Thought I'd try something different. Since, for whatever reason, I always flame out on posting results, maybe I could actually just post little summaries of what's going on in my feds. We'll see if I can keep that up on a regular basis (or semi-regular....or at least a few times a year! .) I do like having an electronic home for my stuff too, to give me an electronic record, 'cause for all things FG, I still use my trusty booking notebooks to house my fed results and angles. Now, if I can just...you know...post! Okay, with that said, on to what's happening! I've rolled into Season 35 of Joint Promotions, having concluded Season 34. The 3 World Champions are as follows: *GWF (official COTG, played Kronos-style): Godsend. *WWA (Legends): Ric Flair (bootleg version). NOTE: I scrapped the idea of having a separate fed for Legends bootlegs...who am I kidding, 3 feds is enough until I retire! I do use legends bootlegs that are compatible with official legends characters. *AAW (bootleg, GWFZ, and re-imagined GWF): The Champ. Here are some notes on what's been occuring in all 3 feds: GWF: At the heart of the GWF is a years' long feud between Godsend and the Omega family. This all stems from years ago, when SuperNova turned on her family and aligned herself with Godsend, inciting a war between Godsend and the "Omega's". And while I will let the feud die down for periods of time, whenever Godsend or a member of the Omega family gains the belt, the feud comes roaring back. For whatever reason, I never grow tired of it. In this rendition, Godsend just defeated Omega for the belt, and has had a couple of very fun (and intense) defenses against Star Warrior. Believe it or not, Bloodline has had (next to Omega himself) the greatest success vs. Godsend, and he is next in line to try and wrest the belt away from the "Ric Flair of the GWF" (okay...to me at least!). We shall see if that'll happen! Other undercard feuds at the moment are Char (current IP Champ) vs. Adam Blast over the Interplanetary Title, and the Draconian Sheik & Count Necros (original card) (current GWF Tag Champs) vs. pretty much every Titan who ever wrestled, but most certainly Lord Nexus! I'm enjoying all the battles! WWA: Just finished a great feud between Bob Backlund (who lost his World Title to Ric Flair) and Roddy Piper, concluding in a Dog Collar Match, which saw Backlund go over. The feud stemmed from Piper trying to get Backlund to tap into his inner demons, and become more aggressive and more ruthless, with Piper taunting Backlund at every turn to try and get him to turn. Backlund had a chance to do so in the Dog Collar Match, with Piper taunting Backlund to let his inhibitions go and destroy Piper. Backlund came close....but reigned it back in at the end to pin Piper, and finish the feud honorably (and, well, save his soul! ). Still, this was great fun, and it'll be resurrected at some point! Flair is on top now, and I'm currently having him run through his gallery of historic opponents (Sting, Dusty, eventually Steamboat, etc.), but did pause to have him take on Don Leo Jonathan in a scheduled defense...and DLJ came close to winning, with Flair getting DQ'd. This had some heat to it, and there's gonna be a rematch soon! AAW: The Champ (GWFZ tribute character to John Cena) reigns supreme in the AAW at the moment, and continues to build his Hall of Fame credentials. Just needs 2 more years of real time competition, and he will be eligible (for my Hall, at least!). He's currently feuding with Stellar Nexus (who I imagine as a Rock-like character) over the belt, with Stellar starting to finally emerge as a Main Event caliber wrestler. And...he's had 2 very hot matches (both of recent vintage with the arrival of the Kronos cards!) with Blazing Skull. More to come on that, as that feud's got legs! In undercard feuds, Stars & Stripes (current AAW Tag Champs, and Kronos version) are feuding with the Overmen, and there have been some great matches in this series! And Commander Sam (who lost the belt to The Champ) has a great feud with AAW Legend (and Ed Davis creation...and another Rock tribute) "Showstoppa" Luther Diggs. Yes, I do have feuds that don't revolve around the title tours! That's it for now, will update here and there with my fed happenings! Kinda enjoyed typing it out like this, gave me a couple of ideas...thanks for reading!

