GWF 46 (2078.06) Deimos Intergalactic Arena, Mars
Mimic vs. Cosmos Mimic defeated Cosmos with MIME NERVE SLEEPER at 13:54 Tokens: Mimic 0, Cosmos 4 Match Rating: 3.75 Match Notes: Cosmos dominated most of the offense during the match, but Mimic’s brief offensive spurts were more impactful and did more to wear down his opponent. Cosmos missed a clothesline late and hit the turnbuckle hard, and Mimic quickly moved to the top turnbuckle and hit Cosmos with a flying clothesline which knocked him to the floor. Cosmos slowly rolled back into the ring, where Mimic was waiting with his finisher for the submission victory.
Defiance (Blood and Jammer) vs. The Mensans (Cordsar and Trotarus) Cordsar defeated Jammer with MENSAN LOCK at 13:13 Tokens: Blood 0, Jammer 3, Cordsar 0, Trotarus 1 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: A back and forth match featuring plenty of quick tags. Late in the match, Cordsar and Jammer hit simultaneous clotheslines on each other, the impact of which knocked Jammer to the floor. As Cordsar slowly recovered in the ring, Blood went to attend to Jammer when Ricken Prince appeared at ringside. Blood lunged at Prince, but the referee stepped in and pushed Blood away in an attempt to keep order. Prince grabbed Jammer and threw him back into the ring, where Cordsar quickly applied his submission finisher for the win.
Santon vs. Ricken Prince Ricken Prince defeated Santon with ROYAL DECREE at 9:51 Tokens: Santon 3, Ricken Prince 1 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Santon had Prince in trouble late following a clothesline from the top turnbuckle which knocked Prince to the ringside floor. As Santon followed to continue his attack, Blood and Jammer appeared at ringside. As Blood distracted the referee, Jammer grabbed Prince’s crown and motioned for Santon to hold Prince. However, Prince slipped out of Santon’s grasp, and Jammer accidentally hit Santon with the crown instead. Prince clotheslined Jammer and rolled Santon back into the ring, where he hit his ROYAL DECREE finisher three consecutive times to get the winning pinfall. Officials quickly moved to ringside to prevent Defiance from storming the ring as Prince laughed and gloated above them.
Morpheus vs. Mangus Morpheus defeated Mangus with TRIP TO HADES at 6:17 Tokens: Morpheus 0, Mangus 2 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: Morpheus avoided a running clothesline from Mangus early in the match that resulted in Mangus hitting the turnbuckle headfirst, and from then on Morpheus dominated the match, wearing down his opponent and setting him up for his finisher and the win.
Torin Caelum vs. K.O. Keller K.O. Keller defeated Torin Caelum with THE TEN COUNT at 13:08 Tokens: Torin Caelum 5, K.O. Keller 1 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: Another excellent match between these two competitors. Keller dominated the offense for most of the match but was unable to put Caelum away. Caelum stunned Keller late in the match with a running lariat and it seemed that the tide had turned. However, Keller surprised Caelum with a heart punch, which stunned Caelum long enough for Keller to unleash THE TEN COUNT for the win.
GWF Tag Team champions Paladin Power (Moonstrike and Solar Flare) vs. Dorado Sundown (Blacklash and Bullwhip) – GWF Tag Team Title Match Solar Flare defeated Bullwhip with PALADIN MISSILE at 11:22 Tokens: Moonstrike 0, Solar Flare 3, Blacklash 1, Bullwhip 1 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: Blacklash and Bullwhip gained the early advantage by using plenty of quick tags to keep the champs off their game. However, late in the match Bullwhip would stay in the ring to pummel Solar Flare for several minutes. During a ringside brawl with all four men, Bullwhip hit his head on the ring post, and Solar Flare rolled him back into the ring. While Moonstrike kept Blacklash occupied with his fists, Solar Flare hit his top rope headbutt finisher twice consecutively to get the win for the champs.

GWF Ringside Report
Preparations for the 4th annual Galaxi-Cade have begun, even though the event is still three cards away. Both the GWF Galaxian Title and GWF Tag Team Title will be defended at the event, and the results of the upcoming GWF 47 and GWF 48 cards will determine who will appear in those title matches, both as champions and challengers.
K.O. Keller’s victory over Torin Caelum at GWF 46 puts Keller in line for another shot at Omega’s GWF Galaxian Title, the match to take place at GWF 47. The competitor who leaves GWF 47 with the title will then defend that title at Galaxi-Cade against a wrestler to be determined at GWF 48, where Morpheus will take on the winner of the Commander Sam vs. Torin Caelum match to be held at GWF 47.
GWF Tag Team champions Paladin Power will defend their belts one more time prior to Galaxi-Cade, in a match to be held at GWF 48. Their challengers will be the winner of a match at GWF 47 between The Mensans and CrossCurrents.
