The Brain claims that triple celebration will stretch right into New Years Eve…..The last title match has Ladies Champion April Hunter defending against Sherri Martel, word around the locker room is that Heenan is positioning himself as an advisor for Martel. Imagine Heenan managing all WSF Champions?!?
Finally, Adrian Street played his own version of Scrooge with an upset win over Santa Wolf. Wolf controlled the match until Miss Linda started to rifle through Santa's bag of gifts! Santa tried retrieving the bag through the ropes, but Street hit a crucifix for the flash pin. Miss Linda bolted from ringside with the bag with Street in tow! Santa was irate as the gifts were for a local children's hospital. Santa vows to get this bag back somehow!

WSF at New York City
Bobby Heenan attempts to cement the WSF Manager of the Year award as he leads his Family into four title challenges.
Angelo Mosca W Belgian Brawler, HEART PUNCH
Sherri Martel (with Bobby Heenan) W Ladies Champion April Hunter, Sherri hit a charging April with knees to her face and landed a TOP ROPE SPLASH to win the gold. Heenan’s first step to the Grand Slam is complete.
Super 6 Semifinals, Best-of-Three Falls: Ted Dibiase W One Man Gang (with Oliver Humperdink). The Gang was DQ’d in fall one, but his strategy backfired when Dibiase used a LOADED GLOVE to KO the big man.
Super 6 Semifinals, Best-of-Three Falls: John Pesek W Diamond Dallas Page, another sweep as Pesek’s submission grappling was too much for DDP.
Bryan Danielson W Al Snow, CATTLE MUTILATION.
Larry Zbyszko (with Bobby Heenan) W CAN-AM Champion D-LO Brown to win the title with a knee smash. Heenan was ecstatic as he was halfway to the Grand Slam with Larry’s victory. The Legend wore down Brown with repetitive Abdominal Stretches and knee smashes to gain a methodical, effective victory. Larry Zbyszko has won all three men’s titles in the WSF!
Rick Rude and Curt Hennig (with Bobby Heenan) W WSF Tag-Team Champions James Gang to win the titles. Almost a replay in strategy of the tag-team title match, as Rude and Hennig wore down the champs with a methodical pace. Heenan gains the third piece of the WSF Grand Slam when Hennig pinned Kip James with the HENNIG PLEX to win the belts.
WSF Champion Rob Van Dam W The Mountie (with Bobby Heenan) with the VAN DAMINATOR to regain the title. Mountie interrupted the ring introductions to jump the champion with a steel chair. Van Dam quickly rallied and used the chair on the Mountie, hitting the VAN DAMINATOR for the pin!
Heenan was furious that he lost his chance at the Grand Slam and assisted the Mountie with an attack on Van Dam. Sabu came to Van Dam’s aid and cleared the ring of Heenan. Sabu and Van Dam then turned their attention to The Mountie! After double-teaming him they put him through a table. Heenan and Larry Zbyszko helped an injured Mountie to the locker room while Sabu & Van Dam celebrated to the cheers of the crowd!
Santa’s Bag on a Ladder Match: Adrian Street W Santa Wolf.
Street and Santa brawled wildly and the bag of goodies tumbled from the ceiling when both men pulled it down. The referee declared the first one to grab the bag would win the match. Street recovered and grabbed the bag. The Exotic One asked for the microphone and stated all he wanted to do was spread the “Christmas Spirit”. Street offered to enlist as one of Santa’s elves since he and Linda look great in the tights! Wolf accepted, shook hands and gave out the gifts to the crowd! Unbelievable finish to a wild match.
Super 6 Finals: Ted Dibiase W John Pesek, up and down match so each man capture a fall. Dibiase outlasted Pesek in fall three by working on the Tiger Man’s leg. Dibiase wins the tournament and is named the #1 Contender. Could this tournament win propel Dibiase to regain the WSF Title? We will see in the coming weeks!
NOTES: Time is winding down until the King of The Mountain event in Montreal. The card is headlined with a special “Every man for Himself, Three-Ring Battle Royal”. Other events include a special Two-Ring Tag-Team Battle Royal and a WSF Championship Match between Rob Van Dam and Ted Dibiase. A special Ultimate Escape Cage Match is the first match of the evening and will feature WSF Tag-Team Champions Rick Rude and Curt Hennig defending the belts against the James Gang. Hopefully this match will settle things between the James Gang and the Heenan Family.
More participants of the battle royals are slated for announcement on the next card: New Blood Tournament 8. Besides a special tournament featuring a slew of WSF Newcomers, an update on WSF Year End Award voting and a special Wrestler of the Year Challenge between WSF Champion Rob Van Dam and CAN-AM Champion Larry Zbyszko. No titles on the line, but the winner may have sole claim to the WSF Wrestler of the Year Award! Stay tuned as 2010 heats up with the WSF!