Bloodline has always been my favorite member of the GWF's 'First Family'... His canon storyline (imho) is one of the most captivating in the game... Stoked to see if he can take that title from Godsend.
Absolutely love the pairing of Count Necros and Draconian Sheik - two more of my COTG favorites... Hope they have a memorable reign.
That angle between Piper and Backlund must have been lots of fun... Though I'm not into bootlegs myself, it's difficult to argue with Ric Flair as champion... Eager to see who can knock him off his pedestal.
This new format provides an excellent overview of what's happening in your various feds, my friend... Very nice work!

Hard to beat The Champ. Always enjoy a fed where Backlund is showing off his skills.

2022 HALL OF FAME SELECTIONS:
Every April, I "elect" new members to my own personal Hall of Fame (to be eligible for the Hall, a wrestler must've competed/been in existence for 10 years, real time). Most April's see me electing new members to the Hall, but not last year; it just was one of those anomalies of a year, in which nobody was truly worthy.
This year is not the case, however, as 2 wrestlers really solidified their HOF credentials over the past year with stellar campaigns during the past 12 months. They are as follows:
*Aegis: Aegis has become one of the greats in my GWF history, now having won the GWF World Title on 3 separate occassions, with 65 total defenses under his belt. In the early days of his career, he wasn't showing this kind of singles success, but really ramped that up with some great World Title reigns over the past couple of years. He also has had a highly successful pairing with Omega, the two men having won World Tag-Team gold themselves. Aegis's greatest rivals during his career have been Murdock, Godsend, and as of late, Mister Centra. He continues to be one of the flagbearers in my GWF, and will at this point, most likely always be moving forward.
*BOB BACKLUND: Long before we had Backlund as an official Legends wrestler, I used his bootleg (courtesy of the Legends team!). He was solid from the start, and has been around in my WWA for the past 17 years. It was this year, however, which saw Backlund become Hall-worthy, as he went on 2 lengthy campaigns as champion, feuding with the likes of Roddy Piper, Buddy Rogers, and Great Gama, to name just a few. His career record now stands at 3 WWA World Title reigns, with 77 career defenses, putting him in the upper echelon of WWA champions. His longest feud has been with Nick Bockwinkel, and the two are usually gold when they are feuding! Backlund, like Aegis in the GWF, has become one of the standard bearers in the WWA.
Welcome to the Hall Aegis and Bob Backlund!

What's happenin':
GWF: The World Title has seen a couple of different standard-bearers in the GWF as of late. Godsend had been experiencing a nice title reign when he was suddenly upset by a man who is busily building his own Hall of Fame credentials....and that would be Scion Nexus! Nexus and Godsend have had some classic battles in the past, and while it took Nexus a bit to finally, and consistently, overcome Godsend, as of late he's more than held his own with arguably the GOAT in the GWF.
And then....Nexus really had a moment when he beat the other man with the claim to GOAT in the GWF, that being Omega. Nexus went over in a classic babyface match, which did see Omega playing some shade of subtle heel at times to really try and get under Nexus's skin. Good match, a real statement by Nexus that he's knocking on the door of the upper echelon of GWF champs.
Alas, Nexus did go down to another man determined to carve his name amongst the greats of the GWF, that being Paragon. And Paragon is the current GWF Champion, with a title defense against Pegasus on the horizon (Paragon having just defeated Aegis in a good bout). Will Scion Nexus get a rematch against Paragon should he prevail over Pegasus (Pegasus has been a heel for quite some time in my GWF, but could play the face role in this one)?? Stay tuned...
Other hot feuds in the GWF include newly crowned IP Champion Lance At-Las vs. Ventross over the IP strap, and tag champions Quasar & Pulsar vs. Draconian Sheik & Count Necros (although this feud may be coming to an end...for now!).
WWA: The WWA World Title has become a real hot potato, after a long run by Ric Flair (12 defenses) ended against feuding opponent Don Leo Jonathan. DLJ made for a great feuding opponent, with their matches having a fair amount of heat to them. But, alas, DLJ did not experience a quality title reign (which I define as at least 4 defenses), and succumbed to Lou Thesz's Greco-Roman Backdrop (quite impressive against DLJ), which saw the World Championship transfer to Thesz.
And then...Thesz went down to Nick Bockwinkel, against whom he'd been having a nice little side feud! Now, Bockwinkel definitely bent the rules to win the belt, as many observers thought he had a handful of Thesz's tights when he got the win. Thesz was hopping mad about it, and the two met in a rematch, this time with Bobby Heenan at Bockwinkel's side. Bock got the win with the Figure Four this time, solidifying his World Championship status (and giving him his WWA-leading 97th World Title defense along the way!).
Other feuds in the WWA at the moment include tag champs RVD & Sabu (currently on a nice title reign of their own) against Shane Douglas & Curt Hennig, and Sputnik Monroe against Billy Wicks! Pepper Gomez, current St. Louis champ, is also gearing up for a feud against Ray Stevens!
AAW: The Champ was on an absolute tear, having a great title reign of his own (12 defenses), and winning in a feud against Blazing Skull. But alas, all good things come to an end, and Varsity dethroned The Champ to win the AAW World Heavyweight Championship in a very good bout! This could escalate into a feud if Varsity survives his next defense against Jake Cage (Steve Austin tribute done by Dale Blomquist).
Other feuds in AAW include the ongoing Stars & Stripes (current tag champs) vs. Overmen feud, and 2 feuds that haven't been resolved between The Champ & Luther Diggs, and The Champ & Stellar Nexus. Look for more fireworks out of all of these feuds!
That's what's happenin' in Joint Promotions folks!