Ricken Prince got the best of Defiance at GWF 46 on two separate occasions. Since their feud with Ricken Prince began, Blood and Jammer have slipped down near the bottom of the tag team rankings, and word from the locker room has the duo ready to issue a final challenge to Prince and his Rock Solid tag partner Screw in an attempt to end their feud at Galaxi-Cade and move towards refocusing their efforts on the tag team title scene. Conversely, Prince seems to be enjoying himself with this feud, as he’d previously been unable to escape the GWF midcard and the feud has provided him with some direction. His tag team partner Screw, however, has hinted that he may be ready to wind down his wrestling career and would like to compete in more singles matches prior to retiring. Expect an official announcement of some kind in the upcoming months.

GWF 47 (2078.07) Deimos Intergalactic Arena, Mars
The Wind Riders (Rama and Tano) vs. Defiance (Blood and Jammer) Tano defeated Blood with DEIMOS DRIVER at 4:16 Tokens: Rama 0, Tano 0, Blood 1, Jammer 0 Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: Blood and Jammer started the match by gaining the advantage with quick tags. However, Blood was distracted when Ricken Prince appeared at ringside. Rama and Tano quickly gained the advantage with tag team maneuvers and applied their double brain buster finisher twice for the easy win. After the match, Defiance were clearly frustrated while Prince laughed and gloated as he left ringside.
Screw vs. Mimic Screw defeated Mimic with FREAKISH FACE SLAM at 4:35 Tokens: Screw 2, Mimic 1 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: Mimic surprised Screw early with a flurry of moves and attempted his MIME NERVE SLEEPER finisher. However, Screw rolled himself and Mimic through the ropes to the ring floor and quickly used his superior brawling skills to overwhelm his opponent. Mimic kicked out of a pin attempt by Screw after a middle rope clothesline, only to fall victim immediately afterward to Screw’s finisher.
CrossCurrents (Thetis and Vortex) vs. The Mensans (Cordsar and Trotarus) Trotarus defeated Vortex with a running lariat at 34:28 Tokens: Thetis 2, Vortex 4, Cordsar 3, Trotarus 0 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: A match of the year candidate that resulted in a standing ovation from the fans in attendance. The match also gained extra significance prior to beginning, as just before the ring introductions it was announced that the winners would be granted a shot at the GWF Tag Team Title at GWF 48. Both teams started cautiously as a result, exchanging brief advantages before their opponent retreated to his corner. CrossCurrents would eventually isolate Cordsar in the ring for an extended period, using excellent teamwork to quiet the trash talker and prevent him from tagging his partner. Cordsar proved resilient by surviving his opponents’ WATERY GRAVE finisher three times before finally tagging in Trotarus, who would dominate the remainder of the match by pummeling first Thetis and then, after a tag, Vortex. Vortex would survive an onslaught of power moves from Trotarus and even an application of Trotarus’ MENSAN LOCK finisher. However, a running lariat from Trotarus would knock Vortex head over heels and provide Trotarus with the winning pinfall.
Hechilles vs. Caiman Hechilles defeated Caiman with THE END at 6:16 Tokens: Hechilles 1, Caiman 0 Match Rating: 2.50 Match Notes: Caiman dominated the entirety of the match until late when, after a shoulder breaker, he climbed to the top turnbuckle. He moved too slowly, however, and Hechilles recovered to throw him off the top into the ring, where he quickly hit his finisher to get the win.
Torin Caelum vs. Commander Sam Commander Sam defeated Torin Caelum with SAM’S ATOMIC DROP at 13:08 Tokens: Torin Caelum 4, Commander Sam 0 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: Sam wrestled possibly the best match of his career thus far, dominating the ring veteran and former GWF champ for most of the contest. Sam had an answer for everything Caelum attempted (the brawler outwrestling the wrestler) and finally got the winning pinfall by hitting first a superplex and then his finisher on Caelum to move on to the #1 contender match against Morpheus on GWF 48.
GWF Galaxian champion Omega vs. K.O. Keller – GWF Galaxian Title Match K.O. Keller defeated Omega with THE TEN COUNT at 5:03 K.O. Keller wins the GWF Galaxian Title! Tokens: Omega 4, K.O. Keller 0 Match Rating: 2.25 Match Notes: Keller completely dominated the match, leaving the champion reeling from a succession of offensive maneuvers. Omega survived Keller’s finisher twice, only to be devastated by a flying clothesline from the top turnbuckle. Keller then hit his finisher a third time for the win and the title, beginning his second reign and ending Omega’s 2 ½ year reign as champ.