King Of The Mountain at Montreal, Quebec
Ultimate Escape Steel Cage Match for the Federation Tag-Team Championship: Champions Rick Rude and Curt Hennig defeated The James Gang.
Rude escaped, followed by Kip James. This left Curt Hennig and B.G to battle for the belts. Both men were bloody, but Curt kept him off balance and eventually escaped the cage to leave with the titles. Subsequently, the champs celebration was short-lived due to a double-team on Hennig by the James Gang leaving the “Perfect One” in a bloody heap.
Two-Ring, 20-Team Super Royal: Featuring Midnight Express, Killer Bees, Road Warriors, Doc & Gordy, Bolsheviks, Fabulous Kangaroos, Al Snow & D-Lo Brown and Love Brothers.
The first ring led to Fabulous Kangaroos methodically eliminating the Love Brothers to win that ring. Coincidentally, the Love Brothers eliminated the most teams until this finish and victims included: Masked Superstars, Red Pepper and the Vachons. Surprises galore occurred in the second ring as the Road Warriors were distracted by Kendrick and London, leading to elimination by the Bolsheviks. Al Snow & D-Lo Brown was the hot team, eliminating the Armstrongs, Doc & Gordy and Kendrick & London. However, Brian Blair and Al Snow both flipped over the top rope after Snow tried to save D-Lo Brown from an ouster. This turn of events led to the Fabulous Kangaroos the sole survivor of Ring #1 and the battle royal champions.
Midget Match: Sky Low Low defeated Little Beaver with a dropkick.
Best-of-Three Falls Ladies Tag-Team Match: Ida Mae Martinez and Penny Banner defeated April Hunter and Trinity Denucci with Special Referee Sherri Martel.
Martel favored the team of Hunter and Denucci early on, but amazingly kept out of the match when Martinez used a flying headscissor on Hunter to win fall one. Penny Banner kept the pressure on Hunter and scored a quick win with a sunset flip off the ropes. This move won the fall and the match for the team of Martinez and Banner.
Federation Champion Rob Van Dam defeated Ted Dibiase with a FIVE-STAR SPLASH. The Federation assigned special troubleshooting referee Bill Alfonso to this match.
“Fonzie” arrived to the Fed with an impressive resume of officiating throughout the United States and that reputation earned him the nod in this championship match. Van Dam took control using outside the ring tactic as “Fonzie” seemed to slightly favor Van Dam. Van Dam hit his finisher for the win. Ringsiders heard Dibiase demands for a rematch with an impartial referee or a limit to out-of-ring activities.
Three-Ring, 45-Man Ultimate Royal featuring Andre The Giant, Can-Am Champion Larry Zbyszko, The Crusher, One Man Gang, George Hackenschmidt, Jimmy Snuka, Antonino Rocca, Nick Bockwinkel, Magnum TA and The Sheik.
Surprises abound in this big battle royal, but Hackenschmidt dominated with his strength to win Ring #1 outlasting such favorites like Don Leo Jonathan and Mil Mascaras. Andre the Giant won Ring #2 handily outlasting giants like King Kong Bundy and One Man Gang while the Crusher upset the Sheik, and Nick Bockwinkel to capture Ring #3. Andre tossed the Crusher but the wily Milwaukee mauler held onto the Giant’s arm. Hackenschmidt snuck behind the French Giant and the Russian Lion surprised the crowd eliminating the Giant in his adopted hometown. George Hackenschmidt is the Ultimate Royal Champion!
Stay tuned for news and notes regarding the aftermath of this big event!

The next card from Atlantic City includes some special events: Tag Challenge Semifinals include Heenan Family members and Tag-Team Champions Rude and Hennig defending against Steve Williams & Terry Gordy. The vacancy left by the Warriors-Kendrick/London first-round encounter has forced the WSF Commission to schedule a rematch from the tag-team Super Royal at King of the Mountain. The ring two, double-elimination at King of the Mountain between the Killer Bees and the Snow-DLO Brown combo will lead to a tag-team match between the two teams! Plus, the full lineup for the big upcoming card from Boston!

