Iβm interested in hearing what you guys think about this one: Drive. Hear me out. The mask, and the ending alone may qualify it? Definitely similar to a horror flick, and an incredible movie. I have not seen the movie but from the info I found on it and what you mentioned it could be on the fringe ala a slasher movie. To me if there is suspense and some scary moments while not a full blood horror movie it can be considered horror in the grander scale. Much like Die Hard is not a 100% true Christmas movie but it, and Lethal Weapon, are still Christmas movies.

Never been a horror movie guy. But this year I plan to finally watch the original Halloween. Its a classic and about time I've seen it. wait, what!? Dude, watch this immediately!!!Β AGREED! It's a bit dated, but Still a timeless classic. The Rob Zombie reboot was very good IMO, a lot more back story on old Michael. The Jamie Lee latest one is garbage IMO.

Not really a slasher flick kind of guy. I'm all about hauntings and the supernatural when it comes to horror movies.
The Others with Nicole Kidman is one of my faves, off the top of my head.
Dawn of the Dead, the 2004 remake, ranks up there too, even if you just watch the 10-minute opening scene π

Figured it was a chick flick w Ryan Gosling being in itβ¦boy, was I wrong.

It's very rare that I consider a movie better than the written story upon which it's based... This is one example... Destined to become a classic, imo.

And even though it's not "horror" in a traditional sense, this movie remains my absolute favorite of all-time... And it takes place during the Halloween season.

Yeah, there's traditional horror, thriller, and other types. Crow is still a good choice for Halloween viewing.

If it isn't creepy enough that the lead actor died during the filming of this movie, much like his father, Bruce Lee, before him with Game of Death...

I watched the show, cannot remember what it was even, just to see that trailer and I was blown away. I knew I had to see the movie when it came out. Much like the original Dawn it is the second best of the series, original or reboot, just a tad behind Night.