Cosmos vs. Silvar Cosmos defeated Silvar with a superplex at 4:13 Tokens: Cosmos 0, Silvar 0 Match Rating: 1.50 Match Notes: A slow-paced match that peaked when Cosmos hit Silvar with a clothesline that forced him back into the turnbuckle. Cosmos quickly lifted Silvar onto the top turnbuckle and hit a superplex to get the win.
Santon vs. Mimic Santon defeated Mimic with SPIKE PILEDRIVER at 9:47 Tokens: Santon 0, Mimic 2 Match Rating: 2.75 Match Notes: Santon aggressively attacked Mimic from the opening bell, refusing to give his quicker opponent any opportunity to use that speed to his advantage. Mimic was able to survive pin attempts following an atomic skullcrusher and a neckbreaker but couldn’t survive Santon’s finisher.
Dorado Sundown (Blacklash and Bullwhip) vs. The Wind Riders (Rama and Tano) Blacklash defeated Tano with SUNDOWN at 17:28 Tokens: Blacklash 0, Bullwhip 1, Rama 0, Tano 3 Match Rating: 4.25 Match Notes: Rama and Tano thrilled the crowd by surprising Bullwhip early in the match, hitting their DEIMOS DRIVER double brainbuster finisher and nearly getting a three count. However, the former tag team champs would eventually gain control, ceding it only briefly for the remainder of the match. Bullwhip would isolate Tano in the ring for several minutes, hitting his TWELVE O’CLOCK HIGH finisher twice. Tano would make one final last lunge to tag in Rama, but Blacklash would knock Rama off the ring apron, forcing the beaten and exhausted Tano to remain in the ring. Blacklash would tag in and quickly hit his finisher for the win.
Torin Caelum vs. Mangus Mangus defeated Torin Caelum with a tombstone piledriver at 7:06 Tokens: Torin Caelum 2, Mangus 1 Match Rating: 3.00 Match Notes: Early back and forth action between the two competitors would eventually move to the ring floor, where Mangus would take control after ramming Caelum’s head into the announcers’ table. Once back in the ring, Mangus continued his assault on Caelum’s skull with the piledriver to pick up his biggest win to date in his GWF tenure.
Morpheus vs. Commander Sam Commander Sam defeated Morpheus with a Commander Slam at 31:16 Tokens: Morpheus 4, Commander Sam 2 Match Rating: 5.00 Match Notes: A match of the year candidate that left both competitors lying exhausted in the ring after the bell while the crowd gave a standing ovation. Neither man was able to apply his finisher during the match, as each had scouted the other well. Late in the match, Sam countered a body drop attempt by Morpheus with a shoulder tackle off the ropes. He then flung his stunned opponent into the turnbuckle and followed with a big kick to Morpheus’ face. One Commander Slam and a three count later, Sam has found himself as the #1 contender to K.O. Keller’s GWF Galaxian Title at the upcoming Galaxi-Cade supercard.
GWF Tag Team champions Paladin Power (Moonstrike and Solar Flare) vs. The Mensans (Cordsar and Trotarus) – GWF Tag Team Title Match Moonstrike defeated Cordsar with PALADIN DROP at 5:37 Tokens: Moonstrike 0, Solar Flare 0, Cordsar 3, Trotarus 0 Match Rating: 2.00 Match Notes: A dominant victory by the champs, as Cordsar was unable to tag in his partner for the duration of the match. Both Titans had their way with the smaller of their Mensan opponents, and while Cordsar was able to avoid a pin after Solar Flare’s PALADIN MISSILE finisher, a quick tag followed by Moonstrike hitting his finisher was finally enough to get the pin.

GWF Ringside Report The fourth annual Galaxi-Cade is fast approaching, and the lineup for the event has been finalized.
GWF Galaxian champion K.O. Keller will begin his second reign as champ by defending the title against Commander Sam. Sam has been on a roll lately, with impressive victories over Torin Caelum and Morpheus on consecutive cards to receive this title shot. Sam was well prepared for those two previous matches, clearly having scouted both men intensively in order to counter their offensive arsenals. Now he faces Keller, whose offense has been known to overwhelm even the hardiest of opponents.
Former GWF champ Omega, meanwhile, will compete in his first match without the belt around his waist in over 2 ½ years. His opponent will be his greatest rival, and fellow GWF co-owner, Morpheus, who was unable to wrest the title from Omega during his reign despite numerous chances.
GWF Tag Team champions Paladin Power will once again defend the belts against Dorado Sundown. These two teams have easily been the best two tag teams in the GWF’s short history, and another classic battle between the two teams is expected. As an aside, Morpheus has expressed interest in signing a new tag team or two to GWF contracts, to add some more competition to the tag team scene.
Hechilles and Caiman have impressed the fans and their fellow wrestlers with their series of matches, with each competitor having two victories against the other. Galaxi-Cade will feature another match between the two, and the winner will go on to compete in a #1 contender match later in the year for a shot at the GWF Galaxian Title.
