Great discussion! I had come up with my own variation of the ag/pw rule a long time ago that I used for a while... Then I saw the version from the OP posted by someone (I thought it was Trav) a while back, and it was much superior to my own, so I adopted it and haven't looked back. Sometime within the last year or so, I saw Trav post about the rule lowering the possibility for defensive tags based on defensive level, and I have since adopted that for the same reason that Pariah listed above. The tag matches were just taking too long. I found myself not looking forward to rolling them out as much, and that was not a good thing. So, for that reason, I don't think I'll adopt the "adding up the (tag) options" rule, as, for some teams at least, it would lengthen the matches too much IMO. I love the creativity that is consistently on display here! And it seems that several people often have the same, or extremely similar, ideas, which probably shows that they are good ones!

Just started playing my Impact Pro indy fed and I'm absolutely LOVING the Regional Promotion Hometown adjustments... Chad Olson and Cory Olson did a phenomenal job with those... With a valuable assist by Vegas , if I recall correctly. Yes, it was my idea to include those rules in the Impact Pro set to give regional wrestlers like these Impact Pro wrestlers a better chance when in their home promotion of going over visiting wrestlers with more national or international acclaim. We mostly used the hometown advantage rules in the recently-released Ringside Companion Volume I book and I just slightly altered some of the language to make it more Indy-centric. I also added the last bullet about defense since on average Indy wrestlers have more down-3s than LOW wrestlers who I believe the rules in the Ringside Companion were designed for.
