They have Universe mode which is kind of like that. So I can book my own shows and watch the CPU fight it out? Do they keep records or progress storylines in any way? On UFC the records don't carry over from created card to card. Only bummer. So I just track records myself. |

It's been like 5 years so there might be changes. I think you can pick your roster and watch the CPU matches but I think the shows might get booked for you. I'm not 100% sure on that though.

That's sadly a limitation of all sports simulations. I've actually thought about buying their fictional soccer universe and making my own league from that. Off topic but I love simulating fights on UFC 2. I made Floyd Mayweather and he rolled over everyone until he ran into Matt Hughes. Idk why but its a lot of fun for me to just book the cards and watch the CPU vs CPU fight it out while rolling FG cards. I'm wondering if I can do the same w WWE 17. I used to do that on the old WWE games on the PS1/2 but I soon got tired of the flaky AI! I retired it after discovering the LOW card game. That soccer universe sounds a good idea. I suppose you could do a World Cup with them. I'll probably use the European sets more often. |

I was thinking about doing like a Euro style table with relegation with just the national teams. Relegate 3. I was trying to figure out a system for promotion. Maybe a tournament with a 3rd place game in there for the losers in the semis.

They added the play-offs for added interest, if you ask me. |

It would be mostly for times sake. I would run multiple leagues with relegation and promotion if I could because they would be awesome.

I like this idea. Get the fictional sets and use the national teams. Establish a top league of 20 with the FIFA rankings of the top 20 teams. Relegate 3. That has potential.

I received my copy of this game last week and sat down this afternoon to play it. I used the two English teams that came with the base game (Chelsea & Manchester United circa 2015).
Anyway United took a 3rd minute lead, Chris Smalling heading home from a corner but Chelsea retaliated and scored an equaliser in the 25th minute.
Many thanks to the OP for posting about this game and therefore bringing it to my attention.

Just wanted to drop in and add that PLAAY Games has been really awesome since I discovered them last year. I own the stock car racing, baseball, and golf games and they are all excellent. I'm glad to see others that have found out about them. Keith provides great customer service as well.
