoyed over Caiman on #94 as the deciding factor. Caiman slightly aggrieved and hoping he’ll be next in line after that but probably needs to maintain form for that to be a consideration.
The tag belts also changed hands and the first family still has hands on the gold as the Gamemasters realise a dream by beating Paladin Power. It’s taken almost 4 years but they finally realise their potential. The Paladins offered sporting congratulations after the titles slipped from their grasp but warned that winning the belts is one thing but keeping hold of them is quite another. They admit they took their eye off the ball and may of underestimated the Gamemasters but will be working harder than ever to reclaim the titles.
The Crosscurrents have become the latest departures from the GWF. They were a strange duo uniquely suited to tag teaming and they thrilled the fans with their amazing fluidity and diving moves in the ring despite their dependance on special water supplies to help them survive out of water. Their record was not the greatest but they will be fondly remembered for having one surprise reign as tag team champs. They also ended in some style with a four match win streak that (had they stayed) may of pushed them into the tag title picture. The roster is getting a little thin on the ground with just over 20 guys left as a result. Morpheus is scratching around in pursuit of talent but there are irons in the fire.
The Wind Riders want to be permanently known as the Deimos Dazzlers. They’ve been mixing up whenever they wrestle at home trying all sorts of names out. It’s also helped them become pretty wealthy as they shifted a lot of merchandise. It was pretty obvious what name the fans liked most and so the deed is now done. Suits them better as it describes their in-ring style.
There will be a captive audience when the GWF reaches 100 cards with GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS 7. What a landmark. Will the GWF do something special? Omega says there maybe one or two surprises.

Card 99 - Io Coliseum:
(During the card big reveals for GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS are made. Fliers are handed out that reveal Torin Caelum will be returning for one night only. There is more to come as the fliers also show tournament brackets indicating a shoot out for a cash prize. It is simply being referred to as ‘Tournament of Champions’ and the first round brackets are as follows Morpheus-Caiman; Commander Sam-Mighty Grogan; KO Keller-Hechilles; Omega-Mangus)
Galaxian champ, KO Keller, comes through his first defense by seeing off Commander Sam. Keller has his wits about him as Sam charges the turnbuckle. Sam collides with such ferocity that he is winded allowing Keller to then roll him up for an easy pin. Sam is one of the most popular guys in the GWF but is feeing the pressure of a lack of success. Having now learned about the Tournament of Champions he is making bold statements that he will go all out and capture the tournament trophy
Defiance beat Polarity to decide the top tag team contender. Gameplan from Defiance was to lure Sin outside where he might do something to cause a DQ loss. When that fails they decide to go for the clean victory. It’s a long +20 minute battle but eventually Jammer beats Sin with BAD NIGHT
Mighty Grogan goes over Omega with UPPER CRUSH. Lots of mutual respect between these two and Omega is genuinely pleased for Grogan even though he slips down the rankings himself. He hopes they may meet again soon and have another good match and suggests it would be also be good to work together as a tag team. Grogan relishes the opportunity
Paladin Power defeated the Deimos Dazzlers. Paladins still licking their wounds after surprise defeats to the Gamemasters but get a morale boost here as Moonstrike catches Rama sleeping with a sunset flip
Morpheus and Star Warrior both receive a DQ. Real heat here. Morpheus has never been particularly fond of Omega’s son. Star Warrior knows this and it sets up a brawl fest
Silvar beats Mangus by DQ. The match will give Mangus sleepless nights. He finds Silvar very tough and is nearly pinned several times. He’ll be grateful the loss was only by DQ and can claim a weak referee. Mangus still wants everyone to know he is major belt contender but he is hardly sending shivers down the spines of the rest of the GWF.
