Parker Meadows continues to struggle. He is hitting a horrible .086 with only five hits on the season. But those were some nice five hits. He has a triple and two HRs. He just needs to do more of that. With that production even low .200s would not be too bad and could live with it.

Sports and stats can be crazy. We have two starting pitchers with an ERA in the top 15. One has an ERA of 2.02 and is 5-0 while the other has an ERA of 2.52 and is 0-4.

The Tigers gave up 3 runs over the last two games, none in the first 9 innings yesterday with only 1 in the 10th and lost both games as they were shut out back-to-back days.
Reese Olson might be the new Justin Verlander for the Tigers. Not saying he is or will be as good but just that he gets no run support when he pitches. His ERA is 2.09 and WHIP is 0.99 yet he is 0-4. In his eight starts the Tigers have been shut out three times. Almost half!

I disagree. We have one of the best pitching rosters currently even with our two off season signings not giving us much. It's our hitting that sucks. If we can get more out of them like we did last night we are a playoff team.

Going into KC and getting swept sucks. The season is slowly slipping away from us. If we do not turn things around in next couple of weeks, it looks like the season will be over. Then it will be waiting till Lions season with a side of Red Wings.

What a slugfest today. We had to score 2 TDs but we won, 14-11. When they took the late lead 11-9 I thought it was over. But we came back with a two-run single to tie and the three-run walk off homerun to get the win and take 3 of 4 this series. If we can keep the bats hot and get our pitching back on track, we could make a run still.

What a slugfest today. We had to score 2 TDs but we won, 14-11. When they took the late lead 11-9 I thought it was over. But we came back with a two-run single to tie and the three-run walk off homerun to get the win and take 3 of 4 this series. If we can keep the bats hot and get our pitching back on track, we could make a run still. Super fun game to watch! Back and forth all day only to end with a walk-off dinger! TIGAZ!!! |

Big four game series in Boston starts tomorrow. Boston is one of a couple teams we have to jump over to earn a WC spot. We sit 3.5 games out of the last spot while Boston is 2.5 out. Winning 3 of four would be huge.