AAW: Just completed a great 3-way feud over the AAW World Title, which was a lot of fun. The fireworks all started when Varsity won the belt from The Champ, ending his great run with the title (which I referenced in my last post). After that match, he promptly proceeded to lose the belt to a man determined to make his name in AAW, Stellar Nexus! And...Nexus (whom Varsity believes is simply beneath him as a wrestler...although he just lost to him!) just refused to give Varsity a rematch, as he stated that Varsity liked to preach what a great technical wrestler he was, but the truth was juuuuuuust a bit different (in that he has been known to bend the rules a time or six! ). Nexus got 1 successful defense under his belt, and then...he proceeded to lose it to Y2K!! Now, this was just too much for Varsity, as he had been feuding with Y2K for years (with some really great matches I might add!). So Varsity insisted that he be granted the first defense against Y2K, as after all, their match would be ratings gold for AAW! And...Varsity also stated he'd like it to be a Triple Threat Match with Stellar Nexus, as he proclaimed he would beat both men to prove his superiority! If only I had a way to run a Triple Threat Match.....hmmmmmm.....wait....I do, I do....its in my new Ringside Companion! The 3 great talents proceeded to tear the house down with a 5-star MOTYC classic, with so many near falls and pin saves, I couldn't keep count! As for who won??? Varsity, who else??! So, now Y2K and Stellar Nexus are hopping mad at having both lost to Cetus's "real Olympic athlete" as well as now having to endure his non-stop chatter about it. Will we see a rematch, or is Varsity determined to pick them off one by one in singles matches??? Stay tuned, the action is hot in AAW for sure!