Card 100 - GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS 7 - Deimos Intergalactic Arena:
(Landmark card 100 and to celebrate Omega has scheduled a special one night tournament with a large cash prize at the end (very early pre cursor to ONLY THE BEST in the distant future). The top 8 guys all competing in knockout matches with the final being booked as no DQ/POW rules. Originally entry was going to be restricted to only guys who have held the Galaxian belt before but Omega realised there probably weren’t enough to make it interesting as only he and KO Keller, would of qualified. Caiman and Morpheus could of been considered as possible additions but although they won the belt neither is listed as a champion because no successful defenses were made. No tokens will be carried forward as the non-tournament matches will take place between the rounds so I imagine it as the wrestlers getting plenty of recovery time)
NON-TOURNAMENT MATCHES
The Gamemasters go over Polarity by DQ. Failure to beat Defiance means no belt up for grabs for Polarity. Star Warrior is in the wars getting caught in FIGURE EIGHT ROLL UP and also blasted with KNUCKLE SANDWICH. Daring rescue attempts by Cosmos keep him in the match but it means Star Warrior becomes a bystander as he is so beaten up. Cosmos wrestles valiantly on and emerges with the win after Sin pulls an ice pick on him. Sin looks ready to use it but Star Warrior summons his last energy to leap into the ring and deliver an awesome move where he kicks it out of Sin’s hand. A relieved and frightened looking Cosmos hugs his partner gratefully. Would Sin of actually used the ice pick? Something about the Gamemasters seems to bring out the worst in him
Moonstrike wins a classic over Torin Caelum by DQ. Torin Caelum makes a special guest appearance at the event for one last match. Moonstrike calls it an honour to be selected as his opponent. The match that plays out is incredible. Torin Caelum hasn’t lost too much sharpness but he is on the ropes for a lot of the bout. He racks up an astonishing 8 tokens (which includes PALADIN DROP twice) but refuses to get pinned. Moonstrike had moments of anxiety too and had to withstand CAELUM’S GRIP which still had all it’s old potency. In a way the DQ outcome was fitting as it meant neither man was pinned having given their all. Torin Caelum was so wobbly he accidentally grabbed the referee and body slammed him which brought down the curtain. After the match Torin Caelum apologises saying he was so dizzy that he started seeing two of Moonstrike in the ring and made an identity mistake. Calls for him to rethink his retirement plans but Torin Caelum declines saying he has other life commitments and is enjoying running his wrestling school. Whilst he enjoyed the match he can do without the aches and pains that plague many wrestlers bodies long after they call it a day
Defiance defeated the Deimos Dazzlers. Blood a bit bummed he is not in the tournament of champions as he feels he is a very solid singles wrestler although he respects Omega’s choices. He is told he is on first standby should anyone pull out or get injured. It doesn’t effect his motivation for this match as the two teams serve up a sizzler. We see all the top moves of DEIMOS DRIVER, BAD NIGHT and SCAR TISSUE with the latter sealing the deal as Blood pins Rama. The crowd is now perfectly warmed up for night’s tournament action.
TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS
First Round:
Caiman eliminates Morpheus in just 3 moves. Morpheus starts on the attack. Couple of hard hits and then hurls Caiman into the ropes. Morpheus goes for a backdrop but drops his head far too early. Caiman is like lightening as he dives over him spectacularly with a sunset flip. He gets the legs down over the shoulders and Morpheus cannot power out fast enough. Morpheus is humiliated and leaves with his tail between his legs
Commander Sam goes past Mighty Grogan with SAM’S ATOMIC DROP. Two of the outsiders tipped as a good bet at the bookies. Tough match but Sam has fire in his belly. Sam can smell success as he will face Caiman for a place in he final. So far he has proved a bogey opponent for Caiman
KO Keller progresses after beating Hechilles with THE TEN COUNT. Hechilles almost takes down the champ. Keller having to dig really deep after being slowed with THE END. Keller manages to swing the bout using his superior out of ring brawling abilities and lives to fight on. As the champ Keller is chasing double success and also a big favourite to become wrestler of the year. A remarkable triple crown looms large
Mangus causes a big upset by knocking out Omega. Mangus is like a thing possessed. His aim to finish early as Omega’s legendary endurance might prove telling as the match progresses. True to form Omega is a master at absorbing punishment and weathers the storm. He gets his time on top and rattles Mangus with COSMIC WAR DANCE. No pin though so Omega does it again but once again failure. Sometimes it’s better as a setup to his main finisher. Omega gives the sign and unleashes TOMAHAWK THRUST. Surely it’s over but again no. Mangus somehow summoning up the ability to kick out a millisecond before the 3. Omega is stunned, maybe it wasn’t the cleanest hit but the failure seems to affect him. Rather than keep going he inexplicably backs off giving Mangus recovery time and a path back into the match. He pays for it dearly as Mangus resumes control and scores a shock win after a devastating cobra clutch suplex
Second Round:
Commander Sam marches into the final by beating Caiman with SAM’S ATOMIC DROP. Is he finally on the cusp of greatness? He gives the fans (many of them from Earth to support him) a victory salute. Sam is charged up and says he deserves to win having eliminated two ex champions (he glosses over the fact that neither actually held the belt)
KO Keller overcomes Mangus. Although Keller has a lot of followers Mangus gets plenty of backing as fans dream of a mouth watering Sam-Mangus final. Mangus continues his habit of making a fast start but Keller copes better than Omega did against the early barrage. Once again he leans on his POW style and rugged brawling to bring him to the ascendancy and knocks Mangus out with THE TEN COUNT at the second time of asking;
Final (No DQ):
Commander Sam defeated KO Keller. Glorious moment as Sam prevails. Rocking battle with Sam leading a cavalry charge from the opening bell. During the course of the match he nails Keller three times with SAM’S ATOMIC DROP. Keller kicks out every single time in a stunning feat and leading everyone to think he is going to pull it out the bag yet again. Most wrestlers would of been scratching their head wondering how to beat this guy after something like that but Sam keeps going. Keller isn’t allowed to breathe and get his punching style going. Sam accepts that maybe it’s time for another one of his favourite moves. Although it hasn’t brought him as many victories in the past as his famed atomic drop tonight it’s the one that makes it’s mark. The ring shudders as he unloads a Commander Slam. He hooks a leg in the follow up and despite a struggle from Keller holds on to grab the win. Keller’s triple crown hopes ended but a wonderful moment for Sam. KO Keller acknowledging the win by bringing in the American flag and draping it over the celebrating Sam.