Mangus and Santon will square off against each other in an important rankings match for both competitors, as both have struggled to string together victories to move up the rankings. Despite this, Mangus has already stated that should Commander Sam win the GWF Galaxian Title at Galaxi-Cade, he will immediately demand a title match against Sam to prove Cygnusian superiority to Earth.
Ring veteran Screw has officially announced that he will retire from competition at the end of 2078, citing all the years of wear and tear on his body from his ring wars. He has agreed to team with his Rock Solid tag team partner Ricken Prince one final time at Galaxi-Cade, aiding him once again in his ongoing feud with Defiance. Screw’s retirement plays right into Defiance’s hands, as they’ve been looking for a way out of the feud to refocus themselves on the GWF Tag Team Title scene. Prince, meanwhile, has shown no interest in ending the feud, as he feels the feud has provided focus to him.
Torin Caelum had been scheduled to compete at Galaxi-Cade but will unfortunately miss the event due to a head injury suffered in his match against Mangus at GWF 48. The injury is not expected to be serious, but doctors have told him he should skip at least one event.
The final two signed matches for Galaxi-Cade are: The Mensans vs. CrossCurrents, and Cosmos vs. Mimic.

After the match, Prince appeared upset with Screw for not attempting to break up the submission attempt.
Hechilles vs. Caiman Hechilles defeated Caiman with THE END at 18:47 Tokens: Hechilles 2, Caiman 3 Match Rating: 4.50 Match Notes: Another excellent match between these two competitors. Caiman then gained the advantage, hitting Hechilles with his HANDICAPPER finisher, which Hechilles also survived. Caiman continued the attack by hitting a sit-out power bomb, and then he climbed to the top turnbuckle. Hechilles, however, recovered and was able to superplex Caiman off the top turnbuckle. He followed that with his finisher, which finally gave him the win.
Mangus vs. Santon Mangus defeated Santon with a cobra clutch suplex at 22:56 Tokens: Mangus 2, Santon 1 Match Rating: 3.50 Match Notes: A back and forth match in which neither competitor gained an extended advantage. Blacklash gained the advantage during the final of these against Solar Flare, However, once back in the ring, Solar Flare countered a running clothesline attempt by Blacklash with a backward leg sweep and then applied a scorpion deathlock to his opponent. With Blacklash down on the mat, he then hit his finisher to gain the winning pinfall and retain the GWF Tag Team Titles for his team.
Omega vs. Morpheus Omega defeated Morpheus with TOMAHAWK THRUST at 3:45 Tokens: Omega 1, Morpheus 4 Match Rating: 4.00 Match Notes: A short but thrilling match with plenty of high impact maneuvers. Omega hit his COSMIC WAR DANCE finisher twice successively early, only for Morpheus to recover and hit his own TRIP TO HADES finisher on Omega. Omega recovered to again hit COSMIC WAR DANCE twice successively, and, when Morpheus again kicked out of the pinfall attempts, then hit TOMAHAWK THRUST to finally get the win.
GWF Galaxian champion K.O. Keller vs. Commander Sam – GWF Galaxian Title Match K.O. Keller defeated Commander Sam with a moonsault at 8:58 Tokens: K.O. GWF Ringside Report
The fourth annual GalaxiCade is in the books and proved to be another success for the GWF. The GWF now moves on to the final three shows to be held in 2078.
Fresh off his successful title defense at GalaxiCade, GWF Galaxian champion K.O. Keller will defend his title at GWF 50 against the man he defeated for the title, Omega. Then, the champion following this match will then defend the title at GWF 52 against the winner of a #1 contender match to be held at GWF 51 between Mangus and Hechilles.
GWF Tag Team champions Paladin Power will have their next title defense at GWF 51. Their opponents will be the winner of the Defiance/Mensans match to be held at GWF 50.
Following his and Screw’s loss to Defiance at GalaxiCade, an upset Ricken Prince has challenged Screw to a match at GWF 50. Screw, who had already announced prior to GalaxiCade that he would be retiring at the end of the year and would be focusing on singles matches until then, quickly accepted the challenge.
In other news, Omega was seen introducing his soon-to-be-18-years-old son to Cosmos backstage at GalaxiCade. Omega said that his son, who wishes to be called Star Warrior, has been training to enter the GWF in 2079. Star Warrior and Cosmos were seen talking most of the night backstage, and a couple of days later Cosmos announced that he will be taking the remainder of 2078 off in order to train with Omega and Star Warrior. When a reporter asked Morpheus for his thoughts on Omega training Cosmos, Morpheus shrugged his shoulders and said, “No comment.”
Morpheus did announce that he has found a new tag team that will be entering the GWF in 2079, and that he will be travelling to their home planet of Estoria to finalize the details shortly.