The last episodes of SLAM in Atlantic City before a big card in Boston is on tap. Here are the results, please note that Bobby Heenan is assigned referee duties for the Larry Zbyszko-Nick Bockwinkel match, and cannot back out or else both wrestlers are eliminated!
Non-Televised Bouts: Federation Champion Rob Van Dam and Sabu beat Ted Dibiase and Magnum TA when Sabu pinned Dibiase with the ARABIAN FACEBUSTER.
Russian Lion George Hackenschmidt beat Red Menace as the Russian Lion wanted to show everyone what a true Russian is about!
Mil Mascaras beat Magnificent Muraco, DQ. Muraco roughed up the Masked Mexican Matman outside the ring. The referee called for the bell when he used a tray of refreshments on Mascaras. Gleefully choking him with the strap. The referee called for the bell fearing further damage.
Championship Challenge Quarterfinal 1: Sabu upset Argentina Rocca with a deathjump bodypress. Championship Challenge Quarterfinal 2: Sheik beat Angelo Mosca after a FIREBALL. The Sheik used fire to win his tournament matches (the first over George Steele). These acts have raised the ire of both Mosca and Steele.
Tag-Team Challenge Match 3: Federation Tag-Team Champions Curt Hennig and Rick Rude (with Heenan) beat Steve Williams and Terry Gordy. Great match that went back and forth. The champions used their savvy to isolate a stunned Gordy and Hennig used a missile dropkick to gain the pin.
King of Mountain winner George Hackenschmidt beat Johnny Rodz in a tuneup for his title challenge against the Rob Van Dam-Ted Dibiase tilt in Boston!
Championship Challenge Quarterfinal 3: Sandman beat Jim Duggan via DQ. Tough brawl which saw both men threaten to use their special persuaders: Sandman's cane and Duggan's 2x4. However Duggan used in a wild ringside brawl earning a DQ!
Championship Challenge Quarterfinal 4: Can-Am Champion Larry Zbyszko beat Nick Bockwinkel. Special Referee Bobby Heenan steered clear of controversy throughout the match and was tentative to make any real enforcements.
The true controversy came at the end of the match and spilled into the post-match highlights. Larry removed a turnbuckle and slammed Bockwinkel's back into the exposed metal. This lent Nick to easy prey for a backbreaker/pin combo for the win. Nick complained to Bobby about this tactic, but Heenan shuffled away with Larry Legend in tow. Nick Bockwinkel could barely stand and walk without assistance. Is a rift forming in the Heenan Family?
Tag-Team Challenge Match 4: Al Snow and D-Lo Brown beat the Killer Bees when Snow surprised Blair with a moonsault to cap an exciting match.
DDP challenged "Jersey Shore" Champion Larry Sharpe to a match. Sharpe shook his Jersey Shore Title Trophy in DDP's face calling him a loser and a disgrace to the state. A pull-apart brawl ensued forcing the referee to declare their scheduled match a "No-Contest".
What an evening! This sets the stage for a big card in Boston. The lineup for the upcoming Beantown card:
Lumberjack Match: Federation Champion Rob Van Dam vs. Ted Dibiase

WSF at Boston, MA
Magnum TA beat The Red Menace with a BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX.
Magnificent Muraco upset George Hackenschmidt with the HAWAIIAN HAMMER.
Championship Challenge Semifinal #1: Sabu beat Sheik via forfeit. The rumor mill was churning as the Sheik's absence is allegedly due to George Steele assaulting the Syrian Madman at Logan Airport in apparent payback for Sheik throwing fireballs in their first round encounter. Both principles were detained to the security risks involved.
Championship Challenge Semifinal #2: Can-Am Champion Larry Zbyszko beat The Sandman to advance to the finals. The champion removed the turnbuckle and slammed Sandman repeatedly into the exposed metal.
Lumberjack Match for Federation Championship: Champion Rob Van Dam beat Ted Dibiase. Sabu attacked Dibiase with a chair after Van Dam threw the challenger to the floor. A bloody Dibiase was easy prey to a Van Dam offensive capped by a flying body press for the win.
Best-of-Three Falls Six-Man Tag-Team: Jones Boys and George South pulled off the upset from the Fabulous Kangaroos and Red Berry. Al Costello beat SD in fall one with the MARBLE BOR LEGLOCK. The Kangaroos used illegal double-teaming on SD’s hurt leg in fall two for a DQ. The Kangaroos could not capitalize on this injury as SD made a desperation tag as his cousin “Soul Train” Jones cleaned house. Roy Heffernan entered the match and had Soul Train in position for a top rope press, but Jones moved and cradled the Kangaroo for the victory.
Bruiser Brody beat One Man Gang with a dropkick. Bruiser Brody faces Andre the Giant at WSF Fever at Washington, DC.
Tag-Team Challenge and Federation Championship Match: Champions Rick Rude & Curt Hennig (with Bobby Heenan) beat Al Snow & D-Lo Brown when Snow slammed Rude into a corner post.
Championship Challenge Finals: Can-Am Champion Larry Zbyszko (with Bobby Heenan) beat Sabu. Larry Legend got extreme again by removing a corner turnbuckle and using the exposed metal as a weapon. A groggy Sabu was an easy PILEDRIVER victim for Larry Legend. Larry Zbyszko wins the tournament.
Recap: WSF officials plan to announce the full Legends Fever card slated for Washington, DC. The weeks leading up to the big event see some big matches in store, stay tuned! An ironic twist of fate occurred in Boston as the number-one contenders for both the heavyweight and tag-team titles dropped decisions. This does not change their title match status since both contenders earned their title matches at King of Mountain, but it does heat up the title picture for future challengers.