Card 101 - Io Coliseum:
Polarity overcome Omega and Mighty Grogan. Pre match promos see Polarity cutting frustrated figures having lost their chance to go for the belts and calling this match a platform to relaunch their title ambitions. Salvation gets his point across with a dignified dismay whilst Sin unloads vulgarity after vulgarity into the microphone. On the other side Omega and Grogan see this as a opportunity to take garbage like Sin out of the GWF as they play up to the cameras and try to give the bout some extra heat. All sets up a great 4 star match. Omega and Grogan may be top tier singles guys but it shows sometimes being a regular tag team holds greater sway in matches like this but they are not without their winning chances. Omega is the most guilty as both COSMIC WAR DANCE and TOMAHAWK THRUST fail to finish Salvation. The impact of his favoured moves is on the decline and his ability to finish a match off is deserting him. Polarity sense their chances and later single Grogan out for most punishment. Salvation comes close with FIGURE EIGHT ROLL UP a couple times but when Sin comes in a unloads KNUCKLE SANDWICH it’s over
Caiman beats Morpheus but needs to use HANDICAPPER four times. Simmering anger inside Morpheus after the tournament of champions humiliation. He immediately challenged Caiman to a rematch which was accepted. Caiman again has his measure (it’s much closer this time) as Morpheus loses again. Morpheus is sulking big time refusing any interviews that want to discuss the match. Probably needs to move on from this rivalry and brush it under the carpet
Demios Dazzlers best the Estorians after DEIMOS DRIVER on Parsec. The Dazzlers right on their game with thrilling double team moves and just before the finish Tano uses a spectacular dropkick taking both Estorians down with Parsec taking the brunt of it
Cosmos and Blood ends in stalemate. It’s a double DQ. Nice outcome as it means things are set up for the next show
Jammer defeated Star Warrior by count-out. First of two singles matches building up to the Gamemasters-Defiance title match. Jammer really brings it. Star Warrior struggles under the tide of attacks, doing well to resist BAD NIGHT a couple of times but he been fails to beat the count back to the ring after losing a brawl. Jammer manages to slam and then rolls him underneath the ring before hopping back in with a couple of seconds to spare
Mangus gets a routine victory over Mimic.
Card 102 - Mira Galaxy Dome:
Tag champs, the Gamemasters, lost to Defiance by DQ. Star Warrior starts on the front foot and tries to deprive Jammer of his energy by wearing him down with CETUS SLEEPER but the tactics do not work. Defiance soon rally and soon enough Cosmos is in trouble after SCAR TISSUE. Much to the dismay of Defiance the match then abruptly ends because of Star Warrior making a pin save. Defiance are breathing heavily down their necks in their pursuit of the tag titles and will get a rematch. No doubting that the Gamemasters have been coming on leaps and bounds although some have noted since winning the belts a slight change in attitude. Star Warrior getting cocky and aloof and thinking he is some kind of film star whilst Cosmos seems to have an unpredictable temper. Even after this match they paraded around with their belts as if they’d won (and not got out of jail with a DQ loss). Suggestions that Omega is trying to rein his son in but Star Warrior keeps pulling away. Delicate subject which Omega refuses to answer questions on
Polarity against the Estorians goes to a double DQ. It’s a really well balanced match with plenty of swings in momentum but the longer it went it always seemed likely that with Sin around could end in a brawl. Sin is trying to pin Tantalis when Parsec comes through the ropes. Sin immediately gets up and runs at Parsec with both falling through the ropes. They continue fighting on the outside and chairs, tables and even the ref go flying in all directions
Commander Sam beat Hechilles with SAM’S ATOMIC DROP. At first Sam struggles with the greater flexibility of Hechilles and takes a few minutes to get into the swing of things. When he does wake up the match slips into classic mode and both have spells of control but it’s Sam that comes through. Sam’s career has really taken off in the last year, could be on the verge of something special
Mangus pinned Mighty Grogan. Long battles which sees Grogan bust out the power move. Lots of brain rattling manoeuvres like DDT and pilderivers. Mangus hangs on in there and with the time limit fast advancing manages to use THE ANNIHILATOR and edge a victory
Caiman defeated Silvar with HANDICAPPER. Huge dollop of luck of luck for Caiman as he is outwrestled and outfought but still wins. Silvar coming close to pulling off an upset not just once but several times. Twice hitting TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER and only a whisker from the three count. Not Caiman’s best match as he fails to heed the warnings and is continuously sloppy and will count himself lucky not to lose
Rama pinned Mimic. Is that his first ever singles success (would have to check)? It’s almost an instant defeat for Rama as his first move is to fly towards Mimic who improvises by sidestepping and pulling down the top rope. Rama hits the railings outside and is a heap. It severely hurts him and just about crawls back into the ring in time. Fair play to Rama as it doesn’t put him off going for the high risk moves. The match goes for a long time and Mimic looks the more likely but can’t his MIME NERVE SLEEPER GRIP working for him. The bout draws to a conclusion when Mimic goes to the top for an awesome cross body but Rama counters.