GWF: Pegasus has solidified his hold on the GWF belt, winning his feud with Paragon, and hearing a few cheers from the fans while he was at it (it has been a while for that folks!). After a brief skirmish with long-time rival Draconian Sheik, Pegasus now turns his sites to Endgame, for a showdown over the GWF World Title. That'll be coming up very soon! My money's on Endgame, we shall see...
Other feuds include Blazing Skull vs. Lance At-Las (Skull just defeated At-Las in a 4-weapons match for the IP Title), and newly crowned tag champions Draconain Sheik & Invincible Krakan (how's that for a pairing??) vs. Quasar & Pulsar!
WWA: Nick Bockwinkel was cruising along with the WWA World Title, enjoying another stellar reign, when he almost lost the belt to Dick Hutton in a 5-star MOTYC!!! What an absolute war this bout was, with Hutton nearly winning on multiple occassions (and Bobby Heenan factoring in mightily in Bockwinkel keeping the belt!). Bock's luck would run out, however, as he finally faced long-time foe (and friend of Hutton) Bobo Brazil who defeated Bockwinkel for the belt, managing to overcome Heenan's interference. This two long-time rivals never disappoint!
Other feuds include Red Bastien (always accompanied by friend and ally Pepper Gomez) vs. Ray Stevens over the St. Louis strap, and the war continues for the WWA World Tag Team Championship between champs Shane Douglas & Curt Hennig and RVD and Sabu!
AAW: Well, before Varsity could really get established as AAW Champion, The Champ gained a measure of revenge and defeated Varsity for the belt! The Champ then followed that up with wins over Sonny Owens and Solar Hawk (with whom he is currently feuding). The Champ's an early front runner for Wrestler of the Year, as he continues to be the face of AAW!
Other feuds in AAW include Totalis (newly crowned International Champion) vs. The Legacy, and tag champs Stars & Stripes vs. The Survivors (all cards of the Kronos sets).
Having a lot of fun in my neck of the galaxy promoters...

Skull vs At_las sounds like a fun feud....and yeah, that pairing of Sheik and Krakan...weird in one way, makes total sense in another.
Tricky Nicky is always awesome.

What's happenin': GWF: Perfect Specimen put an end to Pegasus's championship reign, but not until Pegasus had distinguished himself as champion with a 6-defense reign, to include feuds with Endgame and Paragon. Spec put away Pegasus with his Pinnacle of Success, and then defeated Pegasus again in the rematch, both matches of good quality and a lot of heat, making Spec-Pegasus another Feud of the Year candidate. Spec is now making the territory rounds with the big GWF belt proudly around his waist, having recently survived a tremendous challenge by Morpheus! Other feuds in the GWF include Spec vs. Oracle (from some previous bouts), Oracle & The Partisans vs. The Titans, and Adam Blast (CWF version) vs. Pegasus. WWA: The WWA World Title had become a bit of a hot potato, as Bobo Brazil lost it to Ted DiBiase, subsequently feuding with DiBiase and his million dollar corporation of King Kong Bundy and Austin Idol. Brazil's friend Pedro Morales avenged Bobo, defeating DiBiase and setting off on a solid title reign of his own, realizing 6 defenses with wins over the likes of the Great Gama, Tully Blanchard, Larry Zbyszko, and Sputnik Monroe, until finally falling to Nick Bockwinkel (who used quite a bit of trickery to gain the World Strap!). There will be a rematch between Morales and Bockwinkel soon enough fans! Other feuds include group feuds between Londos's Legion of Bobo, Dick Hutton, Londos himself, and Pepper Gomez vs. the elite heel stable of the WWA, that being Bockwinkel, Stevens, Buddy Rose, and Doug Sommers (managed by Bobby Heenan), Antonino Rocca vs. Wild Bull Curry, and Bobo Brazil (with sometimes ally Dutch Mantell) vs. the Million Dollar Corporation of Ted DiBiase, King Kong Bundy, and Austin Idol. Also, the feud between Shane Douglas & Curt Hennig (current WWA Tag Champs) and RVD and Sabu just won't quit; special match blow off coming soon! Fun stuff! AAW: Solar Hawk finally took down The Champ, derailing the front runner for Wrestler of the Year after feuding with The Champ for a bit over the belt! 'Da Hawk has gone on to defend successfully against Razor Sharp (GWFZ), Hegemony (GWFZ), and The Sheik in a special inter-promotional bout. He's getting ready for a big title defense against the Natural Man, Bobby Roberts (the wrestler with the name so nice, they named him twice Chad Olson !), as the two have some history together, none of it cordial! Other feuds include Stars & Stripes (current AAW Tag Champions) vs. The Survivors over the AAW Tag Belts, Spike vs. Blazing Skull (both reimagined versions, which lands them in my bootleg fed), and Morbid vs. The Champ. Having fun folks, hope you are too!