*GWF Galaxian Champ: KO Keller
*GWF Tag Champs: The Gamemasters
Latest News:
GALACTIC BATTLEGROUNDS and end of year awards in review. Torin Caelum made a special appearance as the big surprise and received a mega reception. Even though he lost his match he still showed he can mix it up with the best of them. There was a potentially nasty incident in the Gamemasters and Polarity match avoided and everyone is on high alert against Sin now. Of course the tournament of champions was the big show which was brilliantly won by Commander Sam. Most of the roster are happy for him (apart from Mangus and maybe guys like Sin) as Sam has always worked hard but achieved little success until now. Omega left the crowd in stunned silence by falling at the first hurdle. 2082 has shown that perhaps he no longer has the skills to dominate the GWF even though one could argue the roster is weaker than a couple of years ago.
End of year awards see KO Keller and the Gamemasters scoop singles and tag respectively. Fantastic to see someone other than Omega at the top (he didn’t even win runner up as Sam gets that recognition) and of course the Gamemasters are now delivering on that enormous potential they have always shown even if it maybe going to their heads a little. Sin retains the mantle of most hated. His rulebreaking ways on another level to anything seen before. He has accumulated a record amount of DQ losses. Trouble is things maybe about to get worse (read further down). Despite a less than stellar year Omega still rides high in the popularity stakes only pipped to the actual award by Commander Sam. The reason Sam triumphs is because of his energy and the fact he seems to fight wars in the ring every time he wrestles. People just love seeing this stuff.
There are several end of year shifts in the GWF roster. Major disruptions have been brought upon the tag team scene with Paladin Power retiring and the division has been further thinned with the surprise departures of the Estorians (who have been summoned back to their homeworld by their planet elders). It is a massive surprise to see the Paladins leave as they had been making noises about how they were looking to win the belts back that they’d surprisingly lost. Their departure leaving a hole as the tag division now only has 4 regular teams left in the Gamemasters, Defiance, Polarity, the Deimos Dazzlers. Although Hechilles and Caiman do enjoy tagging together (as well as facing each other) and have requested they be officially ranked from now. The Deimos Dazzlers have also asked to included in the singles rankings. After Rama’s success against Mimic they feel they are improving and DEIMOS DRIVER has even now become a +1 move in singles matches whereas before it was never really used in this capacity. They feel being adaptable and competitive in both disciplines can really help their careers develop.
Whilst Morpheus hasn’t been able to recruit any new tag teams for the GWF to plug those holes he has brought in the noble Lord Nexus (from Titan) and Montrol (a former general from CTA-102). The dispute between Titan and CTA-102 has been widely regarded as the powder keg for the Galactic Wars providing the basis for a natural rivalry between the two newcomers. Lord Nexus is already winning the fans with his persona and will bring a spritely athletic style to the ring. There is no doubting he is brimming with talent. Another guy that has been recruited has caused quite a stir though. A third Pleiades local, Vice, has joined and he is perhaps even worse than Sin in his attitude and disregard for the rules (what’s more he is thought to be a former student of the despicable Jack Hood). Already announced that along with Sin and Salvation they will be forming a group called the Gang of Three. The balance between good and evil has been disturbed. This move has become very unpopular and has caused some ructions between Omega and Morpheus. Whilst Omega is powerless to actually stop wrestlers signing matches against them, Morpheus believes the other wrestlers should embrace the challenge and fight fire with fire by teaming up against them. With opposing views the animosity between Omega and Morpheus is again growing and in a bid to blow off steam they have even signed to a couple of matches. Neither man is at his peak but a bout between these two is still always a night to remember!
New cards Cosmos, Omega, Star Warrior EC 2083, joining Montrol, Lord Nexus, Vice End of Year Awards: WRESTLER OF THE YEAR – KO Keller (runner up: Commander Sam) TAG TEAM OF THE YEAR – The Gamemasters (runners up: Paladin Power) MOST POPULAR – Commander Sam (runner up: Omega) MOST HATED – Sin (runner up: Morpheus)
